Sasez2 new: Food is heavenly and very authentic! But takes forever to get to your table. The restaurant is very cold inside especially when there are so many delivery guys coming and going all the time. Better sit far from the main entrance to keep yourself warm. There is no parking available nearby. You’ve to park at the mall. Not wheelchair friendly.Vegetarian options: Mostly chat and paneer dishes
RACHANA DALVI: Ordered chilli paneer & tandoori paneer biryani. Amazing taste, good quantity, definitely worth the price.Though chilli paneer was slightly sweet, had the perfect blend of sweet & hot.The amount of gravy base in biryani could have been better.Will definitely order again.Vegetarian options: Variety of paneer dishes. They also have vegan options.

My partner and I ordered the £16.95 sunday- Thursday 5 course dinner meal and as usual it didn't disappoint! My partner ordered korma, keema naan, special rice and lamb puri with a pint of coke and I ordered a naga chilli lamb curry, garlic naan, special rice and also with a glass of coke and it's was absolutely delicious!I have never seen naga chilli curry anywhere else and I promise you if you like hot but flavourful curry this is the one you should try! It's not for the faint hearted but it's my personal favourite!Thank you for the 10/10 service as well! All the staff were very nice, polite and tentative!By far my favourite Indian ❤️

Blonde Manba: Had delicious curry with friends here. Some of us took advantage of their special deal, which included 5 items for £16, WOW, and great value for money. Currys were nicely spiced and a good range of favourites and specials. They tasted like they were cooked to order. A nice, friendly atmosphere with good service. Spyridon Dimopoulos: There are three Indian here in close proximity, kind of similar... the difference is on the rice colour, and tje spices, quantity is good, here on the lamb biriani i had a boiled egg included wich is a bonus...On the negative side is the presentation, unfortunately they bring the pots overflowing with the food running on the sides of them...

John Francis: Excellent Indian RestaurantAn honest review of The Jewel In The Crown Indian Restaurant in Swindon, not a usual social Indian meal maybe after a beer or two but, in the area killing time and looking for something tasty to eat. Arrived without booking as was welcomed by a tall, slim, extremely well-dressed individual who greeted me with a smile and welcoming good evening, sir. I asked for a table for one, and so the experience started. This is an excellent restaurant with an extensive menu to suit all. I do have one warning for you, come with an appetite and not as I did with an off the cuff visit just looking for a bite to eat and to kill some time this is a venue to enjoy, relax and to be treated to in my opinion some of the best indian food I’ve eaten, certainly the best Jalfrezi I've ever had with a smokey note in the background just beautiful. I will have to come back and bring my wife as I know she would love this place. Well done all at The Jewel In The Crown superb.The only picture I took was the cup of tea I had at the end, even that was something just a little special with the tea pot etc. x

The owner took the trouble to explain the nuances of the menu, and instead of our normal choice of poppadoms as a starter, we chose chicken lollipops; these were juicy, perfectly spiced and accompanied by a dip that complemented the flavours well.For mains, we chose the special lamb chilli with garlic naan. These were delicious, and the naans were perfectly cooked and fluffy. A good drink choice to complement the food is the Gurkha beer which has a clean, refreshing flavour.Overall, it was a great dining experience, and the cozy atmosphere and very friendly owners make this a gem in Swindon's curry corner.Kid-friendliness: The owners' baby daughter was seated in a highchair at one of the tables, and she captivated the diners with her cuteness and happy smiles. L Clark: We went on a Friday night about 6pm. It was fairly busy. We sat down immediately but by the door. It was chilly.The food was good. However, the madras was chilly hot. They put a service charge on the bill. We paid approx £6 and our final bill was about £60 with a couple of pints of lager. We shared a starter, madras curry and a Biriyani with a naan and chappati. I would definitely go again.

Stephen Eades: This was our first trip to the Raj on a cold Sunday evening while our son watched a film next door. In the 2 hours we were I'm the restaurant we were the only 'eat in' dinner. There were also only two takeaways collected in the same time frame. This was quite a surprise to us as the food was delicious, well cooked, and very fresh. The menu is extremely broad, including various vegan options as well as the usual as veg and non-veg dishes.The staff were friendly and very attentive... although maybe they were just pleased to have someone to serve!So in summary, we'd recommend it!

Amy Norris: I cannot thank Biplob and their team enough for making my 30th birthday such an incredible evening! The food was incredible and were incredible for catering for us as a group of 30 who all ordered individually and all came out piping hot and all loved their meal, the team just went above and beyond especially one woman in particular but sadly I did not get her name! They even gave me a present, the cutest little biplob mug!
