Village Gym Swindon: what do users think?
louise dixon: Just had my 1st ever pt with Tony really gr8 experience surprised myself I have alot of health conditions aswell and he was very mindful of this gr8 session Tony and iam actually looking forwards to next one I love being a member of the village the staff are amazing and have become my friends the smile they give you when you walk in brightens my day and each and everyone makes me keep going to reach my goals and they no when you need a complement to spar you on gr8 place it's become a home from home xx
Ruaidhri Brown: Brilliant Gym, I left Swindon to attend university but was excited to come back and resume my use of this gym.
fiona collins: The staff are always really helpful and the swimming pool is warm
Helga 78 (PUT Pilot HW): Great gym, new equipment.
Charli N: The gym is lovely - however the personal trainers seem to make distasteful comments online regarding the appearance of their customers… definitely the wrong mindset for PT’s to slate people who are going to the gym to better themselves!! Wouldn’t recommend 😤
Nellie O’: Great game and classes . Very friendly instructors with modified exercises to suit all abilities 👌🏽
Son Lee: Great workout space
Krzysztof Mamiński: My first gym experience ever and sooooo good. Very easy sign up process with Mia who was very helpful to me and my girlfriend. Than Chloe was super nice, friendly and patiently explained how the gym works from organisational side. And Felipe (probably misspelled, sorry man!) is so knowledgeable personal trainer, gave a lot of advise to start off. Never too busy, very nice changing rooms, sauna is amazing. All the equipment is very tech but super friendly to newbies with digital screens offering you advise how to do exercises and set up the gear. And always someone around to ask for help.Highly recommended!!
Terri Andrews: Just Love the Village Gym, Good selection of classes, lovely friendly staff, and a special shout out to Debbie who does the cleaning she is amazing, can always tell when she's not on duty! Lovely cheerful personality to go with it!! Well done Debbie.
Neil Bancroft: Not a massive gym but you can normally work a routine into what they got. It has all the essential weight equipment like racks, cable, benches and an ok range of dumbells. Lots of cardio stuff with a small swimming pool on the side
Chrstine Arthur: Always clean and tidy
Martino tilleard: We had an amazing stay at the Village hotel and spa. We only stopped off for one night on the way back from Jersey. The staff are very helpful & pleasant, the rooms clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend to others.
Devon Uzzell: Amazing, friendly staff and great bar and grill. Went for swimming and drinks after, very enjoyable experience and I plan to return very soon.
Charlotte._. Oxley: Very nice and comfortable gym. The staff are really nice especially lexi the receptionist! she creates a positive environment
Alessandra Zumerle: Good
Brian Delicate: Excellent facilities nice pool and sauna's
lee russell: Great place to work out and keep fit. Very clean and tidy staff very friendly
Akwasi Nyame: Excellent
Katie Fallon: Great gym and lovely staff, would recommend 👌
Elaine Jackson: Did a complimentary class which was amazing. Great facilities and extremely helpful, friendly staff.
Adauto Menegussi: The pool is warm and the people are nice

Haydon Centre and Gym: what do users think?
wayne clarke: Haydon Wick Bowls Club is behind the Haydon centre. The summer season activities have now begun, and I'm really looking forward to it. We have free coaching on Mondays from 1800hrs. We also have a petangue( Boules) this has got very popular and its played every Tuesdays and Saturdays from 10 am.
upside down housewife 214: The front disabled doors never work and are very heavy.Ladies toilets small are dirty.
Imtiaz Illahi: Very good
D N: I went yesterday for the first time at noon. The Pilates class was very good; the trainer was very nice. Few people were in there, I believe four in total, in two rooms (Pilates and gym), but no locker was available. The only ones with a key couldn't lock, so I had to take the backpack and clothes with me. Dirty floors and mattresses, but it is awful that people don't change their shoes when they enter at least the hall where the Pilates or Yoga classes occur. That should be a common-sense rule for everyone to follow, but there is no notice anywhere.I had no mood to visit the rest. Most probably, I will give up after the first month. I subscribed, believing it could be a good choice for my teen as well, but...
Bob Johnson: Looks dated and automatic doors for disabled access did not work
AJ Shift: Dirty changing rooms flickering lights no one ever at the front desk
S Fonseka: Badminton Courts are over priced, 16 per hour ?? Absolute ripoff for 40 mins .
Puro Geymır: Lying
Ali Dagdeviren: Robbery and disappointmentWe made a reservation for today, to use their indoor basketball court. But when we went we saw that it was closed and paid £30 for nothing. Waste of time with our friends. No notification received. Never rely them. Keep away.
Vhist: Allowing reservations to be done for the basketball courts saying "Open" when it is closed, when the gym itself is also closed. We wasted our money and time and got nothing in return. I bet the only reason you make money is because you have the only indoor basketball court in Swindon.
aakash chauhan: Good place for outdoor and indoor rating.
Abhi Nayyar: Place is good for indoor games. we play badminton over here. have to do advance booking. and you get a slot of 40 mins.
Thomas Delooze: Another epic taekwondo lesson this evening. The new flooring is wonderful
Lee Bristow: Haydon Gym serves a purpose and has enough equipment to please most people. Friendly environment. That said, if any men want to freshen up and take a shower afterwards expect a cold one as they are always cold. I have complained verbally and via email and get the same answers that they are being looked at.They get fixed for a few days then back to cold showers again. This has been ongoing since 2021.The changing rooms themselves are rarely cleaned and look filthy most of the time and with no cleaning rota to been seen so who knows if and when they may get cleaned? The bin maybe is emptied once a week and starts to overflow. And it’s disgusting and should be replaced to be honest. All this has been mentioned to the centre manager but still it continues. It’s a shame I have to resort to a public 2 star rating to see if there is any motivation to get it sorted. If not they will be losing a long time member of better gyms Haydon/Link.Giving a 2 star rating overall due to this.
Nigel Morgan: Great club and very friendly
James Stevens: Friendly staff and good facilities
Alan Roberts: Haydon Wick bowls club, great facilities, good parking, friendly club members. Great club to visit and play bowls, hospitality is excellent.
Mel Hearn: Lots of activities going on to join in with. Good parking.
Alex Shaw: Helpful and friendly staff
Sarah Taylor: Great little gym, perfect for those who prefer a quieter gym. Good amenities and monthly price includes all classes.
Christine Blake: It's my local centre where I go to do a health walk. They have lots of activities at the centre and all run smoothly.

Everlast Fitness Clubs - Swindon: what do users think?
Terry Giles: Good Gym but can get very busy, also overdue a refurb
Paul Boland: Staff have really bad attitudes, classes are over booked resulting in people being so close they touch when stretching out. Changing rooms and dated and dirty, showers are covered in build ups of sock lint. In all a pretty nasty place to spend anytime
マウリツィオ“Maz”マウリツィオ: The only other gym in the area besides a super expensive one.Even after the change in ownership, no improvement of the changing rooms (just Coin operated lockers replaced by padlocs) and bathrooms look very tired.Communal showers only and no family changing.Poor etiquette from users leaves the changing room floor flooded with water, one guy cutting nails leaving them on the floor!!The instructors seem to spend time in reception unless paid for 1:1, difficult to see them wondering around to check or help.
Kirsty Lake: I've been a member for over a year, the classes are great & included in the membership as well as use of swim pool, steam room & Jacuzzi. the price for membership is cheaper than some Gyms. The swimming pool area is kept clean & tidy. I recommend Everlast Gym - Swindon.
Craig Brogden: Friendly staff great atmosphere recommend wish was open later and weekends 😂
Andrada Ioana Toma: Nasty gross place .. very old and dirty changing rooms, so much chlorine in the pool that it stings your eyes, they don't respect their rules (teenagers come and disturb, jump in the pool and the staff members don't say anything) I honestly don't recommend it, it's a waste of money and the risk of leaving with a disease from there! Me and my partner use to go there and we disgusted!!!!!!
Alina Roxanda Vazquez Velazquez: Dirty place ,lasy cleaners - even I noticed the reception nothing done . Shame to do my gym there . But unfortunately I don't have a closer one. Pity, other could be good
Craig: Joined mainly for the pool. Great pool, split into swim lanes; slow medium and fast. This is great when you want to do some lengths without being interrupted by kids/teens.Downside is you need to bring your own locker padlock. And there is no machine to dry out your trunks.Gym facilities seem well stocked though. But smaller than you would imagine. Not done a class but passed some in action and look good.Personal trainers are available too. Not sure on individual pricing for them though.
Monika B: not worth the money, locker rooms are always dirty, machines are often broken for a long time, tiny gym for so many users
Will Day: Dirty. Disgusting. Now even removed blue roll/towel to wipe down machines but leave the antibacterial spray??🤷🏽‍♂️
Ady Simons: Good gym during the quiet periods. The gym isn't big enough or have have enough kit to accommodate the amount of members between 2pm and 8pm absolutely pointless trying to train.
Taiya Jennings: Very good abit pricey tho
Calin Flamind: Decent facilities, been coming here for a few years. No other nearby gym to compete with. They don’t give you a free month if you bring someone, they jast say they will and if they put up challenges in the gym and say you’ll get something if you win, they don’t give you that either.
Gaetano Giglio: I am an old customer, 15yrs customer from day one when it opened and to be honest I can only say that I have not seen any improvements but getting worse every year....
Clyde Wiley: Brilliant And Even If Your Very Unfit It Doesn't Matter As Everyone Is There For There Own Purpose
Damian: After two years of membership it occurred that I am still on a three month notice which was ridiculous and when I gave them one month they started to threaten me and apply charges. I didn’t care and left anyway. Avoid this place!
Evan Hutchings: I have genuinely struggled to cancel my membership and its been going on for two months. And its still not sorted. I went it today and the Asian lady on the front desk was texting on her phone for a good 5 minutes before she saw me waiting at the front desk. I have emailed my cancellation 3 times and the messages just get ignored. I fully expect to get a bill in the post. But I am a solicitor and fully expect this to go legal. Take my advice give this one a miss. I would be ashamed if my company had such poor customer service.
Arundev Puthenpurayil: Very small and congested.
Ashley Moore: A good gym at a fair price. Especially the pool.
Jean Fewings: My granddaughter has swimming lessons there brilliant.Staff are very friendly
Viviane Piscinato: almost everything is good, apart from the shower in the toilet which has a very disgusting floor, glass and wall.

You Fit Swindon: what do users think?
Carol Fear: Disgusting!!! Changing rooms smelt of strong urine !!!
dhruv darji: Kids party venue
Darshan Patel: Great place for swimming, nice pool.
Terry Miles: Nice freindly gym .
A. Baxter: Holiday inn at coate water swindon. Shockingly bad staff, signs up everywhere saying that you can't do anything in the swimming pool at all. E.g, no jumping, no diving, no floats, no inflatables, no snorkels, no mermaid tails, no balls. What are you suppose to do in this leisure swimming pool? Staff with an over developed sense of egos. Go anywhere else!!
Louise Moore: Small but friendly gym and pool .
Gina: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality
Karen Freeman: I visited to watch my granddaughter have a swimming lesson. They were excellent.
Leoncalne: For a hotel gym it's pretty decent and membership isn't overly expensive
ImperiledMetal2 канал Kifun (Антонсаныч): Fresh air, soft bed
ahmad mahmoud: Very small, the pool is not well maintained, staff is not always helpful.
Feranmi Oduwole: Free parking if you're a member of the spirit health club (reason i was there), very clean environment, friendly staff who were more than helpful with instructions and info i needed to be aware of. Overall, very impressed.
Ilona Jakovleva: Very nice swimming 🏊
Daniel Howells: Friendly and slowly being modernised
Mark Deller: Basic but has the key things you need and the staff are all friendly and helpful.
Mike Griffin: Friendy staff 😊

Health Hydro: what do users think?
Myopic Intransigence: Fantastic old building in an awful condition. Dirty, manky, unloved - run into the ground by SBC and Better - grim, grotty, dirty & cold
M C: Been going here for years but since being taken over by 'Better' it seems to have got worse. If you can put up with the new times for activities and the price then its ok.
Missy B: Lovely old building with everything all in one place, gym, pool and Turkish baths, super easy to get to, and several car parks nearby.
Wellington Duggan: Been visiting this place for 35yrs.I feel so fresh N clean when I visit!Totally refreshed when I finish a session in the Turkish bath it's really addictive buzz! The cold plunge is the biggest in town I believe.I always feel brand new when i leave!Looking forward to the refurbishment in 2023/24
yangufk mr: One Receptionist is bit rude and not nice enough
Francis Vertannes: Health hydro is an old victorian building, housing a gym, swimming pool, Turkish baths and shower facilities.I attended the gym today, whilst a bit dated, all the machines worked fine, and there is a side room with free weights. The place is clean, and tidy, whilst being dated, (it is a couple of hundred years old). The staff were very friendly and helpful.I do believe that there will be an upgrade in the near future, so it will be nice to see the changes.
Anthony La Porte: Excellent pool, let down a bit by changing room needing major improvements. Not used the other facilities yet.
Karolyn Schiff-Lewis: The staff were helpful, the pool water was warm and adult swimming well organised. However, the changing rooms are dreadful, many things broken, pool are and the whole facility is outdated and does not fill me with confidence that it is hygienic. I would not want to repeat my visit.
Alex Rodrigues: A wonderful place to begin the first lessons in swimming for kids and youngsters. Wonderful trainers and other support staff always available at your service with a friendly smile and to help you around the facility and answer your queries. Separate changing rooms for ladies and gents with shower 🚿 and locker facilities available. Open at their usual hours without any restrictions. As the weather is getting better can see more kids getting enrolled to enter the swimming world 🌍.
Alan Gilmour: Great swim the grandson, a few lengths to keep us fit followed by a lovely hot shower. Definitely a great local pool.
Benjamin A Owen: I grew up with this place and I swear it looks the same. Rusty, pealing and confused tired interior. Stunning Victorian pool and potential as with most of Swindon. Could do better. Etc.
Sweena Dhillon: I visit only for swimming there. Staff is quite helpful but changing area needs a little refurbishment.
Joan Pawlaczek: Great Aqua aerobics class
Tom woodward: Swimming lessons becoming to overcrowded and staff unable to keep all children supervised and engaged, Not enough staff for the amount of children. No discredit to the staff themselves who are very good and professional.
John Greener: It's a lovely old swimming baths but is looking very tired in places.
Dom Ko: I have to agree with Amal Malenki review. The place is outdated and needs a serious revamp.Parking is a nightmare, luckily we visited on Sunday so parked up in Brunel for free, it's only a short walk.Staff were very friendly and helpful but everything else not so great.Dirty changing rooms, broken toilet seats, broken door locks in the toilets, funghi in the swimming pool, those are only few things we have spotted that definitely need looking into.We will stick to Link Centre in the future
Salma EA: Nice sport center with swimming pool, gym, steam and sauna. No parking though. Very friendly staff
Tanya Daglish: I took my son here yesterday 19/3/22 we just wanted to go for a swim and to show him were my dad used to take us, only to find out that public swimming only on a Sunday for 2hrs well i and my son was so disappointed, I'm disgusted with this as we live in town and with the oasis shut and i don't drive had to get the bus to the Link centre, why is there not more public swimming here
Arjun Vaishampayan: A bit run down but still a very good pool right in the Town centre.
Christina Paton: Staff are always friendly and accommodating, and the fitness classes are always fun and accessible.
Paul W531: The Milton Rd facilities were visited today, Saturday 22 Jan at 0900 by my wife and I. Although the tepidarium and one of the steam rooms was out of commission temporarily and the resident team of locker door slamming clowns was still in bed presumably, along with the braying idiots who tag along with them to spoil our day's quiet relaxation. Overall a pleasant experience.Seriously folks, it's been eight years since I mailed you about the lack of rubber buffers on the locker doors. Available from any good hardware shop.Nothing has changed except the management!

Grange Leisure Centre: what do users think?
mark kennerley: Shame the lights weren't working
Adson Cabral: Management is absolute joke. Please don’t book this if you don’t want to face the disappointment of them telling you that they’ve made a “admin error” so they can give YOUR slot to the “regulars”. If it was jus the one time I would of put it down to genuine mistake but this has been a ongoing issue. Just yesterday we had a slot booked under OUR name but one of their “regulars” who usually block book that slot forgot to extend their their booking; common sense tells me that we should of got the pitch but instead their Manager Sam Williams decides to give to the other group cos he knew them personally. This is just one of the many times their management has unprofessional.
Mehnaj Amin: I would give 0 stars if it was possible. Had booked a football pitch with payment taken, email received. A whole of group of lads ready to come play football, some even moving stuff in their diary so they can attend. Only to turn up and find that it had been double booked. It’s one thing being a one off issue but this has happened before countless times and reading the other reviews also it seems to many people too.Today, we showed the staff member our booking email. He then called up the manager named Sam. Sam had made the call that pitch will be going to the other group and that we were to leave and refund will be issued. They had no evidence of booking as well, so why did they get the pitch you may ask? Well Sam actually knew the other team personally. So his Bias came into play. A bit too professional for my liking! Stay well away from this place, plenty of other pitches in Swindon.I hope Sam gets some sort of consequence for his poor poor actions.
Darren Dsouza: Worst experience ever. This place dosent even deserve a star.We booked a pitch well in advance and had email correspondence to confirm this. Only for us to be told on the day that the pitch had been double booked. They called the manager Sam and asked him about this and he chose a team who plays there regularly with no booking evidence to Thier name and told us to leave the premises and that we would get a refund of our money, instead of offering us an alternative they tried to charge us for using Thier indoor pitch. This is downright favouritism for the managers point as he favoured the people he knows which is a real shame to the business as it not only stops people from booking which is revenue for the business but also tarnishes the reputation of the Grange leisure. Personally I feel the managers behaviour towards customers needs investigating by senior management as this has clearly happened multiple times and is unacceptable. The manager Sam has let his authority get the better of him by thinking he can do anything due to his role without putting the customer first (fundamental to any business).
Ian Cockrill: Great staff, polite and helpful plus the facilities are really comprehensive
Gregor Honer: Please make sure you check the amount you paid on wireless transactions right away or on your bank statement as it won’t be easy to get them to refund the overcharged amount in an acceptable time.Update1: Day 20 and nothing has been refunded even the Stratton Parish Council got involved and was ensured by a Parkwood leisure director that this will be sorted by the 17th Feb. 🤣Update2: I had to open a dispute with my bank today as I lost confidence in Grange Leisure centre to do a simple refund in timeUpdate 3: Day 21 and the refund has finally being issued, I would suggest Grange Leisure to look into their processes as there is plenty of room for improvements on issuing a refunds
Glyn Hatherall: Very good gym with plenty ofmachine's to train on, very well cept centre
Jit S Johal: We have hired the hall twice for family functions and both times we’ve had very good experiences. The staff are super friendly, they go out of their way to make sure you have a good time, and they are super accommodating. I would highly recommend.
Jennifer Mulholland: Was there for a baby shower and managed to get lost. It is very spacious, with lots of rooms, with activities in each of them. It was very clean and tidy.
Jack C: The grange use to be the best pub
Leon Stilet: Started coming to this gym about 2 months ago. I was using the free day passes to use the gym and everything was going fine. That was until I was running on the treadmill a few days ago when a rude lady came up to me whilst I was trying to focus on my exercise and started disrupting me by constantly saying ''excuse me'' in front of other people until I finally got fed up and had to stop my running. Are you not able to consider waiting until a person has finished what they're concentrated on doing to tell them something? And guess what the EXTREMELY important thing she had to tell me that was so life-changing? ''You have to be a member to use the free day pass''.What? Is that what was so important that you had to shout it out in front of other people and embarrass yourself? So it couldn't wait until you saw me exiting the gym which was when you could have told me? You had to rudely and dangerously interrupt me just to tell me that? What confuses me so much is that I had been attending the gym for 2 whole straight months and it was only now they realised this and decided to tell me. Also, nothing was mentioned in the terms and conditions about having to be a member to use the day passes or anything along those lines. Can't believe such inconsiderate people are allowed work in places like this. Disgusting.
Naveen Kumar: Been there only few times now, but the facilities are clean and the staffs are friendly, good amount of parking space.
Kay Farquhar: Done up very nicely out and a nice cafe
Tina Odgers: I'm 42 and I've tried joining the gym 4 times before over the decades and never kept it up. Mainly because I felt self conscious and didn't feel right going. Anyway, 5th time lucky - this community gym is friendly and welcoming. Supportive and motivational - absolutely because of the people who work here.I just need to work on my consistency. 🤣Highly recommend!
Jonathan Harris: Was there for my daughters wedding reception, went very well. Small reception only a few invited guests but great time.
Wendy Evans: A lovely place
Steph H: Booked the hall with bar and use of the soft play area for a birthday party. Despite some staff changes during the booking process which resulted in some communication mishaps, the staff were quick to help us rectify things. And on the day, despite being short staffed due to covid and running two parties at the same time, the staff were very helpful and friendly and worked very hard to cater to everyone. The venue was a great size for what we needed, air conditioned (needed during a current heat wave) access to outside benches and good clean facility’s. Everyone had a great time.
Alex Marshall: Nice leasure centre with good modern facilities and parking
Brian Potter: None of your business
Maire Wood: Thank u for changing your opening times over the weekend! As a Carer it allows me to use the facilities before my Caring responsibilities 👍.I’m a regular user of the gym & prior to the new opening times I didn’t have time to get to the gym.To follow on from my last point why is there a disparity btw weekend opening hours & bank holiday opening times?Thank u once again Folks.M Mood
Jean Fewings: In the field playing football lots of rubbish there

Nuffield Health Swindon Fitness & Wellbeing Gym: what do users think?
Damian Stephenson: DO NOT USE THIS GYM FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY OWN SAFETY!!!If I could rate 0 stars I would !!!Disgraceful staff they’re no help and let other gym members threaten your life !!!Do not choose this gym I recommend any gym apart from this one the staff don’t care about you and have little respectCancelled my membership along with my friends and brothers memberships we stood up for ourself after having our life threatened in the the pool and then again in the changing room straight after being shouted at by staff to leave the pool and then threatened to have our membership took away for reacting to other members in the pool grown men telling us young skinny teens that they’re going to rip our heads off and drown us before then getting in our faces twice and getting no help from the staff other then more threats off being kicked out the gymDO NOT USE THIS GYM FOR TOUR OWN SAFETY!!!THE STAFF ARE USELESS !!!
Sue Sabell: I have just one criticism. I use the pool and like to use the spa pool too. A notice should be put up telling people that it is not fair to all members if they spend more than 20 minutes in the spa pool. I was in the swimming pool a week ago and the same five people were in the spa pool for 50 minutes. Selfish!
Adrien Padayachee: Maybe my standards are just different and I expect more from a gym.If you love being cramped like sardines in a can, surrounded by many out of shape PTs, who spend most of their time standing around staring at people,& socialising (and far less time training others/themselves), then this is the gym for you!!Other pluses:The weights area is far too small for the amount of people during peak times. No WiFi.No TVs in the main gym.
dean alan: Positive:CommunicationVisited for the first time since pre covid times ..very friendly and helped resolve a problem easilyVery well organised, and very friendly staff 👏 👍
Kelly Gama: Positive:QualityGood Place 👍🏻
Paul Devlins Universe: I really like the place.Great facilities, helpful staff, worth the money.Clean tidy doesn't smell bonus. 😎
Garry Drewitt: Positive:Professionalism,QualityLoved this gym sadly just can't afford it anymore
erica fowers: A well equipped friendly gym
Just Me: A good gym, but the TV n Netflix on the screens on cross trainers dont work. The food in the cafe is terrible and the pool is too cold.
john wildish: I was a member for 3 years, It got busier and busier, until I finally had enough and left, In the middle of the day its over 60s heaven and the pool/sauna etc are full, running machines and areas fullish. Forget swimming at the weekend, there's kids swim ( which I used until that got too busy) Swimming lessons that close off 1/4 of the pool and at night its full with everyone who lives in Swindon. It packed, I mean really packed, really really packed.
Mrs H: This can be a really good, clean and friendly gym/pool. Unfortunately over the last 2 months it has become busier and busier. On two occassions the pool has been closed with no notice being sent via email or text. Although staff assure they do this. Several times upon arrival at the pool members of staff have come into pool and sectioned it off for private lessons or lifeguarding. Again with no notice to members. They seem to be very overcrowded. On an average weekday morning there can be over 15 people trying to use the pool. Sauna seems to be broken more than working. Unfortunately because of this I have decided to leave and go elsewhere where it is not as busy, no unplanned closures and use of all spa facilities. I dont think that nuffield is worth the price paid. I think the staff on the front desk could be trained to maybe be more polite to people enquiring. All in all I would not recommend this gym/pool. There are several other places that have nicer facilities in swindon.
Juraj Prascak: Loved it. Nice clean facilities. Dance studio . Amazing gym. There could be power Shower next to sauna shower. Steam room awesome and the sauna as well. Pool is not deep enough for standing up excersises. Also. Could have a view out to the sky and street with one way view mirror so natural light comes from the top of the window . And some nice nature picture near the relaxing area or fish tank near the.
lucio zanoni: Good place for wellness not for hard bodybuilding!!
Lesley White: Friendly staff, clean and tidy. Always welcoming.
Hugo Chapman: Excellent experience! I am member at Reading Nuffield but visited Swindon today, really impressive gym, all the equipment is like new and great range of different weight machines and cardio equipment. Very helpful staff. Changing room and showers super clean. Pool area nice with great sized steam room, only downside was size of a sauna which is small, overall very much enjoyed and looking forward to returning soon!
LeonG 70: Very well equipped Gym. But it is Very crowded better to avoid 4 to 6pm crowd flow, staff are very polite but personal trainers do need some training on addressing gym members.
Koyes Aftab: I understand that you may have to close early due to weather conditions (snow) but atleast let your customers know. So frustrating and very disappointing driving out there only to be told at the door. There's always something with this gym. If it's not the sauna, steam room out of order, no drinking water, or no hot water etc.Give your customers what they pay for.Unhappy customer!
Paul Grey: Nice Gym generally. Clean well equipped and a wide range of equipment. Way to busy sometimes but that said its March and Jan/Feb are crazy in most gyms
Member Nuffield: The swimming pool is always too busy for people to have a good swim, it seems like there are too many members and it is difficult to get booked on classes too. There are only two yoga classes weekday mornings therefore anyone working has no opportunity to experience a yoga class. The timetable is very rigid. The person who organises the rota believes the yoga is not what people want, it is something that is becoming more popular and the club should move with the times

Anytime Fitness Swindon: what do users think?
Chris Atkins: Good equipment for a small gym. Has everything you need for a decent resistance or cardio machines session.Shame there's no large functional space for a crossfit style workout. But you can only do so much with the space.Could do with weights being put away more frequently.
Flórián Vajai: I arrived there about 7Pm and the gym was almost empty, so that was a very good appointment. It was 3 floors, the machines are...okeyish, but the crowded hours you have to wait a lot, because they have 1 piece from everything. The gym was clear and a little bit cold.
Amy Doyle: This gym is really welcoming, the staff are chatty and helpful. The environment in the gym is really upbeat and friendly.Lots of equipment and never to busy.Good value for money.
pete Jenks: great gym, staff really friendly and knowledgeable.always kept really clean and fantastic equipment and classes
fiona collins: Clean but smaller than the Newbury gym. Kit looked well carried for.
Derrick Oyonjo: Excellent multi-purpose gym
Lee Jones: Great gym, excellent facilities, very modern equipment. Also left an item (HRM) at the gym and not living locally, the staff went above and beyond to get it returned to me safely. Superb customer service. Thank you.
Francis c: Excellent gym to work out and disturbed which makes it fantastic. Staff and members are all friendly. The place is always immaculate specially the toilet. Alot of considerate members to achieve this
Gabriel Fuzaro: Great Gym, but staffs, specially the one that seems to be the manager is extremely rude. I was asked to "Shut Up" while training.
Chris Hurly: Tom is a great host and manager. Clean, secure gym with all the facilities you could need.
Jope Rabukawaqa: The amazing Team and Anytime Fitness Swindon, are always ready to assist you in the gym with whatever different type of workouts or training, 100/10 would recommend
George L: Clean gym and brilliant staff
Andrea Hartson: Can not recommend this place enough. I joined over two years ago with absolutely no confidence and with a goal to sort myself out before my wedding.I've joined a few gyms over the years but this one is by far the best.Always a smiley face to say good morning whether that be staff of other members. The gym is well maintained and very clean.Over 2 years later and I now how the confidence to walk in and use any bit of equipment. I reached my wedding goal, am now married but i still go.Lyndsey has been the biggest help keeping me on track, she feels like one of my greatest cheer leaders, always offering encouragement and motivating me to keep going.I have to mention Tom and Ellen- although I haven't trained with either of them they are both always friendly and chatty when i see them. Walking into anytime is like walking into a room full of friends. Keep up the great work guys.
Deepanshu Kapoor: It’s good I can workout anytime it’s 24 hours open
Nik Pugh: I recently joined Anytime Fitness in Swindon having thought about a gym in the local area that would be convenient for me to attend. Anytime Fitness is located in central town with plenty of car parking so was really well suited to my needs. I called in and was greeted by Tom the manager I spoke to him about what I wanted to achieve and he invited me to have a tour of the gym so I could see the setup and what it was like as far as equipment was concerned. One of the personal trainers Patrick showed me around and gave me a very good and thorough tour and immediately I knew this was the right gym for me so I was happy to join up although I could have done a free three day free trial and that would have included a one hour personal Trainer session but it didn't feel it was necessary …I already decided to go ahead with my membership. The range of equipment is absolutely amazing here see the photos in my review for the equipment, it's very extensive it's all in great working order as well. The things I particularly like about this gym are the fact that it's manned 8am till 8pm in the evening and outside those hours access is via a key fob so you can use the gym at any time on any day (24x7). Some of the equipment is from Life Fitness so you have the ability to link your work out to the LF connect app and record your progress which I really like also a lot of the equipment such as the treadmills, bikes, stair climbers etc have screens fitted which give you a visual view of your progress in your work out on those pieces of equipment. This also means that you could for example what U-tube, Netflix, listen to Spotify or watch any number of TV channels if you wanted to. Free wifi is also available in the gym, and there is also a vending machine selling drinks and nutri bars etcThe gym is spotlessly clean and that also includes the toilets and shower areas of which there are numerous. It spread across three floors and there is plenty of space. I haven't been on a single occasion where I felt it's crowded, and I've been at peak times as well as off peak times. I would thoroughly recommend this Gym to anybody particularly those in the Old Town area it's got a very good vibe the members are friendly and the management team and staff are incredibly supportive and helpful to get you on your track to reach your goals. It is possible to book one-to-one personal trainer sessions with any of the four members of staff and I've actually taken this option and it's really really good to have that one-to-one time especially if you need a little bit of extra motivation like myself. My personal trainer is Ellen and and she is truly an inspiration and motivation and has coached me so brilliantly so far.Overall, I cannot find a single thing that is a negative with this Gym and there are so many positives. It doesn't matter what shape or size or level of fitness you are everybody's welcomed, and everybody is equally treated with respect. I was a little overweight hence why I came to the gym to begin with and was worried that I would feel a little intimidated, that couldn't be further from the truth to be perfectly honest it's a very inclusive gym. So in conclusion I'm giving Anytime Fitness in Old Town a top marks review and a score of 11 out of 10.
Toslim Ali: Brilliant place to train, very nice and clean environment, the guys and girls who work there really nice and very helpful, will always see myself being pulled back in through their doors, it's like a second home :)
Ian Aberdeen: Now open
Hannah Beute: Not a bad place, quite small, but I have been when it's very later and therefore quite. I like that the equipment has tv attached to them so you can be distracted while you work out if like me, you are not interested in working out
Priya Mishra: It has everything I need for a workout and it is close to my home.. And yes always clean and staff members is very friendly.
Leon Roberts: Thank for the service while away from home. Clean tidy friendly gym, only bettered by the Truro branch.
Paul Jarrett: Great facilities, friendly staff.

David Lloyd Swindon: what do users think?
Deepesh Singh: good facility but you hardly can book anything... management is inept... busy times half of the swimming pool is used in training for a few... it feels unless you enroll in additional classes you cannot utilise facility fully.. if there is an option don't use Swindon but likes of Bristols are much better..
Lucy Smith: Went in for a tour & was told the membership prices would be emailed to me that night. Had to chase up a few days later via phone. No one called me back just emailed a discount code. Was ready to join but had a question before I did so emailed 2 times & no one has come back to me. Guess they don't want new members!
Riyaad Jondah: Good place but definitely not worth the price. Lots of leisure activities, however for £200 a month you would expect high standards inside, the upkeep of the building is not 100%, toilets are very disgusting. Also having to pay extra for lesson or a trainer is ridiculous when you are already paying so much. Food is also not discounted. My local leisure centre offers more value to me. Only worth it if you are a millionaire or like to waste money.
Julie Titcombe: It was okay. Went for rehab in family pool after major surgery. Reception staff said hello. Nothing remarkable to add. Starting to return after absence.
Vikki Rule: Brilliant gym, nice swimming pool, spa area is also nice. The classes are what sells it for me. Convenient times, and a wide range of different classes. Still here after my renewal, new weights in the studio. So it's nice to see some new kit coming in. Hopefully there will be more.
Matt Jones: Spa and facilities looking a little tired but the people are friendly.
Boubacar s b Toure: 2nd
kelechi meke: David lloyds is an overpriced gym that offers only gym flex members much cheaper rate of 80pound a month and charge the rest working adults 120 a month for using the same gym! Avoid this gym at all cost!
LORD Mark Gill of Chaol Ghleann: Moveology Osteopathy is 5 star. Used it when needed and found it the best around. Recommended highly. Still as good as ever and very professional.
Dilya Emiraliyeva: Very tired place, equipment needs renewing, jacuzzi is in bad condition
John Wyatt: I got robbed at David Lloyd's and they did nothing . All they care about is your money.
PST Energy4life: Really disappointed with the lady on reception today! Did not give a great welcoming to someone who was suppose to join. Completely changed my mind! Feel like some customer service training is needed at the front desk.
Nabil Chouba: Stuff is super nice and all equipment are always in good shape
zydrune batvinyte: I like that they have a nice caffee and sitting area. However, it's very busy with kids and some equipment like rowing machines are out of date.
Jana Neplechova: V zázemí pro bazén brutální zima
AnnabelR: Very clean and well organised
lomep poara: A marvellous establishment where only the very upper echelons on society convene on a daily basis. David Lloyd in Swindon has spectacular staff who do their upmost to keep you fully satisfied.
mandy jones: Gym spa out door pool in door pool cafe. Friendly staff I love it
Daniel Sadjadian: David Lloyd Swindon is a lovely gym. The facilities are a tad old and in need of refurbishment, but everything works pretty well for the most part. There’s much to do: indoor/outdoor swimming pools, spa, indoor/outdoor badminton/tennis courts, medium sized gym, group exercises sessions, personal training sessions, quiet work area, restaurant and more… The pricing is more expensive than most gyms, but the facilities actually work, I can’t say the same about a lot of other gyms in Swindon. Overall great place to exercise 👍
Kevin Frostick: Another good day at the club.Due to a detached retina operation, now unable too any strenuous exercise which is real bummer. So did my first class session since I've joined ab did Pilates.Thoroughly enjoyed it and doing the same again tomorrow along with yoga.At least I'm doing something to stop going mad lol.
Ali Asgor Shohel: Amazing place for exercise
