Marc Adair: Having struggled to decide what I could get my son for his birthday...I popped into W.R.A.G for a browse of current air rifles. Admiring the great selection in front of me and a no pressure very friendly chat from Tony. I went away armed with lots to research. A few weeks later and I'm back...having researched that something 'different' would be needed for that wow factor. I ended up being introduced to Robin and Callum with Tony on PC duties in the back ground. The purchase...? A Brocock Concept XR 0.177 PCP air rifle. Before you knew it Bipods, cases and pellets. A fantastic whole package deal was done and a great buying experience. Ralph Taylor: I went to Wiltshire Rod and Gun as the had the air rifle I was after in stock and only an hour's drive. Sadly the gun did not work out BUT Tony and his team were excellent in helping me resolve the issues I had, took the gun back no problem and organised for two other air rifles I had been considering to be provided. When they arrived I was able to try/shoulder both with Tony adding constructive comments which certainly helped, and I ended up with a gun I was very happy with. Paul Godfrey: Had to take my BSA air rifle in for an issue. They found the issue but could not fix on site, had to be sent for full service and repair. Said it would take approx 2 weeks but i needed a gun for my job, they very kindly lent me a gun whilst mine is in for repair. Cannot thank them enough for this and would recommend them to anyone.

Mechtech Ds: Speaking with Clint and had excellent service. Clint took the time to verify all the details as per the online ad and confirmed the condition of the gun and that it was in stock. I was not able to collect immediately and Clint was happy to hold on to the shoutgun until the collection date in a week or so. I paid up front to ensure the gun was mine. Looking forward to collection this week.

Greatful for the support given, now time to move on to new shooting challenges. Superb family company. Would benefit by having some experience new blood, bring fresh ideas to the table, especially important for the dynamic business, to save becoming stale and trapped in a rut.

Monty Shoots: A long overdue review.1. The people who work on the ground have personality, they care about what they’re doing, and the service level is consistently good2. The layouts vary at least weekly, there’s a practice area, high tower, sporting, Skeet and normally a FITASC hoop. The topography is diverse too3. There’s always something on, they’re trying new things, and always with a focus on making it a great experience4. The cafe is surprisingly high quality and very reasonably priced. The burgers are locally sourced, the have an alcohol license, and they make the best Iced latte outside New England, USA! Come here JUST for the fried breakfast5. The Gunroom is well stocked, a strong variety of game and clay guns. Shotguns and rifles. The staff in here are stellar. Prices are sensible and their cartridges modestly priced6. There’s a meeting / conference area that’s perfect for meetings, family gatherings and medium sized events. Especially with the quality cateringSpecial mention to the owner, who has a strong vision for a place that’s accessible to all. Nailed it
Martin Robinson: Very nice ground a variety of stands only in a beautiful setting. Only thing that lets it down for me is when the gate is closed for bookings this closes off some of the best traps.
