GO Outdoors: what do users think?
Richard Lowe (The Lowemyster): Great shop for outdoor gear and horse riding equipment and riding boots
Di O'Brien: Found what we wanted
robert hammond: Really easy place to get to. Plenty of parking. The store is spacious plenty of helpful staff. Will go again
Anna Carver: Big store with everything you need. Also has a big horse riding section
Sanmat Jhanjhari: Absolutely a brilliant place to find what you may need. A range of variety for your Outdoor activities. Very warm and welcoming staff.Taken one star away due to their old and poor IT systems. The refund/exchange process is painful
Diesel Foehammer: Disappointed,Don't seem to have anything like they used to,and there new shop is also lack lustre
Matt Edwards: Very helpful staff. Great stock and prices
Jon D: Always helpful and friendly staff had exactly what we needed
Alastair Macmichael: Great customer service.
Matt Hilsdon: Rob in the fishing department was an absolute gem, helped me get setup with all new gear and under the budget I’d given him. Loads of friendly advice as well
Derrick Leach: Loved the new store, staff were great
Lynne Horwitz: Excellent shop, lots of choice. Nice staff.
Vicki Clubley-Moore: Go Outdoors has a wide range of outdoor gear. A clean, spacious shop which is well laid out. The staff were helpful and friendly. The prices are reasonable and there is lots of choice. There is a discount card you can pay £5 for and that makes all the prices much much lower, often one item makes it worthwhile.
Paul: Great shop with absolutely everything you need to enjoy the outdoors! Excellent service too from helpful staff, all with great prices! What's not to like?
Keith Anderson: Went to the new store in Swindon great choice of camping, fishing and everyday activities
S W I S: Lazy staff!!Didn't have my size so I asked a member of staff if they had it who replied 'all stock is out on floor' and then she proceeded to stand around doing nothing again.Went online whilst in the store, did a store check for my size there and then, which they had, so bought it, paid for it and went to the collection point in store. Picked it up.
Paul W: Fantastic shop with everything you could possibly need. Knowledgeable staff and friendly environment.
David Thomas: Good place to go if you're looking for outdoor clothing, great staff who know their stuff, plenty of parking and easy to find just off the A419.
Vanmartins: Bizarre business model where you are expected to pay £5 to join a loyalty card data tracking scheme in return for paying the retail price rather than a grossly inflated one. No contest, went to Decathlon instead
Richard Vann: Very smart store. Huge car park. Greeting on arrival. Looking for clothing. Wide choice of brands. However, there was a dirth of "high end" products. Focus now on "low cost" to compete with other High Street offers. Managed to find a couple of T-shirts. So all was not lost. Assistant opened additional till to shorten the queue.
Pat Ambrose: The person I spoke to today was very helpful.

As I decided to pay with my card the 2nd time speaking to what sounded like the boss I asked him how much I owed him. He said £42. WOW that was an increase of £7 when I know what he said when I first ordered it on a deal basis. He then blamed the delivery Man, no way was it his fault. I actually spoke to who I believe was his wife in the afternoon about my delivery n raised the price I'd been charged. I believe it was his Wife who WAS very rude to me n quickly hung up. NOT very good Customer Service n I'm disabled n live alone. Unexceptable the way they both spoke to me

Rude staff they refused my 3 year old to use the staff toilet, luckily a customer came and stuck up for me and said that her daughter was allowed before. So they gave in. Can’t believe how rude the staff are it’s ridiculous.

Argos Swindon Bridgemead in Sainsbury's: what do users think?
Lily: busy all the time. however some code checkers clearly aren’t doing their job properly. Most staff are moody and miserable. Leah with black and glasses on her head, dropped the basket of fruit on the floor instead of nicely putting it. I’m with my elderly grandmother who is in a wheelchair, so it did frighten her. Karen was lovely at the hot food counter, had a bright smile and was polite.
Lakshan Nagaraj: Horrible experience with the store manager. Refused a return just after a day of purchase. I'll never be shoping with Argos again!
Carla Shailes: Easy to access, friendly staff
lee hitt: Great Service and staff
Mohamed Sakr: terrible customer services, especially store manager
David Wain: They don't keep much stock in the shop you are better to order it online then you can pick it up because they will have it delivered to the store. Argos was a lot better when they had their own stores. Now the ones that have moved into Sainsbury's don't keep a lot of items in stock. You would think that not renting a whole building they could keep the prices down but the prices are going up and there is no staff and the staff they have doesn't know anything about the product they sell only what the limited info in the description.
s london: I would have given this 0 stars if allowed. I bought a lawn mower that became unusable after one use spending £120, the manager at argos steadfastly refused a refund or replacement and applied her own story instead of listening to the issues I raised with the design and manufacture of product. I am down £120 and a lawn mower, will never use this store again as the customer service/aftercare is abysmal.
Camel On Wheels: I turned up to the store this morning to return the sound system that was delivered to me yesterday as I didn’t like the quality of sound. Guy who was serving me was very professional. He checked the item and accept return. However dummy me forgot argos card. When I returned with card there was a young lady serving me. As the check procedure had to be done again she opened the box, checked only one secondary item and refused return as this was not what was on the box. She advised me to contact samsung to deal with this. I asked her to open the box fully and get out primery item and the code will match. She refused that obviously didn’t want to serve me any more as she took it as attempts to fraud. When I opened the box for her and show that she is wrong she through everything on the floor and walk away. Another gentleman has served me professionally in next 5 min. He sorry for her saying that she is new. Bit odd as in conversation with her she mentioned that she is a manager and this store belongs to her. 🤣🤣🤣 I’m not gone say don’t go there. Other two gent’s was really professional. I guess this is something you take from home and not sales training in argos.
Ian Bradley (Braderz8): It's a large store and competitively priced these days, and they have some lovely ready meals, and a large choice of products to choose from.
Helen Nassoro: This used to be a great place to buy from but now most of the time it is out of stock both here and nearby.
MrAnakil: Ordered baterries, for collection Got message they are ready. Coming in ID requested ty for wasting my time on saturday.
Dawid Kirstie: Best one for many items
Nathan Williams: Brilliant very helpful
Joshua Wilson: Very quick
Ray Hinson: Good service wide choice of goods. Easy parking
betty kerr: Tonight I had a delivery from ARGOS . The young man (JAMES) it says on my email from Argos was such a lovely young man. So cheerful and such a pleasure . Thank you xx
zahra: I placed my order and payed for everything for next day click and collect and when I drove miles away to get to the store, the people informed me that I could only get 2/3 of my order, which wasted my time. I’m really displeased because this put me in a difficult position.Really really unhappy.
EET: Even though staff was helpful and friendly, there isn't a separate line for Argos so you might have to wait for several minutes just to do something that would normally take you seconds.
Katarina Bielikova: We just tried to collect our order from the argos in Sainsbury's and they wouldn't let us in. Told us to join the massive queue going shopping in Sainsbury's. I understand the point of controlling number of people in store but All we wanted is to collect what we paid for.Its absolutely ridiculous they should have separate queue for the argos collection... no common sence as usual in here.
Paul S: I went over there this morning to make a collection, and the queue to the Sainsburys store was massive. I turned around and got it from another store without queuing. It would be very fair to have a queue just for the Argos store. Like 3-4 people reserved for that store only, from the Sainsburys space.
Lyndsey: Very disappointed with this store,My item was signed for on the 23rd April and we've still not been able to get it ,Went over and was told no it's not there ,

Duncan Clegg: Staff helpful and attentive, shop holds a good range of stock. Parking arrangements awful, we queued longer to find a space than we actually shopped for. Then queued ages to get out.
Nigel Bell: Great shop and well presented, also the staff are well trained, reminds me of when I used to work at the Main shop at Ciren Lakes
Richard Talmage: Not the biggest store but had things in there
Nick Knell: Nice tidy shop although some items seemed expensive. Looked at a hat priced at £70 but couldn't justify it. Ordered on line through different outlet for £58 without going out in the rain. I like to support the shops but begrudge paying over the top.
Jill McCormack: Good choice of all outdoor clothing with good range of prices. Helpful staff in pleasant light surroundings

Asda Swindon Haydon Supercentre: what do users think?
Sebrina barbosa: I have just visited the photo section of this store. never in my life I have been humiliated and have had a racist behaviour towards me. its a shame that people like this bring bad reputation to the company with their poor attitude.
Kayla Savay: Hi the price in custard doughnuts went from 60p to£1.10 I’ve just purchased a pack and 3 doughnuts have come not filled with custard. If you are going to rise the price make sure all doughnuts are filled
Roxanna Ivan: Good place to shop.
Harvey Butler: I was trying to order a pitta and get it heateted up and they said they won’t heat it up and when I asked why the just blaintently ignored me with no reply just becase we wanted a pizza
Oxfordshire Man: We shop here most weeks and get what we need.
lesley garner: The ladies toilet was in a disgusting state today when I visited 12th April at approx 1pm - not what I expected in a supermarket toilet - looked like it hadn’t been inspected or cleaned for quite a while !!!
Luciano: Huge supermarket where you will probably find anything you need. Also a very big parking lot.
Michelle Nokes: Huge huge supermarket need a map LoL
louise kent: Asda Hot cross buns, would assume that, that's what they are, But no get them home and oh look they got cherries in them. Disappointed in asda at least let the customer know what we are buying. 😡
Ash Robbo: I've been trying to speak to Asda and get help with a matter that took place ages ago now but I've been sent on a wild goose chase! All I want to do is receive a refund for being over charged by one of the petrol pumps. I was told to make contact which I did, they told me to go in store which I did, they then told me to go to the pumps which I did, then I was told that I would need to make contact with Asda! - back where I started! I love Asda, used them for the best part of 10 years, I normally love their service but this just highlights a problem regarding petrol pump enquires. This goose chase, along with personal circumstances, means that its been over a year I believe and I'm now worried Asda will tell me that its been too long to receive a refund. It's not a load of money but its the principle. I hate feeling like a company that I use regularly has ripped me off and there's nothing I can do about it. Therefore, my rating reflects this isolated experience and not the business as a whole.
Clare Langdon: Avoid the cafe at all costs, the till area needs a serious reorganising and defining. When our breakfast came it was cold and looked uninviting. I asked one member of staff if she could run my cutlery under water explaining thar all of the cutlery was dirty and she did it and asked another member of staff to check the other cutlery but it was never done. It was the first and last time I shall be eating here.
Jack Downes: Second best asda Walmart I’ve ever visited to be fair. Can’t beat the one in Milton Keynes though. Bletchley big up massive x
Paul Graham: If we need a receipt to exchange electrical goods then don't you think it might be a good idea to point this out when I answer no to the question would you like a receipt?I see customer service is going in the same direction in Asda as it is with the rest of the country, down the drain.
Darren Hardesty: It's asda
Stewart Spiers: Awesome
Elle: Asda has a Beautiful Range of flowers!!!
Stuart McLean: I have been a customer in this Asda store for about four years, recently I purchased a blue light card as I am eligible with my job. I have made fantastic savings in a number of retailers and noticed it could be used in Asda. Unfortunately when I attempted to use the card for the 10% saving I was told I needed my Id to go with the virtual card. In an age where more people are using Apple Pay I didn’t have my wallet with id card in there,.After asking customer services why you would need further Id to verify I was a member, explaining you must send proof you are eligible for the service in the first place she was vague and offered little answers. If we’re going by this policy why wasn’t I asked for ID when I used my Apple Pay bank card. If your going to sign up for a savings club for the benefit of your sales and the consumer might be worth getting with the times a little bit. Annoyed to say the least as I spent nearly £153.00 which would have been a savings £15.30!Edit to the reply: Yeah not really acknowledging the point I made you can’t join the service without proof prior, and your happy to take a virtual bank card (without a form of ID) so what’s the difference?
Instop: It's a good store. Plenty of choice
Keith Anderson: Great place to shop lots of products at good prices does get a little bit crowded at certain times but overall good. Went to return some Yours clothing and staff member Jill helped to get it sorted very quickly many thanks Jill❤️ security staff member Ella also helped to get it sorted. Needed some gluten free bread. But none on the shelf staff member Lester went out back to storeroom and brought a whole load back so we could get the one we wanted well done Lester. 24/2/23 - visited the store again for Gluten Free loaf only to find empty shelves again. However, when we asked a member of staff, Agnelo, he went out of his way to find out if there were any out back. Only 1 brown loaf but I wanted white. Such a shame but we appreciated your help Agnelo. Thank you.
Shirley Waldron: Today again I went to use the atm bank inside asda Walmart orbitol, only to find again only one atm in use, what is going on asda, if this atm fails, then I have no funds to shop for goods in the store, as I'm a cash shopper,!
Lara Brewer: I rushed over to asda on 21/2/2023 at 8pm after visiting another pharmacy for my daughters medication because their website stated the pharmacy closed at 11pm WEBSITE INFORMATION WRONG it closed at 8pm so that's £30 wasted on taxis that I cannot afford right now and don't bother wasting your time trying to phone them because it's an automated message and then they hang up on youIf the option for zero was an option I'd have chosen that !!!!
