Cheron Biggs: As an older bride finding the right style of wedding dress was very difficult when I did find my dress I then had the problem of finding the right person to do the alterations to a chiffon long sleeve dress, I also had a small budget.On searching for local dressmakers on line only a few had wedding dress reviews. CHIC TAILORING had the most.It was with trepidation that I explained what I needed I put on the dress we discussed what I needed and he looked at the dress while I got dressedWe then discussed further it sounded because of the satin lining and layers of chiffon that the top of the dress had to be virtually remade, to say I was worried was an under statement.The price was very very reasonable in fact cheap and leaving it on the Friday I was told I could collect on Tuesday.I was worried about how much work for so little money.When I collected my dress I tried it on WOW WOW WOW it was perfect amazing workmanship I could not believe this standard of workmanship and price all in a few daysBridal shops charge a ridiculous price into hundreds and take months so swindon BRIDES take your dress to CHIC TAILORING for an amazing job amazing prices and you don't have to wait months and hope your dress will be ready in timeI know where I will be taking my repairs and alterations in the future I highly recommend CHIC TAILORING Commercial Road Swindon

I would give 10 * if that was an option.As he had done such a god job the first time, I didn't hesitate to take other items to him.I took in two pairs of trousers that were lined, that needed the seams fixed. A blouse that the cuff stitching was coming undone. A couple of net curtains that needed altering. Plus I wanted zips put into 3 sides of a quilt cover. He is very skilled and versatile.His stitchig is perfect, there is no evidence of what he has altered. Plus his prices are very reasonable.I had curtains turned up. He did a great job, with curtains being straight and hang perfectly.

I wasn't really sure what to expect, and had tried on dresses at a local shop where they tried their best to tell horror stories about Wed2B, I knew they were doing it deliberately but it did plant the seed of doubt.The Wed2B staff were so lovely from the moment I walked in, they served me and my troupe immediately. It felt very personalised, but it was also such a nice vibe watching other brides trying on theirs in the sort of open plan dressing area. And most importantly, I found my dress!

It sounds cliché but I genuinely felt like a princess, the dresses are beautiful and the decor is stunning. My best friend came with me and lives nowhere near Swindon but said afterwards that she is going going to come to Trousseaux for her wedding dress next year because she loved the experience that much. I would recommend every bride to come to Trousseaux Bridal.

The team made me feel really comfortable, took the time to take down my details and understand what I was or wasn't looking for, and had so much expertise. They knew exactly what to pick for my body shape and style, and all of the dresses were beautiful. My biggest problem was choosing between which dress to go for! A big difference to another shop I'd visited that morning, in which I found nothing I liked. The dresses are reasonably priced and it was a treat to be able to try on dresses that were close to my size instead of 4 times too big! Thanks a lot Trousseaux, can't wait for the big day now!
