Carol Lucraft: Had one of the best meals here. The menu was varied, however with an Asian influence..We had a meal for 4, all our dishes were fresh, delicious and potions were generous. The staff were very freindly, and service was great.. great value for money..
Julie Maddox: Had a very good menu, lots of choices. Had chicken tikka as a starter which was lovely, the homemade onion chutney is really nice. Then had Himalayan lamb chops which were very disappointing. They were 90% bone and 10%meat. Would not have them again. Think 16 pounds is expensive for the amount of meat you get.

Paul Curd: First visit since the new owners took over, really enjoyed it. Bar staff friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. We shared some Vegetable Momos to start then I had the Saag Chicken. I order that dish fairly often when I eat out and it was one of the best I’ve tasted, very tender chicken and the sauce was delicious. Great to be able to get food this good in a pub. We’ll definitely be back, thank you! 👍👍

The Dockle Farmhouse - JD Wetherspoon: what do users think?
Lee Cook: Food is reasonable and price is reasonable
aaron knox: Cheap drinks cheap food. Food is pretty good for the money tbf.
Dorian Grey: When are they going to build one of these in my home town so that I don't have to spend so much of my disability benefits travelling here every day! Ps love this place, may I move in?
Dave Lane: I've just been here for lunch for the first time ever, I was surprised to see how big the place is, it looks small from the outside, customers can park free for the first 3 hours and then you have to buy a ticket, there are plenty of tables, so you have no trouble in finding a seat, food can be ordered from the bar or via the app ,I had a burger and chips and it arrived hot and delicious and didn't have to wait too long, for afters I had apple crumble and ice cream, following by a nice glass or 2 of thatchers cider, there is a huge garden outside with plenty more tables and seating and room for children to run around, my only complaint was that the place could do with a refurb,I forgot to add that the staff are friendly and helpful,
Oxfordshire Man: Nice place, gets very busy early evenings, food is tasty and at a good price. We enjoyed our time here as a group of 12.
Linda Harris: Always a good meal cheap drinks.Good place for a get-together
Andrew Nell: A Very large Wetherspoons pub with a big car park. You are allowed 3 hours free parking. If you are planning on staying longer you must buy a ticket at the Machine and enter your car registration number.
Kevin Bourton: Very busy but good atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Food wasn't totally warm when it arrived to my table but staff very nice and got warmed food afterwards which was tasty
cp dickinson: Excellent service fast clean and good food
Colin Oakley: Reliable dining at excellent price
Donna Hope: Awful food, had a Wiltshire ham and cheese panini, it was a large ciabatta roll, with ham that appeared to have been cut with a microtome and appeared to be 3cm by 4cm if that, some cheese, I think it had been microwaved, you had to pay £1.30 for any salad. Will only have a breakfast here in future.Coffee used to taste good, now it is tasteless, like boiled h2o.
penny Dunne: Lovely food, good atmosphere and fairly priced. As always
Daniel Martin: Can't beat a dockle breakfast
S TG: Serive was fast and friendlyThe environment is great. This place is quite huge and there is outdoor sitting in the garden so finding a table wasn't difficult.Food was served hot, and the chicken wings we ordered were delicious. The pizza and cheese burger was okay. The price for food seems fair for the service and food. And, Parking is free for 3 hours. The only reason for 4 stars was the toilet, which was a little bit dirty but usable.Overall, I would definitely recommend it.
Peter Snipe (2E0WHT): Good prices for food and excellent for drink. Food is nice. Venue is much bigger than the road frontage suggests. Staff are polite and there is lots of parking available.
Jason Reeves: Great pub and drinks very reasonable priced compared to other pubs
Stefan: Friendly staffLoads of tables available inside and outside3h free parkingSame taste as everywhere elseKids friendly? Not really...
Denise Hunter: Love the food and staff are lovely. X
Piotr S: Specious inside. Big garden. Friendly staff. Cheap food and drinks compare to other pubs
Len Lewis: Always good value and fast service. Parking and garden excellent
Whyatt Twerp: I have been a patron of this establishment over the last couple of years ,the staff are generally friendly. Recently, I was treated appallingly by a sub manager, Charrelle, and now I will no longer attend this public house . I complained to JD Wetherspoons HQ, and they simply fobbed me off , taking no action! My advice is just AVOID🙄

Meal booked for 1pm and all pre ordered served at 1.45 ,no sauce on prawn cocktail ,all roast vegetables so hard could not cut let alone eat, yorkshires black, brussels so over cooked they were white instead of green, UGH. Then asked us to pay for a pudding which we had prepaid for ,this was the straw that broke our back we left after complaining to staff expressing our disgust. What a waste of money this was DO NOT GO HERE . Does not even merit this one star. Beware

Gemma Fry: In response to your reply; ‘mum decided to leave too’ yes I did, obviously! I’m hardly going to stay somewhere that 1) has been incredibly rude to my daughter and family members, and 2) leave my daughter unaccompanied. What else was I supposed to do?You also state ‘the father of the child actually stayed at the function’ did he really? Amazing, as he wasn’t in attendance! He was at home with my younger child who we thankfully didn’t bring to your very unfriendly establishment. Why are you lying? And why are you also not addressing the more serious matter of DISCRIMINATION AGAINST A DISABLED PERSON??She was told she was a ‘fire hazard and had to leave’ At least 6 people heard the lady state this and even when asked to repeat what she said (as we couldn’t believe what we heard) she commented ‘yes that’s right, you are a fire hazard and can’t stay’ This is totally unacceptable . The fact that you have overlooked this point now on not only mine but other peoples reviews, says a lot!________________________________________Attended a private function on Good Friday. Not only we’re the staff incredibly rude, couldn’t provide their licence to show us that my daughter wasn’t allowed on the premises (something I have NEVER heard of at a private function) but then told my sister in law that she wasn’t allowed in the function room due to her being disabled. WOW!! Never have I witnessed discrimination against a disabled person before. And to state on a review below that she left on her own accord is a lie. She was made to leave after being told she was a ‘fire hazard’ if she left on her own accord like you said, why the need to send in security??Absolutely awful place. Emails have been sent to management and I really do hope you take the discrimination against a disabled person seriously and I think training of your staff of such issues should be carried out immediately.
Nigel Robinson: Went to a private function on Good Friday and the manager made a disabled lady on crutches who was mobile leave the function as she was told she was a fire hazard .She did not leave of her own accord but was ordered out security then stood on the door so she could not return.I thought this behaviour was illegal in todays society Will not returnMust disagree with your answers to mine and other comments about this incident either your memory is faulty or your are lying to cover up your actions The disabled lady did NOT leave of her own accord but was told to leave by YOU as you stated that she was a fire hazard this was witnessed by many people who all will swear to this.I did not say she was escorted out by security you said that BUT you had them lined up by the door in a very threatening Manor it was not to stop the younger girl getting back in it was just intimidation stop telling lies own up to what you did discriminated against a disabled person.
Paulemes Emes: I had quick and effective customer service by the bar staff member name JessService: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Jack Griffiths: Went for a meal with my partner which was lovely and the service from Jess was top notch 👌🏼
Rhian Amos: Unfortunately not a great experience. Some parts of the roast were amazing but other were awful i.e the veg and cauliflower cheese. Some of the staff members were also extremely put out to bring refills and even a tad rude when talking to us.Beautiful building and interior so it's a shame.
Martin Rogers: Stayed the night, gorgeous bed so have a very good sleep.Didn't eat so can't comment but had a few drinks which were very nice, busy last night which speaks for itself, definitely recommend. 😀Rooms: Excellent bed

Vicky Bellinger: Happy Staff, Great Food, nice clean pub. We had Christmas dinner here and the food was great, we were not rushed and all the staff were in a festive mood. We had are son who is 6 with us and he loved it to. We played Uno between the course. Well everyone
Adam Marshall: Great food, quick service, me and my partner thoroughly enjoyed the 12-3 lunchtime menu :)
Patryk Cekus: We came into the pub and asked Alex if he would be able to put on the Eurovision. He was very happy to help and ensured that it was at the right volume for us.
Christine Grant: Excellent service and friendly staff
Harri Dear: Lovely pub! It's dog 🐕 friendly, serves amazing mac n cheese 🧀 and runs a genuinely hilarious pub quiz 🤣. Ps; Some of the tables have snakes and ladders painted on top, best way to decide who buys the next round 😆
Kelly Harrison: Great selection of food at reasonable prices, I particularly like the option of choosing 3 starters as a sort of tapas for my main rather than a big meal. Children’s menu is very good value for money and vegan options are available too which is great for my lactose free child, especially as he loves pizza!Food was speedy, we didn’t have to wait long at all and always super hot! Staff always friendly and polite! Decor and atmosphere really nice, modern and clean.
D B: Had Fishfinger Sandwich and San Miguel. The beer tasted a bit stale or could have been the draught lines, not pleasant but I didn't complain. Sandwich was pretty good. Everyone was friendly and served quickly. Looks like a good place for pub grub, would go again
Simon Brooks: Lovely local and great food! The view of the canal makes this place
Martin Drury: Very accommodating, food and drinks delivered speedily by friendly and attentive staff.

lisa jackson: Great staff, great food and great atmosphere with the locals.

Ashley Hillan: Been a few times lately for food with the family. Food has been lovely and came out fairly quickly. Always nice when Alex is there as he’s always happy and smiling. Great with everyone of all ages.
Elaine Covey: Friendly staff. Food is good, nice, relaxed atmosphere.
Steph George: We waited 45 minutes for our mains however our staters came out 40 minutes after we had our mains and we’re burnt. No one told us there would be a wait and why would you serve the main before the starter.
Kayla Hill: Service was very slow, staff weren’t very polite and didn’t have great customer service. The kitchen staff missed 3 of our meals from our table and had to wait 1hr 15 minutes for food. A day later and I have a bad belly and diarrhoea. Very unpleasant…
Gina Dearing: Staff are lovely, really great atmosphere and plenty of space to move. Really good place if you have doggies too
Stacey Ball: Amaizng place really good for family and children
Darren Jones: Great food and atmosphere

She was so accommodating, couldn't do enough for us, kept in contact with me for the arrangements to ensure everything went just as we wanted. I cannot thank them enough, the hospitality was brilliant, Its just a fantastic location for this type of event. Highly Recommended !!
Swindon Podiatry: Despite a negative review this pub is my cheers bar. Both Tracy and Lucy have made this pub a place that a lone female can come and have a drink. Both these ladies run a pub the way it should be and make all welcome. They also host a fab quiz night!
Liz Morrison Hannah: Great pub love Tracy she is a wonderful landlady who really makes an effort with her customers. Lucy is also great and a brilliant host. The previous review is malicious ex employe
