Park Farm Campsite is a wildlife haven - it's part of an organic dairy farm spread over 250 acres of peaceful Wiltshire countryside 10 minutes’ drive from Royal Wootton Bassett.

A stay here will give you something of a glimpse into proper farming life: around 120 cows are milked twice daily, and you’ll be able to see them and a small herd of Belted Galloway beef cows going about their life in the neighbouring fields. A small flock of chickens live here too, so you can buy fresh eggs on site for a fab farm-style breakfast.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Quite and very clean area. Very clean toilets. I highly recommended this place for family with children, old people or people with dogs.

The main field is quite uneven ground and sloping on most pitches, which made it difficult to find a decent area to pitch the tent.

Also every pitch has a large fire 'bucket' area, and for the evening i was there a large majority of the pitches had a fire at the same time (between 6-9pm). Personally this lead to the field becoming unpleasantly smokey, and a quick change of wind direction can mean that your tent is filled with smoke. This may not bother some, but i felt maybe a separate area for a communal fire could be more appropriate - which means there could be a larger area for people who wish to spend time in a smoke free area.

Campsite is nice and quiet, pitches are spread apart with plenty of room, toilets immaculate, fresh eggs available and lovely views, very well priced, 10/10 would stay again

Everything. Having only started camping again this year. Really enjoyed our stay. The site was huge with not many pitches. Lovely view. Clean toilets. Allowed campfires. Would have happily stayed another night if work didn’t mean we had to leave. Much preferred it to larger sites that allow caravans and your all squashed together.

How peaceful the site is ..I really rate the fact there are limited spaces to allow you some space and peace from other campers...although everyone was friendly!

The compost loo was one of the best I've seen for comfort! The view in to the valley was gorgeous. We slept outside on the floor to watch the mentor shower for a while! Just perfect! There's also an honesty box with local produce:)

Walking in the forest is the perfect way to get some fresh air and explore some of Wiltshire's most beautiful landscapes.

There are a variety of surfaced and non-surfaced paths and tracks within the forest. Make sure to keep your eyes peeled for some of the forest's ancient trees, you don't know what you might stumble upon.

Located south of Marlborough, West Woods is a very beautiful former ancient woodland site.

The woodland becomes very popular in late spring due to the fantastic displays of bluebells which carpet the forest floor in certain areas.

There is a good network of walking trails including an easy access route for you to explore. Please help us protect the forest by only cycling on stone-surfaced forest roads and bridleways.

Planted in the 1990s on an ex-agricultural site, Nightingale Wood is a new community woodland that supports a large variety of wildlife, especially birds.

If you are into bird watching, make sure to visit the wood with your binoculars on hand. You never know what you may spot!

Stop by the woodland for a picnic, choose from three easy access trails for a peaceful outdoor walk or explore the trim trail play equipment, funded by the Great Western Community Forest project.

Just west of Swindon, Webb's Wood is home to a variety of habitats, making it ideal for bird watching and nature lovers.

Explore the wide open areas with your four legged friend, or take some time for yourself within the peaceful broadleaved woodland.

Home to 2,500 different species from the far corners of the globe and 5 national tree collections, Westonbirt is the perfect place for you to escape, relax or have an adventure! Take a journey up into the canopy on the STIHL Tree Top Walkway, stop by the café for a tasty treat or see if you can spot the Gruffalo!

Our 52 pitches are set amongst beautifully laid out grounds with mature shrub beds separating the site into bays. All pitches are 50% hard standing and 50% grass and are easily accessible. Each pitch has an electric hook up and access to free wifi.

Blackland Lakes was established in 1984. It is situated in Wiltshire, in beautiful countryside close to the Marlborough Downs, secure, well away from busy main roads, secluded and generally peaceful.


The 15 acres comprises 6 tree lined camping paddocks and three small lakes, two for coarse fishing and one as a nature reserve for wildfowl. There are 180 pitches for Caravans, Campervans, Motorhomes and Tents, 130 with electricity and 15 hardstanding, fully serviced ' Premium Pitches'.

4worldlovers: Welcome to Little Owls Campsite in the beautiful Vale of Pewsey in Wiltshire. We are a family run campsite with three generations living on site. We opened the campsite in August 2012, in time for our own wedding reception and have been slowly growing our business alongside raising our two boys. John still has a “proper job” during the week so Liz is the main point of contact on site. Mum Vera keeps the chickens under control & our boys Theo and Ben are growing up to be excellent at customer service! We’re also lucky enough to have some great extended family members and friends who back us up at busy times.

We will be opening once again on the 1 April 2023 and look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful site in rural Wiltshire.
