I am an ITEC qualified holistic massage therapist and I am fully insured. You are assured of high standards of care and respect at all times.

I have had success in treating clients who have chronic pain (pain issues persisting in excess of 3 months), and my repeat clients have found that massage has proved beneficial in the following areas:

Back - £25 (neck, deltoids, trapezius, rhomboids, lower back, lumbar, sacral and glutes)

In short, yes. To the extent that it 'works' depends on one main thing: massage is all about body and mind, and those who I find benefit most from massage, are those who have the ability to relax readily. When you relax, your muscles start to lose their residual tension and they become more flexible and may be worked on with less pressure.

I have found success in combining manual massage movements with the heat of hot stones and the percussive therapy of the Thumper percussion massager.

Before the massage, I will ask you about any injuries or other conditions that you may have, including areas of tightness or pain, allergies, recent medical procedures and any medication that you may be receiving.

You can also tell me if you have a preference for light or firm pressure in massage and the types of massage you have had previously, if any.

After the consultation, I will tell you how to lie on the table - face up or face down, and how to drape the towels and then I will leave the room while you get ready. You will tell me that you are ready before I enter the room again.

You are very welcome to bring a friend or family to sit with you during the massage treatment.

Please note that I am a masseur, or male therapist. People often appreciate a masseur to perform their massage as a properly trained masseur who is willing to perform deep work can offer a larger spectrum of pressure with less reliance on elbows to perform deep tissue work. This makes the massage more comfortable for the client while providing a beneficial treatment.

4worldlovers: Eden Wellbeing is owned and run by Allie Maisey, an experienced teacher and Palliative Care Complementary Therapist of over 25 years. During that time, Allie spent 13 years teaching Health & Social Care and Complementary Therapies at New College, and for the past 15 years and still currently teaches Complementary Therapies as well as providing Treatments to patients at Care Organisations such as Ashgrove House, and Argyll House. As well as having a great deal of practical experience, Allie has studied multiple Palliative Care and Cancer (Oncology) courses so therefore has an in-depth knowledge of the advantages that Complementary Therapies can have in our lives and the improvement they can give to our health and well-being. Allie is a member of SATCC (Standards Authority for Touch in Cancer Care) and currently works alongside MacMillan Personalised Care Team to provide therapeutic massages within their Wellbeing days and "Take Control" events.

In order for us to keep our prices low, it is necessary for us to receive a deposit of 50% of the full treatment cost before a booking is confirmed. If you wish to cancel and can give 24 hours notice, this amount can be transferred to a different appointment (if available), otherwise the deposit will be lost.
