Rusland Cookery School: what do users think?
Dean Turner: John is a fantastic tutor and I highly recommend him and his courses
Julie Bridgeman: Positive:ProfessionalismCourgettes, potato, cheddar soup. Great recipe tip, perfect time of year to start soups and using your fresh garden veggies.Yummy and filling idea.
Julia A: Four of us shared a birthday cooking session and loved every minute of the experience. We enjoy our food and cooking and John had prepared a fabulous 3 course menu along with a session on how to chop vegetables properly with good knives! John was helpful and professional - we wanted to eat the food later at home so he designed the day so that each course was prepared up to the right point for us to finish at home. We felt we were in a professional kitchen (with the obligatory scolding when we got it wrong .. which we all did at some point!) and we laughed all afternoon. We came home with all the food and a booklet containing the recipes for future use. Thoroughly recommended.
helen baker: Kids been coming here for years - love it. John is a great chef tutor and classes represent great value.
steve0pilkington: Thoroughly enjoyed the Italian class! John is a great tutor - knowledgeable and hilarious! Highly recommended!
Matthew Harrison: I treated my girlfriend to an artisan bread evening as a belated birthday present this week. We were lucky that it was just the two of us with John; he was very welcoming and exceptionally down to earth. We had a fantastic evening, which seemed to fly by, and we also learnt loads. The best thing was probably the haul we took home though!John has taken all the precautions given the current situation, which would be enough to put anyone at ease.We would thoroughly love to go back very soon and we couldn't recommend John enough!
rachel webster: Great fun and fabulous food 😍
Wiggy Felstead: I bought a fine dining evening course for my boyfriend and he loved it. The chef was very friendly and welcoming and a great teacher, very knowledgeable. Thank you!

Amanda Murray: If you are thinking of a team building event with a difference, then the Food Works Cookery School nr. Cheltenham is just the place to go. A fun filled cookery day for all the team to work together learning new culinary skills, or polishing up old ones. The day comprises of meeting the friendly Head Chef Dean and the rest of the team, who are as equally delightful. Dean provides the tutorial and guidance, to enable you and your team to prepare and cook a fabulous meal to sit down and enjoy on the day. There are various menus of choice to prepare and cook from British, Italian, Thai, Indian and many others. The price per person is very reasonable. I also learnt they offer cookery classes to Joe Public too so not only Corporate.Harriet was exceptional, and helped considerably during the planning stages – thank you 😊Would have no hesitation in arranging another team building event here 😊 I will definitely be returning, the onion bhajis were absolutely amazing like nothing I have tasted before 😊A Murray

Oxygen Marketing: Foodworks is a perfect venue for our corporate events and has hosted our Oxygen Hub seminars on a number of occasions. The beautiful barn is light and airy with lovely views from the large windows, there is a fantastic chill our area on the mezzanine floor and a pretty herb garden with BBQ area through French doors from the main area. Harriet is a fantastic hostess providing fresh coffee, teas and yummy treats Foodworks is a great space for any event. Thank you Team Foodworks for making our events such a huge success.
Chris Chalk: Three of us attended the Italian Cookery class on Saturday. It was great fun in a lovely setting, well run by a happy, friendly team. Erin was an engaging teacher and we came away with plenty of hints and tips. Will be back for more courses I am sure even though we are not local.
Debbie Rogers: Ridiculously fabulous food and evening! Thanks so much Dean and Lucinda
Ken Skehan: Fascinating to watch a professional chef at work, and to receive his insight about making great food. Chef Dean cooked four dishes whilst explaining tips and process in his friendly and engaging manner, whilst glamourous assistant Lucinda ensured all ran incredibly smoothly. There was a bit of interactive fun too - we got our hands dirty preparing the fishcakes and dim-sum mixes for cooking, but the real star was the food itself. Fantastically tasty, made from scratch with fresh ingredients only and enough for seconds all round on every dish. Although the courses aren't cheap, I thought it great value for the combination of learning, fun and food to eat. Go hungry!

Nathalie Rabindran: Set in the beautiful Cotswold hills this place is a gem! We were greeted by friendly, happy staff and served real coffee and homemade treats on arrival. We did the Thai cooking class, with authentic ingredients and taught by someone who had genuinely lived in Thailand, hence talking a bit about the culture and her experience of learning Thai cookery. A very relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy our self made lunch and a glass of wine. We definitely recommend this place for any occasion. Thank you Foodworks for an amazing day! We'll be back. 😊
