The Bakers Arms: what do users think?

kalvin baker: It's a great place to go weather for a night out or a good lunch I would recommend the bakers to anyoneVegetarian options: Need to be a few more options

Eddie Teddie: What a pub for a roasty, came in unannounced asking for a roast since I’ve been missing my mums, got me straight in and sat down with my drink in hand. Lovely chap next to me made me feel comfortable since I was on my own. After 5 mins food was straight infront on me nice and hot, the pork has to be one of the best I’ve had, potato’s were crispy and Gravy was plentiful, carrots where nice and soft and Yorkshire was quality. I’ll definitely be back in for one in the near future!!!!

The Sir Daniel Arms - JD Wetherspoon: what do users think?

Kris Davies: Some what decent pub, service was good. Food lacked taste and was cold. Would of actually liked my food to be hot.Next time I visit Swindon I won't be visiting here after a train journey.Vegetarian options: Has a basic menuDietary restrictions: Mentions that on menuKid-friendliness: LimitedWheelchair accessibility: Easy access

Mark J: Have been here before for a beer, but did not review on previous visit.A large two story branch on the northern side of the town centre. A more modern branch inside and out than The Savoy. The pub was quite busy when I visited, and had to find a table in the upstairs area.Music is played in the evening, which is a rarity in Wetherspoons. In addition to The Savoy, another branch that does the good value 'Top Plates, Low Rates' deals on selected items. On this visit I opted for The All Day Brunch and a pint of Titanic Chocolate and Vanilla Stout - one of the March Wetherspoons Festival Beers. As with Savoy, a decent range was available. The total cost of food and beer was a very reasonable £6.44.Food was well presented and cooked, no complaints with the beer.I really cannot fathom why this branch is being closed, it was fairly busy on my visit and Swindon Town centre is fairly large. It is also more convenient for the train station.Although I do like visiting Spoons branches, I do find their closure policy utterly bizarre in many cases. What still isn't grasped, although the pub is not as busy as they would like, it is likely still one of the busiest pubs in town.Hopefully sense will prevail and this branch will he saved from closure.

The Dockle Farmhouse - JD Wetherspoon: what do users think?

David Bilboa: Great garden for adults and kidsVegetarian options: Good vegetarian optionsParking: Lots of free parking

Lou Ise: .My daughter has a curry, which was nice enough and I had a jacket potato with a chilli topping. In all honesty I would have traded half of the jacket for another scoop of chilli. There was no where near enough which made it quite dry. What I did have was tasty enough. I didn’t say anything at the time as we were in a rush and no one asked.I would visit again, but I’d order something else.

penny Dunne: Lovely food, cooked well, and quick to arrive. Good atmosphere, and fairly priced. Great friendly service. As always.Wheelchair accessibility: All on one floor, including toilets...

Krystyna Bartoszewska: 30 of us came at very short notice with each person choosing a different meal and they coped admirably and with a smile on their faces. The food was very good and the place is huge with plenty of seating available. We had previously been to the cinema in Greenbridge so this was just across the road and very handy. Staff and service were very good. I had the scampi and chips but others seemed to be happy with their choice of food.Vegetarian options: There were various options availableDietary restrictions: There were various options availableWheelchair accessibility: It is all on ground level from what I could see so should be ok for wheelchairs

The Runner: what do users think?

Natalie Easton: Delicious food, attentive but not overbearing staff. Relaxed atmosphere.

AnnabelR: . Mum ordered the calamari. The starters took some time to arrive, but when it was revealed that the chef had prepared the calamari gluten-free, especially for me, the delay was understood and completely forgiven. Any coeliac will know how rare it is to enjoy a plate of calamari. It was delicious. Mum had to order herself another plate of gluten calamari, which came quickly. For our mains, we shared the halloumi salad and pan-fried salmon. Both plates were cleared. I especially enjoyed the bursts of sweetness from the diced dried pineapple and the crunch of the seeds in the salad. For pudding, I tried their Indian carrot pudding. It is something I'll definitely be having again. The coffee was also very nice.We had a wonderful experience, the staff, the space, and the food all top-notch. We have plans to return next week. I'm very much looking forward to it.

The Wichel Inn: what do users think?

Richard Reavley: and I have to say I was very surprised. Cooked amazingly well and presented impeccably. 5 stars to the chef. For the price, I didn’t think it would be much to write about….but here I am. Thanks to all the staff for making us feel very welcome. Everyone had a great time. There is only 1 minor point I would like to make and that is the area where the kids can hang out and play/draw etc….could do with a bit of a clean as it is the main through way to the loo, but only a minor. Our little one has spent many hours playing with her friends in the pub and have not been met with any issues form staff and guests. Thanks wichel inn.

Joy Hunt: The lady at the bar that showed us to our table was very friendly & helpfulThe food was good except I’d have expected salad garnish with my chicken burger but didn’t get anyDesserts were fantasticParking: It wasn’t busy so plenty of spaces
