Swindon Marriott Hotel: what do users think?
Radha Neti: Perfect if you are visiting Cotswold. AONB is 30 minutes away. It has a cool restaurant with nice selection. Breakfast has several options, so everybody has something to choose. Staff is very helpful. Clean rooms. Also has Gym and Swimming pool. Definitely recommend to friends and family.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Kiran Oddiraju: Enjoyed our two nights stay at the Delta hotel by Marriott. The best part was the swimming pool and gym facilities and the breakfast. The staff are amazing, always smiling and polite. The buffet breakfast was fantastic, the smoked Salmon was the highlight. Plenty of parking spaces available here. There were so many varieties to choose from including fresh fruit. Overall I would rate 5/5 for the stay and service.
Valerie Lowes: Rooms need updating and housekeeping standards were quite poor. However, reception and restaurant staff offered excellent customer service. Good breakfast.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Marius CHIRITA: Not necessarily bad hotel, but quite old and you can see the age all over inside the rooms. However rooms are big and the bed are comfortable. Very good and polite staff at the reception and bar/restaurant. The indoor pool was closed due to some works.
Mike Hindson-Evans: A solid four. Easy access and good carpark. Comfortable rooms, good bar and a very acceptable restaurant. This was not our first stay and we shall definitely be back.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Lesley R Evans: Once the feather free room was put right it was a goodRooms: Good size but shower shield needs to be larger. Bed was comfortable Overall a good stay.Food & drinks: Good selectionof food and drink. Service was excellent worth a visit
P Thompson: Friendly staff, nice room, restaurant & pub well-appointed. Air conditioned, which is a must during warmer months. Breakfast buffet well worth the price. Had a special request for foam pillows (default is feather) and staff bent over backwards to accommodate. Thank you!
Pladmir Vutin: Mid
Ethics Gradient: Fantastic customer service on check-in from a lovely woman called Valley. Walls are a little thin and the decor a touch dated but clean and smart and well priced. Free parking a bonus and the restaurant breakfast was good. I would definitely return in the future.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Great value …More

Alexander Stewart: Newly refurbished lobby, looked nice. The rooms and corridors haven't been updated but they're nice.Paid £80 for the night and it was a reasonable value.Walkability: Can walk to town from here
Dean Cockburn: Room fine no problem at all, breakfast amazing really good. However the clientele that is has staying there at this moment ruins this hotel, my three nights were ruined by noisey rude immigrants I called reception to politely have a word as I was working long 12 hour days but unfortunately they could not control them I would love to say I slept for longer than 2 hours but I genuinely would be lying. I will not even think about staying here again until this issue is sorted.
david curtis: Hotel was great, food great, staff great. However be warned this hotel is over run with migrants awaiting asylum. So the British tax payer pays full price whilst these lot get everything for free. Be warned it’s crawling with immigrants 24th Jan 2023.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Sharon White: Friendly attentive staff .. perfect locationGreat breakfast buffetRooms: Clean and comfyFood & drinks: Great selection
Lyn Bourne: Great rooms nut restaurant service very slow and too many errors. Shame.Rooms: Good layout with bath. Water not as hot as could be.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
martin crompton: Special occasion for the wife, spent the extra money and went for a suite, a lot of money for us. On check in we got the Marlborough Suite on the 4th floor, I'm not going to say anything about the residents on the 4th floor, but there was a security guard posted on the floor, and what looked like an eviction from the roon opposite when we got back to the room. We had kids on go carts in the corridor, kids playing football, etc. Not what we expected! The room itself was nice, a few things that you don't expect when paying for a Suite, only 1 bathrobe, extra fans not working, back missing from TV remote, 1st World problems I know, but more is expected of the Marriot.Health club is not as good as it looks in the pictures, cracked tiles, only 3 loungers. We had dinner on site, food was good, but the tables were not Marriot standard, scuffed, marked, battered, just throw a table cloth on!Breakfast was good, lots of choice.Biggest plus point was the staff, a really great group of people and a credit to the brand.

Hazel Greenwood: Always lovely to come and visit here..lovely staff especially on entering the hotel .Got served by a nice lady called Jackie who made my day 😊 in Starbucks .Always friendly !Great staff @lee smith always happy to help I’m the gym and also great classes especially aqua with @harrison .@harrison great at listening too feedback within the club and very helpful .
Wullie Logan: Random beat up, filthy, hillbilly fridge in room looked like it had just been collected from the side of the road.No toilet brush and bathroom looking a little tired, overall room kinda felt a wee bitty dirty to be honest.Won't be rushing back anytime soon.
jason kew: Staying here for a friends wedding as well as helping prep for it all. The events team was amazing! Gemma, Marie, Callum & Mackenzie. Nothing was ever too much trouble to ask for and the wedding went smoothly without an any troubles. The room was spacious and clean, even had Sky channels which I thought was amazing. Would definitely stay again.
Stezo2k: Requested a room with an adjustable shower, this request was accepted, but we didn't get one. I have trouble cleaning myself so I always make sure of this. I know you have this as we've had rooms with adjustable showers here before. The most annoying thing was that the lift was out of order. My girlfriend struggles on the stairs and injured herself getting up the stairs which ruined our stay. The radiator was stuck on high heat, even though it was set to off so the room was very hot.The air conditioner only worked for 5 minutes at a time so this was useless.I would have rated lower, but I have a soft spot for this place. The staff are lovely and the location is brilliant
Wasim Idoo: As per usual, extremely clean rooms with fabulous gyms and great amenities to pick from. Although gym and Paul Access was included in our room, £5 per day is still very reasonable when you consider just how good the equipment is.Staff were always willing to help.Rooms: Very cleanFood & drinks: Plenty of food and drink options available. The only caveat is the food is a little pricey.Noteworthy details: Excellent gym and pool/sauna facilities
Catherine Ashton: Very nice stay. We had a really good offer. Has loads of things to do around if it is raining. We met friends and we did the bowling, golf, went swimming in the hotel and had a lively meal at the Indian. All in walking distance. Rooms were ready early which was a bonus. Ours included the breakfast which was good too. All in all a lovely stay and easy to find.
Habby Uppal: Amazing Staff. Very clean rooms .overall superb serviceRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Romantic, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value, High-tech …More
Chris Slaymaker: Do NOT stay here if you have kids and want to use the pool. Horrible policies and staff. Firstly they charge you £5 extra per person to use their own pool. Then they want to charge you £1 per towel extra when you get there. But worse is they refuse access to the pool for anyone under 16 after 5pm and before 9am. Then, worst of all, they refused to let my kids swim unless I got in the water as well. They are teenagers, competition level swimmers that wanted to train. I didn’t want to swim and was going to stand on the side watching. They refused us entry because of “company policy”. Completely ridiculous. No hotel in the world has any rules like this. It seems like they are trying every trick they can think of to stop hotel guests using the pool because they are more interested in selling gym club memberships than taking care of hotel guests. Stated my complete dissatisfaction upon checkout and aside from refunding out £5 pool fee they offered no meaningful apology or recompense. Such discriminatory policies towards families should not be allowed. Will never stay here or another Village hotel ever again.
Paul Vinters: Really good place for a stopover en route to somewhere else, rooms were huge, pool was great for kids to splash about in, gym facilities were incredible if you have time and everything you'd need is a 10 min walk.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5 …More

Hollie Carter: If you have a wedding booked here cancel now and find somewhere else, booked our wedding here for March 2023 here a year and a half ago , first the commutation was terrible never got any reply after paying the deposit and could never get hold of anyone, went in and had to meet with someone different everytime and go though detail for the wedding about 5 times as people kept on leavin, went though about 6 different people , was promised hotel rooms as have guests out of town, then heard what was going on there rang them up,this was just 3 months before the wedding to be told that there will be no rooms for us, and was on about a bus to take guests to another hotel , they were not gona tell us this so glad a rang , cancelled there and then and found somewhere 1000 times better and treats us better, and got a full refund of what we had already payed, never been though so much stress.
Fernanda Vargas: Very nice
Simon Smith: We've been members on and off for over 12 years and never had a problem joining after a break. Depite my wife being a member they wanted a £200 joining fee and to increase what we were previously paying by £20 a month. They promised to check but never called back or returned calls. Shame, nice gym, shocking service.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Shane Lewis: Rooms are not the nicest, considering what you can get nearby for less, there was no hot water in any of the rooms, nobody seemed bothered when I reported the problem until I asked for my money back because I wasn't happy with the room and service, was told I would get my money back, but never have received itRooms: 3/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Simon Vaughan: Golf Course open but everything shut, no range, no pro-shop, one person on the reception that will make the coffee..pretty disappointing
Tania O'Neill: Booked as a gift for Godson, the hotel has since cancelled as they received a better offer from elsewhere leaving us high and last minute. Pretty sure that's not how hotels are supposed to work. Seems there will be a few guests in this situation. No attempt at an apology or reparations. Abysmal.
Dan Roberts: Rooms are very outdated and being on the ground floor, you can hear everything that is going on upstairs, lots of footsteps. Not bad for it's price, we went to the bar to get a drink and no one turned up so we left after about 10 minutes waiting.I've stayed here a number of times and nothing seems to improve.
jan ice: Spa facilities awful and not working! Staff (reception) were not friendly at all. Wont be going back!
Melanie Ballesteros: Hot tub wasn't working. Showers for swimming pool out of order. No hot water in our room. Staff not interested in sorting the problem. Can't see how it has 4 stars.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 3/5 …More

John Chappell: An evening event, catered, organised, and managed by the venue. We had used them ourselves a number of years ago and found them all around excellent, and we recommended them. We were disappointed and embarrassed to have recommended them after the evening we had. An entire table didn't receive their pudding, despite the serving team being told several times they had been missed. Many of the main courses had to be returned as they were cold. Servers had to be reminded that main course plates needed to be removed before serving pudding. 80 plus people who I imagine won't be coming here again. I certainly won't make the mistake of recommending them again. Sad.
Keith Stannard: Nice rooms, Good food, friendly staff. Just a problem with the hot water get it sorted or you will lose custom.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Anthony Andrews: Staff were absolutely amazing and couldn’t be more helpful if they tried. The hotel suite was very clean and neat with an extremely comfortable bed that we would have loved to take home 👍The golf course was in excellent shape and although my wife and I are still learning the game we found it a very good course to play on.We decided to stay for the whole weekend at extremely competitive rates. The food we had could easily pass as 5 star quality and to our surprise all the food was cooked by the General Manager Bob Rogers who was not just an amazing chef he was extremely approachable friendly and helpful and a complete professional. The desk clerk was Dah whine we also found to be effortlessly helpful and professional in his job.All staff were brilliant and they do what every place should do and work as a team!!!Our whole experience of The Wiltshire Golf Hotel and spa was absolutely fabulous and we will definitely be rebooking for future stays and also looking to become full members of this beautiful place. We couldn’t possibly recommend this place enough.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Swindon: what do users think?
Tom Hlaing: Lobby area is nice, does make a difference when you arrive. Booked a rate which included dinner and breakfast for two nights. My room was large, most things worked and it was clean but was quite dated in furniture and the bathroom, along with a not so good air con systemDownside was the kitchen. Id booked a dinner included rate so had to eat there. It’s ironic as the quality of the food is very good, food looks like a proper chef has given though to the way it .But my issues were it took almost 50 mins for my starter to come out in an evening where the place wasn’t busy. Then another 20, after asking to rush my main. Star training seems an issue as at breakfast it was a little chaotic.Usually I would have walked out after enquiring the serving time, but I’d already paid!!
Pierson Stratford: Nice hotel, with very good service. breakfast staff and bar staff both very attentive and efficientRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Kefas MD: Always attending for professional seminars/workshops so can't really comment on the rooms. Convenient location, pleasant staff, clean environment and delightful lunch.Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Peter Johnson: Altogether a " tired " hotel requiring a bringing up to date make over. However the food was excellent and the staff very friendly and professional. Good position besides M4 , ideal for stopover on route to West Country.Rooms: The rooms were tired, our bed was broken, shower dripped all of the time and no lock on bathroom door. Not a luxurious hotel but adequate for an overnight stay if you are not fussyNearby activities: None that I could see except a Gregg,s and Costa. Too close to Motorway junction to walk anywhereWalkability: See above, busy road network nearby, not suitable for walkersFood & drinks: One good point, excellent food, good choice for both breakfast and dinner, well cooked and served by friendly and courtesy staff. However drinks high priced.
Roxanna Ivan: Great place!
Mr Brent: Do not stay at this hotel if you value a good nights sleep.Sadly this hotel has become overrun with refugees that don’t understand how to be quiet and respectful to guests, loud banging and tv on max volume till 2.30am in the morning. They also have children running around the corridors and outside so be careful of your valuables in your car as I caught a kid looking in my car.
Federico Gianfranceschi: All'arrivo ti offrono un biscotto caldo molto buono, è la prima volta che mi succede. Sorpresa gradita.
Keith Baker: Will be using this hotel again.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Kid-friendly …More
jim dolman: I stay in hotels 35-40 weeks of the year for events and have done for the past 7 years the mattress in this hotel was by far the worst from any hotel brand. Springs sticking up and so noisy. As we arrived late and was only for one night we just slept on top of the duvet as the air conditioning is universally set either hot or cold, that night I drew the hot setting. I did tell the lady on reception but she showed as much interest as my 13 year old when I tell her to do homework and continued to text on her phone. Whilst I do recommend the Hilton brand and so far all the other hotels don’t stay at Swindon
Stephen Mariadas: Supposed to be an upmarket/premium Hilton. Found it to be dated and poorly managed. Experienced lack of customer service at reception and rooms were not serviced (despite chasing this at 16:30)Rooms: Reasonable for the price. TVs dated ....lack of air con controls...Food & drinks: Pretty good but not excellent
Damien Wang: I was a bit worried when viewing those negative google reviews. But I had very positive experience during my stay during 2023 Easter holiday. The receptionist provided excellent service including registering my car plate number, sending food menu to my room, and etc. As I’m having the gold membership and they have prepared to upgrade my room before my arrival. The bed is bit old sometime makes some noise but overall experience is very good.Food & drinks: Very good food!
K Lock: Lovely place excellent conference rooms good facilities and great staff. I didnt stay overnight though.Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Quiet, High-tech …More

Cristina Crangus: Very good value for money. The Leisure rooms are very clean, staff friendly and helpful. The best part of our stay was the bed which was very large (on request) and comfortable and the continental breakfast which was very rich and tasty-many options to choose from and really delicious!! Was the best breakfast I experienced at a hotel in uk.The hotel gardens are blissful and there are many activities to choose. We only went to the pool and jacuzzi but should you look a longer stay you have plenty to do!I recommend longer stays to relax or even a short stop which won’t disappoint!

byron satchell: Wow! Just got back from an overnight stay here. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and mothers day. We arrived at around midday a few hours before check-in, so we decided to have a little lunch in the bar area which arrived promptly and was really nice.We used the leisure facilities, which were very clean, including the changing room. The facilities included a pool, spa pool, sauna and steam room, with plenty of sun loungers dotted around. We checked in at around 1700 which was quick and easy. The room was an executive double, with a balcony which was quite spacious and overlooked a very nice view. There was everything you could ever need in the room, and it was extremely clean. We booked reservations at the Flame restaurant, I do recommend the Seared Duck and the Blade of Beef. The remainder of the evening was spent in the main bar, as we worked through the list of cocktails. There is plenty for kids to do in the bar, with table top football and a mixture of game consoles/arcade games. The next day we went down for breakfast, where there was a wide variety to satisfy all preferences. As an extra treat for mothers, the wife spent the morning poolside, while I rallied the kids from babysitters and enjoyed a mothers day high tea, with an assortment of sandwiches, cakes and other yummies. All in all, a fantastic stay, very much needed and surpassed all expectations.
kajani thavam: I'd booked my family of 11 for an afternoon tea for mother's today. My 5 month old son was poorly so I rang to see if we could re-arrange, we were told we couldn't as their policy doesn't allow this. Other members of my family went along. They were not approached for 40 mins since their arrival. They were then served with pot of tea without any cups. When asked for cups this arrived with mayonnaise instead of sugar and milk. No spoons were provided and when the staff was asked to be provided with some, they were treated very dismissively. Staff members had no idea of the booking or how to serve nor did this posses any basic mannerism.Awful service!Such a let down. Will not be visiting again and do not recommend anybody to either!
Brian Morgan: We use this hotel as a meet up point for a family get together. The service is first class, the amenities great and the food tasty. Michael Worth: We have stayed several times and never been disappointed, hotel has a warmth which is a rare commodity for it's size.staff are formal professional but with a relaxed air, rooms well kept with no issues (we stayed in the pavilion).lots of single level parking with no disability problems,in our opinion the best hotel in the immediate area.
Jon Pierce: Only been here for meetings, but a lovely hotel with plenty of parking and great views. Lots of places to sit and relax. Friendly helpful staff.
William O'Connell: Haven't stayed over but the venue is in lovely surroundings. The location is en route to Gloucester from the M4. The staff are great and the organisation used to give back to the local community by looking after local groups like Rotary and the Institute of Advanced MotoristsService: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Adam L: Came here for an Indian head massage.WOW money well spent will definitely be back again.
Julie Mckinlay: I went here with 18 other people for a birthday afternoon tea. I found the receptionist to be abrupt & unhelpful,When trying to find out what part of the hotel it was in, she said in an abrupt manner.... we have lots of parties what's it for, I said the name of person, she the said what for a meal or afternoon tea. When i said afternoon tea, she said it was in Carrie's bar down there, it would of been polite for her to have at least moved from behind desk to show us where we needed to go!The tables were not cleared of empty glasses or plates when they were empty. When we left, the tables were still full of all the plates and glasses etc. All in all, it was not a good experience.

symon reeves: Very friendly team,
Aaron Sayers: This was the second visit we have had to the hotel and we were returning for one night for an anniversary. We specifically requested the same room as we loved it so much the first time and the staff were happy to oblige. A beautiful four poster bed in the center of a large room with an incredible bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable and the had all the usual basic amenities minus a fridge and safe. A coffee machine would have made a nice touch to finish off the room (instead there was a sort of urn as well as a kettle) but I only mention that as a suggestion. While at the hotel, the staff were very helpful and accomodating. The room was extremely warm with no thermostat but the staff were quick to solve the issue. My partner also has some complicated dietary requirements and the staff were very attentive and understood our concerns. Especially Gillian who was a delight throughout. She offered reassurance, which, for someone who has anxiety over food, makes a world of difference and helped put my partner at ease. I had a vegetarian version of the full breakfast which was outstanding. We both especially loved the mushrooms. The only reason I can't give the full 5 stars is I found communication lacking. It was difficult to make the booking in the first place. I tried a number of different ways listed online to contact the hotel and there was never an answer first time. This wouldn't really affect me normally but I did try to contact them on the morning of my reservation to inform them of the dietary requirements. I left a voice mail but had no response which meant I had to inform them on arrival (vegan and celiac). That said, the chef went above and beyond to find alternatives but they had only half of the dietary requirements (celiac) and regretfully, the sausages they had got for us were meat. Now, we understand that this dietary requirement is difficult to cater for and were happy with what we were offered and extremely grateful to the chef for trying. In the end, the stay was perfect but I feel communication could be improved.Thank you so much for a lovely stay.Nearby activities: Avebury stone circle and manor are nearby.Food & drinks: There is a bar. A pint of ale and a large pinot came to £12.45

Alexandra House: what do users think?
Kam Sehemby: Front of house excellent on my check in sat down for dinner waited quite a well until I made eye contact with the server ordered food and drink good wait again then food turns up no drink on once I told the server regards not getting my drink he apologised and went to get it whilst I could see it sat on the bar for a good period of time, food was OK chips well over done. Nobody came to ask if I needed any condiments or even any sweet after I finished my main so I just walked away to my room. Morning came went to make a coffee and found used sachets plus no milk in the box which I had taken for granted silly me. Overall disappointed good job my company paid for my stay.
Gabriela Pop: Very nice place, overall. :)Rooms: Large clean roomsFood & drinks: Breakfast is absolutely great. Rest of the menu is a bit limited, but fine otherwise. Very good prices.
Serhan Salih: Staff - fantastic individuals, maybe a touch too busy for the number of guests, but generally really lovely.Location - depending on your goals, it's just green space. Walking around would be ideal if you are willing to do so; otherwise, it is a little out of place for local businesses and other necessities.Accommodation - This place has clearly been well-invested in, since everything but the rooms is new, clean. With a gym, pool, and eating and drinking area, however it loses some stars the moment you open your door. My bathroom was filthy, with black mould in the shower, old bathrooms, dusty rooms and ants in the sheets that looked and felt ancient. My room had broken lights that flickered during the night when I turned them off. Extremely
Annabel Rutherford: Hotel was lovely and set in a peaceful area. The staff were lovely and welcoming, alway greeted with a smile. The room was clean, tidy and the bed was very comfortable. It was a very peaceful stay. The facilities were great and the pool area was clean. The breakfast was hot and had plenty of choice however could have done with a hot vegetarian option aside from egg e.g. a vegetarian sausage. Would definitely recommend and would return again.
K: Really well looked after hotel with great facilities.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Romantic …More
Barry Irving: A bit out of the way. I fell in the shower and cut my leg. Phoned down for a plaster. I came down 20 min later and got one myself. Not good when I hurt myself on the premises. Rooms are nice and the serving staff leave you alone to eat.Safety: Watch the bath mats as have slipped two nights in a row.
Stefan: Very friendly staff, great amenities, plenty of parking, hot water and good heating, decent rooms (could do with an update)Rooms: Decent looking, very spacious thoughFood & drinks: Breakfast: Small variety of food, but in abundance. Kids friendly
kvg151: Excellent service very friendly staffRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More
Dave Clint: Lovely hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. The bed was not that comfortable and you rolled to the middle. In the bathroom the frame around the door is in need of replacement as paint coming off.The food was lovely in the restaurantThe swimming pool was lovely
Christopher Dainton: Tremendous value for what is on offer with pool and spa and set very close to M4 and nearby countryside.Rooms: Large spacious room, very clean, tea, coffee and biscuits. Very comfortable bed.Walkability: Set in large grounds so plenty of dog walking space and very dog friendly. Dog litter bin also provided. Our dog seemed to enjoy it all.Food & drinks: Meal was served nice and hot and very enjoyable
Jack Varley: Do not understand how this is a 4 star hotel. Our room was covered in marks and stains on the wall. There was hair in the shower. It was a real let down. Fortunately it was only for a nights stay. The bed is not comfortable. Sat at the bar the following morning for half an hour. Nobody near to serve me a coffee. Only thing keeping this hotel is the gym is alright and pool is good. Otherwise extremely dissapointed. Won’t be back
Amy Brownlie: I stayed here as I was doing the veterinary physiotherapy course held at the hotel. I have travelled all over the world and stayed in many hotels, non of them come close to how friendly, cheerful & helpful the staff are at Alexander hotel. Every single one of the staff we spoke to were just lovely and a perfect example of excellent customer service making your stay stress free.I had my dog staying with me and not one member of staff walked past us without saying hello to her. A lot of dog friendly hotels do not make your dog feel welcome. In the room there was a dog bowl of water & a bowl of dog treats which I thought was a wonderful touch, along with a little dog blanket. The room was very clean & had everything we needed in it. We enjoyed a few lovely walks around the beautiful gardens surrounding the hotel. The food was delicious and the service was spot on.I have to return over the next few months for my course and I am very much looking forward to coming back.I would highly recommend to anyone and especially dog owners.
John Wood: Gym has been updated recently, and the pool has had an update too, so all in all, it's not too bad. The realy bonus is the 25% discount you get on food and drink for being a gym member! The conference rooms are ad you'd expect, nothing much to add really.Looking to hire one of the large events rooms for a party later this year, so will update.Food & drinks: The food is pretty standard, but still very nice and well cooked. Pizza isn't a Chigaco Town done in the microwave, it's a real fresh dough pizza. The chops were also nice, veg well done and side of chips was crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside - perfect!
Ahhaahha D: David was brilliant even tho we came quite late he was so helpful got us and extra duvet and gave us a a charger looked after us thanks for the hospitality ❤️❤️Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Laura Cook: We booked for a romantic 2-night stay but only stayed one night. This does not have the facilities, atmosphere or service of a 4-star hotel so we were rather disappointed.First impressions were okay and staff were nice but we were told off the bat that the hot tub was out of order. Our room had no telephone or ironing board and there were cobwebs so we were offered an alternative room, which we accepted (why they would advertise 24-hour room service but put guests in the rooms where telephones were 'under maintenance' was beyond us). Our new room was better but still rather shabby and dingy, the water pressure and temperature was dodgy, and it was difficult to flush the toilet.Since we'd come all that way (2-hour trip), we decided to give it the benefit of the doubt. We had a drink at the bar (nice service there) then had dinner at the restaurant, but when my partner's food came out there was a hair on his plate - yuck! My food was average at best. They were happy not to charge us for his meal at least. The bed was comfortable but there was a bit of noise (dogs in other rooms barking) and it wasn't the romantic atmosphere we had hoped for. My partner tried to call for room service several times that evening (as he was starving hungry!) but no one answered. In the morning, breakfast was average. We didn't feel comfortable staying another night so cut our trip short - they were happy to refund us the cost of bed and breakfast on the second night and the staff were helpful overall, but it was not the 4-star experience we were promised at all. We would not go back.
Malcolm Slatet: Stayed here a couple of weeks ago with family had a great time so invited my son and his daughters up tried ringing two days before no answer day before no answer morning before no answer got to hotel kids love to swim not allowed before 9am bad move so Sunday was a waist of time so no not worth the money so will be looking some where else in the town very disappointed
Mitchell Murphy: Hotel staff stole our the desert from our take away order caught them eating it infront or my 8 year old daught know she didnt get hers and still tried to deny finaly admitted it but did nothing to make it up for it realy poor quality mattress but good facilities

Cristina Uz: Fast check in, lovely clean bathroom and room. The sofa bed wasn't so comfortable to sleep. Overall very good. Thank you to the hotelFood & drinks: Breakfast included, 4 stars
Andrew Goolding: Always good. Great service from friendly staff
Kevin Charles: The hotel offered excellent value for money. The bedroom was spacious and they offered complimentary breakfast. The staff were excellent and a feature I really liked was a vending machine for travel essentials and conveniences, offering items ranging from deodorants to wireless earbuds. The only small minus was no plug sockets by the bed, and only one usb port on one side of the bed.I travel a lot for work and if I am staying in Swindon again I will certainly use this hotel.
Hugo Chagas: Very clean and nice hotel!Stayed one night with my family and I can say it is a nice hotel for the price.Really good breakfast, which serves English breakfast, coffee, hot chocolate, orange juice, cereals, etcVegan sausages baked as requested. There is a nice arboreal area right in front of the hotel, where you can walk a bit and enjoy the nature!Rooms: You take for what you pay!Nice shower, comfy mattress and pillows, clean linen.Noteworthy details: Staff very friendly. We visited in a Good Friday, and they prepared a chick hunt for children through the hotel lobby. The children counted how many chicks (toys) were hidden and got a prize at the end.
Paul Victor: Stayed with young family. Very good, value for money hotel with clean rooms and nice breakfast. Will return.Rooms: Clean and spacious
Katherine Bolton: The price and room was really good however, we left our HP chromebook in the room by accident and it was stolen by a team member at the hotel. Please be mindful of personal belongings as hotel staff not trustworthy.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More

Diane Tullett: Despite putting the heating up to full we were very cold in the night. Also rooms not sound proofed and other customers slamming doors at all hours. Sarah Pound: The beefeater public bar/ restaurant in Swindon is in my opinion not very appealing for a second visit, the restaurant service was poor waiting over a hour for our food to come out and when it did it wasn't worth the wait, steak I ask for was not cooked correctly and my friends orders was also very poor, we did not say anything at the time as we had been waiting a hour to be seated and another hour for our food to come out, the only positive was the barman , I hope I spell this right Isham, he was friendly and welcoming and definitely a asset to the company, but unfortunately I won't be rushing back there.
