Steve Light (SLART THE ARTIST): My favourite café in Swindon. Handy central location, great coffee, great food and snacks. Huge kudos for displaying local artist’s artwork and accommodating local band nights. Highly recommended.

It's only criticism seemed to be that they let in dogs. Since we were out of towners killing time before dropping our dog off for surgery, that was actually the selling point.What we got was an absolutely delicious breakfast with generous portions and friendly chat from the owners. A totally enjoyable experience all round. Would recommend.

martin lane: I had a wonderful experience at this coffee shop! The atmosphere was lovely, and the room temperature was just right. With Christmas in the air, the tasteful music added to the festive vibe. I ordered the toasted 3 cheese sourdough sandwich, and it was amazing and very filling – definitely shareable. The tortilla chips and salsa were a lovely accompaniment, and the flat white, expertly crafted by the talented barista Toby, was perfect. We sat at the back on a table that you can chalk on, which added a fun and creative touch to our visit. Highly recommended for a delightful coffee and dining experience!

Shawn Spencer-Smith: This is a classic story of not judging a book by its cover. Enroute from a meeting looking for a coffee and cake and found this wonderful coffee shop. Really fabulous cakes and home made waffles which I will be trying on next visit. The hot drinks were the right temperature for my tea which had 2 teabags of a good quality flavour.Served at the table and the cakes as per images are not just plonked on a plate but we're served with chocolate decoration and fresh piped cream. This establishment is well used by the younger mums and gym rats. Good access with also outside seating . Highly recommended.

I have knocked off a star for being too efficient - when me and my six-year-old popped to the loo, leaving our jackets and shopping at the table, we came back to find our table being cleared before we'd finished. I can see the funny side, and the young lady seemed gutted!

Natalia Thompson: Lovely little place in Old Town where we had breakfast. The food was delicious and the staff were welcoming. There's outdoor seating and a few tables inside as well. It's very popular and was busy from the time we arrived to the time we left.Edit:I've recently begun eating only plant-based foods. They were very accommodating in swapping out dairy and eggs from the veggie breakfast to meet my requirements. Yay!

You could feel that the staff members really cared about their customer service and also reassured me that the gluten free was cooked totally separately as well as checking the reason why I had asked for gluten free. susan tredget: I went to a life class yesterday evening for the first time at Mams gallery. It was excellent for me,I loved the friendliness and helpfulness of those running the class. The place itself is inspirational and felt very relaxing. I look forward to attending more art events at Mams.
