Linda Ford: There is a exhibition at the moment from Severnake community centre, there is a show case of knitted famous dolls as well as other things. The museum has now been moved to the first floor of the Civic Offices.

Francis dukes: Amazing friendly staff and a good atmosphere to relax and enjoy the history of Swindon
Robert Sadler: Nicely displayed work. Would be nice to see more of the collection.
Mark Wilson: Brilliant for an afternoon.
Wendy Braidford: A hidden gem in Swindon. They have various events for children in the holidays and plenty to see there. It's quite small so it's about an hour for a visit, 2 if you have to argue with a small child over gift shop items. Definitely worth a visit.

E Chivers: Quite a hidden gem, free entry and lots to see inside, room after room of interesting items and art. Mostly surprised to see an Egyptian mummy. Not everything relates to Swindon directly, but lots of it does. Happy to have discovered this.

Rooster 101: I'm not in the habit of writing reviews. However I really feel I need to share my experiences about Oink but especially Mark .I first met Mark through eBay when he bought my old kitchen and he was a magic person to deal with.. Fast forward a few years later and we had just purchased a new house. I contacted Mark about helping me with some Art work for my new pad.Mark invited me to Swindon to take a look around the gallery and was blown away. We came back with a lovely Victoria Topping piece. After we had been in for a couple of weeks. Mark went to work with designing what artwork would look best where?. With the help of photo shopping, telephone calls ,messages and WhatsApp's. We came up with a plan. Then he Basically Bought all the artwork up to the house with more ideas and we spent the afternoon placing the artwork. Needless to say we loved most of it and found it really hard not to take them all.Its very rare in this day and age to find a company still with a personal touch. At Oink it's just comes natural. Mark's a real jem to work with. I'm constantly checking his new arrivals. I just need more wall space..!!
lily matic: This is a gem of a gallery situated in the heart of Old Town in Swindon. It has a huge variety of modern art, gifts, books and cards. It is my go to for the cultural events with great ambiance, style and fresh mix of people of all walks of life. It's a must see in Wiltshire!!!

Top tip… make sure you register your email address - you’ll get a sweet little discount on your 1st order, but more importantly, your inbox will receive the low down on all the amazing preview nights they run… they’re an absolute vibe - seeing all the gorgeous new art & meeting the artists, all while sipping cocktails with a DJ spinning funky tunes in the background.Mark has helped us build a fabulous collection, introducing us to amazing artists such as Mason Storm, David Hardy, Magnus Gjoen, Heath Kane, Stanley Donwood, Donk London, Pure Evil, Victoria Topping and many others too. We’re actually running out of wall space… what a lovely problem to have!One other quick tip… you can pop through to the back of a gallery for a coffee & sweet treat at Pour Bois - a proper hidden gem. The brew is always fabulous; I mean seriously good coffee… Corey & Tom who run the show are always super friendly & very happy to see you.

Jane Bright: Oink Gallery is a cool, unpretentious, space with a great mix of contemporary art. A unique space in the heart of Old Town and as well as the great selection of art on display, there are also some cool ceramics, clocks, jewellery, books etc., if you're looking for that unique little gift. Be sure to go in for a look around - you won't be disappointed.

Kevin: Very happy. Amazing advice offered by Franco, is ultimately going to save me time, money and hassle in the long run and for that I am very grateful. I bought a huge reproduction painting when on offer from Afremov and figured it was worth taking to a professional. I struggled to stretch a small, A4 paint by numbers canvas so something this huge was well outside my capabilities. The quote to have it framed was what I was expecting, turnaround time very reasonable considering the parts need to be ordered in, and knowing this piece of art is in great hands is very reassuring. Lots of parking close by. Looking forward to seeing you in a few weeks!

Anne Johnson: We brought two pictures to the Croft Gallery to be reframed. Each time Francesco showed considerable sensitivity in helping us chose a frame that enhanced the painting.But it was when we recently took a battered, old family seascape painting along to be restored that his artistic technique really came to the fore. His skill has given the painting a new life and interest. Colours that we had not seen for a long time now shine out and brushstrokes are enhanced. We cannot tell where he has replaced missing pigment.So if your frame or picture needs a helping hand or an artistic eye, then the Croft Gallery is the place and Francesco is your expert to go to.
Neil Hopkins: I have used Francesco/The Croft Gallery many times for framing paintings I have bought. His advice on what types of frame would make the paintings look theirn best is great and I am really pleased that I have always taken his advice. My paintings look so much better on my walls for giving them more than a cheap frame from a DIY store and, in my view it's all still at a very reasonable cost!!

Matt Nye: I had a really cool time here today! So many computers and consoles from every era... some of which i'd never even heard of! Amazing hands on experience. I enjoyed playing Flimbo's Quest on Commodore 64 which was the first game i ever owned. Great voluntary staff who are very friendly and knowledgable.
Marcus Nye: Great museum we found while in the area today. Entry price is reasonable and a great collection all run by volunteers. Highly recommend paying a visit. Had a great chat with someone in there today about Commodore, and also modern ways to load games on these classic systems like via SD card readers etc. had a go on pong multiplayer, played some c64 and amstrad, plus a great Amiga 1200 fully loaded with games to try.

The volunteers are friendly and willing to chat if you want to. The price was a massive surprise. For the fun we had, we feel the visit was an absolute bargain.If you have the slightest interest in computers or video games, you have to pay this place a visit.
