Bob JOE: This was the first year I thought I would try Billy Upton for a Christmas Turkey.All the produce looked fantastic on display and really good quality, with great variety!The staff were really nice and but I feel they couldn't handle how busy it was during the time, and honestly feel they messed our turkey order up.Regardless of this, the turkey did turn out really good, and I will probably use Billy Upton again next year as prices do seem really decent.My only complaint was with the Turkey. We had a Turkey crown on order, and this should still come with the breast bone as a minimum, as bone = flavour.This was cut off, and the Turkey was rolled up, which was not very nice to cook on my Big Green Egg BBQ with the method I had chosen ... I believe they should tell you this before ordering as I would have planned the cook slightly different knowing that.

We have never been disappointed. All products are great value for money especially the Christmas boxes. Nothing beats the fresh lovely flavours you get. So much better and different to supermarket produce. Service is excellent considering the times we find ourselves in due to COVID.

Alison Sime: What a great find, we were on holiday in Llandeilo and found Dewi after reading the visitors book in our cottage. Great service from a real Butcher who knows his stuff.Our first purchase was Salt Marsh lamb and lemon pork chops which we enjoyed on our visit. We went in and bought lamb, steak and sausages to take home with us too. Dewi does a range of gluten free proper sausages which is great for me as I'm a coeliac and lots of the marinades are gluten free too. Thanks guys for great service 👍 I wonder if our turkey will be Welsh this year 😀

Chris Lawson-Blake: Found Dewi after a recommendation. We put in a £300 order and couldn't believe what we got for it. As well as Dewi, Ben is also an excellent person to deal with. He spends time with you while you're putting your order together giving advice if needed, the meat is well packed and we've just tried the diced beef which was fantastic. We'll be ordering on a regular basis through his courier service and going down 6 monthly to visit them. This review is coming from someone who has always bought his meat from farm shops looking for the best quality meats. Not only is his meats are of the finest quality he also keeps his prices at a reasonable rate and the service is exceptional. Looking forward to ordering from them in 6 weeks time.

Geoffrey Thomas: I’ve always found llantrisant butchers helpful, I use the gym and by 5 k of gym at a time , they flavour and seperate them into 2s at no cost, i by curry and rice which is cheaper than Tesco, I recently discovered cheesecake it’s delicious and reasonably priced , the service is outstanding and a special message for rich the butcher as nothing is to much trouble
