First Call Coffee: what do users think?

Seth Thomas: This is a cozy coffee shop in Swansea with an assortment of drinks and small plates to get for breakfast or lunch! We came to grab a coffee and some Welsh cakes and it didn’t disappoint. I got a latte which was delicious and tried a welsh cake for the first time that was tasty and had nice flavor! A bit like a dense mini pancake with fruit inside! The one lady working there was very kind and the service was great. I’d come back for sure!

Sylwia Hukowska: the vegan and english breakfast was good, coffee was great, dog friendly outdoor area only , nice serviceVegetarian options: Breakfast vegetable

M Wyn Davies: Sadly I had the same experience yesterday as I had in Francos. It is understandable a business has to be run and yesterday was very busy. As someone waiting on my own for a friend to come along I was asked to move to another table which is fine . My friend then eventually arrived and then the waitress asked me to move bank to the original table as there were two of us. It is embarrassing and I must find a cafe that caters for me waiting. My friend is elderly and her mobility is not too good so I'm very limited. I would prefer to go to Burger King where if you're on your own you don't get moved.Sadly my last visit to Sam's and I will have to inform my friend of this

Jessica Shaw: Service is fastFood is deliciousKid-friendliness: Staff are very friendly with kids

Stuart Chaves: Best cafe in Swansea, all home made food and very nice and welcoming atmosphere.Recommended dishes Bacon Egg & Chips Recommendation for vegetarians Somewhat recommend Vegetarian offerings Not sure …

colin matley: Very busy cafe, popular with the locals, great all day breakfast. Only accepts cash though

karl court: I don't go out usually but my brother brought me here yesterday and it was lovely, thank you. XXX.

Leah Mcknight: Nipped into here yesterday with my 1 year old, the place was closing up but still welcomed me in, I ordered a slice of toast for a moody little one and didn’t realise it was cash only which I had none on me.The lovely lady there reassured me it was okay and allowed me the toast for free which really made my day, all the staff there were super nice to us and I will definitely be going back. With cash this time!A small act of kindness that changed my days outlook totally, lovely to see people are still kind these days.

Danielle Williams: I come with my children at lest once a week and nothing is ever too much for the girls truly amazing place lovely atmosphere I would never go anywhere elseKid-friendliness: Amazing with the kids

Sue Bowden: Been here many times. This time I chose ham omelette and chips. I wasn't really happy with this but it's not the fault of the cafe. They use chunky chips which I find too dry and the omelette was huge and full of ham but, to my taste, was very overcooked and consequently also very dry. I smothered the chips in vinegar and sauce but it made no difference, likewise the omelette. I ended up giving half of my meal to my friend. The most enjoyable bit was the side salad. I won't order that again. My friend had bacon, egg, sausage and chips and enjoyed it

BASEKAMP: what do users think?

Will Jones: We popped in with our two Border Collies on Friday and had a lovely time. The service was great. Food portions were plentiful and delicous. Added bonus of a local doggie Dylan to keep our Collies company.Great place! Will visit again.

Abi Denton: Great speciality coffee in a stylish coffee shop space. Lots of seating available indoors and outdoors, for you to enjoy your coffee and pastries. There are lots of options, with vegan choices too, so a great place to visit for those with specific food requirements. A real gem in the area and not to be missed! They also sell specialty coffee beans from local brands such as Hard Lines amongst others which is reason enough to pay them a visit.Dietary restrictions: Vegan milk and sweet treat options available

Kate Webb: We hosted multiple group meetings at BaseKamp this week, and everyone loved it. The staff were so accommodating and made sure there were tables reserved for us each day. The atmosphere is relaxed and quiet, which made it perfect for what we were looking for. The coffee was amazing, and the cakes were delicious. We will be back for some meetings again hopefully!

Lauren Bowen: Popped in for something quick to eat with my 10mo daughter. Food was lovely. Only complaint was they had 3 highchairs for babies and none of them had all the straps fully secured and working,so my daughter ended up eating on my lap. Please replace the highchairs as its a safety hazzard!

Dan Morris: Wonderful place and enjoy coming here often, with my partner, friends and alone!Family run with a warm and personal greeting.Food is superb, freshly prepared and tailored to your requirements. If it's in the fridge / freezers then it can be cooked too your taste!Allays recommends to othersVegetarian options: Veggie breakfast is my fav, even though I am a meat eater at heart!

Megan Jones: Incredible breakfast with loads of options. Staff were so happy. Would definitely recommend.

Maria Courtney: I stumbled over this lovely Cafe whilst on my was to another and so glad that I did. It's owned by Sam whom I had the pleasure of meeting. My friend and I had a small breakfast and a skinny late and I had to pay my compliments to the chef. Served with my favorite brown seeded bread and the rest was also scrumptious and fresh. No frozen foods used and feshly cooked by Sam who is actually a qualified nurse! It was great to hear her story about how she moved to Swansea and started the business just before lockdown and thankfully she's survived! I wished her all the best and told her that I will be her number 1 customer as I was so impressed. I will need to try the Sunday lunch soon and also she will be serving Xmas lunch from 1st December so I would recommend anyone to pop in and see for yourself! See you soon. Maria and Debbie xx

Huw Richards: A great cafe near Swansea bus station and on on a street where the 2 nearby cafe's 1 didn't take card. The other would only take card if it was over £10. Great food and drinks for less than £10.

The breakfast was absolutely amazing highly recommended. Thankyou for the lovely food and for making are visit a good one 😊
