sonnie browning: I didnt stay at the venue but went around the course. The view is beautiful and the course was funRooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 3/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Ricky Mustoe: Food was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful top marks 👍Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Jef Callens: Spent 2 nights here while cycling around the Gower. Very friendly staff, comfortable beds, peaceful surroundings and a secure space to store our bikes. Would recommend!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Quiet, Great value …More
Matthew Paynter: Paid £25 to play the course this morning .The course is unfortunately in a sorry state , the greens were absolutely shambolic and to make matters worse there wasn't even flags in the holes to help navigate you onto the green. It felt like an abandoned golf course that could and would of been a great place to play if looked after. If the pro shop had been open I would of asked for a full refund.Safe to say won't be playing there again
james phillips: Lovely course in good shape for early season. Loved the long par 5 with testing water feature hole! All par 3 were a test and required a good degree of accuracy.Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Patrik Rittich: amazing. nice hotel. quality bed.
Karen Spedding: This motel style, cheap accommodation has the potential to be great but is sadly lacking in many areas. Upon checking in, was told that the bar and restaurant was closed and no dinner or breakfast was available. This was not advised prior to check in so meant a 30 min round trip down the single track, potholed lane to go to a local service station to buy a sandwich. The room was a decent size but VERY tired with dirty marks on all the furniture and in the bathroom. I was unable to connect to the wifi for the first hour - although did thankfully later get access. The TV was broken. The walls are paper thin and could hear peoples conversation in the adjoining room. All in all, not an experience I would ever like to repeat. I was away with work and spent a miserable and lonely night eating a service station sandwich with absolutely nothing to do. Couldn’t even watch TV!The two points awarded are for the lovely Beth who welcomed me warmly at check in and the large bed which was surprisingly very comfortable. Everything else was hideous
david whitton: Stayed Saturday night. The bathroom needed cleaning very dated the rooms could do with the hotel inspector going in to help them out. The lady who served use was very helpful.Rooms: In need of refurbishment.Food & drinks: The food was very nice had a god breakfast. Although the cups were dirty.
Wendy Mccaffrey: Stay away. Please look at my photos. We were a party of 4 females booked in for 2 nights from Friday 17th February to 19th for a special 60th birthday. We left within 30 minutes to find another hotel as 1 of the rooms the window would not lock in another. You couldn't close the front main door into the bedroom. Both rooms had no central heating, only a small blow heater was very cold and damp not clean. No restaurant open, no other guest staying there really quiet frightening as in the middle of nowhere. Not fit for purpose 😕
Owen Pritchard: We travelled down from Aberaeron specifically to play at the gower golfcourse but we didn't even get halfway round the first 9 holes before asking for our money back. The course etiquette shown by the clubs own members was disgusting. They showed little to no respect to others playing the same hole and nearly striking one of us with their ball. We were verbally abused when we confronted them.We will not be returning and urge others wanting to visit to bare the rude etiquette in mind
Jo-Ann Hemper: Good value stay. Very quiet. Comfortable bed, had good night's sleep.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Mohammad Alam Choudry: Good day of Golf with friends.
Brian Alsop: Stayed two nights using buy a gift 2 course meal on one night and 2 breakfasts included.room was nice . Food good but had run out of lamb which seeing we were in Wales was unusual. Didn't plat golf but course looked nice but very hilly.
Brian Keen: Stayed a couple of nights, staff were fantastic very friendly could not do enough for us.
Roger Ellis: Hilly, well kept, in general value for money course. Great views.
Marian: Just returned from a 7 night stay for the third time. Great position for reaching the beautiful beaches, close by. Adrian and his staff members , extremely friendly and helpful. Good rooms and a great breakfast. 5 stars for the complete experience. Thankyou!
Chris Harrison: Stayed for 3nights. Excellent big, well cooked breakfast but confusion between reception and catering staff over serving times resulting in us and others arriving too early every day. Room clean but 'tired'

Morriston Golf Club: what do users think?
Gareth: , hard to navigate the course (the hole signs have faded away
Susan Whitelock: Nice place but buffet not very full bit disappointed but setting really nice
The Does Doherty: Very nice place for all events
keith saunders: First class buffet and service
abhay m: Good
Christopher Havard: Visited for Sunday lunch. The food was good, a nice selection of meats and vegetables. 2 or 3 courses available, with a few good options for dessert. The staff were friendly and helpful. Service was quick. We booked in advance, but they seemed to have plenty of spare capacity, so you might be lucky with a walk-in.£13 for a 2 course meal. (Jan 2023)
Simon Mainwaring: Nice course and excellent food. And a tremendous reception from staff and members.
The Good D: Fantastic venue for a recent wedding. 3 members of staff behind the bar. The hall was plenty big enough for our group. Closed at 12pm.
Magehn3421: We really enjoyed celebrating our daughter 13th birthday. The food was outstanding. The staff was amazing . Couldn’t have asked for better Service. Definitely be going back again in the future.
Stephen Hobbs: Poor meal
angelo magliocchetti: Had a fantastic night there, lovely people. Angelo as Elvis.
Betty Crash: Good venue. They did a separate vegan buffet with some pretty good options
Vernon Thomas: Course in good condition and a warm welcome
Claire Thomas: Lovely friendly atmosphere. Really great food too 😋
Cheryl Arnold: Attended after a funeral. Small buffet ok and clean.
Gail Burns: 1st time at the golf club. Attended for a friend's wedding. Very nice place. It was clean and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and prompt..
Ian Leyshon: Man behind bar needs to be people friendly
Ffion Williams: Terrible! Went after my great grandads funeral with family and friends. My brother who I may add is 19 years of age went to the bar with my mam (who payed for the alcohol) and ordered a pint in honour of our great grandad with no problems at all he was served a pint and was seen by all the workers behind the bar and everything was okay , halfway through his pint he was approached by who I think is the manager of the club , I have never heard a person be so rude when asking for an ID even tho my brother was served at the bar and have already drank half of the pint. I understand that it’s the law to ask for ID but there is a way of saying it , I’ve never met a man so rude! My brother was so upset and just left as all he wanted to do was have one pint in honour of his great grandad and he couldn’t even have that. Our evening was ruined! We hired the room for only us but as we were there around 5 costumers were brought to the room that we were sitting in by the manager and was placed On a table whilst we were all sitting there still! We paid for a PRIVATE ROOM but it wasn’t really private , it’s not the costumers fault as you can see that they felt uncomfortable coming into the room but it was the managers fault.May I add that it is legal for 16 year old up to have a pint , wine or cider in a private function as long as an 18 year old buys it , so my brother was in no wrong what’s so ever.
Sylvia Morgan: I went to Morriston Golf Club after my brother's funeral on Friday 8th April. We'd had a lovely funeral service celebrating my brother's life, then we arrived at the golf club. The Manager approached my great great nephew who is actually 19 years of age to ask for I.D after he already had his drink in front of him. The website says "friendly and courteous" the way my great great nephew was treated was neither friendly or courteous, nobody should be spoken to in the way the Manager spoke to him resulting in my great great nephew leaving and didn't return. We understand he had to ask but not in the manner he did. This was his first family funeral he was really upset before reaching the golf club, his Nanna was then left mourning her father but also her grandson leaving and she has health issues of her own, so thanks to the Manager of the club what should have been a celebration of my brother's life became sadness that my great great nephew whom my brother loved very much and was like a father to him wasn't there and all he wanted was to have a drink in honour of my brother. There was no option for no stars or I would have given that.
Sue Williams: I had my fathers wake at the golf club yesterday. After a beautiful service it was ruined after arriving at the golf club by the aggressive manner the manger approached my grandson who is 19 and removed his drink. He was so upset by the way he was treated he went home really upset. What was already a very difficult day was made far worse. What I didn't know at the time is that you can have a pint at a private function with food at the age if 16. They then allowed people to come into the room and set up meals. The people felt very uncomfortable. Thank you for your compassion NOT
Neville John: Attended a special birthday party.Hospitality 1st class.

Jim Wilde: Greens had been Hollow tined but enjoyed the views and the roundStayed in the Lodge, excellent accommodation and staff were excellent
Shaun Middleton: Stayed for 2 nights and played.Great accomodation. Good value and very clean. Fantastic breakfast. Thanks to Mattew from the pro shop for going out of his way to help us. What a pleasant stay and play.
Nicola Oulton: Excellent Sunday lunch as always
Eddie Axten: Good course in good condition. Hospitality very good, food excellent quality and price.
Joshua: Stay and play 08/04/2023 -Course just gets better and better every time we play it, this is our 4th year doing a stay and play 12 of us. The greens were so good considering the weather we have had. The members and staff are so welcoming very different to a neighbour course we played the following day. I cannot recommend clyne enough, great for a society and only 10 minutes into Swansea town to end the day.
Chris Khan: Little gem of a course, for the time of the year stood up really well. Green really good, definitely be back this year. We'll worth a visit
Sian Thomas: Excellent buffet
Tyrone Lewis: Great food good staff
Alison Lynne Leggett: Great views of the golf course and good old fashioned cooking .Enjoyed a lovely Christmas dinner with extended family which was both reasonably priced and excellent quality.
barry brierley: Course in great condition considering time of year.
Rhiannon Roberts: Thoroughly enjoyed the course the weather and the food.
Don Punnett: Seniors open competition was cancelled,We played anyway. Had a good deal.Shame the greens had been spiked and sanded.
bobbaboi1: Natural landscape heathland course greens fenced off to keep grazing animals out (sheep horses) but in no way disturbed play greens are nice as was the full breakfast. Well worth a visit lovely views of the bay and the Mumbles
John Wormwell: Fantastic Golf weekend enjoyed at the Clyne Golf club this weekend, superb course in great condition, fantastic food, and best of all tremendous staff, that ensured we had such a great time, already looking forward to returning in the future, thank from all the lads
John Washbourne: Very tough but hard to rate as the weather was dreadful and visibility poor.
Nick B: Had not played the course for a while. Still a good set up overall and well maintained. Clubhouse similar to 30 years ago but very welcoming
Simon Adelman: Our group really enjoyed the course, but sadly the hospitality really put a downer on our day there. One member of staff in particular was confrontational and argumentative from the moment we arrived, which soured what should have been a great society day.
Peter Grimes: Fantastic course and really friendly members and staff, thank you
Andy Loughman: Tough golf course
Alan Davis: Good layout, some really good holes with some fantastic views, but this is a "natural" course. If you're looking for a manicured immaculate experience this might not be for you, but I loved it!
Marzena G: Beautiful 💕💕

Swansea Bay Golf Club: what do users think?
Stuart Roberts: What an unexpected gem of a course.Really was a pleasurable challenge. The greens are one of the best I've played on this year.If you're organising a golf tour, put this on your list.Nice balcony to have drinks on afterwards and the food was good.Staff were lovely
Tom Lomasney: Had a great day on July 1st, Red arrows included !. All the guys (16) enjoyed the course, service, food and staff were excellent will certainly return, thank you
martin lilygreen: Great links course
G: Really injoyed the course well maintained plenty of challenging golf .
Sam Coombs: Played after a week of rain and the coarse was brilliant with the greens still fairly quick. All members were very helpful and encouraging to become members ourselves with open arms which was nice.letting the ladies comp (Monday) through slowed the round down alot but otherwise would of been a quick 2 ball round with plenty of time in the 19th to spare. Will definitely play again.
Geoff Salter: Bit disappointed that we were told it was fully open, paid £33 and then found it was partially shut with holes out of play. To be fair our own course was shut which is why we played there, but worth £33 in those conditions..no
Damian Miller: Amazing greens with plenty of variety of holes.
Paul Moore: Great golf ⛳.
len lynch: Good challenge well looked after course
D John P: Course conditions awful. Where is the grass? Members unwelcoming, rude beyond belief. Club pro lovely.
Evil Evans: Ok
Peter Pendle: Very disappointing. What was bad? You can't book a tee time (nor can members apparently). When we turned up there was a golf society on the tee. We had to follow them and it was very slow. The fairways were in an appalling condition with some having more sand than grass. It might be difficult in the hot weather but the fairways didn't look like they had seen water for months. In places it was impossible to tell what was fairway and what was rough. The course is next to (and under!) motorways and main roads so the traffic noise is loud. And at the end, when returning to the car park, I discovered that my car was blocked in. Cars had parked both to the front and rear of me. Mindless! What was good? Because it was so slow we joined up with two lady members who were very friendly and made the round more enjoyable. And the greens were excellent, in very good condition and great to play on.Sorry to be so negative but we won't be returning in the near future.
Enterprise Sheds Ltd: What a golf club amazing hospitality.Fantastic test of golf park land & links one day I will return to lift that trophy like I did in 2003.Busy with my business but I will return 😉
DeanRich22: Not a great course, very samey, no real unique challenges. Also didn't help that we were spoken to like complete rubbish by a couple of old entitled members. Won't be coming back and I'd avoid it.
Alan Purnell: Good conditions for steady golf but very slow due club comp going out early
john pitman: Hard day today playing in that wind but totally enjoyed
Damion Ellis: Food was outstanding
adam john: Great greens
Dale Middleton: A very nice course, despite the wet conditions greens were superb
Dave Gould: Friendliest club I have visited.made to feel very welcome by the members and really enjoyed my day there. Course is a great mix of parkland and links. Weather will always play a part but that's why we love this game. Well worth a visit.
Ward Locke: When my car broke down staff very helpful and even offered me coffee whilst waiting for AA.

Terry Meek: Stunning links course with unbelievable greens and views not to be missed, great clubhouse for food and refreshments too, well worth a visit
Oli Wayt: Great place!
Jerry S: Great links course, need to be accurate off the tee even if it means taking an iron, greens excellent.
alan waterfield: Awfull
Rhiannon Roberts: Glorious weather, stunning views and the course as challenging as ever!!
Andy Joiner: Great vegetarian food
Keith Rothin: Course was in excellent condition. Credit to the gteenkeeping staff. Breakfast was superb excellent service
skezzbom: Yummy food!
suzanne macdonald-carr: Brilliant course friendly and efficient staffAn experience not to miss
Andrew McKnight: Lovely views. Well maintained course
YY1CIR Carlos Ibarra: Very well located and surrounded by beautiful peninsula
andrew pentith: Great welcome and great course, food was ok
Peter Pendle: We played in the Club's Open mixed greensomes.Unfortunately, we followed by a group of four members (one of whom is apparently a senior committee member) who totally spoilt our day. They accused us of holding up the course: we didn't. We were regularly waiting for the group in front (or walkers) to clear and certainly never fell a hole behind. Nevetheless, we invited them to play through, which they declined. Twice they hit balls past us. On the 12th they drove the greenside bunker whilst we were still playing up to the green. After firm words were spoken, they backed off and eventually went in. For the record, we had to wait on the 18th tee for several minutes and finished immediately behind the group in front. I reported the matter to the club manager at the end who, in fairness, said he would take the matter up. And again in fairness, I played in another open competition earlier in the week with two club members, who were great company. Nevertheless, it spoit out day. And no, we're not rubbish golfers, both our pairs got 38 points and one of the group got a hole in one!As for the course, it is a traditional links style course and a real test of golf. The greens are in top condition and the views are stunning. Downsides are very poor course signage, cattle, electic wires around the green, hundreds of dangerous rabbit holes and very busy and noisy public rights of way accross and around the course. The clubhouse is great, the food very good and all of the staff very friendly and helpful. Just a shame about a couple of selfish members.
Andy Eastham: Most scenic round of golf I've ever played. Utterly fabulous. Very friendly service in the club house too. Highly recommended. Thank you
keef7466: Hot
Matthew Rivers: Good course, greens were fantastic
Michael Simmons: 5.8.2022, Played open day everyone was so welcoming, the course is the best around, can't wait to go back and play golf again.
Mark Morgan: An absolute top track. My personal favourite. Stunning scenery and every hole a challenge.
John Washbourne: Great course. But very hard!
EX WA: Lovely open space for a walk and a great view of three Cliffs beach
Rui Zhang: I really enjoyed this golf course, fantastic view throughout. This is a very unique links, it does feel like play links in the sky. Apart from the fairway is very dry (probably due to the recent heatwave), everything else are great!!

Mond Valley Golf Club: what do users think?
Geoff Richards: Good welcome. Flatish course but demanding in places. Some great dogleg par 4's where accuracy on position and length is needed. Well maintained
Vivian Davies: Nice course to play, friendly staff in the club house what more do you want.
David Jones: Temporary tee boxes were in shocking condition, covered in mud and quite dangerous to drive of, greens were very slow with a lot of grass , uneven , bumpy and a lot of mud on them , the bunkers were devoid of any sand and had not been edged or had any work for a long time , the temporary 18 th tee box (grass) was the worst of all , also machine tyre marks and trenches were left around the course, I have played the Mond on and off for over 15 years and have never seen it as bad as I did this round , I now it had been wet a couple of weeks before but feel the course had had to much foot traffic on it , for £20 + for a visitor in winter seems a lot for a poorly kept course . Sorry not for me and wouldn’t recommend to play here in the winter .
Peter Allen: Had a great day there, the staff in the club were brilliant, so attentive and good fun
Gareth Jones: Great welcome again thanks
Alan Shearer: 2nd time we have played this course and a quirky wee course it is. Tom at the Pro shop could not have been more helpful re booking etc. Had food after too and catering staff etc 1st class. Well worth a visit and value for money too.
Andrea Herbert: Shocking lately
Michael Gordon: Parkland course. Tree lined fairways. Testing greens.Well worth a visit.
marc williams: Played there, with my son, on Saturday 23rd October.Wasnt the best weather but didnt rain. Course was excellent, as always. The weather made a big difference on the greens, none of them run at the same pace, making green reading no use. I enjoy playing here when I get a chance, and will definitely be back again
lee richards: Lovely course
Mark Hoggarth: Did a charity golf day here and loved it. Owain and the team at the club were great. The course was in brilliant condition especially after the heavy rain we had. Food afterwards in the bar was lovely and I would happily come back again
michael mcdonnell: Played the course on Thursday 26th of August with a few of the lads. Hadn’t played at Mond Valley for a few years but must say was thoroughly impressed with the club and course. Staff in the golf shop were really helpful before the round and gave us a verbal tour of course, as well as going through course guidelines. Stopped for a bite to eat and drink after the golf and the service was brilliant. Had the curry which I’d highly recommend. For the golf course itself, what a great test of golf. Aesthetically as good a parkland course in Swansea area and really good value for a £20.00 round. We’ll be back soon, thanks.Well done Mond Valley Golf Club 👏
Ioan Williams: Really enjoyed
Mel Payne: Great welcome from the local senior members.Course excellentFood superb served by very friendly staff. All in all a very good day apart from losing my match on the 18thSeriously an excellent day.
Hsc: £20 18-hole you won't be go wrong The Fairway is nice the green is nice number 10 hole Secret number 10 very nice love it the golf course is flat,,, 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏌️🇲🇾🏌️‍♀️

Colin Lowry: Very good day was had by society. Course was good condition, and always fun.Well worth a visit, with friendly and helpful staff.
Kyle Robinson: Warm welcome from staff started the day off well.Course generally in good condition and well cut.. However myself and my golf partner both felt the tee boxes were not in v good condition and needed some attention.
Kevin Isaac: Great course and great bar
Chris Watkins: Superb course , very well maintained, staff very freindly and polite , course was a lot tougher than I thought but really enjoyed 👌🏌‍♀️⛳🏌‍♂️

Ashburnham Golf Club: what do users think?
Stephen Knapman: Played here a few times twilight hours. Tee off before 7.30 or after 5, done both. You have to play this course at least twice to appreciate its beauty. Don’t go thinking you can play this like a parkland course, some par 4’s was using 6 iron 7 or 8 iron in.Spectacular course and clubhouse. 18th is a drag, but get it right, your smiling walking in.Go play there, it’s a must.
Justin Bidgood: Very welcoming and a really good challenge. The course was in excellent condition even in the really dry weather
Dl: Amazing food. Definitely be coming back
Joshua: Loved the course, the condition was so good considering the weather.. great hospitality and the pro made it a great experience from the off giving us some insight to the course, thanks
Linda Rees: Stunning Sunday dinner. Even brought a pudding home as I had no room for it. Definitely be going back.
Gethin Davies: Great Golf course 👍
Tony Evans: Great course, proper links, . Great food , served by accommodating staff.
Richard Porter: Beautiful course, old style clubhouse and very friendly welcome. I am grateful we played on a benign day, otherwise the course would be a real handful. Excellent
Jerry S: Good quality course, challenging narrow fairways lots of pot bunkers. Green true and smooth well worth playing but need accuracy not length.
John Freter: Despite the great heat the greens were in terrific shape, which is more than can be said about the players. With no tap on the course to refill bottles this is a serious black mark, especially as there seemed to be a reliance on single use plastic bottles purchased from the proshop. Has anyone on the committee heard of climate change??
