There was a slight mark on the Misplaced Childhood CD Album I bought which I didn't notice until I was home but doesn't bother me as only small. Prices around the same as HMV - some cheaper and some more expensive but only a couple of quid each way.

The Editor: An absolute gem. I got the first Wishbone Ash album on CD, and King Crimson's Larks. It stocks the remasters on vinyl, and prices are reasonable - unlike the ripoff coffee 'n' vinyl places springing up everywhere - and it must have the best selection of Budgie albums anywhere. This is a PROPER RECORD SHOP, a sort of Walesland national treasure, lose this and you lose cultural depth.

Leighton SMITH: Just upgraded to the Yamaha dgx670 keyboard. Its absolutely fantastic as was the service from Aled, who is so helpful and is such an accomplished pianist. He took a lot of time explaining all the features and demonstrating them. I visited the store around lunchtime and by teatime, Aled had delivered and set up the new keyboard. I cannot fault the service.
Jimi: I bought my first guitar here, great selection of instruments got on well with the staff very friendly,easy to get to, my only quibble it's not open at all on the weekend, pity cause I want to buy another guitar but weekdays are too tricky
Peter Walker: We telephoned to discuss an electric piano to replace a mechanical model and we spoke to Aled. We had no real knowledge of what was available so he talked us through the options. We trusted his advice and made a choice. However, he refused to sell it to us until he’d spoken to my wife and reassured himself that it would be the correct instrument for her. When he was happy that it would be, we paid a deposit and the team delivered it a week later. Nothing was too much trouble for them and Aled carried out an excellent handover which we thoroughly enjoyed. The instrument is as good as the service; fabulous.

Ray Davies: Wynne is a true guitar wizard. His knowledge of guitar electronics and setup is incredible. Took my 8 string Siggery for a replacement barrel jack but he spotted a number of issues with the guitar. Wynne resigned the neck, shielded the electronics, repaired some frets and did a great setup within a few hours. A fantastic service and a real gentleman with a passion for all things guitar.

Ceri Roberts: - the electronics however we're awful, it was screaming feedback even at fairly low volumes, terrible intonation problems and Wynne also identified that a 2 prong jack was installed instead of the correct 3 pronged jack - causing the 9V battery to drain constantly!!I am now SUPER happy with the sound and how it plays, the action is now perfect & it stayed in tune and had no intonation issues throughout recording. I've completed all my guitar work on 3 tracks today in the studio & the "Jackson" was a pleasure to play - it's a Chinese counterfeit that played nicely enough for me but had terrible feedback with shoddy electronics and incorrect set up. Thanks to Wynne's guitar wizardry it is now a suitable studio and live instrument!!

Have been very happy with my new pickup wiring, taking my Strat from a standard 5-way selection to a 10-way switch with even more options. Jonny Edwards: Took my guitar to Ed in pieces and ended up with an amazing instrument that is perfect to play. I couldn’t be happier with the end result. Apart from putting the guitar together, the neck was just stock wood and was completely finished, re-fretted and straightened. Would definitely recommend Ed.
howells442: Ed restored my late grandfathers acoustic guitar. The guitar was unplayable due to a crack in the neck, a dead brace under the bridge and it also had knackered frets. He managed to repair the broken bits with very little trace of any work having been done, whilst managing to retain some of the natural wear which holds sentimental value to me. The guitar plays like a dream now! You'd never guess it's 60 years old!Top service, reasonable pricing & he evidently cares about the instruments he works on. Wouldn't think twice about reccomending him to anyone!

The Rehearsing room is spacious and well equipped.The entry-level Yamaha drum kit had very worn heads, but served a purpose - add your cymbals, snare and kick pedal. PA system was good. The room was baffled/damped to reduce the amount of ambient reverb. The sofa was a nice touch and the lighting was excellent.This would have been 5 stars, but limitations with parking and stairs access drop it 1 mark.
