Ben Russ: First time I've been to Swansea Museum and it was very interesting.Took my time around all the exhibits and was there for about 2 hours. The range of exhibits is also noteworthy: egyptology, Swansea in the 20th century, natural history, and others.Would definitely recommend if you're visiting Swansea
John Lyne: This is a free resource with lots of local interest. A lot more than you may originally think. Some of it from not so long ago, so is interesting for all ages. Ideal for a couple of hours. Swansea Bus Museum: what do users think?
Nia Rodgers: Brilliant day out with my family. All the volunteers that work there are so kind, knowledgeable and very friendly! They're all so dedicated to the work they do there. Please please give any donations to the bus museum if you can. They can do so much with it. E.g repairing and doing up old vehicles, maintenence and everyday upkeep of the museum. You are all a fantastic team. We had the most brilliant day and will definitely be back again in the near future! :)

1940s Swansea: what do users think?
Nicholas Hackett: I came here when I was in primary school and enjoyed as actors made it feel real. Came another day with parents few years later it. Unfortunately no actors that day I went with my parents. Shame its closing.
Tegan Scott: I remember coming here in primary and instantly remembered this place and started crying lmao, want to visit again sicne it’s been about 5 years.
petejones75: A most amazing little museum.. It is just reopened after closing for COVID-19. Well worth the visit and they really need our support right now. It was like a tardis unassuming on the outside but vast on the inside.. went on and on.. with bomb shelters, rooms of memorabilia and even a recreated high street...trenches too. My kids loved dressing up.. so much effort made by the owners. Great thing to do on a rainy morning
Denise Harvey: Hands on experience for children to learn
Claire Hauxwell: This museum gives a fascinating insight into wartime Britain. It is great to see how much they've fitted in. I took a group of school children, and they all thoroughly enjoyed it.
paul wild: Great Museum , really good displays, lots of interesting fact about Swansea at war and there is a 1940's street with mock shops.Well worth a visit . Contact them first for current opening hours and entrance fee
Paul Hodges: Very interesting took a school group there they really enjoyed the trip
Elizabeth Dalley: Excellent really enjoyable very well organised
S Watkins: Lots to learn about the 2nd WW, very educational. Friendly staff. It takes less that 90 min the tour.
Z Llewellyn: Took my nan over the summer. She really enjoyed looking around and telling me stories about the things in there. Staff were super friendly.
Jo Dufay: Fascinating place, I would really recommend it for all ages. Information is clearly displayed and exhibits explained in a straightforward way, but also provide a depth of information if you want it. I came here with my mother - who is 86 and lived through WW2 in Swansea - and my best friend who, like me, grew up in Swansea. There is a lot to see and experience here, and we all learned a lot.
Simon P: Really nice 😊
Jackie Richards: Fantastic history of the war
Julie Porter: A nice place and lovely staff, but it needs some money spent on the place
Tommy Tucker: My 9 year old was really disappointed. We visited near the anniversary of D day. But there was very little there to let you know. I know it's hard for places like this to survive. And bad reviews can kill a place. But it's like there's been no effort to do anything there. To maintain the place.
Hannah Morgans: Really nice atmosphere, amazing staff, and very educational and interesting. Suitable for all ages will be returning
Rob Mol: The staff were very friendly and we are very happy that the staff keep the story of Swansea in the 1940's alive.
Jayne Palmer: I brought 90 children from our school here to learn about WW2 and we had a fantastic day. The staff are dressed in 1940's clothing, there is a dressing up room for the children, a 1940's street, original newsreels and artifacts and the staff make it a personal experience. It is small but plenty to do, you will need to take your own food but we were made mugs of tea and tables were put outside for us to sit at and very much appreciated. Thank you.
Linda Smith: Lovely small museum. Ideal if you want a snapshot of 1940's Swansea
Steven Gray: Well worth a visit, highly recommend if you love the history of Swansea and World War two
Paul Stewart: Interesting place, packed to the brim.
