Morriston Hospital: what do users think?
Anne Parsons: They have completed my Dad's major surgery and although recovery is rough, he is coming home and will be healthier once healed.
Anon2: We unfortunately had to visit the A and E, but we found the staff to be great and very caring.
Anastasia Harper: Awful place, bad staff
John Carlyon: Brilliant place the staff are excellent
Danny Bakhit: Very busy hospital, under pressure and under rated, they are trying so hard to keep up and recruited more medical staff
Colin Benson: Lacking in car parking spaces for wheelchair pick-up, resulting in far too many vehicles being "illegally" parked and often causing unnecessary obstacles for emergency vehicles.Once inside, toilet facilities are inadequate for the number of visitors, particularly those with mobility issues or those with younger children. The wards are frequently crowded, not helped by having corridors being used to store/park trolleys, laundry bins and the like. The refreshment facilities are one small Costa cafe, which has good range of beverages and snacks, but at a price. The vending machines are similarly expensive to buy from, not always with healthy options available. On the subject of food, the hospital provides meals, but seemingly lacking range in the healthier options and if you are vegan and you are having a planned residency, it would be advantageous to bring your own food, if possible. The staff, as is well documented, are clearly 'swimming against the tide', but invariably, they perform their duties with care and compassion, regardless of the, sometimes, unpleasant nature of patients.Criticism negative and positive seems, to be taken seriously by staff members and any shortcomings that can be identified, are addressed as soon as possible, but patience towards all staff is important, the work is difficult and much more often than not, the NHS staff continue to perform miracles to help everyone
lisa davies: Been going for physiotherapy for a few weeks, easy to find the physio department, not so easy to park but busses are regular
Emma Harper: My daughter was admitted Thursday 22nd with an ongoing issue with her ovaries and cysts along with infection, she’s not eaten since then and now last night Tuesday 27th of June went into A&E at 7pm crippled with pain and sickness again with the same issues and still waiting at 6am this morning to be seen all the time the nurses were laughing and joking weighing themselves on scales and talking about their pet dogs. She asked for pain meds and she waited and waited she was curled up on a chair in the waiting area in pain and nothing!! I’m beyond disgusted and this is not the NHS that we loved and known for many years, she didn’t even get any standard care it’s shocking!!!
Laura Jade: My daughter spent some time in the children's ward after becoming ill. The staff checked on her often and made doing the test etc fun for her. The staff were absolutely lovely and my daughter still asks me when we're going back to hospital because she enjoyed her time there so much! XD
mark footman: First if all I will get one thing straight I have no complaints about the care staff that are dealing directly with my mother on a day to day basis they all seem wonderful and caring a special thank you to Mercy who is a ray of sunshine on the ward. It is the total lack of communication and competence of the people above that are the problem. The system is definitely broken . Disgraceful lack of compassion and coordination . The fundamentals of care from cradle to the grave don't seem to count once you have got old. Bean counters rule by the feel of it . Lack of funding and lack of organisation has broken this system. To say that I am angry with being fobbed off and not having answers to questions put or people getting back to me who should. Meetings for me to attend only giving me 15minutes notice that they are even going to happen. Just about says it all . It does not pay to try to do the right thing in this country any more ..
Jason Simms: We were in A&E for 2 days.
Jeffrey Cross (Twoswarms): These nurses are fighting for a decent & fair wage since Covid. They had to put their lives on the line , they were working short-staffed every shift.Clapping to show our appreciation is a joke. They need support... When is the government going to give way...our health service is in meltdown. This should be its top priority.UK is becoming third world economy!
JOHN WRAY: Very efficient when visiting outpatients.
RizLa: Doctors saying two different things. Giving two different instructions. Very poor service. Blood stains on the walls and floor in rooms where people are left for hours on end. Very upsetting.
Marios Theodoulou: Long wait in the A&E department. I went with my little boy there and the nurse told us that the average waiting time is 18 hours.
jane thornton: World class care and treatment. From our arrival at A&E to discharge from CCU. I cannot thank every single member of staff enough for the speedy professional caring treatment my husband Simon MANDEL received
Stuart Smith: Fantastic staff at CCU, thanks for really looking after me
Andrew Chick: I’ve spent the last 2 days in Clydach ward, Morriston hospital. I can’t speak highly enough about all the members of staff working there. They were all amazing and really looked after me, making my stay as comfortable and stress free as possible. Thank you all!!!
Stuart Gibson: Went in to DKA, team there saved my life .. what more can i say ?professional and all had a great sense of humour which got me througheternally grateful
Porcaria de pessoa que usa cheats uso cheats: Very sad to let people die due to incompetence
Ellie Ferguson: Can't fault the service, staff were lovely, surgeons amazing. In an emergency situation couldn't have asked for better.

Singleton Hospital: what do users think?
Allison Busher: Had a operation the staff were absolutely amazing and made me feel less anxious thank you 💓💓
Andrew Morcom: Great NHS service but the building is starting to look its age
Marisol Orellana: I went to have a blood test and all the staff are very friendly ☺️
Jason Thomas: Friendly and welcoming atmosphere, lovely little hospital
Abdullah Al-Metwali: There's a sexy porter there and he was very helpful
Rhys Bateman: Terrible experience give us a date and time to come down to be induced made us wait hours upon end for nothing to be done not allowed to stay over night with my partner because of covid but there’s no covid restrictions in place here unbelievable most midwives have bad attitude will never want to come here again nothing but stress this experience has been
Kriss Ceuca: Midwife team are amazing, very caring and helpful, listened and answered to all my questions and concerns. Birth pool rooms look great too! Definitely recommend.
Ann Jones: All staff great. Friend had eyes. injection every 13 weeks only problem is parking Car. .
John Butt: Amazing!! The RACE team were very quick in seeing me and finding out what was wrong with my eye...absolutely amazing team and thank you so much
Colin Tilley: Often take partners brother there
Anya Russell: I have had nothing but cancelled appts from dermatology, never seem to answer the phone and despite leaving 2 messages asking for a call back, I get absolutely nothing.Second time I'm complaining about the receptionist not doing their jobs properly.
Colin Pamplin: Helped us both a lot during my wife's chemo treatment
Ken Crowley: Was actually thinking after 22 years getting treated for a old issue from late 1999 after January 2001 was placed upon retro virals which seemed to distort my though process after 6 years of banging my head it was established that these were common symptoms of Original Virals. They were yellow carded after I’d been following them. The H I V consultant seems to be big fish within Swansea as he’s gotten his fingers stuck within a lot of NHS contracts. As result it’s impacting upon his patient’s. Shall be changing Doctors in January as Singleton hasn’t helped if anything they hindered by cancellation of appointments. It was usually more helpful though now it requires replacement staff though out as there under lying attitude towards patients like Morriston who have the neck to expect uderstanding though are so quick to explain what there issues are telling patients that what the costs are especially our insurance company was dealing with the second class NHS which aren’t fit for purpose. Should privatise the NHS as most insurance providers don’t do second class and being fair when mr N Bevan founded NHS there was far less medical issues around and population made it possible as 88% were working and paying contributions.Since the Tories took over everything is gone bad from basic services to private sector as the Government have bought this about.
Charlotte Campion: Physio centre was a great help.
Craig “craigie boy” Beavan: My daughter was treated like a princess there while being ill with scepsis, cant thank the nurses and doctors and cleaners enough, the kind words and reassurance helped me and my wife through tough time and not forgetting my daughter recovered through medical skill of all staff. THANK YOU SINGLETON HOSPITAL.
Caitlin Morgan: Gynaecology centre is shocking. The secretary I had was never in, never answered her phone. I have tried to contact others but can’t get through, I have left countless messages and none have been answered. Really sad considering I waited on the waiting list for so long to not even be attended to.Update:After a long process I finally saw the gynaecologist Ms Knight a couple times, she failed to diagnose me and after and nhs investigation she made numerous mistakes even calculating a test wrong. Thankfully I saw a private gynaecologist who diagnosed me in 10 minutes with a simple calculation. The gynaecologist here was impossible to contact and get an appointment with, it definitely wasn’t worth it as she recommend birth control as an easy solution without finding the problem.Do not recommend waiting on a waiting list, then on the receptionist, then on an appointment list to see this gynaecologist.
Sylvia Mska: Very friendly and professional people
Jesse: I was meant to get a blood test done today. I asked the staff where I need to go and was completely ignored. Then told to rebook because I was fifteen minutes late due to not knowing where to go.
Sarmila Sathees: I stayed in gynaecology ward 4 and they were very friendly and revived great service from the staffs.
Karlee Tucker: our beautiful twinnies couldn’t stay in for much longer …. They decided to make an appearance via c-section on Thursday 22nd September 2022 (33weeks and 5days) ♥️ it’s fair to say it’s been one emotional week for me Tom and the family Firstly We’d like to thank all labour ward staff and midwife’s at SINGLETON HOSPITAL Swansea for making myself and Tom feel so comfortable and welcome it did not go unnoticed, the consultants and team for giving me and Tom an unforgettable experience! HMT Sancta Maria Hospital: what do users think?
paul williams: My was paid to see a maxillofacial consultant at santa maria 2019 £150 what a waste of time and money spent we even went back a second time he wrongly diagnosed my wife only now is getting better had treatment out of the erea don't go here shop around first
Becca: Sancta Maria was such a lovely hospital for my procedure. The staff from my consultant down to the ladies after recovery were fantastic and constantly making sure I was ok. The hospital is clean, welcoming and all members of staff were so friendly.
jayne burn: Poor experience trying to facilitate surgery. Hospital cannot help as consultant not employed by them.Wouldn't recommend
John Cooper: Excellent first class service, very friendly and professional staff
Vicky Powell: Very clean hospital, all the staff were super helpful and friendly and would definitely go back here again for surgery 😊
Benjamin Bryant: Attended an interview for nursing position. Complete silence after the interview despite being told they would contact me to let me know if I had got the position. No feedback, no communication whatsoever, ignored all my emails requesting feedback. Not impressed by this experience!
Julja Viwnevska: My experience in Sancta Maria hospital was absolutely great ! I had a plastic surgery with one night stay ! All staff were amazing since I arrived, reception staff friendly and helpful, big thank to lady (I think she is student ) her name is Hibo , she was was with me since I get in my ward , made me so calm and comfortable, we had so much laugh what helped me a lot before surgery ! My anesthetist James Leary super professional, he discussed everything with me before surgery , gave me confidence that I’m on right hands and he will look after me ! He checked how I feel after surgery and next day too ! Much appreciated! All staff were absolutely amazing and caring 10 of 10 and catering lady so kind and provide nice food what you can choose! Of course massive thanks to my plastic surgeon prof. Whitaker, very professional, kind and answer all your questions! I’m on recovery period now and still will have 2 after care appointments , hopefully it’s will be same experience!
Sarah Gadd: The facilities are lovely...but the admin is seriously lacking. I'm constantly having to chase for appointments, paperwork is late or doesn't turn up at all. I was "missed" when I turned up for an ultrasound, even though I was 10mins early for my appointment I was seen 45mins late. Wouldn't go here again.
Merryl Lloyd: Poor service. Quick to take your money upfront but planned surgery was cancelled the day before it was due.False information given as to the reasons why it was cancelled at short notice.Consultant went above and beyond to rectify situation at another hospital. Complaint made and no response. AVOID AT ALL COST......
Susan Mitchell: Had hip replacement April 2022 and still in pain 6months after operation. After paying £12k was told would need blood tests and Xrays at another expense luckily I was able to have on NHS was told nothing wrong with hip. Consultant has said he will see me in December. Need the other hip replaced but will not be contacting Sancta Maria
Liam Grace: My experience at HMT Sancta Maria hospital, from initial consultation through to undergoing surgery, was second to none. All staff members were friendly and polite, all areas were kept clean and maintained, and I was made to be comfortable during any of my visits.I would particularly like to thank Mr Hiew for his incredible performance with my medical procedure.
Caleb Thorrington: Had an operation with Mr Hiew a few months ago and i'm very happy with how everything went. All the staff were caring and understanding and the whole experience overall was very positive. Thank you.
Nadine Barnes: Just come back from Sancta Maria hospital Swansea and the staff and nurses there are amazing! So caring and compassionate 🙏 thankyou .Nothing was to much for them .
Ibrahim Atay: Mrk I've been waiting for doctor for 1 hour what is the lan are we just a customer or what
Ian Davies: After a slight mix up to begin with consultants and all staff were brilliant through some trying times (my body's fault). Friendly, approachable and explained in plain English which was refreshing. I'd recommend Sancta Maria if you needed the service.
Lyndon Evans: Had a procedure with Dr hiew at sancta Maria. The staff there were really friendly and they made my whole stay and recovery very comfortable. However the result from the procedure (gynaecomastia surgery) is terrible. I tried speaking to the hospital of the process if unhappy with the results but they basically said it's between me and the surgeon and nothing to do with them (even though I paid £5k to sancta Maria not the surgeon).I expressed my severe dissatisfaction with the surgeon around 6 weeks after the procedure during my post surgery consultation, but he wasn't interested in fixing it he tried to convince me that it was a god result. He did not even address half the issue that I went there for surgery in the first place. Before the surgery he showed me a number of before and after photos... I noticed that he did not with to take an after photo. This demonstrates he was not genuinely pleased with the results. In summary, I need to have the same surgery performed again. The worst thing about it, I borrowed funds to pay for it. It is a huge regret that I had this done here. My confidence is perhaps lower than it was before and now it has caused anxiety and mental health issues that were not present prior to this surgery here.I would recommend travelling abroad. I know people personally, who have gone to Turkey and Poland for the same procedure. Their results are far better and an even greater transformation. It's also a fraction of the price.People go on about the after care here that makes it worth choosing to stay here for surgery, but there really is no after care. It's just like the fuel...it's the same product as in other countries but at a hugely inflated price.
Math Davies: Absolutely terrible service from Dr AMEETH SANUThe hospital itself is nice and the facilities are great but patient care is terrible. They lack any sort of communication skills and really have no empathy for people who need help. After a consultation I was quoted a price for a bilateral ear surgery and just before entering surgery I was told the price was only for 1 ear and the next operation would be a 6 month wait. All of this should be discussed in a consultation AMEETH SANU.Money and time has been wasted on appointments prior to the surgery date and I would never turn to a private hospital again for any treatment.Money is what they are in business for and patient care is clearly not on their priority list. The customer service personnel was the only nice part of it all, I don't know the staff members name but they could actually empathize with me, although they didn't even have a record of the the payments I had made for the pre surgery tests. The NHS and private care needs a good shake up because its staff are really dragging the reputation down, It has very little do with funding or capital but organisation, communication and patient care.
Andrew Glen: 3 days before the procedure, and they still can't give me formal final price for a private procedure!. Had one written price out of the three potential invoices, 12 days before the proposed procedure. Who on earth would commit to anything without firstly knowing how much you would be paying, in total? This is not without exhaustive efforts to chase down and beg for the final costs. They seemed confused why I decided to withdraw 3 days before the procedure, because of this? Very concerning lack of control/organisation/communication/customer care, etc. I stayed polite, and calm, but had to politely widthdraw. Obviously. Massive shame. Very disappointed. If this medical issue continues, I will most definitely be contacting an alternative provider.
Lily Kriescher: 👎
Julie Harvey: From the moment I arrived I felt very safe and comfortable. Had a ear operation with Dr Sanu and was definitely in safe hands. Would definitely recommend him. All the staff are very friendly and the hospital is spotless. Can’t thank everyone enough
Craig Short: An absolute fantastic hospital. I have used the old Sancta Maria previously, however their new hospital is what was needed. The staff are amazing coupled with the great facilities, rooms and service means your care is exceptional!A great big shout out and thank you to Mr Fenn and his staff along with my anaesthetist team and nursing team. You guys couldn’t have done anything more.Quick, professional, reliable and overall outstanding healthcare.A credit to the private industry.

The IGP - Private Doctors - Swansea: what do users think?
Susan Musker: As a visitor from Australia and after waiting many hours at Casualty Morriston hospital for help after a head injury I had sustained I left unsatisfied and sought the help from IGP. I was impressed by firstly by the caring and helpful way I was triaged on the telephone and then by an appointment with a Medical practitioner that was given to me me in Cardiff I couldn’t have made a better decision to get some private assistance and can highly recommend the help I received from IGP. Efficient, caring and first class throughout. Thank you
Paul Cho: Very 👍. It's so useful and helpful. I love 💘it.
