Sarah O'Neill: Lovely friendly professional nursery. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed, the children are happy. I knew my two boys would love it there from their first visit. My eldest has thrived from the Montessori approach, becoming confident and independent. There is also a lovely outdoor space where the children spend as much time as possible.
Morgwen Adams: My son's been going since he was 9months old and has developed amazingly since. He has become a very social and independent character, with lots of determination. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and my son is always happy and excited to go to them. The setting itself is always bright and airy and facilitates the Montessori principles of education. I would definitely recommend The Children's Room to anyone in the area.

My daughter has really come out of her shell since attending the nursery. The resources are fantastic, with lots of variety and choice for the children, and it has really calm and tranquil vibe.

Their ethos is based on child lead learning. Each child is treated as an individual and praised for their own merits. I have worked in education for a long time and feel that The Children's Room has the right balance of applying the curriculum with focused learning and allowing children to develop at their own pace through purposeful play by also giving them real life experiences.Their open door feel is welcoming. I would choose The Children's Room every time and will always recommend them. We love it there.
Gillian Jackson: Both of our children have benefitted immensely from attending the children's room. It offers a calm and loving environment to learn and grow, nurturing friendships along the way. The staff are lovely, consistent and highly trained in the Montessori tradition. This allows for completely child lead learning with lots of supports and guidance. Our children have developed intellectually and emotionally as a result and we feel valued as parents, a part of the childrens room family.

Our beautiful Grade II listed, four-storey Georgian townhouse nursery is located just outside Swansea City Centre and we have our own parking, making your drop-offs and pick-ups both safe and easy for you and your little ones.
Our all-around nursery care supports your child and their development from baby age, through to toddler, through to preschool and we also offer a drop-off and pick-up service when they first start school, up to the age of 8 as well as summer holiday clubs.
We offer flexible, full or part-time session options for you and we are open Monday to Friday 07.30 to 18.30, except on Bank Holidays. We are often able to accommodate additional hours of care at short notice if your work commitments or plans change and we will do everything we can to support you and your child.
We accept all major Childcare Vouchers and we welcome any government funding schemes.
The cost of our childcare includes freshly prepared and varied meals and snacks (breakfast, lunch and tea) and our kitchen has a 5-Star Environmental Health Award.

Smartyre Mobile tyres: Fantastic nursery! My three children went to Abacus and have all been very happy there. My 3 year old loves playing with her friends and is very happy with the staff. The best things are the wonderful staff and huge range of enjoyable activities. These range from meeting dogs and tortoises to playing in the garden, soft play and messy play. The kids love getting messy and babies especially learn a lot I think. I've been impressed by the range of nutritious food which has helped with new food at home. Clare Thomas: My son and daughter have both attended Abacus and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The nursery is warm and welcoming and the staff friendly but professional. They ensure the children undertake a wide range of activities and are provided with a range of healthy home cooked foods. It’s never easy entrusting your children’s care to someone else but Abacus make it easier knowing they are well cared for.
GEMMA COPP: Absolutely fantastic nursery. I was a bit apprehensive about sending my little son to nursery for the first time after being at home for his first 16 months but the staff were very professional, friendly and personable and answered all our questions and were very comforting and reassuring, especially as we were unable to look around due to Covid restrictions. They have a variety of activity rooms and facilities such as a garden, soft play and sensory rooms for the children to explore and enjoy. They do lots of fun and educational activities through the day and have been very proactive in trying to meet all my child’s needs. After missing my child all day, I very much look forward to getting the daily report back in both written form and verbally off staff as it gives us an insight into all the lovely, fun and educational activities he’s done during the day as well as all the delicious healthy, homemade food he’s enjoyed. I feel comfortable that my child is being well looked after and that the staff are genuinely caring and experienced. Initially chosen by positive word of mouth, for their nurturing, educational, caring and healthy ethos and because they are award winning. I would fully recommend this nursery.

Every single member of staff is kind, caring and has a genuine interest in the wellbeing of the children. I get regular updates via the app and can check in on my daughter regularly. I can see what she’s eating, get updates of her playing and learning with friends and the lovely staff. I highly recommend Ty Hapus and truly believe could not have picked a better nursery for my daughter. She is well looked after, learns new things daily and has developed into a well rounded toddler with great social skills - which I personally attribute highly to attending here. I feel confident that she will do well settling in school with everything she has learned at Ty Hapus.
