Nicholaston Farm Caravan & Camp Site: what do users think?

Margo Jon-Dare: Beautiful place, with the cleanest facilities and a walkable distance from the beach. We love returning here! Thank you for your dedication and hospitality 😊 we were one of the last campers to leave in 2023 and already cannot wait for 2024 season!Walkability: Able to walk to the beach!

Gwyn Taylor: Great site, short stay, excellent facilities and really good shopLocation: 4/5 …

Cara Kö: Great location, wonderful view of the sea - great organization in reception / great shop and delicious cappuccino in the morning!Everything was super clean and tidy.We felt very comfortable.

Cumbrian Lass: Such a beautiful location I'd give it 5 stars for that in itself. The beaches are incredible. The views are fantastic from many of the pitches. However the facilities are also second to non and all of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Toilets and showers are immaculate and a well stocked shop adds to the convenience of this site. Our first time here and we can't wait to go back. One of the best we've ever visited. I only wish it was open a few more months each year for motorhomes as I'm sure it's equally gorgeous in winter.Walkability: The beach is down a steep path...Great if you are mobile. It's definitely worth making an effort though as there are miles of beautiful golden sands in both directions. Nice walk to Oxwich or Three Cliffs Bay with fresh water streams available on route to either...the dogs loved it as much as we did.Food & drinks: We've visited Oxwich Bay Hotel many times over the years and it still feels very special, although it was extremely busy on a hot weekend in August. Nice cool beers, but we didn't eat this time.

Graham Sparks: Lovely campsite with great facilities. Great views of the sea and a fabulous beach. Will diffently will be coming back.

Madison Brooke: Great spot for those hoping to explore the Gower. Amenities were clean and in plenty. Locality is perfect. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Campground shop is very reasonably priced. Thoroughly enjoyed our last minute stay here.Mark kindly was able to swap the booking to our name when our friends could no longer make it - so glad we were able to take it.Stayed in the Wood Path area in a camper van without any ramps and was able to find a flat enough spot to comfortably sleep.Again would I highly recommend.

River View Touring Park: what do users think?

Joel Guest: We had a lovely few days at River View Touring. The site is easily accessible from a major road. Very fairly priced for a bank holiday weekend. Toilet and shower facilities spotless. Only two showers but never fully occupied. A nice little bar and sheltered area on site. Electric is metered but only cost about £7 for 3 nights of medium-heavy use. Only criticism would be the kids play park could do with updating and gets very muddy. Overall a pleasant and peaceful site.

Greg Skellorn: with a five min drive to lots of amenities including a large supermarket and BRILLIANT pub/restaurant

Rosamund Bowler: Really good caravan site. Very secure. We stayed on the lower level but there was another section up another connecting road, but this was out of sight. The pitches were immaculate and decent size and the toilet/shower block immaculate too. Very good service block for water and emptying also. A nice quiet site by a fast-flowing river. There's a little shop selling essentials and the owners are close-by and contactable by phone. Electric hook-up is pay-at-the-end. You have to note your reading when you leave and pay what is owed. Ours was £1.12 after four wintry days and nights.Well placed for Swansea, Mumbles and the Brecon Beacons.Would definitely visit again

Machael Craig: The Metropolitan Boutique Suites were a haven of sophistication in the heart of the city. The suites' chic design and modern amenities provided a comfortable urban refuge. The concierge was attentive and helped us discover trendy local spots. The central location made exploring the city's cultural scene a breeze. A stay here is a taste of cosmopolitan luxury.

Robert McCulloch: Only fault i wd give is electrical supply was pretty ridiculous, couldn,t boil a kettle or use the microwave or it tripped. Really needs to be addressed, especially since you are paying the meter reading at the end of your stay. But all said & done a great holiday.Rooms: Hotel questions are not applicable as was a caravan holiday.

Pitton Cross Caravan Park: what do users think?

Owen James: Supper friendly owners who went above and beyond when I broke downService: 5/5 …

David Townsend: A wonderful site. Lovely people running the place and only a short distance from Rhosilli. If you follow the public right of way paths through a couple of cow fields, it also has its own hidden gem. But I won't spoil the adventure for you.

Jacqui Evans: Only there for a weekend .Very helpful staff. Even helped when I made mistaken on booking. Shower room and toilet are dated in decor but very clean.Down side no buses on Sunday so had to use car. This add to congestion on small country roadsNearby activities: BeachsSafety: Staff on site, checking that all was well when went to the toilet late at nightWalkability: Beaches will need mobility

Oxwich Camping Park: what do users think?

Nicky T: A lovely campsite, a little strict on the no radio / music... but a lovely location close to oxwhich bay. Clean toilets, good showers. Friendly staff. Quiet camping. Recommend to anyone who wishes to stay local to oxwhich and walking distance to beach.

Jane Stanley: Great experience

martyn slater: Access to this site is difficult as there is a narrow lane leading to it with few passing places . Be cautious if you are towing a trailer and do not attempt it with a caravan l once you get past that issue , the camp is lovely with very friendly and welcoming staff . A very peaceful stay with a pleasant walk to the beach sand dunes and rock pools . Very reasonably priced with clean facilities . Would definitely recommend and will be returning

Zoe: Average high campsite, a bit sloped. Showers have to pay 20 pence for 7 minutes of hot water. I liked the firm respect for silence after dark. Very good location for Oxway Bay beach, about 10-15 min walking.

Janet James: Lovely campsite within a few minutes walk to the lovely Oxwich bay.Very helpful owners that allowed us to charge my phone overnight, the site is surrounded by trees and has great views of the bay and castle, it was kept spotless with great recycing amenities. The area is great for walking and if you are lucky you may see the seals, dolphins and ponies.

Kelly King: Very nice park, you do need to take 20p with you for hot water in the shower block. Also have to take your own loo roll when using toilets. Very clean and well kept.

Sarah: First time camping and what a time we had. Great campsite, fabulous location only a short walk from the beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of great walks nearby, perfect location for those wanting to explore the Gower.

Gapperelle: Good campsite with great location.Hotel highlights Quiet …

Daniel Wilson: Location: 5/5

anthony james: Always use to come here as a kid with my family. And now with my own children. Only 2 nights with friends this time and hadn't been for a while. Amazing 👏 forgot how much I loved staying here. Really well maintained and staff have always been great. Really good shop and great food at Eddie's. I'm looking forward to a longer stay next year .

Sally: The location is lovely : you really are amid the dunes and the beach and Worms Head are wonderful. The lodges are really very high quality and very well maintained and cleaned. The people working at Hillend are very friendly and helpful.Nearby activities: The beach is superb

Owain Riseborough: the shop also does a freezer block rental at £1.40 per block £1 being a returnable depost. Very handy.

Skysea Caravan and Camping Site: what do users think?

Christine Koeller: We have just returned from two nights spent in our Motorhome at Skysea Caravan and Camping. It was the stormiest two nights over New Year that we have ever experienced. Winds up to 70 mph and rain and hailstones lashing it down. It was a fabulous stay. Welcoming, reassuring and friendly proprietors. Warm and cosy in both the Smugglers Beach and the Ship Inn - 5min walk away. Even a walk on the beach when the weather broke for a while.Highly recommendable!

Michael Palmer: Best Caravan and Camping Park on Gower. Next to beach, beautifully maintained, a superb family run site, CCTV night and day. Good for dogs, only 2dogs allowed, must be kept on lead at all times, when on the Park, great for children. Owner's Mr and Mrs R Grove. Disabled Shower Facilities and Family Rooms, all free of charge. Highly Recommended. Electric 16amp points if required. Stunning scenery and views. Review by Michael Palmer.

LFC markeb: next to no WiFi except for a paid for suffice a few quid for 2 hours or so.. camp shop had what you may need with regards supplies, adjacent village had 2 F&S shops general store 2 decent pubs with outside areas. electric hookup, 2 shower/toilet blocks, one refurbished to a high standard, the other site for refurbishment shortly.. access to coastal areas at both ends of site. beach is both sandy and has areas of rocks.. as a getaway recommended👍

Chris Preddy: Fantastic location.. good facilities.. small shop on site.. friendly and helpful hosts. Definitely return.

Gary Sandbrook: and the weather was absolutely foul on two of our five days there; as such we were in need of some aid, more than once, and the lovely Tracey was there to help each time on the three different occasions we needed it. This need involved laundry, cooking and emergency footwear!Martin reminds me of a friendly football coach; firm but fair, and you feel comfortable in his presence. The Disclaimer on the website says this is a No Nonsense, family oriented campsite, and the main man makes sure it does what it says on the tin; Top Banana! The facilities are good. Clean washroom areas with hot showers and piped radio; decent laundry room and a shop selling essentials. The only thing I'd improve is the cell phone signal, but that depends on who your provider is

Cae Glas Camping: what do users think?

xgbdx: so bare this in mind.

Thomas Beech: A fabulous stay at Cae Glas Camping. We were in the Cwtch Tent which was delightful inside with beds and bedding provided for four. The facilities are great to have access to given some campsites don't, they were clean and plenty of bin space is provided for anything required. The views are what sell the place truly, outstanding in any direction. There is chickens, sheep, alpacas and two extremely friendly and playful sheepdogs on the campsite too which give it a unique feel. We hired a firepit with wood for £10 which made our night that little bit better. We spoke to the owners daughters who were very helpful. I'd highly recommend anyone stay here.

Peri Rogers: Great weekend away with the family. Owners were lovely and brought the Alpacas to us to see before their walk. Lovely cafe with great pizzas and waffles on site. Stunning views, you wouldn’t believe it was Swansea. Didn’t mind the wake up call from the chickens, they were so friendly coming up to our teepee. Definitely recommend. No plugs for a hair dryer but the weather was on our side to air dry it quickly. Shower/toilet facilities were the best we’ve seen, very clean and maintained.

mark Corneloues: What an unbelievable campsite to stay at. 3 of us bikers rode up from Hampshire to ride the ystradgynlais loop. Pitched our tents here for 2 nights. Location and views are phenomenal. Mel and Aaron were lovely hosts. Had breakfast and evening meals throughout our stay. Well worth hiring the firepit for the weekend. Great value all round. Just returned home and want to go back already. A must stay place if you want to ride the fantastic roads that are on offer here. Thanks so much to Mel and Aaron for letting us be there. Will be back very soon.Mark Corneloues

Marjorie Pfeiffer: Very good time shared with family. The manager is very friendly. My children really fell in love with the alpacas 😍.The view is beautiful !!!!

Joanne Gilbert: . Highly recommend this friendly site and when we come back to the Brecon Beacons we will look forward to a second stay. Hopefully I will have more time to spend with your lovely alpacas when we do x

Anna Mackay: Awesome stay here - the views were amazing and the campsite was exactly what we were after; great location and facilities with a personal touch. The hosts were lovely and went above and beyond with our breakfast order even delivered to our van. Would definitely stay here again!

Vikki Goodwin: . There was also a cooler to keep drinks etc in. The bed was really comfy and the whole lodge looked immaculate and clean. Luckily the sun came out the next afternoon and we enjoyed the 4 waterfalls walk which was amazing but very tiring so it was great to have pizza and a dip in the hot tub under the stars back at the lodge. I’ve honestly never seen stars like we saw here, they were amazing and so bright! When we woke up the next morning to the bright sunshine we really got to appreciate the views around us. We had some chickens join us for breakfast and a sheep came to say hello to me on the way to the toilets

Lucy Looker: Brilliant stay here! Hosts were so kind and accommodating! Food was amazing and veiws were stunning. Gorgeous country side, quiet and secluded but close to local attractions. Very back to nature. Could possibly do with one more toilet and shower room but the people and beautiful surroundings more than made up for it. Fantastic value for money, would absolutely go again!

South Wales Touring Park Llwynifan Farm: what do users think?

Claire Elizabeth Phenna: This place is absolutely amazing. We had a warm welcome from Hwyel. The pitches were of a good size. The facilities were exceptional. If you have a dog, our two Dachshunds had the best time in the dog field, they loved it. The site is quiet and a fantastic place to escape from all the hustle and bustle. Beautiful site with beautiful surroundings. Can't recommend this place enough. Thank you Hwyel and Cathrin for making our stay absolutely outstanding.

sally briggs: This site definitely deserves the 5 stars it has been awarded, everything is just first class.Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view …

Sandra Hunt: Fantastic little site with spectacular views. The owners do a fantastic job keeping everywhere spotless and tidy, and couldn't be more helpful and welcoming. Despite the weather being very changeable, it didn't stop us getting out and about. Visited tenby, St davids, brecon beacons, carmarthen, Llandeilo Town and Castle, Kidwelly Castle, Pembury forest and beach, Llandovery and other places which we might not have done if the weather had been too hot. A lovely holiday in South Wales made even better by staying on a great site

Brian Wilson: Best caravan site in Wales, clean, tidy, modern showers and toilet and pitches with a view.Location: 5/5 …

Open fire camping: what do users think?

Ewan Dance: Lovely little campsite! Top notch views of the surrounding hills, 15 minute walk to the pub, nice clean facilities and a very friendly cat. What more could you want!

Jonathan Legg: Stunning location. Friendly and helpful management.Washing up sink was a bit temperamental.

Dominykas Samsonas: It was great and friendly. The campsite is a bit in the open so can get a bit windy.

Barry Williams: Great campsite and Motorcycle friendly. Facilities were clean and tidy and I was able to borrow a fire pit for free, rather than having to 'rent' one. I bought some good kiln dried firewood from the site which lasted me the night but I go to bed early, so maybe get 2 bags! I will be back again.

Mish B: Great site, there were 9 of us that visited for the weekend, beautiful views. The owner Steve was pleasant and informative. Facilities were clean but basic. Would definitely visit again sometime soon

Nikki Bradley: Lovely little site, lots of beautiful scenery and fantastic walks. Being able to have a fire pit was a nice touch.toilets and showers were very clean.

Aby Harris: Beautiful location, perfect little campsite! Sadly only got to stay one night after torrential rain and a very leaky tent! Will definitely be back to explore the area in the future.

Chris Packet: Very nice. We will be back for sure

Andrew Williams: A good place for out doors people

carl thornton: Brilliantly peaceful location. Our first visit would come back. Can have a fire and bring your own wood. Well spaced out pitches so not on top of each other

Darren Shepherd: Lovely little site
