Sunderland College Bede Campus: what do users think?
Susannah Moon: This review is based on my daughters first 2 years at college. My daughter studied performing arts with this college, Sheree Rymer was the Head of Faculty and Jonathan was one of my daughters lecturers. My daughter started this course during the onset of Covid which lasted 2 years. She's not a confident girl who managed to make a few friends. Unfortunately, one of these girls had concerning problems at home leaving my daughter worried about her.The girls parents were secretly massaging and calling my daughter asking her questions about her friend (Their daughter who's 17), my daughter told her friend what the parents were saying, so they rang my daughter kicking off which later resulted in them contacting the school requesting their daughter be kept away from mine. Sheree became involved as she was a personal friend of the girls mother and told my daughter she was not allowed to be a friend with this girl outside of college. My daughter was told her grades would be a triple merit, but when this entire thing was happening the tutor Jonathan changed his attitude completely towards my daughter being mean on a regular occasion. They knew she wanted to go to uni so instead they downgraded her marks to passes. But, now these tutors are using her as an example in their performing arts class to encouragethem to do better. I'm sorry but tutors should not be personally getting involved or using this as ammunition to punish people. Taking advantage of their position is disgusting.
Roy Graham: Roy GrahamSee me grils
Cara Taylor: The Health and Social Care department is disgraceful, went there for 2 years and had no support for my disability, they knew I was on chemo and made me walk up to the board in front of the class, gave my physio comfort chair to other students to sit on while I was in the same class as them, they don't allow students helping each other in class.I failed my maths and English gcses but wasn't allowed in the SEN support class despite being autistic and having discalculia.
John Stephens: Welcoming friendly staff and Campus
Lyndsey Jordinson: My son loves going to this collage he is autistic and the teachers are lovely with him
Visvanthan Tharmalingam: My Son love it.
Talha Mahmood Shafi: Best campus for ESOL and GCSE subjects all the Teachers are At their best !!
Marc Hodgkinson: What an absulute shambles! My son was trying to get advice on the right course for his future carreer. We were met with promise of returned phone call that never happen. Career advertised in courses that dont actually cover that subject. This is kids futures and they just cant get their act together to speak and advise them
Irina Kargapolovaite: Very very nice
Thomas Middlemist: Good rockon
Samia jannat: Sunderland college was very good...
lisa Richardson: Great college with very helpful staff.
richard waite: Very friendly staff
Nicole Minchell: my friend a former colleague of yours has been treated horribly i think she didn’t get told until today that she had to leave and they weren’t keeping her when realistically she’s best one there so u better sort u sel out n get a wesh
Joseph McCloud: I applied for English and maths only to be forwarded to Michael hall who works in the Disability department who tries burying things under the rug and keeps me waiting for weeks, months to be placed on a course only to be told that my only option would be emotional and behavioural development.I shouldn't have my ability to choose taking away and being told what course options are available to me, I feel like I'm being treated like a criminal rather than a equal because I have disability I should be supported, advised, not for my name to be somehow blacklisted, flagged to be forwarded to a incompetent disability support team which is trying it's best at the moment from denying potential disabled student applicants the educational opportunity, help they do deserve.
B D: A terrible place to study.
fragile1966: This is Washington Campus at 6:55pm my break is over at 7pm l will not be getting my coffee. There was not any hot food at my 4pm break either. What's going on...
Leona Vale: They offer no support to students who have been victims of abuse or sexual violence. I know from personal experience. They made me sit in the classroom with the perpetrator. I wouldn't recommend this college. Especially Bede Campus.
Niall Black: Studies and staff are brilliant, especially in the sporting department... However, a security staff member stood on my hand during a discussion and the college failed to take appropriate action due to the lack of cameras and witnesses at the time. This has made me feel unsafe to continue my studies there as the security guard in question stares me down each and every time I walk past.Shame that this one incident has caused so much distress made me feel unsafe about a staff member. As the rest of my course and studies has been a pleasure.
Ricky R Richardson: Sunderland College kept me waiting for a year worth of study wasted September 2017 till march off 2018 I had to attend an open event just to get noticed the staff are very unprofessional towards dealing towards students needs such a shame the offer such a variety of courses but an educational facility lacks in its potential Michael Hall the disability advisor kept taking the mick made me feel uncared for neglected and undervalued as a person they said you'll study in September then January then finally I had to go through Michael Hall to get myself enrolled on a course big disappointment.
Sharon Hickman: Bede collage is a good collage especially the foundation learning area. My child had learning barriers and the have helped her to over come them, And gave her confidence and helped over come her anxieties. My second child will be going to this collage in the future.

Sunderland College City Campus: what do users think?
Sam Warner: Horrid actions of one of the students here. Marley hannan who studies barbering and seems to think it is ok to say that the victims of hillsborough were responsible for their own death. TThese comments are vile as they are false and many people suffer each day. This was on twitter "hillsborough was your own fans fault"
Alpine Wave: Useless, ignorant admin. staff (Bede campus), not a clue what they're doing. I gave them forms for a course because they didn't know which forms they needed, i had to tell the admin. staff what they needed. They couldn't understand the forms, even when i explained what they are for, they still couldn't understand and i have now been ignored. I am now doing the course at another college where the staff have better cognitive functioning. They really do need to go back to college!

eddie Jamesc: Dear Sunderland college. Can you please try and set some sort of Cafe inside your city campus. Students are dependent on the greggs beside. This is making it difficult for members of the public to get in mornings, late mornings and afternoons. This change has also made an impact on surrounding ashbrooke area, by an inconvenient parking scheme.
Victoria Cambrook: Great open evening at City Campus. Lots of enthusiastic, informative staff. My son left the evening feeling happy with the choice of the course he is going to do in September. Thanks
Joan Hartley: We were at the Bistro for a Christmas evening meal. The food was quite nice but portions are fairly small. From start to finish our meal took 4 hours. Service was painfully slow.
Jacqueline Jacques: Very rude, spitting students. Utterly vile.
Mel Milner: Lovely food. All the students and lecturer are excellent. Thoroughly enjoyable eveningNew lunchtime menu was excellent. Corned beef should be tried, it's not what you think.....
Theresa Mercer: Came into the barbers with a friend who had an appointment.Got my own cut back into its layers (short cut). Very gentle, meticulous and friendly. The barbering room is profressional and comfortable.100% recommend coming and getting your hair done here! And you are helping people gain their qualifications and confidence too!
baruwa rasheed: very lovely
Gary Graham: Its restraunt open now £11 for 3 course meal
twin turbo: The food here is fantastic, in the words of Salt Bae... WOW!

University of Sunderland, City Campus: what do users think?
C: An incredibly poor experience from start to finish, the lack of quality was even clearer after attending different universities for post-grad.Expect poor teaching with even poorer attitudes from some staff and incredibly subjective marking. Course content and lectures in general were not valuable.I could not recommend.
Islamiyah Akindele: University of Sunderland, refund my tuition fee.. it's been over 2 months already and you people refused to respond to your mails , calls and even on all your social media pages.. You cancelled my admission after making payments .This is really unfair .. I made a direct transfer to you people and it's a problem to refund my money . Refund my money University of Sunderland . A1 First Aid Training Co: what do users think?
gary parker: Professional and detail .
Gavin Earnshaw: Jeff is an absolute gentleman. The training I received was incredibly informative and made really interesting and accessible.Highly recommended.
Dan Knott: Absolutely brilliant. Before I even started the course Jeff was amazingly accomodating, helping me to reboook after a personal issue that stopped me from attending my original course date. Jeff was very welcoming from the start and made the course interesting, engaging and very informative. Jeff is clearly very knowledgable in his field and provided information in a way that was easy to understand. This is the 3rd first aid course I have done and, without doubt, the best; I will come back when due for renewal and will recommend to others!
John Davies: My employers sent me on a 3 day First Aid at Work course at A1. The days were very insightful and the training was broken down into easy to digest sections. It was a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and Jeff's knowledge of First Aid was clearly evident. I really enjoyed the course. From what I gather form my employer it was very reasonably priced also.

Geoff Milne: As a Class 2 driver returning to the industry after 17 year's, I found the online UK Driver CPC Network 5 day course to be excellent. The course is set up and conducted in a professional manner, at the same time having a relaxed format.Chris and Gary have a high level of interaction with all the course attendees, discussing course material and personnel experience's from their time operating within the industry.I can recommend this company for any CPC training modules you may require.
lee scott: Being new to driving, this is a very good course, Chris, and Gary are very helpful, and informative. The online, zoom aspect of the course is very well presented, Chris can share online material and learning aids, whilst you discuss the information with him, and the other class members.I would recommend this company 100%.
