Sharpley Camping: what do users think?
Linda Flood: Great site good clean amenities, easy access to local amenities very friendly ownerService: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Stephen Massey: Lovely site.Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
mandystompin: Great place we’ll be returning in the summer and David was a lovely bloke and couldn’t be more helpful . It was NYE and we also managed to get a takeaway delivered to the site from Seaham Tandoori lovely food fast delivery thank you for a great stay see you soon 😊
Amanda French: Lovely stopover, quiet location with quiet country lanes for walking. Plenty of hot water and nice clean toilets what's not to like. Thank you for our warm welcome we'll be back.. Amanda and Paul French.
Paul: Excellent campground! The grounds are meticulously kept. Nice shower and restroom, wash sink. I rode through on my bike and camped in a tent. I would highly recommend this little campground.
Neil Armstrong: Lovely site. Nice views and perfect sunset/sunrise. Spotless facilities
Mark Taylor: A peaceful and well situated site with some excellent glamping options. Recommended every time.
gary Thomas: Very quiet site in the country side.Disappointed with the toilet and shower facilities for me.
Paula Green: Basic site, no reception or showers, friendly guy met us at entrance but it's basically a field with a toilet block. Still it's reasonably priced and worth a stay in the warmer weather as its only 4vmiles from sea front.Restrooms: Basic, clean enoughDog-friendliness: Dogs on site
James Turnbull: Just dropping extra gear off for my son and his party, but the site itself was ample big enough they had a Pod heated hot tub & fire pit, vast open play area for the kid's, so everyone happy I believe.
C Q: It's a small campsite in terms of facilities and pitch count but actually quite big with people very spaced out and a large empty space in the middle. There is just one shower but it's a good shower and given the small number of pitches adequate. I was there on a bank holiday weekend and was able to pitch and walk into shower without any queue.Toilets are fine, numerous water points placed around. Flat well drained ground to pitch on.Quiet site in terms of road traffic. Can rent fire pits, bbqs, buy wood so thats a plus.Bonus points for the chickens with the funky hair do.Only advice I'd say to anyone considering it is there appears to be a slightly discounted rate for hikers/cyclists (-£5 which is common across canpsites) but u won't get it through the website so maybe phone and pay on arrival if that's your style. I can't complain at all because I cycled up to a pitch waiting with picnic bench, firepit, bbq and wood.Would definitely recommend and come back if in the area. Very tempted by the wood fueled hot tubsRestrooms: Small but clean and adequateDog-friendliness: Plenty of dogs around and no issues
KX 500 KX 250: Brilliant little place
Albert Dickinson: Very clean tidy site Clean toilets and showerWe had no hook up but David took my mobility scooter battery and charged it up and delivered back to my van next morning we will be back to this superb siteService: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
barbara lewington: My son stayed here whilst on a charity bike ride - he said it was a lovely spacious site, with gorgeous views. The owner was super friendly and was easy to contact both by myself and my son. Would highly recommend a stay.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Trish Jordan: A great little quiet campsite just a short drive from the beach. The field was flat and well cared for. Owners very friendly and hepful. Would definitely go there again
Dan Haynes: Amazing stay. We booked a week in the bell tent. If you are looking for butlins or haven, then you'll be disappointed. It was perfect for us, peaceful and the bell tent and Wood fired hot tub amazing. Supplied with firewood to also cook over the Stove. We stayed up till midnight on several nights and watched the stars and satellites pass us by. Also got to see many shooting stars. The bathroom and toilets are basic, but more than functional and everything you need from a break from the hustle and bustle of the real world. I felt soo relaxed and my children not to mention our dog had the best time. Will definitely recommend and we will be back.
Maegan Burns: Lovely little camp site. The pod and hot tube were amazing! Couldn't have enjoyed it more. Next time I'll be camping, looking forward to coming back.
dylan rodgers: Great little campsite just outside of Seaham and Seaton Village. Can walk to the nearby pub which serves lovely food and drinks. Dog friendly also which is excellent. The toilet block is clean and the shower room is lovely! Owner is very friendly and helpful. Also a fire pit is available to hire which makes things extra special
Alison Whitham: Loved it, the grass is kept nice and short and very clean. Large field and flat with a toilet block and shower unit that is also kept nipping clean. Only 12 minutes from Seaham beach by car. Very amiable and friendly owner, even made a huge bucket load of water bombs for all the children on the site to play with as the weather was scorching hot, not many campsite owners would do that ! There are also glamping pods with personal hot tubs, well spaced out too. In all, at £15 per night for us and a motorhome, we really liked it and would definitely go again.
Patricia Ainger: We arrived with a motorhome, we could not have electric hook up but that did not matter. We found the owner to be very welcoming, and the site was lovely, we even had a sea view from where we were parked up. Lovely site.

Strawberry Hill Farm Camping and Caravan Park: what do users think?
Jamie Young: Been coming for the last few years in our tourer or campervan. Always a very nice welcome by Adam and Louise. Very clean site, showers and toilets immaculate and great home baked goods (best sausage roll outside of Greggs!!)Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Paul John East: pleasant site quiet and small ideal for caravans and motorhomes, staff are brilliant.Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Peter Lloyd Lloyd: A bit of a work in progress, a good site now with the potential of being a great one. New shower block under construction. The present one is good, nice and clean. They have a nice little tea room in the reception area. Once they smarten up the pitches and driveway, they will have a really nice site. Good bus links to Durham and the coast. Good luck to them. They even cut the grass along the roadside up to the bus stop!
Claire Allen: After being terribly let down by another site we called Strawberry Hill Farm as we were parked in a carpark after a long journey with 2 kids and our dog in the car thinking there would be no hope of having our holiday and we would have to turn around and make the long journey back home again. I was so relieved and grateful that these lovely people found room for us on their site. We arrived there a short time afterwards and was greeted by Adam & Louise who were so welcoming and couldn't be more helpful. The little tea room is lovely and the homemade cakes are amazing. The food is all cooked fresh. The facilities were clean and well maintained as were the grounds.Adam and Louise were always very helpful and informative. The site is only 10-15 minutes from Durham and local super markets etc and the beach is around 15 minutes away. Our holiday started off really badly but we feel lucky that we ended up on Strawberry Hill Farm, it's a real gem and we will definitely be returning Location was perfect for us. Only 10-15 minutes from Durham centre and local supermarkets. 15 minutes from beach and 30 minutes from Beamish Museum.Facilities were always clean and well maintained.
Tracey Foster: This camp site is really good clean and family friendly everyone is made to feel very welcome good facilities and lovely tea room with home made cakes sandwiches meals nothing too much trouble would return again..🙂Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
