Boldon Auction Galleries: what do users think?
Tom Liddle: Interesting and staff who were pleasant and helpful
paul harrison: Very nice people who run it always helpful
Kevin Stewart: Love this auction house ,I get some very nice lots here and travel an hour and a half in order to collect them , staff friendly and helpful, will continue to use them ,highly recommend this company.
Scott Davis: £6.00 PER LOT FEE when selling
Stephen Salt: Nice auction house, helpful people
Joanne Mclernon: A great place to find unusual items, and very reasonably priced good solid furniture. Friendly staff too.
Lynn Eagleton: Have used this firm for at least ten years now both buying and selling and have always been really pleased the staff and Tom and Giles very helpful knowledgeable and give good advice terms are clearly explained and the decision to proceed is left entirely up to you thanks for the service guys 👍
david nufc: Grab a bargain great atmosphere
Joyce Anne Baker: Not very helpful
Jay Smith: Have bought and sold at Boldon Auctions for many years. Always friendly and helpfull.
baby trump: Used to love this place ,but selling charges mean there is no cheap stuff now.21 percent charge PLUS £5.00 PER LOT,so,if you sell something for a tenner, you would get less than three quid.Pointless.
K M: What a waste of time! I booked an appointment over the phone to say what i had to sell. The man that answered the phone said due to the amount of things i had to sell i would have to book a slot in 2 weeks time. After the 2 week wait! I filled my car today to travel from Durham to Sunderland to be told it was just house clearance stuff, and there wouldnt be enough in it for him? Now off to Anderson and Garland tomorrow which say, 'after viewing the pictures i sent' will accept my belongings no problem? I will not buy again from Boldon auctioneer's due to being messed about. Especially when i said what i had before booking. Me and my family members have spent over £3000 during the past 14 Months at this auction.... Help the small time dudes out and remember your not Sotheby's
miles northey: I would avoid buying from this auction house. Recently won a lot online via the saleroom. The photos carefully avoided all the damaged items. Even when I called up to specifically discuss the lot no damage was mentioned. Nothing was written in the description of the damage either. When I called up after receiving the damaged items the owner...wouldn't give me his name. Wouldn't offer a refund. And all he said was we will agree to disagree and hung up on me. Probably the least professional auction house I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Have totally conned me out of my money. Avoid having the similar fate as me. Far better auction houses who are far more professional are around!
Derek: A lovely friendly place to go
Ian Norwood: Great friendly place
Kevin Gleghorn: Good advice and a simple easy process from start to finish. Thank you for a great service.
Alan Rodenby: I’m so glad that we decided to use Boldon auction gallery to auction my dad’s collection. They were excellent from start to finish, Giles even traveled down to Melton Mowbray to look at the collection. They got over 1000 items sorted and ready for auction very quickly and being able watch the auction online was excellent too. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Thanks for everything, Alan
debra ross: Very helpful auctioneer and staff, helped me to arrange delivery of my writeing desk at a very good price. A gold star service!Thank you.
Elizabeth Howliston: Just collected items from 10th Feb auction and as usual, a helpful and efficient team. Thank you Elizabeth
Sean Mccarron: Really helpful Staff, very accommodating thankyou
PAUL THOMPSON: Im likely to visit this place regularly on my 1st impressions love the atmosphere and the ease in which you can navigate around current stock previous to the auction

Rob Rowell: Very impressed with the person we met to talk about the items we were putting up for sale. She was both knowledgeable and honest.
Helen Doyle: had a terrible experience with this auction house - avoid at all costs
COLIN LAU: Auction house was able to give me what i value most as a bidder from overseas. Prompt responses to my emails. Their helpful, friendly and professional manner was an added bonus. Their recommended 3rd party international shipper was superb too. Many thanks to the entire team
Steve: Decent auction house but fees are outrageous, and now going up to to 30%. Ridiculous - there are much lower priced auction houses and on line options for far less.
Aditya Gupta: Incompetent systems for online bidding

MICHAEL FARWELL: Quality stuff in the auctions but a bit more expensive than other auction houses
steven colbeck: Hreat auction room, staff are great, always lots of items to take the eye at viewimgs

Chris Algar: I have dealt with Anderson and Garland many times ,but in their recent auction were items that required a lot of questions as i was not able to view. I had a chat with Nigel who was extremely helpful and took a lot of time with me. I commented to him on the day that i had also had great help from the lady in trying to set up an account with them as I am useless with computers.Really nice, considerate people.

Thomas N Miller: what do users think?
CE N: Second time using these guys, first time got stuff delivered - no issues there whatsoever, second time collected items, again, faultless, easy to find, good parking, polite and prompt with items being already boxed or on a pallet. They have bays you can park in if youve got a lot of stuff. Excellent auctioneers, professional outfit and happy to support a local business.
Tina Webber-rostron: Punctual, friendly and extremely reasonable.
Seenar Deen: Dishonest to the core
Martin Sekinger: A really outstanding Auction House. As an online Buyer, I found all aspects of their service to be impeccable.Other Auction Houses take note!!
James T: Great place for bargains, staff are friendly and always happy to help.I have had some great stuff from them lately and will do again in the future I am sure. They have their own car park facing and bays to pull into to help load up.Sometimes the viewing room is up a few floors which is difficult as I am disabled but if you have a word, they will happily take you up in the elevator. Thanks TNM.Kevin
John Pope: I have bought and sold a few items over last couple of years, and I find all the staff both front of house and the people taking and bringing lots very helpful. The charges are competitive to other auctions.
Sally Claxton: Very cold room nowhere to purchase a drink felt damp and dirty
Terry Cullen: If you have furniture to dispose of give it to charity, the British Heart Foundation or Foundations charity in Gateshead are very worthy causes. If you send it to auction you may well end up out of pocket as their charges are outrageous. I was quoted one price over the phone but the charges just rack up.
iulian petrik: very fast unload and nice people...Bravo...
The Vinyl Emporium: There are two sides as a buyer and as a seller, buying you can some bargains, a low to medium goods on offer, so worthwhile following as a buyerAs a seller a definite care needs to be taken, or be ready to be disappointed and angry, This is my opinion on what I have experienced and some things I will mention are hard to prove soMy opinion is that they lack attention to detail, I brought some records in for sale in plastic containers, they took the records out of the containers I purchased, used them for someone else’s auction and stuck mine in some cardboard boxes, not acceptable by any standard and had a go at them and was given a flippant response back. They seem to lack attention detail in what's being sold, I pointed out that they actually were selling ten boxes of records yet only mentioned it as an 8-box sale in the literature, again, lack of attention to detail! They do not like errors being pointed out.Now to the crux, When selling, I suggest you take photographs when you are there! so there can be no misunderstanding, it’s my opinion not a STATEMENT, the great William Shakespeare once said, there is something rotten in the state of Denmark, the same applies in my opinion to Miller auctions, it stinksThis is my opinion, I gave them some Penny Reds to sell a whole sheet, when looking at the auction half were missing and it only achieved £20, the point is something does not hang right, whether they are truly incompetent, not very good or me having a very suspicious nature is it something more sinister, as ones imaginations can possibly run riot and you actively start thinking of all kinds of possibilities and possible side arrangements that could have or may have been made, this is in the realms of being truly unknown. What is done is done, I could have done a better job myself using eBay, paid less commission and got more money, and also avoided that nagging feeling, that something has is wrong. I personally feel in my opinion somehow cheated. The bad experience has left me deeply suspicious and resentfulSo, when dealing in items like I have mentioned, take photographs or a video when you are there, to avoid any future disputes, get in writing the price they expect to achieve and also put in a reserve or a start price. This will avoid all future problems. I modified my review after a long discussion with the owner, some things he could not change my mind on. I also notice after my posting that there was a flurry jof short positive reviews without substance, makes you think about there validity does it not! ust expressing my opinion, nothing more
PAUL THOMPSON: Really getting to like this place alot staff are helpful and friendly and we at the moment seem to be some nice little bargains well organised and of course the fees could be a little less hurtful but they are what they are grin and bare it to get your bargains at auctions
Boss Man: Decent auction house. Would recommend for the booter, the collector and the dealer alike.Could be a little quicker on dispatching the items on collection... recommended.
Bill Lowes: Usually have a good cross selection of item for sale. As with most auctions bargains can be found, depending upon interest of others, remember to allow for auction costs when bidding. Viewing now only on Mondays but catalogue can be viewed on line the weekend before the sale on the Tuesday. Would recommend attending viewing at sales room if planning bids on higher cost items, as many items look better in pictures than in real life.
bigman lizard: Good experience, bid online and had it posted to me at a fair priceCame very well packaged items as described etcGreat auctioneers
Melanie Hewson: Lovley staff fab place
Terence Walsh: Always excited to see what comes in every week, staff are very helpful
David Ellis: Take your eyes out if you sell but ok fir buying
Alan Mcgill: my favorite place new auction every week with great variety.
Tim uk: Good bargains. Bid online or at the sale.
Fudge VFX (Jack Proctor): Very trustworthy auction house. Guy went out of his way to remedy a situation I had with a purchase even though Miller's was not the cause of the fault. Great service.
Ian Pleasant: I love the auction house you can get some real gems of a buy

Featonby's Auctioneers & Valuers: what do users think?
John Utterson: No longer here, moved to Newcastle
David Ireland: Bought items from 12th March sale, cannot get anyone to answer my emails and messages, as to when we can expect to receive them. Not impressed!Subsequent to my initial comments, the matter has now been resolved to my satisfaction with the items having been personally delivered, free of charge.
Kay Tomlinson: Great service, fast delivery and very fair price for packing and postage, unlike some auctions. Great comms, thank you, especially Casey.
Mark Connor: Thank you CaseyAuction was on Sunday and the goods arrived Thursday Morning. All very efficient.Thank you.
Guy Farrell: Second time around, found another amazing gift. This is the perfect auction for the perfect gift for your loved ones. Lots of beautiful jewellery plus more.I'll be back.
David Fereguson: Great service, postage very reasonable, most auction sites are quite expensive.
Gerry Gallagher: GOOD DEAL - Fast Delivery !!!
ashleigh lowes: Great service from Casey at Featonbys auction. They have a real care for their customers, as well as the items! Would definitely use again.Thank you so much Casey
George Palmer: I’ve bid for items at this auction a number of times & been well satisfied with their efficiency. They are quick to get items on their way as soon as they are paid for, & you are given the tracking number to follow your parcel. Very few auction houses give you a tracking number so you are left wondering whether your item has been dispatched. Compare that to an experience I had recently where I was left waiting 5 or 6 weeks for my goods & I still didn’t get confirmation it had been dispatched…..won’t use them again!
Mark Bishenden: Very to pleased with performance won lots on Sunday received goods on Thursday fantastic turn around thankyou.
Taran Mann: I dealt with Featonbys on my first ever jewellery auction experience and I cannot speak of them highly enough. From my first call to the aftercare following the sale, the team made the experience a smooth and enjoyable one for me. I will most definitely be working with Featonbys in the future and recommending them to friends and family. Thank you Casey and the team!
Julie “bonkers”: Not good. Loads of rubbish for sale. Gone down hill. One female member of staff I won't name needs a lesson in customer service skills. She is too far up her own ****
Roberto Costa: Excellent auction house, I definitely recommend!
David Schmeling: Unabashedly driven by profit over customer satisfaction. Featonby's should insure their shipments to protect buyers rather than leaving all the risk to the buyer who may (or inmy case his) a lost shipment. No more purchases from this auction house. There are too many others that stand by their customers and their service.
Keglanek: An absolute joke of a company, so here's the story so far, 8 weeks ago I give them some of my late farthers items to sell. 2 weeks later the items sold, I waited the 2 weeks for payment but nothing, I rang up and spoke to the most uninterested person I have had to deal with who couldn't have cared less and just told me I was too early for payment.1 week goes by and nothing, at 4 pm on the Friday I ring back up and spoke to another guy who told me it's because it has not been put through the system yet and if I have not heard anything by Monday, ring back.Monday came and went and I rang at 4pm and was immediately asked to ring back Wednesday, at this point I'm getting frustrated and told them I should not have to be running around after them, it was at this point I was told they are moving.I ring back up on the Tuesday and spoke to someone else who told me because they are moving there is no bank close to their new establishment and won't be doing payment til Friday. If you have not guessed yet, Friday came and went, no call, no payment so I have to ring back up again to which I was told everyone else has been payed and she doesn't know why I was not and can I ring back on monday. Its now Monday and i can't even ring them to find out what's happening, leaving me no choice but to seek legal advice and start go down the civil court routeSo of you think this company is for you then make sure you have plenty of credit on your phone.
Agnes Murphy: I'm a bit disappointed. I was bidding for the clock available for sale through this Auction House. At this point the bids was going up by 30 pounds. When I was the highest bidder, an auctioneer decided, that she will try to bid up the clock by 5 pounds. I understand that some Auctioneers can decrease the bid amount if an item has no bids or if the bids are below the reserve price, but for an item that has already reached the reserve price and had a multiple higher bids - it is just not serious...Otherwise it's OK and I'm happy with the item, that I received. They was helpful enough and hassle free when my item was being collected, so a big plus for that.
Eunice Varley: Not been there in a long time it's well worth a visit
Sean Mccartney: The best auction in north east, helpful staff always happy to help you to the car with your items, polite and friendly,I wouldn't look anywhere else.
Jason Barton: Excellent experience, Bided on the day received next day by 11am. Fantastic service. Fantastic company
bigman lizard: Great auction house! Interesting selection of items in their auctions that are very professionally ranBought over internet and they were able to ship the item I bought too, it arrived packed well and quickly and was fairly price to do so
Paul Robson: Fantastic service from the Guy's who come to clear the house. They treated all the items with total respect the way they packed everything to the way they removed them. Left the house totally clean & even sprayed with air freshener before they left. Thank you Mathew & your assistant sorry I didn't get his name.jib well done. Paul & Ciaran.

Sanderson's Furniture & Auction's: what do users think?
WELSH GAV: Good deals, good variety of goods...
Kelvin Rowley: Regular at the auctions, usually a bargain to be had
BIG FAT VAN: I love this place and more importantly the people. The auction is great, store is great and the staff are just super friendly. This is how a business should be. Thank you
Tracy Barker: Loved it , first time at an auction and I bought 7 lots to upcycle and only spent 12.70. Only thing missing is a bacon bun and a drink , had to take my own, and parking difficult had to park away from auction and walk over, staff were really good with any queries I had and helping me load my car , definitely going again.
Mark Moore: I can't recommend these guys highly enough. They moved us from Sunderland to highland Perthshire in January and then moved our hot tub from Hartlepool to Perthshire in July. Anne, at the office is helpful, friendly and always kept us posted. The guys that moved us were also helpful, friendly and efficient and got our things moved without any furniture casualties. The price was very competitive and they were one of the only companies to actually get back to us. Cheers folks!
Simon Whiskin: Always something there that comes in useful
Angie B: Great fun and professional Auction House,thankyou..
Ronald Wilkinson: Excellent service.
J S: Moved a piano with care and consideration for a decent price.
Jon Blackburn: Normally an excellent place to get good furniture for a cheap price. There's the usual bric a brac, but they often have some highly collectible items as well.
Chemical Summer: I guess the auction is only as good as the stuff that's in it and perhaps that's not the fault if the auction house, however, at the viewing I attended recently I thought the products up for auction were really poor. I have in the past had good purchases from here and that's why it received a 3 star rating and not less.
michelle simpson: Good auction u can find some good bargains here
Paul Briggs: Good auction lots of choice
Crazy cat videos: Auction selling mainly rubbish
Karel Bakkes: Excellent auctions held one Saturday every 4 weeks. Just brilliant.
Barrie Hill: Old tat auction
Gareth richardson: Get to the auctions that these guys hold each month. All kinds of bargains and unique items go under the hammer usually starting bids are only £2
David Short: Brilliant helpful staff who always go the extra mileExcellent auction rooms with huge variety of lotsI will definitely repeat my visits here as it's value for money every time I come
Martin Lamb: very helpfull

ADG AUCTIONS: what do users think?
The Vinyl Emporium: I am sadly dissatisfied and I have been rudely treated showing great ignorance and being uneducated and without manners, on their part by a member of staff, not something I would have expected. They requested that I call, So I did and I spoke to the owner. it all I heard was grunts and rude comments without even bothering to listen,They mentioned my review of Thomas Miller Auctions, which is after that review I received such awful treatment from this auction house obviously a buddy Buddy situation, not being honest about the real reason. I stand by my decision on Thomas Miller Auctions, whom I regard in my opinion as being DishonestI cannot say the same for this auction house, they deal in interesting stuff, the Owner (Manager) was always previously hospitable and helpful, I cannot hold him or his auction house accountable for the actions of in my opinion one idiot.I have reappraised the situation, I do not hold them accountable for standing by a colleague in the industry, As such deal with them, they are helpful and have interesting goods for auctioneven though we have parted ways, vindictiveness is not my way. Being truthful is
Peter Fairless: Adg auctions - straight forward-down to earth - good set of lads.Don't be shy - just ask , I'm sure we have phones these days .
Dave Atkinson: Bargains to get
CE N: I won't have a bad word said about the place, bought loads of stuff from them, always been a pleasure buying from them
M D Sinclair: Good service prompt payment 5 star
Finding Balance: Have bought a few bits and pieces from ADG. Live around 2 hours away so have always collected. It’s hit and miss. A lot of the stuff is absolute rubbish when you get it home and isn’t in the condition it appears online. The odd item has been good and a bargain. I Find the auction itself frustrating as the fella gets irritated easily or often accepts a bid within a second leaving no time to deliberate. Definitely in the wrong job. The times I’ve collected it has been hit and miss, sometimes very friendly and others he just cannot be arsed to even say hello. it’s not for me. Quite unprofessional in my opinion and I’ve bought from auctions for over 50 years.
Kenneth Dougall: Great guys with some excellent bargains to be had.
Jim Stothard: When I asked to be able to inspect some of the lots. It was met initially with indifference and then an aggressive attitude from the owners of the business. I found these people both rude and ill mannered and I shall avoid using them in future.More recently I have been back and I found that they were more friendly and helpful. I guess that I’d just caught them on a bad day. Let’s face it, we all have them.
J K: Very fair auction house, good prices on postage and fast as well.
Boss Man: A little bit hot and miss
Dave Bolam: Great staff allways very helpful and friendly
Sean Mccartney: What I love is the sheer variety of stuff here, something literally for everyone, my favourite day is catalogue day !! Some great bargains to be had as well as more specialised items .bidding is easy online and collections are well organised and you are alloted a time slot so no real queues.staff are friendly, down to earth and very approachable,
George J: Auction process was a breeze as was the collection of items won.
David vardy: A relatively new auction house in Northumberland, great for a bargain.Online registration is easy and a overall easy experience when bidding and collecting.Staff are friendly and very helpful
Jill Fawcus: Never had any problems , bargain city !
Stephen Salt: Great lads very helpful, by far the best auction house in the North East.
Vim Vanpersilink: Great selection of Retro and vintage items & helpful staff & good service
Asadolah Zohreh: very good auction house
Kevin Briggs: Ok and probably a lot better when back to normal
stan gordon: No fuss no hassle. Timed and assisted collection with easy payment. Remote and live online bidding. No problem at all.
danusha ching: An auction house like no other, lovely helpful staff, great auctioneer not the usual boring type from the telly,
