From the campsite, walkers can indulge in a gentle stroll along footpaths or stride out on a stretch of the long-distance Pennine Way. There are plenty of places to visit nearby, such as Howden and Ladybower Reservoirs, Holmfirth, Chatsworth House, and Eyam village.

There are various types of pitches available, including grass pitches with or without electric hook-up, hardstanding pitches, jumbo grass pitches, and super service hard standing pitches. The campsite also has limited mobile phone coverage and no TV reception.

The Bulls Head in Tintwistle serves excellent food using locally sourced meats and vegetables. They also offer a 10% discount to Club members. Additionally, there is a Farmers’ Market in Ashton-under-Lyne on the last Sunday of the month.
