I refuse to be railroaded in to paying three times more for a microwave oven that has features I will never use. I eventually found exactly what I wanted on Amazon with next day delivery.
stephen knowles: Currys is the largest electrical retailer left ,and can offer everything from computer leads to white goods, ie fridge/freeze, TV, cookers etc, staff are friendly ,helpful and informative, they also have a help desk if having a problem,all in all a great store, just a pity it's on portwood and you have to pay parking

S P: Staff there needs to be more customer service oriented looking out who needs help and when suggesting the product should have proper knowledge and attention to detail because we depend upon there knowledge I asked for a wired type C headphones and was still given wireless with confident which has wasted my time to come back again for return waste of time waste of money for parking and more importantly I couldn't use the headphones when I wanted to.

Called in few times in the shop , not helpful as keep on saying we can not do anything, back office informed. Its happened with item they do not stock but ordered from their ipad.Its been seven days yet Currys did not return my money. Its disappointing. Be careful if they uses their ipad to order goods.
Joe's entertainment: Been to the store to repair printer on warranty. Waited 30Minutes to attend . There is no system to know the updates via phone . The lady on the repair desk was not very helpful

Stephen Goulding: Nice shop some stuff is reasonably priced, but be aware when buying media from here as a number of times i have purchased are not in playable condition. When brought back they seem to think youre making it up? Not sure why? i wanted the game so why would i bring it back for £3 or whatever? The person marked it with the price that i originally bought it for and put it straight back on the shelf disregarding me completely after saying i tried the game on 3 different appropriate consoles and it is unplayable. Just be aware when buying from here. The staff also seem to think they know everything but they dont realise some customers have been gaming 20+ years probably when these staff were babies. Update changed to 1 star : when trading games in they often give you bank transfer for cash but they provide no receipt for what value they gave you for the items. I calculated the money I was supposed to get (based on cex trade in cash price) and it was off by about 40 quid. Be aware if the server doesn't like the look of you or what you're bringing in they will just try to take the mick and give you less than the low value they are supposed to give.

Brian Collison: Found they sell cpu's and RAM sticks. One RAM module was actually faulty but was exchanged. Had to wait an hour while their tech guy tested it. They should test before selling. Wasted journey to go back to store.

But I recently purchased an XB1 S for the 4K aspect.I was quite surprised to receive the Controller in its original box, with it being 7 years old I was shocked to see it in near PERFECT condition. Both obviously the box and controller. And the game works perfect. Really can’t go wrong. I don’t know why, but I was proper chuffed about the box. I think it’s because I spent the same amount of money on the LAST OF US PART 2 PS4 controller and I got that wrap in bubble wrap. Which... is fine... but the difference is 7 years and 3 monthsSo Stockport. Even though I didn’t enter your store, I’m satisfied with the products I received from your store, so thank you.

Chris Jones: Honest review.Awful asked for a deal as I'm on sim only , offered a new phone that I wasn't sure about and a contract I was unsure of so before I agreed to the deal,Asked for a different type of phone to be told this store had limited stock _OK fair enough (also the conversation from the customer service guy was very blarsai I appreciate its probably a 9-5 Monday job hence why I was polite and would never be rude like some people can be , all I ask is for good customer service )Anyway When asking can I get the store to order for myself from a bigger store or online o2 that stocked one I was told I needed to do it myself Why? Your o2I then asked could the customer service guy help with my O2 sign in as it keeps saying error he said sorry I can't I have a blank screen on my computer you need to call up , (come on its because you didn't get the sale and now I'm just seen as a waste of time in your eyes).... this is were the customer service fell down and I chose to buy the phone wanted outright from another store. Your loss.I will make one positive comment icould see another sales advisor helping helping an elderly gentleman with his phone even though he wasn't o2 fair play but my experience was dreadful and the reason I'm writing this review is I also herd the comment from the customer service advisor to another saying idiot just because i wanted help- I won't use the word you used.Disgusting behaviour really I should of made a complaint but I'll say you was having a bad day at the office I've got class.

Tim Shepperd: I upgraded my phone online, and received it by post.I needed some help transferring numbers, apps, photos etc, from my old phone to my new one, and changing the SIM over.One of the lovely young ladies, spent a long time, helping me do this, and because it took about one hour, she put the phone in the back room, while I did some shopping, she was so politefriendly and helpful, sadly I don't know her name, but I would like to thank her for her kindness help and time THANKYOU!one hourdo the transfer

Harry Edwards: I called in to pickup a replacement sim card for a Broadband WiFi. Upon arriving I was greeted by the store manager, I assume he was the manager because he had a name badge stating manager. He was very polite and asked me what could he help me with, when I explained what I was here for he asked me for ID which I shown him then he went and got me the replacement sim card, he asked me for my current number which I gave him, he then activated the sim card there and then. Overall I was impressed with the customer service. Many thanks three.
Christine Willson: Horrible experience in here, got no help what so ever, was lied to when taking out 2 mobile contracts, told a Samsung tablet was free of charge when signing the contract but in fact I'm being charged. Member of staff said he can't help because the person that dealt with me had left and he had lied to other customers too, absolutely disgracefull

Amir Bahrami: Poor serviceI purchased a charger which specifically needed to be 15v output. The charger was described as 15v on the website so I purchased it. When delivered, it turned out to be 12v.I contacted them to let them know the wrong item was sent only to be told there was a mistake in the product description. They said to open a returns case in my account and that "Unfortunately customer has to bear the return postage."I am not willing to pay to return a product which I did not order, I have offered them the chance to replace it with the item I purchased, collect the item for a refund or offer a free returns method. Unfortunately after this last email they did not respond so I have sent formal notification and given them 7 days to respond otherwise I will have open a papal case.I am not happy it has to come this far but as an online seller myself, I do not expect customers to pay for a mistake done by the company.
