Manchester School of Massage: what do users think?
Sarah Crowley: I have been going to the Manchester Therapy Centre regularly for several years now as I have chronic aches and pain from a car accident that I had in my teens. Massages always help to relieve the tension, especially in my neck, back and shoulders. All the masseuses are well trained. I currently see Zalika as she is really thorough and she always knows which muscles that need the most work on loosening up. I went today because I have been waking up with really heavy, achy legs. Now I feel so much lighter and the aches in my legs have gone. I always feel so much more refreshed and peaceful after a massage. I highly recommend it.
Ben W: One of the best massages I have had in a long time at an incredible price. I highly highly recommend Millie as a masseuse.
Sarah Scott: I completed Pregnancy massage today, The tutor Shellian was excellent very knowledgeable and she put everyone at ease very quickly.I will definitely be back to add to my skill set Thankyou .
Amele Sdc: I just finished my introduction to Massage course. Awesome teaching with Maria who really took time to share her knowledge with us and go the extra mile! Small group settings, well organized, efficient and professional communication with both teacher and the school, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely recommend that school to anyone who is interested in massage therapy training and holistic approaches. It is a great school, well located and with a good network. Possibility to also train on site while getting further qualifications. Qualifications are nationally and internationally recognised.
Khuram Khan: This was the first time myself and my wife had attended the centre. We were greeted so nicely, the prompt arrival. The massage itself is 2nd to none, genuinely the best massage I’ve ever had. I felt as if this was the first person that they ever massaged. The quality was incredible. Definitely coming back. Special mention to tuella and sarah , you guys are incredible. Keep up the good work.
Martin Spencer: I recently attended the sports massage course and thoroughly enjoyed it. The course and the tutor, gave me lots of skills and knowledge which I intend to use when I start my own sports massage business. This is a great course for those looking to get into sports therapy.
MisterE: An excellent course with a very experienced tutor. Well worth the money.
Hazel Burgess: Professional training from very knowledgeable and experienced tutors. Did my Level 3 Body Massage here and will be back to do more courses.
Jadwiga Siuda: If you are looking for relaxation or sports massage, Manchester Therapy Centre is the place to go. I am a regular there and all their therapists are friendly and have exceptional manual skills. I am a therapist myself, so I know exactly what I am looking for when I go for a massage and I can assure you that you won't regret the time you spend at the centre. Galina is one of my favourite therapists at the centre - highly skilled manual therapist that will find and work on all the knots without you even telling her where to apply pressure. She knows exactly what to do to help you with your aches and pains! On top of that she is lovely and a very good listener! On the other hand, if you are looking to learn how to perform massage - whether relaxation or sports - there's no better school! I did my course there a few years ago and the techniques learned have helped me immensely in my own practice. Keep on with the good work, Manchester Therapy Team! With best wishes, Jaz
Vicki Gale: This weekend I did the two-day ‘Introduction to Massage’ course at Manchester School of Massage. The course was very professionally run, at a good venue, with good equipment. There were 24 of us in the group. . At the beginning of the weekend the tutors helped up to pair up.We spent the entire weekend either practicing massaging our partner or being massaged. There was a lot of practical experience and almost no lecturing of theory, which suited me well.We learnt back, leg, arm shoulder and neck massage. The tutor demonstrated each technique on one person and then we practiced it on our partner. The final thing we did at the end of the course was to put everything together and give our partner a full body massage lasting about an hour. The tutors was very careful to make sure no one had reason to feel uncomfortable about having to undress.I came away feeling like I had learnt a lot and feeling I could confidently give a good massage. I think the Introduction to Massage course was worth the money and I would recommend it and I will be doing the sports massage course later on in the year - and I cant wait :-)
Jamie Hoare: I completed my introduction to massage this weekend and from start to finish I enjoyed every second of the course which I was successful in gaining my E-certificate and I am due to start my sports massage course in the up and coming weeks and I am so excited. The staff were fantastic made it very relaxed and I was lucky to have a group of people learning with me, I would highly recommend if your thinking of aube getting into some sort of massage as a intro to see if you would like it.
Atsuko Koido: Good practical teaching in Sports Massage Course, excellent admin staff who are really helpful even after you get qualified. Brilliant massage therapists there if you need one for yourself!
MARIA FUENTES CONDE: I did my sport massage diploma in Manchester school of massage last year.It was an amazing experience and I learnt a lot.I liked the fact that we were a small group; I was very comfortable and felt that it was personalized. Anything I was unsure about or any questions I had was answered without problem or delaying the class.Gary was a great tutor, always helpful. Also the staff from the therapy center next door.I did couple of weeks ago the pregnancy workshop. Again, the teacher was great and very knowledge. I had a good time there, I learnt beneficial techniques helping me to develop and I would highly recommend the course.
Sam Bailey: Pleasant, helpful & worth the money spent.
