BMI The Alexandra Hospital: what do users think?
Lisa Kay: Excellent care
Dushyant Khatri: I have had four/five appointments so far. Heads up, when you book an appointment, take careful note of the times because they never send you emails or text alerts - you won’t imagine a hospital in 2023 functioning in this fashion, right? Don’t know about others but I tend to forget my times especially if my appointment is six weeks later than when booked.
Becci Hughes: I feel the support and care I received before, during and after my procedure was fantastic. I could not fault any of the care staff who looked after me especially the night staff. I would recommend this hospital to everyone.
Rachel Pugh: Every single member of staff that I delt with whilst in hospital were amazing, I felt respected, was made to feel very welcome, everything they were doing and why they were doing it was explained to me.After some awful experience in other hospitals it was nice to finally have an experience where I felt looked after and actually cared for.
Maria Gibbons: All staff were great and supportive during a stressful time.
AllanGraham Unsworth: You should have an excellent category. I can't speak highly enough about the surgeon, anaesthetist, nursing and and care staff, pre-op staff, and admin staff. I was concerned about my op but due to your excellent staff, I was so relaxed because I knew I was in very good hands. Thank you to everyone concerned.
jane pesticcio: Everyone is polite helpful and the doctors explain patiently to you
Sooze Kelly: Our little boy had his tonsils out at The Alexandra last week.Every member of the team from the porter to the surgeon was so kind and thorough in their care of our son.The surgeon and the anaesthetist came to see us before and after the surgery and the nursing staff were amazing on the children’s ward. Phil and Laura looked after us all on the day and were so professional and reassuring to us as worried parents. We even got a phone call from Phil the day after surgery to ask after our son which was really appreciated. If you can - choose the Alexandra - the care is outstanding!
john Brown: Very nice hospital and all the staff were genuinely good to me, food was excellent and nothing was too much trouble.
Jenna Davidson: I couldn’t fault a single thing .Amazing from the moment I walked in. Thank you Chester suit, theatres , mr Satyiadas and his anaesthetist. Under the circumstances it was a pleasant experience thanks to all the staff .
nadeem majid: Everything on the hospital was very helpful
Martin Ross: Everything was good, from start to finish
Jessica Ruiz: Really grateful, all the staff was amazing and really caring.
Kyle Banner: From start to finish everything was brilliant every member of staff from cleaner to specialist was fantastic
Pash “Pashunina”: I came in for a gallbladder removal and I was thoroughly impressed by the hard work of all staff involved. Everyone from the receptionist, porter, nurses, kitchen staff, healthcare assistants and consultants were lovely. My consultant surgeon Dr Thomas Satyadas was very professional, friendly and reassuring and could tell a joke or two which helped put me at ease. Thank you Dr Summerton, Jason, Saff, Jaya, Angela, Linda, (Donna?) Dr Parthav (and the many other staff involved as I can’t recall everyone’s name but they were all excellent). They were very understanding of my circumstances and communicated with me efficiently. Lovely experience and my best experience in healthcare so far and would definitely recommend. I couldn’t imagine any other team doing my surgery knowing what I know now!
Ryan Gibb: My 11 year old daughter has had two endoscopies here and multiple consultations. 5 star experience all round. The staff are the highlight. In the paediatric ward all the staff are amazing. Phil and Yvonne in particular have a fantastic bedside manner and were so attentive and caring. Dr Fagbemi has been an awesome consultant, getting to the cause of the issues and being rigorous and diligent. Thank you!
Karen Mathers: I felt respected as a patient and very cared for. My concerns were listened to and responded to at all times, thank you. Overall it was the best hospital experience from start to finish that I have had.
Katie Ashton: My daughter and I attended The Alexandra Hospital for a pediatric EEG. All staff where helpful and friendly, the procedure was fully explained and once finished were thorough on how and when we were to expect the results. There was plenty of parking, enough space in the waiting rooms and all areas were very clean.
Odene Bailey: It was great visiting the Alexander hospital great service on care wouldn't change a thing thank you.
Helen Tomkinson: I was an inpatient on the Stafford for two nights 26-28 march 2023, for a total hip replacement, performed by the fantastic Professor Bari. All of the attending staff were amazing, including the nurses who made sure I was comfortable and brought me biscuits at night when I could not sleep! Two nurses were really caring, one called Beauty but sadly I cannot recall the other nurses name (long blonde hair and wore Pure Poison perfume (as I asked what it was!). It was all a very positive experience with the theatre staff, the guy who carried out my post surgery x-ray… until the afternoon of my discharge. The male nurse who arranged for me to leave ( and seemed more concerned if I’d completed the feedback questionnaire ) expected me to sit in the wheelchair which was brought for me which , due to my height was just not suitable. I had been constantly told not to bend my hip more than 90 degrees and he was trying to get my feet up on the footplates which was agony. Then he thought putting a rolled up towel behind them and resting my lower legs on the towel would work. It felt like my new hip was being pulled out! In caring fashion, he then said, if you can’t sit in this, you will have to walk! All the way to the main entrance less than 48 hours after surgery!!??Luckily the porter suggested a different kind of wheelchair (green) with a low plate which slid out in front. This worked!! Thank god for him. I was so upset it spoiled my experience on the Stafford ward at the end. Thank you to the porter and perhaps the nurse should take note as I cannot be the first tall person to have a hip replacement!
Jenni Carruthers: All of the healthcare team were fantastic.

Mastercall Healthcare: what do users think?
Annette McCarthy: A nice experience with all staff being very pleasant and caring. Dr Menakaya was very approachable warm and kind putting me at ease. Thank you all.
tracy brown: It’s actually Tracy St Louis. I turned up half an hour late but was still seen within ten mins. The lady Doctor (Dr Saleem or something similar sounding) was absolutely excellent, she explained everything, and in my opinion did everything that was needed to make my lungs and my breathing be the best as she possibly could make them, on a single doctors appointment. . I didn’t feel rushed or an inconvenience. Absolutely excellent Doctor.. only review I have ever written, absolutely deserves a five star if I could have her as my everyday Doctor I definitely would
Gillian Horley: Really positive experience of Mastercall yesterday, booked an appointment via 111, seen quickly by the nurse then doctor. Everyone was so welcoming, the doctor and nurse dealt with us with such knowledge and professionalism and had a a great manner that put us at ease. An efficient service when you're dealing with an urgent worrying situation.
Saxon Cohen: Matercall? More like waste of a call! Spent over an hour on calls to a "Nurse" and then a "Doctor" telling me all sorts of rubbish and that I needed to been seen ASAP! When I got there the Reception Staff were very rude! Then the Doctor I did said its juts a Bug and I didn't need to attend. Are Mastercall going to refund my £13 Taxi fair? I think not..... 😡😡😡😡😡
Jan Mahabis: I spoke to the receptionist at 02:45am on the 2/03/2023. She was extremely rude and unhelpful, I would give zero stars if possible. Completely ignored advise of stepping hill hospital, GP, and the patients opinion.
Michael Ibarra: not friendly staff
Jan Shatliff: I would like to thank Dr Izzy Enaohwo for her compassion and kindness towards my daughter during the early hours on Sunday. She was fantastic and so so lovely. This is the first time I have used the out of hours and from making the initial call, I didn't get the name of of the man I spoke to, again he was very professional and reassuring to leaving Mastercall we were dealt with quickly and with kindness. Thank you to all the staff. You were all fab
Suzanne Cojeen: Great medical advice antibiotic cream given to stop septic finger getting worse tganks
Stevie Bradley: After using the out of hours doctors previously and being delighted with the service they provided with caring for my son, mine and my partners experience was far from that.Every call operator was polite, pleasant, helpful and sympathetic with our situation. Understandingly with it being a bank holiday the only appointment they could offer us was 10:45pm, meaning we would have to take our 2 year old son with us.On an arrival the receptionist was pleasant and we advised that our son would be with us so we would have to enter one at a time (he was asleep in the car). At this point there was no mention of a 2 hour delay. After 30 minutes I called to ask if there was a delay to which the response was ‘yes 2 hours, not much we can do about that’.We made the decision to stay and try to wait it out.My partner was first to be seen and then myself. We both experienced a somewhat cold doctor who didn’t seem to want to engage in conversation of any sort. After he stated that I didn’t have some issues that my partner was showing and therefore required no antibiotics, I had to ask him to re-examine me, to which he then agreed I needed them. There had been no conversation around pain relief or in fact asking us how much pain we were in, any recommendations for home remedies that may help us, and only through me attempting to draw some conversation out of him did he tell me how long I should avoid contact with other people. The time was now 12:45am, with no pharmacists open at that time all we could do was head home and try to remedy our own pain.First thing in the morning we went to hand in our prescription to be told by the pharmacist that the doctor hadn’t prescribed enough medication to what he stated we should be taken. So there was not enough to what we have been instructed to take - wonderful! On getting home we also noted that our mg for the same medication was different, one 800mg, one 400mg. We have no idea why this was done.Truly disappointed with the last half of our experience with this facility.Let’s hope this Doctor was having an ‘off’ day.
Paul Gregory: I have used Mastercall many times over the years once when my daughter was poorly and her gp the head of the practice dismissed it as a common sore throat turned out she had scarlet fever. I didn’t trust the gp so went to out of hours and mastercall were brilliant. I have been recently for myself and again they were brilliant straight in no fuss staff are caring, helpful, and polite and answer any questions.
Joanne Walker: Just wanted to say a massive thank you to the staff at Mastercall Healthcare in Hazel Grove this evening. the lady on the front desk was lovely and then the triage nurse , Amy, went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. It's not very often you are made to feel like this when the NHS is so busy and everybody is rushed off their feet. they are a true asset to the NHS and I am very grateful for how they made me feel tonight. thank you.
Mark Ashworth: They're always very helpful and all the staff are fantastic.
Jeanette Gormley: I just want to say a huge thank you for the speedy response to my request for medication today.I had called my GP surgery needing an appointment but was told the surgery was closed. I was told that I would be dealt with by the out of hours service, which happened to be Mastercall Healthcare. Within 35 minutes I was called back by a health professional who was not only easy to talk to, she showed great empathy, and sorted out a prescription for me to pick up immediately at my local pharmacy. I have never ever had such a speedy response to a health issue. This was such a refreshing change from being told to ‘try again tomorrow’ or ‘sorry, there are no appointments for the rest of this month’. At a time when when the NHS is stretched to capacity and patients are sometimes dissatisfied, I felt it was important to give credit where due. Many thanks for a great service.
Ruth Hewitt: I had to go here in the middle of the night and the reception and GP were fantastic. The Gp knew exactly what was going on with me and gave me the medication there and then. Fantastic service and feel reassured that I will be better in no time. Thank you.
Leslie Robinson: Less than 2 hours from contacting NHS111 I was seen by a lovely doctor from Mastercall and had a prescription in my hand. What a great service! Without this I'd have been waiting 8 hours in A&E.
A Morris: Great centre, Carrie, Graham and the rest of the team delivered outstanding care with a warm and friendly manner. I hope not to come back but if I had to, I know I would be in safe and capable hands. Thank you so much :)
Nicola M: Amazing place. The staff are polite. I did not have to wait very long when I got there. I can’t remember the doctors name who saw me but he was brilliant. He was really funny and made me laugh. Thank you so much 😊
Ian Shimwell: Other than a delay being seen, they were efficient and professional.
Joanne Bonworth: The staff have been so helpful and friendly. The lady on the front desk could not been kinder to us.
cookingpete Peter Walters: Poor communication after bringing a blind lady and I’ll toddler to this place.Instructions unclear then accused of being late.Apparently you have to know that there is an open rest door near the bin area to get the doctors attention. Poor client journey and waste of precious time.
janine lamprecht: Beautiful and caring medical team. I cannot Thank Dr and his team enough for their kind assistance on Christmas day. Thank you for your compassion and the wonderful manne that you treat patients.

Manor Medical Practice: what do users think?
Lauren Fitzpatrick: Great NHS practice with really nice friendly staff from reception to GPs who are thorough and supportive of your health issues.
Karen Rushton: Always a friendly greeting & excellent healthcare ..Katie takes blood in a calming professional manner ..Very happy with my visits to Manor Medical Practise .. many thanks
Gail Nathan: Brilliant Surgery
Cristina Munteanu: Rather awful service, to be honest. I had just joined and was supposed to receive a message to book my booster jab; didn't get any message, called in and after checking my details once again with reception, I was assured I would get the booster jab invite - never got it. Moreover, had a rather pressing health issue, called in and booked an appointment. Not only did the doctor not respect this appointment (I called this time too to see what was delaying the call and was promised I would eventually get a call on the day) but I also got a rather odd message from the Dr. at around 5 minutes to 7pm, which would be the closing time of the practice, that said something along the lines of: sorry I couldn't get a hold of you, rebook if needed; when nobody actually did try to get a hold of me. Had to call 111 eventually, and move to a different GP.
Haydn: Recently joined and had only good experiences with no problem getting appointments. A pleasant change from other overly busy GPs around the country
Catherine Hamilton: Good receptionist and doctors
Karen E Jackson: I just wanted to commend both Manor Medical Practice for arranging my Covid-19 vaccination so promptly and in turn Bosden Moor Surgery for an excellent experience at their vaccination hub. In the midst of such an awful pandemic it is so heartwarming and emotional to see our NHS service and staff operate at their absolute best in protecting the nation ! Many thanks, Karen Elizabeth Jackson.
Chris Phuket: Spot on, sometimes they may run a bit late that just means they are dealing with the patients who are seriously ill, properly. I would rather wait a while than the doctors have to rush through patients and miss something serious.
Susan Picken: My husband has seen Dr. Tragen, who is new to the practice, twice in recent weeks. We really can't praise her enough. She is very thorough, she listens to and understands what you have to say and in our opinion she will be a complete asset to the practice.
