Jackson's Dairies: what do users think?
Steve Bolton: What a friendly bunch.
Phil Kenyon: Great service, can't beat em.
Robert Armstrong: Ignore the negative reviews, since Jackson's became our milk delivery company we cannot complain. The milk has been delivered by 5am and the fact it maybe delivered on 3 days, none of our milk has gone off, isn't that what a fridge is for. No problems when we need to cancel delivery when on holiday.Regarding the comment about not using dairy products, what are dairy farmers supposed to do? Cull all the cows, who will do that.
Martin Henbrook: Long time customer (10+ years). Generally all has been fine with deliveries over the years. Yes, over that time there have been a handful of missed or late deliveries, and a small number pints that were off during very hot summer months. However, an email to their customer services account always got things sorted with the redelivery or replacement. I've never had any real problems when dealing with the dairy. In recent months the cost of a pint of milk has gone up significantly. I would only know about this once I received my monthly bill. I know there are huge inflationary pressures in dairy farming at the moment (March 2023) and during the last few months. I'm also realistic that supermarkets effectively sell milk as a loss leader and the supermarket prices do not reflect the real cost of dairy production. As such, I empathise with farmers and dairies. However, it would have been nice to receive an email notifying me about the price increase, and an explanation of why. I would hope that most people are sympathetic to the reasons why and the pressures faced by farmers, particularly since Brexit.
Anne Bowes: Well done Jackson' Dairies. Just delivered my milk through the snow 👍
Vexinar: rip customers off, recieve sour milk, constant problems and no communication, useless
S G: Buxton. It is many a year that we have had a delivery - and Jackson's have supplied the Milk to date. However reluctantly since now they only deliver Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. And the milks quality being temperamental the situation is the milk does not last very long or it off when we get it more often than not. This has got worse as it as progressed in time.So I suggest you get it elsewhere.
liz donlon: Absolutely terrible experience dealing with this company. They took over from our local supplier and sent several orders which were not correct during the 6 weeks we had deliveries. We received milk on days it had been cancelled, including some we'd never had and was cheaper than that on the order yet we were charged anyway!Invoices are only sent via post so are often received late and are easy to lose. Receipt of payment doesn't seem to be registered either as I received an Account Overdue notice despite having paid 2.5 weeks previous!Do not recommend at all.
Joseph Poore: The best oat milk available. Thank you!
Humblestone T.H.E Pirate: We've have had 2 cartons of milk go off in less than 24 hours, with more than 4 days left on the use by date.
Bentony Wombledance: Orders inconsistent, milk goes off far to often even in the same day, orange juice has been presented in dirty bottles. Deliveries are cancelled without warning. We moved to another supplier who was then taken over by Jackson’s, the transition was not smooth at all, we have ended up back with Jackson’s by default and we are less than happy, the whole saga has started again and it is extremely disappointing. All we ask for is that we receive what we have ordered, the milk lasts more than a day, nothing more nothing less, you should expect normal service but this appears to be extremely hard to find these days.
Jane Crossley: This company has just taken over from my last supplier, I was advised by the previous company that there would be no disruption to my deliveries! Day 1 and No milk delivery. No phone answered, no response to voicemail left or email sent. As someone who is housebound and reliant on deliveries I have been left high and dry with no answers. Do not recommend at all.
Alison Ellis: Used to use Jacksons and the deliveries were all over the place and mostly wrong.Changed to Hopewell Farm and had no issues. Now they have amalgamated, we and no milk for 2 weeks, can the delivery and then found 4 pints on the doorstep.Phoned and got a really grumpy woman in the phone who was unnecessarily rude. Will not use again!
Jane Hammonds: The milk is so so. fresh. Best milk I have tasted. Service is excellent and staff so helpful and friendly. They also have a superb array of other products which I can highly recommend
Holy freakin' Dragon Slayer!: I dont know if their milk is pasturised enough as it goes off more or less straight away. Tastes funky
Jake Hamilton: Milk goes bad just after 1 day or even on the same day of opening! Even though the expiry date is 4 days away. Milk was bought several times and on all occasions it goes bad in 1 day. (I bought it through a store they supply in blackburn)
Paul Mitchell: Nice milk
Kristian Hampton-Joyce: Sadly a dairy farm lying to locals trying to drum up custom by claiming shopping with them is sustainable and a way to save the planet. Sorry guys, dairy farming isn’t sustainable full stop - best way to make a difference is to not consume or support it.
Isaac Swain: Great milk delivered to my door! Thanks!
David Elliott: Cos I had to do some work😂
Stuart Cork: For all your dairy needs

Andy Buckley: Best place for meat.
Stefan Petrie: Fantastic local Farm Shop. You will not get fresher meat and veg anywhere else.
Linda Baines: Nice but expensive.
Nom de Plume: Really top notch meat and poultry with a range of pies, all of which looked like they'd come from a local bakery, not a big factory. They will also deliver locally.
alan keates: First time here.. Amazing place to come for breakfast. We had the farmhouse version orange juice, 3 pieces of bacon, slice of toast, dish of beans, sausage, egg, coffee. All for £8.95. And the staff were very friendly, smiling all the time with lots of thank you's. Def going again next time for lunch.

Alan Chan: Young guy at the butchers was very good but the guy in charge need to be more courteous!!!Extremely unwelcoming!
Susan Banahan: Came for lunch today first time beautiful but the ceaser salad really expensive for what you got needs to be looked at l think £11 for lettuce and chicken and a tiny bit of cheese wasnt good value for money on the plus side the cafe garden is beautiful and the staff are lovely will come again.
Moo: Staff are really good. Very helpful. Bit pricey but every where as put prices up. Good fresh food so worth it.
steph watkins: Great butcher

Asda Stockport Superstore: what do users think?
Ryan Jackson: Just had a coffee in the cafe whilst killing time. The coffee was nice, place was clean
Michael Eldred: Usual Asda stock.
Julian Whitehead: Like a holding pen for the Jeremy Kyle show.
Brian Henshall: Can't get app to work
paul grealey: Smallish supermarket but with plenty of covered parking, so no need to get wet, good quality at reasonable prices.
Nigel Harrison: A fantastic store with everything in I need
mark kelly: Lots of goods, nothing special though
john duckworth: Good store. Bargain prices and nice staff.
Viktorija Bubelytė: 4 stars cause I can't find the bloody entrance
Joanna D: Most unwelcome Asda store I've ever been to. Never again. Came to buy one item on the way home 15 min before the closing at 4.30. Found myself in the store car park I had to pay to get refunded upstairs if I spent 5 pounds. But this for the feature reference only for half an hour so people avoid. The machine mas so temperamental i had to try for 5 min. I would have left but I needed a ticket to get out and needed to be refunded upstairs. I'm not leaving them a £1 (even so) for nothing. So managed. Went to the only entry through dirty and smelly car park to find out there was a lady at 10 min before closure not letting anybody in. I explained I just want my refund so i need to get in and i need to make that £5 pound purchase . I didn't made those rules...I stood there arguing with her and there was other people confused and angry about the same issue. She finally let me in with massive fuss on her face. I ran in bought that one item which took me 5 min because going in taking that long through very long ramp. Managed to pay on time but the other people were literally shouted at by I think young manageress where they been approached the till at the time minute before the advertised closure they won't be able to be served now! I felt so gross and uncomfortable I never before. In Altrincham asda I always shop its nice and people are polite to each other. I know they want to finish work but advertising shop being open not service at specific time should allow people to enter. The workers work longer past the time shop closes. I would never come for a huge shopping few min before closure but one small item i don't feel uncomfortable going in. But you can't here. You just pay to park and lose your money..avoid at all cost. I feel sorry for the workers there as I bet the management there is the same as they are to customers. Happy to live in Altrincham not Stockport.
Orlando Sebastiao: I loved it, welcoming people, I intend to return
Colette Boswell: Great selection of everything. Prices are OK, but going up by the minute. The pharmacy really let the rating down. The customer service was appalling, and the service was so slow.
Kieron Fairclough: Good biggish store. I get lost trying to find things everytime. But nice it's all sorted in am order
Carol Jones: We enjoy shopping here. The aisles are wide so you can shop with no pressure or banging into people, staff are very helpful. And enough tills open so you don't have to wait long to be served.
Edward Carter: Good food at very good prices. The introduction of their new loyalty app is a great bonus.
Ivan Fila: big place, couldent find what i was looking for tho.
Sunil Bhushan Sharan: Groceries etc. are available here.
TERESA JEWELL: Good shopping
Healthy Grocers: ALL groceries ETC ❗ plus sitting in & parking 🅿️ very nice 👍
Tahira Arshad: Easy parking
Tom Hudson: They need to reopen the escalators (the lift is way too slow & small

Rose A: Great produce and service 👏
Barbara Woodyatt: An excellent shop full of marvellous artisan cheeses from around the UK and occasionally from France znd Italy. Professional, friendly and helpful staff. Shop also sells chutneys, olives and other accompaniments for cheese. Cannot be faulted in any way.

Les pains sont d'excellente qualité et la boutique propose également des cornichons, des confitures, des chutneys, des olives et des saucissons secs (très bons mais un peu chers).
Annne Randle: Wow what a wonderful shop. Staff are so knowledgeable and helpful. Amazing cheeseboard last night.
tam sayers: Great posh cheese shop

Sainsbury's: what do users think?
chris hughes: Great staff, can't praise them enough. Always happy and helpful
Michelle Anten: I have been a regular shopper at the store since it opened 2002/3. I have always found the staff to be very helpful and pleasant, they have a good variety of products, the instore argos click and collect is very useful. Cafe could do with improving as very slow service not very organised. Toilets always clean.
Michael Eldred: The usual quality and service
bilsy joby: Good
Smart Education: Good service in cafe Wed morning at around 10 and got the item I wanted in TU sale!
Graeme Weatherall: An OK little Sainsbury’s but it is seemingly understaffed at times.
Jay Bowden: Perhaps the best Sainsbury’s that I’ve been in, and in such an ideal place for you to then get other stuff from either Asda or M&S afterwards if needs be
꧁ Stormi ꧂: Pretty good shopping experience, tad expensive in some items but if you know what the prices on things are then you can usually find a cheaper alternative. Disappointed that sometimes the flowers don't have any bags, so the shop ends up with wet floors and sad, soggy customers. The bathrooms are very stinky, but that is due to the shoppers, not the shop itself.
Deborah Horton: Lots of choice, bargains and a clean friendly staffed shop
Karl “NoSheet” Coleman: Good for shopping, overpriced in some areas but really quiet in the evening 8-10pm if you hate crowds
zulweni: Nice store. Very clean and helpful staff
Debbie Alton: Always like coming here, can get things here that are unavailable in other stores, staff are always nice & friendly.
David Wales: Plenty of free parking if shopping in store, just note that there is no instore pharmacy it is permanently closed now .
Nick Wilbourne: Has most things but is exspensive compared to Aldi some price matched items. Mince in vac packs looks awful puts everyone off buying tried cooking it and it's does cook well
joy Joym: I pop in here after hospital visits . Good range of clothes for everyone... they stopped selling cds ages ago which I miss picking one up when I shop .. picked up some food items also .. not overpriced ...
Theresa Romana Ndoro: Spacious, love their bakery, friendly staff
alan lee: overpriced sarnies!
Faheem Ahmed: Smart shop scanner didn't work properly...
Geoffrey Fox: No pharmacy now....Some foods out of stock...Looking a bit dated....needs revamping.
Jacqui Byrne: Love shopping at sainsburys. Decided to call in cafe with my sister. I was extremely disappointed with the staffing today, the poor lad on his own. Taking orders, on the till, making coffee, running food out to tables. We Felt quite uncomfortable to see this. Other staff members in the back and occasional coming out to wipe tables and take the trolley out. I use to work for m&s and we all would of jumped on to help service the customers. Then clean tables.etc. as there was enough spare tables. The management needs to address there staffing
Kevin Underhill: There is a argos here too free parking and toilets

Delamere Dairy Ltd: what do users think?
Evans Meta: They abuse all goats google to see how they treat their goats. They torture them before killing them. Awful people. One day you will pay for what u doing
Paul Cowley: Its the best. Strawberry milk. Shake yet ... thank you
Jayne Finn: Not vi as ited yet but the milk is superb
Monika Duranczyk: Amazing!

Ashleigh ash_xo_: Love the strawberry milkshake & the glass bottle

Though the facility is surrounded by lush green fields, the farm is zero-grazing -- the goats trapped inside can only look out and wish to roam free, but are never allowed that basic right. To make matters worse, goats at Delamere Dairy suffer from an unrelenting breeding process from which their milk is harvested, meaning nanny goats are constantly, forcibly impregnated and then milked raw. Goats with sore udders, unnaturally large pregnancies, and some pregnant goats that were literally immobile were observed. And perhaps the most horrific of all -- the undercover footage taken by this amazing organization caught the "Spring massacre," during which tiny baby goats were slaughtered in front of their traumatized mothers, some left squirming in pain as they slowly died. Consumers deserve the truth about the products they are buying -- there must be a formal investigation into Delamere Dairy. kassem Said: Sometimes I've notice that delamere sterilised/whole milk in glass bottles with the blue screw top can have an unpleasant taste. Not all the time when it's good it's pleasant in tea but sometimes and it seems to be getting pretty often there's a slightly creamy nasty taste to it .Any ideas as to why ? It seems to seems to be a lottery when you buy a bottle now if you get a pleasant cup of tea or a tea with a nasty creamy aftertaste why is this ?
DAN: Choccy milk? Were do i start?? Best shakes about, full of flavour and top quality.Rest of range is also really rated
rab: Love the iced coffee need to buy in bulk keep up the good work and excellent quality of your milks
Chris: One of the best milkshakes out there and the price is very reasonable as well,am very surprised it's not over the pound mark.. 🥛
daz j: the milkshake taste alot better not as nice as nurishment but that's a vitamin milkshake
Jack Boggis: Supreme choccy milk
Dove: Amazing products. My local has the milkshakes and they are delicious. To the “Karen” below me. You’re really living up to your name. Get a grip.
Karen: I have bought this milk numerous times and it's always been alright. I bought some from Asda on my online shop, when I went to use it , it had a horrible metallic taste. I contacted Environmental health but due to Covid they couldn't take a sample but said if I felt unwell I should go to A&E . I was worried of what was in it especially in light of recent stories.I contacted the company direct and gave them all the details. They said they would check the samples ,after a couple of days I asked if there was an update and was told not yet , but nobody else had complained, but as it's a long life milk people could have it sitting in a cupboard.I emailed them again after a week of waiting and told them I could have been really ill so it's a good job that I'm not as the company are useless!! It doesn't take a week to check a sample these are obviously a company who don't care about the fact my milk was disgusting ,I heard nothing back from them.I have now reported this to Trading Standards as a company should have a policy that it's customers come first and not to insinuate they are lying about a potential dangerous milk.
Charles B (GoodTear): Buy British. Its superior. Great product. Tastier than Yazoo whatever its called. This is my go to milkshake when I'm on the road and I spot it in a shop.
Mathew Evans: Best banana milkshake ever
petrut5: The sterilised semi-skimmed green milk in the plastic 1 litre bottle , is absolutely disgusting, has a really bad taste, you can't call that milk very disappointed I wish I never tried it.
martin gynane: I love your sterilised while milk just like when I was a kid keep up the great work and be blessed
Mark Heff: Purchased 3 x 500ml Vanilla Flavoured Milk from Heron Foods ..Love the Glass Bottles and the Taste. Not thick like some others just smooth and silky . Definitely buying some more..

Sainsbury's Local: what do users think?
Clara: Not 1 type of vegan/dairy free cheese 😭 Loads of options for dairy cheese. Would be so nice if 2 of those could make space for vegan cheese.
aoife Murphy: my experience at this shop was HORRENDOUS. I have never encountered such rude and ignorant staff in my life. The lady at the till refused to serve us and we had to speak to the manager.Avoid this shop if you are going to stockport.
Murph: Customers service very shocking had to ask for manger, lady that was on cashier was very discriminate towards me cause I was irish and would not serve me ,my experience was the most unpleasant time in stockport ,warning to all
Rupert Martin: A simple Sainsburys local store
Lee Smith: AVOID! Like to sell and send milk via Deliveroo that is already PAST ITS SALE BY DATE. AWFUL.
Nick Donaldson: Never seem to be able to find any staff members when i require assistance.
King Khan: Beware of ordering via the deliveroo app, the refuges will cheat you and say goods have been delivered when they wont even try to contact or give you the goods . You will be scammed .
Ethan Hayes: I have never in my life left a shop and felt such absolutely disgust with the attitude of staff. The gentleman manager of this store - decided that rather than he, or a colleague, serving customers... It would actually be preferable to laugh, joke and mock customers for their choice of shoes and their ability to walk. That's right - the manager was actively mocking a disabled gentleman while that gentleman was standing at the till, waiting for service. The manager - openly mocking a person with disabilities for all customers to see.Really, really, really vile attitude. And frankly the shop stinks of low profitability and poor management. 2 staff members on, both shelf stacking. This is routinely the case, leaving customers wanting kiosk service unable to buy items.
L. J. Roberts: Just reopened. Amazingly clean. Great range. Friendly staff.
lydia brown: Staff will literally ignore a que of people stood at the till, they don’t apologise, you’re a total inconvenience to be in store.Considering this store is next to the train station it should probably be assumed most people are in a rush for a train and shouldn’t have to stand at the till looking around for someone. Also don’t bother calling, they don’t pick up
Steve Eason: Rude staff and the store smells of wet dog for some reason. Avoid!
Boardman: Only 1 gluten free sandwhich which isn't even vegetarian and it costs about 3.50.
Anil M: A great little store close to Stockport train station.Has most of your essential items in store.Easy access for all.Cash machine available outside the store.
Jacee Cool: Handy for uick shop
Deborah Green: Got all the items I needed. Friendly member of staff at the checkout packed my shopping.
James Large: Has most of the essentials and is open reasonably late on a Sunday
Steve Larkin: Very good range of foods
Lee Rogers: Was there in a flash
Carole Randall: Very good
JD Tattersall: Nice shop for a quick pop in on your way to the station.
Bellyflop: A handy convenience store to have in this area. A tidy, well presented and quiet place to grab essentials and just outside Stockport Station.
