Heat Sauna: what do users think?
W.A Harrison: Went there today Monday was steady good facility's and the guy on reception/ bar goes around and keeps the place clean and tidy he's also friendly and helpful. Go see for yourself I enjoyed it i will be returning
Dominic James: The most welcoming and intimate sauna I’ve visited. Thanks to the lovely staff.
joe thomas: First timers here on g Saturday night just gone guy on reception and came home with blonde hair. Glasses was really really sound credit to your team. Facilities were good at a really good time. Lost some jewellery whilst in there in the hot tub guidebar was really helpful and went out to his car to get me a big flashlight. ( this guy was absolutely stunning totally my type I didn’t catch his name tho )Couldn’t find it anywhere and the lad from the bar came upstairs and had a look and we found it so I really appreciate the extra mile you guys went toI’ll probably return this Saturday, but thanks again for being so welcoming and stuff.
Speak as I Find: Firstly I can say the young blond lad who greeted me was very friendly. Unfortunately that's as good as it gets, the place has carpet in the majority of it, need I say more. While I was in there a guy was drunk however the guy behind the bar continued to serve him drink and charge it to his locker, when I was passing through the lockers the bar person was having a go at the guy for being drunk. When I was leaving the same individual was extremely rude for absolutely no reason, I don't know whether he has M.H. issues or was under the influence but his behaviour was inappropriate and how he spoke to me and other paying visitors was the same. It could have become confrontational only for me managing the situation. He was a well nourished guy, looking pretty unkempt in his 30's but looked older. If I was the owner I'd get rid of this guy as I won't be back and I'm sure other people won't be either as there are many options out there. For both of these reasons I feel the place only deserves 1 star.
Robert Martin Evans: Great place to socialise with others. The beer garden is spaced out, Also the atmosphere is great for Gays,. Chris the host is such a nice guy , made me feel welcome on first arrival, all i can say its great =]THE SAUNA IS OPEN TILL 7AM ON WEEKEND
Danny Singh: I visited the sauna last night. Straight away I was greeted by a nice young lad at reception who gave me my towel and locker key. The owner also greeted me in such a kind way. All the facilities were open and clean unlike other saunas I've been too. I would highly recommend coming down to this sauna. Great staff and a lovely atmosphere.
René Němec: Awful. Avoid. Unprofessional stuff, website showing outdated information, bartender deliberately provided incorrect info. Raised to manager who didn't care to say simple sorry. Please make yourself a favour and don't waste your time and money.
jason clouston: First time here and it was amazing, great staff and great guys here, simple chat or more, to be honest I've never been to a all male establishment before, but this place is brilliant, have a look
Fabian Ahmed: The staff were lovely but the clientele weren't really my type.
Stuart: Visited Sunday and found it to be friendly enough. Is a small place but seemed decent and was relatively clean etc.Nice bar area.
Victor Marichal: The sauna is small but has a bar where you can have a drink and relax a bit. The staff is very kind and friendly. At the entrance they gave me a wet towel, the area of the lockers is very narrow and smelled bad, the jacuzzi itself is not a jacuzzi, the part of the showers was the worst there are only two and if one is on the other does not have pressure, sometimes that area became clogged and a large pool of water was created and the entire floor was very dirty. In the time I was there I did not see anyone cleaning anything. Although the staff and the bar are very good, the sauna itself could be cleaned more often and more now with the issue of covid.
Eddie Douglas: - Friendly staff; Chris is great!- £14 entrance fee which is ok at weekends but possibly reduce the price weekdays to attract more people to visit!- Facilities are ok.- The bar is fine and a good selection of soft and alcoholic beverages.
Adam Taylor: Heard the place has had a massive refurbishment ready for the opening. Cant wait to go in and see it. The sign on the gaye to I register your email at heatsauna.com to see when it ls open and we can meet up 😉
Steve Clough: Very friendly staff a cracking sauna always gave a good time good value for money good bar food ok defo recommend

PFP: Everything was fine. Arrived early due to making arrangements to travel during another annoying train strike. Contacted the property was given instructions to allow immediate access. Facilities were good, bed very comfortable. Located near to Supermarkets Aldi, Asda Sainsbury. Anything I needed was therefore at hand. Plenty if Pubs and Restaurants near by. Would stay again and would recommend to anyone.
roy borrill: Passed it briefly and never went in.
Jen: When I arrived I had to make a phonecall in order to check in. Initially there was some confusion as the owner thought she'd rang me earlier on to ask me to go to their other hotel as they were overbooked. I however had received no such call and even if I had, it wouldn't have been convenient at all for me to have been moved. The confusion was however resolved and I was given clear detailed step by step instructions about how to gain access. I was pleasantly surprised by the room and shared bathroom; it was clean and spacious. The bed was was also super comfortable and I had a great nights sleep. Now the breakfast; it was odd but I knew what to expect based on other reviews (paninis, jam, variety box of cereal, yoghurt, capri sun) but I was more than happy to embrace it. I was however disappointed to discover that the paninis seemed stale, and then I discovered that they were best before 2 days earlier. It was a let down at the end of a otherwise lovely 'overnight stay'.
Luca Campanile: Absolutely spot on!!!! Highly recommended!!!!
Sa Ru: Very clean ,warm and comfortable accommodation, I can not think of going anywhere else while working in Stockport. Thank you Overnight Stays for your hospitality will certainly come back and I highly recommend you.
Neville hopkinson: Stayed here on numerous, occassions be back again soon.
Sue Pîmlott: Room was perfectly OK apart from the heating, it was sweltering , it was cold outside, the room was unbearable, couldn't turn the radiators off or down, slept on top of the bedding. Bathroom even hotter noisy too, doors banging all night.
Maureen Rowland: Lovely bed & breakfast handy for shops, buses,Asda, take aways, pubs, parking.been here 3 times now, would come back again.Xx
Michael Curzon: Bed most uncomfortable I've ever slept on, one pillow each, and 'breakfast included'!, 1 pack of Warburton thins, 1 variety box of rice krispies, and a banana.Apparently called a continental breakfast!!!Thank god for wetherspoons around the corner.!!Rooms: 2/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Lynn Marie Firth: Spacious room. Comfortable bed, could of done with extra pillows though. All in all it did the job
Victor Tueridei: Good
Mac Knife: Nice little room and very economical. Boiler in room is noisy, but pleasant outlook to the garden. Charming outlook to garden at the rear and access to the shops, pubs and hospitals.
Mohammed Anser: Really good and excellent service providers ... Definitely your money's worth! Will recommend!
Florentina P: Nice and cozy place to stay
Andy Barras: Love it

Yumi: The bartender and the Irish staff were rude and so unhelpful(one English staff was trying his best and kind). Location’s great, but terrible facility. Heater and remote control in the room were broken, and the electric shower in the bathroom didn’t work well. They have two shower rooms but one is broken and neither one was clean.Edit: we stayed there on Nov 2nd, 2022, thank you.
Allan Whyte: As owners of this business we would like to apologise and respond to the complaints of rudeness from our door staff. We have not ignored these complaints. Each time there has been a bad review we have discussed it with our doorman, it wasn’t acceptable to be rude to anyone, if we continued to receive these reviews there would be consequences. Each time we were assured that our comments were taken on board, that he didn’t think he was rude, even though the rude reviews continued. Some months ago we told him, change your attitude or we will find a replacement, Tony had been with us for many years, rudeness wasn’t the experience of our regulars, only those unfamiliar, which is no excuse. We also said we didn’t think he had the capacity to change and adapt to today’s expectations of customer service. It was his last chance.Unfortunately, the reviews about rudeness continued, we were forced to end our long relationship with Tony regrettably, as it had become crystal clear that the benefit of the doubt had been exhausted. We now have a new company supplying our door services, Core Guard Security, Daniel is an experienced operator who is not only knowledgeable about security, he is also knowledgeable about today’s expectations with customer service. We would like to apologise to those potential customers who have experienced any rudeness in the past, it isn’t acceptable. Had you been allowed to experience inside, I’m sure you would agree that our friendly bar team and regulars are very welcoming to nice people. We will continue to make sure our space is welcoming to nice people, we will also continue to make sure it isn’t welcoming to those that aren’t, although we accept it isn’t always easy to get that judgement right 100% of the time.
M Beckket: Awful doorman, in response to the owner this happened the same day of my review - the bad reviews don't lie - avoid this placeSafety: DANGER: Doorman has made very inappropriate comments towards my female friends when we went to enter, very creepyNoteworthy details: Might be nice if there is nobody on the door to verbally assault you as you enter, we grabbed tickets for another event from here and had to wait for the doorman to leave before we could enter
ShirleyShambles: I was here in Jan 23, not been back since, I actually avoid going here now.Discrimination and bullying at its finest from the doorman. The reviewes are totally true. I've had the same experience as many of the reviews state. He's a bully!I do wonder why a long standing bar that's a staple of the village community isn't taking into account these reviews about the doorman. There's clearly a much bigger problem. There's bad reviews all over the place about him, everyone saying the same thing? It's clearly an issue and needs investigating properly.
Graham North: Great place to have drinks and meet up with friendsService: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

YAFEA ALYAFEI: Amazing bar. Great vibes. The location is great. The staff were friendly and helpful. Prices are great. The place is great for a quick drink while bar hopping around Manchester canal Street and the gay village.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Leanne Dawson: Very rude and hostile security guard on the door. Likes to play God and it is very clear this is a common theme having seen all the reviews.Never experienced anything like it! We enjoyed our night in the other bars on canal street instead.
Rebekah Peacock: I took my friend for her first trip to the Village on Sunday night. Been here a few times in the past to be told on Sunday that no women were allowed in as it was a men only bar by the rudeness, must hostile bouncer I have ever come across! Not only is this highly illegal but also there were women in there so a blatant lie. Iwork in hospitality myself and if I ever spoke to anybody the way he was speaking to potential customers I 100% wouldn't have a job! Absolutely vile man, no credit to the bar whatsoever and put my friend off of visiting the Village again! 😒
Shannon Santos: Found this place on short notice, as I was due to get the train down on the announced strike day of October 1st.The hotel is decent enough, with its select rooms. It was easy to find, in the heart of Manchester’s Gay Village and check-in was smooth. To check-in, ask at the bar and they’ll confirm your booking reference. They then had you the keys and give a briefing on which keys are what and how to use them, as there’s at least two safety doors you need to unlock. The room itself was OK, quite small but it’s not like you need a ton of space anyway. There was a double bed, tea/coffee making facilities but no milk (so buy some, if you take milk) - a minor complaint - a mini fridge, and lamp. There was hooks and a shelf on the other side of the room. Bathroom was nice.Wi-Fi was perfect, I must stay. Held a Skype phone call for almost 17 hours until I hung up.So, before I stayed, I checked out the other reviews and I believe this had been revamped/renovated since as you could see some wear/tear but it was nothing to get upset about. The door not fitting 100% into place was a little worrying, but nothing a good shove couldn’t fix. It’s located above a bar and a night club, so it’s very loud, but you should know this when you book. They provide two sets of ear plugs, which is nice. They’re needed as the music continues until 4.My biggest complaint was probably the bed, as I felt every spring. Not exactly Premier Inn, as I’m ironically writing this from one, but you get what you pay for. If I could ask for one thing to be changed, it would be a new mattress OR at least a foam protector.Another minor complaint was that there was no lift, my suitcase was too heavy for me to lift all that way by myself, but it was fine.Other than that, I didn’t mind the stay at all and would stay again knowing what to expect. I have stayed in much, much worse places.
pete ward: Discrimination at its finest from the bouncers on the door! 1st time tryed to get in told us to go to Tropicana 2nd time he said it was a private party turned then he let 4 people in it asked him a private party? Then he lets us in! Then he had the cheek to go the bar staff and not serve us. Bouncer should have a word too!
Scott Menzies: Fiver for a drink on a Saturday night, friendly crowd and good music. Great for a chat amongst friends, draught selection needs improvement. A cosy hole.Service: 4/5|Location: 3/5 …More

Justine F: La boîte de nuit dans l'hôtel ferme à 6h et c'est donc très bruyant. Les murs sont fins et on entend tout.L'hôtel est bien situé malgré tout.Noteworthy details: Boite de nuit dans l'hôtel
Josef Bilek: I would love to express my gratitude to the member of staff and her manager who works at the hotel. I messed up my booking and had to do some changes in it. Hayden Hayze: We stayed here for a weekend (Thursday - Sunday) and enjoyed our time here. It was pretty loud at night, but it was to be expected due to being above a pub/showbar. The staff were friendly and I felt incredibly safe despite it being a new experience for me. I absolutely would stay again!(They/He)Rooms: Rooms were very clean and tidy and you were asked every morning if there was anything you needed (i.e. towels, coffee and tea, etc.) Beds were super soft and cozy!Noteworthy details: We were prepared and aware, but for anybody looking to stay for a quiet nights sleep, I'd perhaps look elsewhere as it is above a showbar and if you're a light sleeper it may be difficult for you to tolerate as the music and cheering and singing can be pretty loud and goes on till late. However, going into the bar was a blast and alot of fun so if you can't beat them, definitely join them!
MADDOGLEP: First visit in many a long year..a first for Martin. No real ale ( seems to no longer exist in any of the Village pubs.) but a pleasant Strongbow. Pavement seating on Canal St. Big indoor area for the busy nightlife. Loud music.Took cash.Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Alexandra Kafetzaki Apostolaki: It’s a nice hotel, great for LGBTQI+ and most stuff (if not all) are part of the community. However, it’s located in a busy area so I wouldn’t recommend if you have to wake up early in the morning. The building is old but it’s good if you’re in town for chill vacation and nights out.
Liam Binns: nice nightclub ❤️ this place the staff are lovely the rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. The entertainment is also amazing you cant go wrong everything you need for a good time is right on your doorstep. Drinks prices are also reasonable.
Teo Teuz: Squallido, rumore assordante tutta notteScappate

Jacek Szarawaga: How is it possible they dont allow single person to come in. They explain only 2 or more can enter. Thats racism and the most funny thing is that they fight for equality.
Rebecca Mather: Came to the bar tonight for the drag show. Had a wonderful time. Had to leave mid way through second part due to one of our party being ill. Sorry to the host, felt a bit rude leaving mid way.
Gokul Vinod: stayed here for 1 week. good experience, friendly staffs and services are also good
Charlie Gillespie: Very unreceptive to straight people. Drag act needs to brush up on his jokes too.Service: 1/5 …More
James Rickman: Recently visited with a group of cis males and was welcomed with a rather agrresive MC. The evening was uncomfortable to say the least, as a newly 'out'd' man I would not recommend this establishment due to is uninclusive environment.
Jack Harris: Firstly, I'm reviewing the hotel, not the bar or club.Whilst the location is fantastic for Canal Street, the amenities within the room were extremely lacking. The bed sheets and towels were dirty, no bath mat on the floor, no toilet seat cover, no toilet brush, only a couple of hangars, no drawers to store your clothes (meaning we had to lay them on the floor) and the complete lack of finishing touches made the room feel like a less comfortable locker. The bath mat was particularly a strange point as their notice explicitly states to use it as otherwise it's a fall hazard but yet they do not provide one. The noise at night was insufferable too, although to be expected from the location, but the dumpsters full of glass bottles being emptied into trucks at 0700 was not the most pleasant noise to be awoken to. Furthermore, the noise didn't end at early morning but rather 0600 as the last guests trickled out, even on a Sunday, meaning the sleep was short, broken, and left us groggy the next day. Check in wasn't great either, having to stand in a noisy bar trying to get the solitary barmaids attention before being spotted by the presumed manager.Sadly, besides the location, I can think of nothing positive to say about this place, and would not recommend it to others as plenty of better hotels are within a short walking distance. I feel they've expanded into the motel business without properly being informed of what needs to be done to make it a pleasant stay.
Harriet R: DO NOT STAY HERE. Very poor experience staying at this hotel. They played loud music from early evening until 6am, staff greeted us but then charged a deposit for room keys which we weren't made aware off. Staff shouted down the halls outside the rooms. Bedroom door didn't shut correctly and overall didn't feel like a safe environment to stay in. They prioritise club attendees over hotel guests. The room did look clean but the shower gel and hand soap had separated along with a rip in the actual duvet itself along side several cracks, dents and damage on the walls. The scart cable hung from the TV and went into a connector which was placed between the outdoor window and the indoor window sliders. Cleaners came in everyday, cleaned everything and changed towels whether you wanted it or not. Sadly, we didn't feel safe enough to stay here another night even though we booked it and couldn't get a refund. Had to go up the road to premier inn and pay out more money.
Lucie Clark: I visited here last year in July. It was for a night out on Canal Street and I came across here. It was still in lockdown so everyone unfortunately seated at separate tables but that didn't stop us having fun. There was a drag queen who was DJing who was super funny, throwing patter with the crowd. She was also accommodating to any music requests. They operated an order through the app method for drinks which was really easy to use (perhaps too easy lol). The drinks were super affordable, not over priced at all.I can honestly say I had one of the best nights out in my life here. Would Definitely recommend visiting.

Emily Jones: We went to Bredbury Hall for a wedding and had a triple room for the night. The room was lovely, very clean and bright, and good value including a decent breakfast the morning after. Considering the hotel is in the middle of Stockport, it felt very rural and picturesque, and the outside area was stunning. The barn was lovely, we did go to the hotel bar for drinks because we wanted draft beers, but James the bar manager was very helpful and accommodating, and all staff were friendly and nice. Expensive drinks though! We wanted to book a room in June but were told we would need to stay for two nights which we don't need, so gutted about that! We loved staying and would have loved to have booked in again.

Ravi Kumar: Not even bother to respond customer request, very dissatisfied with a level of serviceNoteworthy details: Noteworthy to stay
Simeon Grundy: Hotel is extremely clean, staff very polite and approachable.Breakfast is standard HIE affair cooked/continental and juices. Breadbuns sadly were stale. Additionally the restraunt in the evening was Uber busy with only one chef, so very very long wait for food - food was nice when it arrived but for me took far too long. Management need to ensure their staff are supported adequately. Also had youths running riot down the corridors most of the evening - says a lot about the adults who were supposed to be overseeing them.
Stephen Houghton: Excellent place ,spotlessRooms: Spacious and extremely cleanNearby activities: Everything within easy walking distanceSafety: Very safeWalkability: EasyFood & drinks: Breakfast excellent, drinks very reasonable
James and Cassie: Room was reasonably comfortable but rather tired, with a number of stains to the walls/furnishings, missing a curtain (meaning we were woken up by the sun), and the bathroom decorations starting to severely deteriorate.Breakfast buffet was adequate, but was slow being restocked. Similarly, the furniture in the dining area is more suited for use as a cafe rather than a restaurant.
Peter Evans: Very, very, comfortable hotel.Room was very well prepared, and Spotlessly clean.Great location if you're using Stockport, and the station.

John Ferguson: Food & drinks: Food was poor we had an evening meal of Thai curry rice and nan bread , the curry was quite bland ,the rice was only warm and the nan bread was dry and crispy .we ordered a portion of fries with the skins on , we got a portion of warm fries which were just like they'd come from mc Donald's. Our breakfast in the morning was , bacon undercooked sausage ok eggs were only warm and only scrambled ,hash browns warm and greasy, no other choices available ,even bread was only white and a bit dry .
Marin: A nice new hotel in Stockport. There is no fitness or gym in the hotel. However, there is a public gym and pool just around the corner, which you can pay privately. Ask hotel for discount.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 3/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
