Asda Stockport Superstore: what do users think?
Ryan Jackson: Just had a coffee in the cafe whilst killing time. The coffee was nice, place was clean
Michael Eldred: Usual Asda stock.
Julian Whitehead: Like a holding pen for the Jeremy Kyle show.
Brian Henshall: Can't get app to work
paul grealey: Smallish supermarket but with plenty of covered parking, so no need to get wet, good quality at reasonable prices.
Nigel Harrison: A fantastic store with everything in I need
mark kelly: Lots of goods, nothing special though
john duckworth: Good store. Bargain prices and nice staff.
Viktorija Bubelytė: 4 stars cause I can't find the bloody entrance
Joanna D: Most unwelcome Asda store I've ever been to. Never again. Came to buy one item on the way home 15 min before the closing at 4.30. Found myself in the store car park I had to pay to get refunded upstairs if I spent 5 pounds. But this for the feature reference only for half an hour so people avoid. The machine mas so temperamental i had to try for 5 min. I would have left but I needed a ticket to get out and needed to be refunded upstairs. I'm not leaving them a £1 (even so) for nothing. So managed. Went to the only entry through dirty and smelly car park to find out there was a lady at 10 min before closure not letting anybody in. I explained I just want my refund so i need to get in and i need to make that £5 pound purchase . I didn't made those rules...I stood there arguing with her and there was other people confused and angry about the same issue. She finally let me in with massive fuss on her face. I ran in bought that one item which took me 5 min because going in taking that long through very long ramp. Managed to pay on time but the other people were literally shouted at by I think young manageress where they been approached the till at the time minute before the advertised closure they won't be able to be served now! I felt so gross and uncomfortable I never before. In Altrincham asda I always shop its nice and people are polite to each other. I know they want to finish work but advertising shop being open not service at specific time should allow people to enter. The workers work longer past the time shop closes. I would never come for a huge shopping few min before closure but one small item i don't feel uncomfortable going in. But you can't here. You just pay to park and lose your money..avoid at all cost. I feel sorry for the workers there as I bet the management there is the same as they are to customers. Happy to live in Altrincham not Stockport.
Orlando Sebastiao: I loved it, welcoming people, I intend to return
Colette Boswell: Great selection of everything. Prices are OK, but going up by the minute. The pharmacy really let the rating down. The customer service was appalling, and the service was so slow.
Kieron Fairclough: Good biggish store. I get lost trying to find things everytime. But nice it's all sorted in am order
Carol Jones: We enjoy shopping here. The aisles are wide so you can shop with no pressure or banging into people, staff are very helpful. And enough tills open so you don't have to wait long to be served.
Edward Carter: Good food at very good prices. The introduction of their new loyalty app is a great bonus.
Ivan Fila: big place, couldent find what i was looking for tho.
Sunil Bhushan Sharan: Groceries etc. are available here.
TERESA JEWELL: Good shopping
Healthy Grocers: ALL groceries ETC ❗ plus sitting in & parking 🅿️ very nice 👍
Tahira Arshad: Easy parking
Tom Hudson: They need to reopen the escalators (the lift is way too slow & small

Tesco Extra: what do users think?
Lennox Braithwaite: Got a few need items
Lam Ng: Large local space
Jay Bowden: The store was more useful for me when it used to be 24 hour — but the stock is fairly decent. Also the staff have either been quite lovely or quite rude… concerning all of my supermarket shopping, this store has probably had the rudest interactions I’ve had. I remember a lady with glasses coming to clear an age-restricted item for me, and she randomly said “you’re welcome” when I hadn’t said anything then stormed off onto the next person. Strange — but as a reliable store, it doesn’t deserve a lower rating than three stars
Maximilian Fischer: Pretty much a one stop shopping experience. Free parking too. Can get very busy though.
Andy Donley: Good size store plenty of parking space.Looking like a restocking going on so some items difficult to find
antonio marinelli: Free parking with plenty of space, and being a Tesco extra it has more stock and selection than a normal Tesco, toilets are at the back of the store on 1st floor near the cafe.
DANa Vit: Good stuff to buy
mary pearson: Had breakfast it wasn’t value for moneyWho’s heard of English breakfast with no tomato cold egg and dried up bacon and the plate made it colder that was cold as wellWon’t use Tesco cafe again in Stockport
Craig Sherris: Good produce, good stock levels. Easy parking incl. EV charging
AryAbod Siharyvani: Staff are amazing. All the shelf fillers are amazing. The check outs are amazing, also went to the cafe upstairs and I did find staff to be very friendly and helpful willing to go extra to make sure you comfortable and got everything you need.
Michael van Weber: Great advantage when you have a Tesco club card
AJ M: Okay, just like any other Large Tesco.
Steven Howe: Pretty good, big free carpark, open long hours, big store with wide range of products, staff are usually nice and helpful.
Michael Smith: Wide range of products and friendly staff. It loses a star because it is self serve only after 10pm.
Ian Bougen: Excellent store also staff so friendly and helpful especially Roy and Vicky being our first time using self scanner so helpful going that extra mile thank you.
Aaron Letch: I like Tesco. My only issue is the self service tills are set way to sensitively for measuring my bags. I end up having to bag up at the end as I have little patience and don’t want to wait for a member of staff to ok my bags.
Ken Tipton: Good selection mainly helpful staff can be a pain when staff are picking or filling shelves
Frank: Security very helpful .. can't walk very well due to injury .. let me chill while sorted a scooter out for me.. very polite... 12.50pm 08/03/23
keith holgate: It's easy to shop and the staff are very helpful
Zinnia Zinnia: Best fishmonger, fresh fish and reasonable price. Unfortunately, Tesco closing all fishmongers from the supermarket. What a tragedy! :-(
Charles Nicholson-Cocker: Its a supermarket

Lidl: what do users think?
John Hyman: Good service
John Whatling: Nice store well set out.👍
Lee Cobb: Large store with all that you would expect to find in an English supermarket with a German twist.
Avril LEWIS: Lidl visited here a few times, the store is very very clean upon arrival.all nicely set out lovely Vegetables, flowers and the freshly made cakes are to die for. like almost all products sold in here. staff help if you want to know where items are. The only negative I have is the person at the door as you go into Store is begging and mumbling at you when you do not give him anything, its a bit off putting as you feel pressured to give. which is everybody's choice.
ROBIN VARGHESE: Good
Beverley Nicholls: Very good got everything i need and at agood price very friendly stsff
Jasmine Apolka Wöller: Huge fresh bakery section. Great deals on food and non-food.I moved here from Germany, this definitely reduced the culture shock 😉
Bob Hazlewood: Very nice store. Impressed
Samuel Laycock: Screaming customer in here on my last visit. Security staff trying to manhandle an obviously mentally ill lady out of the store. As they tried to lift / drag her off the property she screamed and screamed. My children became distressed and asked why wasn't this poor lady given juice and chocolate.. From the mouths of babes.... She had been found doing something against policy but that is not the way to deal with a mentally unstable hysterical individual. A gentle arm to a back room and something to drink while waiting for the police to arrive is allot kinder than trying to dragg this poor woman out the door...
Dilbur Singh: Excellent supermarket with everything that you need 👌
Colette Boswell: Great prices, good selection, and brilliant customer service.
Carol Rotherham: Most of the things I went in for were not on the shelf e.g. raspberries
Joshua Smith: Prices are normally very good especially on the middle isle items when they have what you want. You very often have to queue for a little while due to lack of any self service tills.
les standing: Not been in
Janie Dodsworth: Fairly quiet in store. Friendly staff. Great prices for veg this week
H F: Has good selection of groceries
Brian Henshall: Never no Giger ale
norman ford: The first time I've used a lidl found it very clean well stocked and laid out normally use Tesco's first impressions are it's a bit cheaper than Tesco's was very surprised will be using again
john lyon: Not enough tills open otherwise good. Still good value, the range of produce it getting better. in house bread is good. And now almond croissants in the bakery.
Mumtaz Ali: Friendly staff and prices are good
John Hobson: excellent choice of goods available well displayed will definitely use again

Sainsbury's: what do users think?
chris hughes: Great staff, can't praise them enough. Always happy and helpful
Michelle Anten: I have been a regular shopper at the store since it opened 2002/3. I have always found the staff to be very helpful and pleasant, they have a good variety of products, the instore argos click and collect is very useful. Cafe could do with improving as very slow service not very organised. Toilets always clean.
Michael Eldred: The usual quality and service
Smart Education: Good service in cafe Wed morning at around 10 and got the item I wanted in TU sale!
Graeme Weatherall: An OK little Sainsbury’s but it is seemingly understaffed at times.
Jay Bowden: Perhaps the best Sainsbury’s that I’ve been in, and in such an ideal place for you to then get other stuff from either Asda or M&S afterwards if needs be
꧁ Stormi ꧂: Pretty good shopping experience, tad expensive in some items but if you know what the prices on things are then you can usually find a cheaper alternative. Disappointed that sometimes the flowers don't have any bags, so the shop ends up with wet floors and sad, soggy customers. The bathrooms are very stinky, but that is due to the shoppers, not the shop itself.
Deborah Horton: Lots of choice, bargains and a clean friendly staffed shop
Karl “NoSheet” Coleman: Good for shopping, overpriced in some areas but really quiet in the evening 8-10pm if you hate crowds
zulweni: Nice store. Very clean and helpful staff
Debbie Alton: Always like coming here, can get things here that are unavailable in other stores, staff are always nice & friendly.
David Wales: Plenty of free parking if shopping in store, just note that there is no instore pharmacy it is permanently closed now .
Nick Wilbourne: Has most things but is exspensive compared to Aldi some price matched items. Mince in vac packs looks awful puts everyone off buying tried cooking it and it's does cook well
joy Joym: I pop in here after hospital visits . Good range of clothes for everyone... they stopped selling cds ages ago which I miss picking one up when I shop .. picked up some food items also .. not overpriced ...
Theresa Romana Ndoro: Spacious, love their bakery, friendly staff
alan lee: overpriced sarnies!
Faheem Ahmed: Smart shop scanner didn't work properly...
Geoffrey Fox: No pharmacy now....Some foods out of stock...Looking a bit dated....needs revamping.
Jacqui Byrne: Love shopping at sainsburys. Decided to call in cafe with my sister. I was extremely disappointed with the staffing today, the poor lad on his own. Taking orders, on the till, making coffee, running food out to tables. We Felt quite uncomfortable to see this. Other staff members in the back and occasional coming out to wipe tables and take the trolley out. I use to work for m&s and we all would of jumped on to help service the customers. Then clean tables.etc. as there was enough spare tables. The management needs to address there staffing
Kevin Underhill: There is a argos here too free parking and toilets

Tesco Express: what do users think?
Gary hamnett: In and out, cinnamon buns a bit dry
John Green: They blatantly lied to me, and tried to fob me off to a customer services email address that doesn't even work. Poor show. Had a small issue that they have made much worse if they would just try and help me.
Alex Cowling: Use this store on a regular basis on my way back from school run and on my way to work. Really pleasant blonde manager today had to put up with a customer pushing the trolley away from his important loaf of bread. Dealt with very well in a calm professional way considering how rude the customer was. Its amazing what you see sometimes. Well done to manager not sure what her name is.
Lennox Braithwaite: Picked up a few sell by date items for my tea a good price, well one has to budget in these trying times, but it has been a beautiful day for October
Sybil Fox: Always good
Carl Wakefield: Recent refit. Decent tesco express. It is what it is. Always quiet, no queues
Kip Cole: The older ones need a weekend away learning about customer service, it would give them a break and they MAY get thier customer service mojo back
Suzanne Thurston: Yes I agree with the man who says that they should have The same pricing for everyone here I only use it for things like my Magazines or Lottery its extremely unfair that none club card users ha e to pay more
ken ellis: Clean, tidy, ample parking, easy accessable, polite helpful staff, convenient, little to pricey for me, but for convenience shopping OK, hate tesco club card, prices should be discounted for everybody, and the pricing in the shop for ordinary people and club card card people is not fare, prices should be the same for every one, you shouldn't have to have a club card to get a discounted price, atrocious marketing and division
Paulina Carr: It's a standard Tesco, although the staff are always really nice and friendly whenever I go in.
Liam Kenrick: Awful shop mainly due to the manager Mike who sends inappropriate txts to old staff
Frenchy: Has all the little things for a quick buy you need! Staff is friendly.
tortiepuss: A very popular little store considering Morrisons, and Aldi are only metres away. Prices , as expected, are a little higher than the larger stores, but the fresh fruit and vegetables are very reasonable.
Pete Allen: It's like a big tesco except smaller with less items but at least they're at higher prices
Sarah Green: Just been into this shop, far too many people in there, no staff member managing the entrance, kids in there running around coughing and sneezing, social distancing not being encouraged by staff, queues all over the place. A really upsetting experience.
Mark C: Social distancing well marked out on the floor and well stocked.
Leona Clarke: Honestly found this experience a tad embarrassing, my mirror had come off on my car and I had to drive back to Bradford. I came in asking the lady if they had glue so i could fix it, she pointed me towards some, I tried to buy it and she refused to serve me because I didn't have ID, I'm way over the age of 18, absolute ridiculous. Then I came back in as my oil light came on, and apparently they don't sell oil either.
Ash: Last time I will ever go tesco. The one star flatters this store. I went in this morning to purchase a few items on way to work. As I got to the till there was no sales assistant, lady who should have been serving was in the alcohol Isle unboxing stock. Looked right at me and turned her back. Stood there for almost 10 minutes waiting to be served. In the end I had to leave my items on the till and walk out. Every little helps? I think not.
abi peirpoint: great little shop
Deshant Mahajan: Very good place for quick shopping

Asda Stockport Belmont Supermarket: what do users think?
lewis: Has good parking and a good range of products for is size
darren “Jones7390” jones: Good for a quick shop.
EarthlyEmpath: I shop here all the time and it is very stressful. All the place needs is an open checkout and somebody on the till. It is either self service machines, or squeezing all of your shopping into that little gap at the cigarette counter. It is called a cigarette counter for a reason. I have massive anxiety every time I go in there. I can't handle the self service machines, I don't like troubling somebody to come and verify my age, I can never find a carrier bag and I sometimes buy a lot of things and end up balancing them on top of each other because the baggage area is too small. The other option is to join the long queue at the cigarette counter, and feel terrible for making everybody wait. I actually cried in there once because an old lady just wanted to buy a box of chocolates and some flowers. She was literally stood at the self service checkout for 20 minutes trying to scan her phone. She had no idea what she was doing. Luckily, the lovely Mary came to the rescue and opened a till. I wouldn't have bothered to leave a review at all, if it weren't for the few pleasant experiences I have had with some of the staff. Most recently was with Jayne behind the checkout. I did a really expensive shop, and she insisted that I download the Asda rewards app on my phone to get the points. She was amazing and got me a fiver in rewards. I also want to thank John for helping me a few times on the self service checkouts and carrying my shopping outside.PLEASE...open a checkout.
Gary Shepherd: Good for a shop
Maggie Foster: Okay store and some nice staff members. However they are unfortunately let down by some rude members of staff. A couple of the older ladies in particular are very rude and impatient with customers. Even elderly ones. I understand it must be a stressful environment at times. Especially on the kiosk for lottery which always has long lines. But some customers deserve a little more kindness and understanding and maybe even a smile? It’s free!
Joanne Cartwright: Use to think this place was ok. But odd staff abit rude behind your back. I asked could i get through as there was a cage and a pallet with a few crates on as where the veg are. Two staff members one male one female was chatting away. I repeat myself to get passed. The female staff looked at me and looked at the gap. Which she realized was blocked but to do facial expressions behind my back to her fellow male staff.he looked at her and gave her the sign as if to say no. So rude if they don't like the job then leave. The lady has dyed red hair and of heavy build. And the guy is tall slim guy. I shop here regularly. Maybe it was the weather as being hot but still no need for rudeness.
Hayley Murphy: Small store but well stocked
kia tashkoron: Good customer service you can finde chep item after 7 o'clock but you need too make sure on Sunday they will be closed at 14.00 o'clock and bank Holiday as well
Shell Jones: Always well stocked, helpful staff. Parking can be difficult during busy periods as it has a small capacity.
Jeff Jones: Good place to shop
Elektra: Hellish. Staff ignore queues and are rude. Collection of a parcel was a ridiculous farce. The manager appeared and directed the staff to do their jobs but unless she's there telling everyone how function you will be trapped in a slow paced nightmare. Avoid.
Ian Scholes: Great little store.
Jason Fallows: Brilliant
JTAWMBARTIST: Rubish milk to high for wheelchair users lookly had a little bit of mobilty to reach the google pay with watch not wheelchair freindly at all lack of staff next time i got to coop/Iceland for proper google pay watch wheelchair facilities and pay the extra 20p 1* star as kerry says thats why mums go to iceland
Carl Bray: Nice local smallish supermarket
John Duggan: Asda Belmont excellent parking. In and out. Ideal for single people shopping and farm foods
Olajide Lafinhan: Small local Asda. Reddish store on Manchester Road is bigger and has a wider range of groceries.
Paul Burton: No staff on tills is a regular occurrence. Some staff members do not wear masks so are not following Asda Walmarts covid policy.
kerry jane: Need more staff on the tills
Darren Penman: Got a chicago town takeaway pizza £4.00 there was a block of ice on the back of the box. Got home put it in the oven when it was "cooked" it was rock solid the cheese looked like the cheese on £1.00 pizza's and the base was hard. Through it straight in the bin!!!!!! Will not be shopping here again!!!!!! 😡
Keri Newton: Really friendly and helpful staff were Lways bobbing in as it's close by.

Local Shop: what do users think?
Ant Robert Jones (Anthony): Unhelpful and rubbish service with not much in stock. Go round the corner, much better. I went in to cash a Paypoint voucher, all that needed to be done was a quick scan of a bar code and the cashier couldn't even do that.I went round the corner and it took 2 seconds to sort.
