Waitrose & Partners Poynton: what do users think?
Tara: I felt quite upset today. I used the hand held self scanners and bought three items, two of which needed she verification. The girl did this then asked to check my bag to see what was in it. I have to say I left feeling quite upset. She gave me no explanation as to why she wanted to check my bag. Not a happy customer 😡
Mike Walton: Good product but the price reflects thisAlso now turned into a discounter but you have to be able to use the Marketing Whizzkids Apps to get offersNot for older peopleThey miss the point and think price is the only problem but check out is disgraceful whereas in both Lidl and Aldi it is well organisedThey need to rethink
Alistair Stevenson: Nice sized branch of class food and essential kitchenware. Friendly, helpful staff.
Carl Wakefield: It's an OK supermarket. A woman nearly ran me over in the car park and then abused me so I documented her identity so others can be aware to watch out for her when walking in the pedestrian area.
Alan Ashton: Great store - plenty of room/good security.Excellent product range + good offers. Very helpful staff.Big Carpark.Great for collecting on-line orders - John Lewis.Plus FREE Coffee is back whilst shopping - use your own Mug.
Peter de Courcy: Lovely branch - well stocked (obviously not tomatoes!) with easy checkouts and friendly staff. One happy Poynton visitor.
Guava Iamguava: Update February 2023: reduced from 4 stars to 2.What happened to this branch! Absolutely awful, scruffy with empty goods cages taking up the old abandoned bakery area. Very poorly stocked with many empty shelves. Under staffed with miserable, unfriendly employees. Again, what happened? New management?Small branch but quite well stocked. Oh, and free coffee returns next month (November 2022) !
Neville Young: Attentive staff. Wide aisles. Great range of products. No hurried check out. May be more expensive but worth the benefits.
Jeff Jones: Good store to visit staff friendly and helpful.
David Kelly: Always very pleasant and helpfull staff.Excellent meat, fish and deli counters.Pleasure to shop here.
vanessa p standing: Clean, tidy, well stocked.Staff polite, friendly, approachable overall good service.I have walked out a few times when I only wanted a newspaper and there were 2-3 deep with full trollys. So perhaps more communication with the new headphones or more staff for basket till.
G B: Waitrose has a good car park that is used by a number of other facilities in the area.Waitrose have some beautiful flowers and Plant's for sale.Their store is well stocked and the Staff are always very friendly and very helpful. If you have bought small product's from John Lewis online, Waitrose have a pick up in store facility.I recommend Waitrose.
Katrin Randles: Great local store. Friendly staff
Jane Nunn: Lovely staff, helpful and knowledgeable. Great deals and excellent range of products
Tony Whitham: Bit small inside but o.k.
Helen Wilson: Great as always. Staff always willing to help.
Jacqueline Parkinson: Nice shop easy to find things 👌
Emma Cox: The self service tills are shocking, if you have more than half a basket I would use a checkout. They wobble and the weighing area for your bag is smaller than a basket! Bonkers design. Lady looking after the tills was lovely though and a credit to Waitrose.
Howard N Hughes: It's Waitrose, it's everything you expect from Waitrose...staff are friendly and knowledgeable and more than happy to help you. Fresh fish counter, fresh delicatessen, fresh meat counter...free parking with an independent cafe nearby. What more can you want. Do the shopping, take the paper to the cafe and have a fresh cup of coffee whilst reading the paper...
annmarie mannion: Like to see more variety of fish prawns etc
Graham Bosh: Sorry to say the new loyalty scheme is not very good at all, a big problem being no internet coverage in this store. It's just now another store and expensive with the loss of the old customer loyalty scheme.I ve stopped buying from John Lewis in recent years as they seem to have lost their way in the last few years. Sadly the staff are generally very good but badly let down by poor systems.

Back's Deli: what do users think?
Nikki Lunn: Been only once prior to this visit for a gift for someone. This time, I visited for some cakes and lunchtime treats. Both visits I have been impressed by the variety on offer and the catering to vegans etc. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and because its good food you don't mind paying a bit more than you would for similar items at bigger corporations. Definitely a local buisness to support and revisit.
Joshnpk: Back's Deli has always been my favorite sandwich shop, been going for well over 10 years and would always rave to my friends about it.I haven't been for a while so I walked 2 miles in 30c heat just to get one of their sandwiches. I walk in and see the counter with all the lovely meats, cheeses, breads etc. I ask for my usual order only to be told they DON'T make sandwiches anymore! A sandwich shop that doesn't make sandwiches! I was told I would have to have their pre prepared sandwiches, I usually get the Pastrami and am lactose intolerant so I couldn't have the pre prepared pastrami sandwich they had already prepared.I walked back in 30c heat empty handed and due to my allergies and back's stupid decision am unable to go againThoroughly disappointed :(
roy borrill: A Heaton Moor deliCome on, what more do I have to say? This is Heaton Moor where talking about here.
Debbie Downing: Fantastic!!!! Can't wait to come for another visit🙂.
Fran Katerbaum: Great coffee, super selection of fresh fruit and other delicacies, not to forget the awesome bunch of staff. Popping in daily for a brew and a natter!
cfbcity: love your food - staff very friendly and helpful - just need soya so i can buy a latte please :-)
Leo C: Great range of food and drink. Particularly good for Mexican sauces, spices and dried chilies. Excellent beers. Very nice sandwiches and snacks as well as fresh and cured meats.
Laurena Rika: I love Back's Deli products. So fresh and tasty! Highly suggest it! They make a great cappuccino as well!
colin gill: Good quality food, friendly and helpful staff. Value for money.
adam jersak: Cool
Taylor Dolman: They make my most favourite panini's highly recommend.
Sam Beckett: Best sandwiches in stocky
Chris Gozem: Great little deli with lovely fresh produce. The fresh sandwiches, coffees and salads are fantastic as well.
Jaky T: Awful sandwich today very disappointed paid £3.70 for ready made sandwich bread was dry and could hardly see or taste the turkey! I always go here when passing the area but I won’t be going there again! Also I didn’t get my receipt after paying by card I forgot to ask for it and she didn’t offer to give it to me !!
Patsy Kane: Love the quality of the food and friendly service. So appreciate the home delivery
Sarah Delahunty: Fantastic sandwiches!
Roberto Kruszyna: Excellent as always. Even saved our usual for us as in late.
David Lee: Brilliant selection of goods
Kerry Ainge: James, to say we were please with your staff that came to serve for the evening was an understatement. They were exceptional, pro active and really made the evening follow nicely. Please pass our thanks onto them.
Ann Liles: Good gluten free items
James Lowe: Good local delicatessen

Waitrose & Partners Cheadle Hulme: what do users think?
Andrew Brown: Self service ‘help’ must have been the rudest man (boy) I have ever come across. Made me want to crawl to Asda instead for the three things I came for. Absolute end of a bell. Turned a good mood into a horrible one from the attitude. Literally just moved in on the other side of the car park fence. Poor form mate. Won’t be setting foot in again.
Jon King: Good quality foods
Daniel Wint: Not bad little site
Jay Bowden: Perhaps my favourite Waitrose — which works out pretty well considering the fact that it’s my closest 😂 It also works out well that there’s a train station about a 5 minute walk away if even that
Michael van Weber: I was looking to buy a cake. But was informed that it had to be done online.
Max Wild: Small but perfectly formed with the usual friendly and efficient staff!
Amjad Ali: Probably the best produce money can buy in UKClean tidy shop with plenty of friendly staff to help hence the 5 star rating
Anthony Bradburn: Good store
Stephen Senior: Great choice of food. No apparent shortages. Relaxed shopping experience followed by a very fresh cheese salad baguette in the cafe. Excellent!
Trixi Nator: Free coffee if you have the card and order it at the till before you pay.
Amani T: I’m regular customer for waitrose for ages , I’ve been there last night and I did my shopping, the bill coming £105, I paid on the till cash and have some Scottish notes and the guy on the till name LEO refused to take it then he called his manager Name JOSH and he made big story about Scottish note and he refused to take it, he said if you are not happy you can leave and go , was more customers watching what happened even one of the customer involved and said to them it’s unfair what you did, so we both left our things and went outside, it’s unprofessional team really place like Waitrose should teach the employees how to deal with us, specially the young boy Josh to be a manager without any experience how to deal with people it’s a big issue.
Terry L: Excellent range and all the new offers/deals make it highly competitive. Excellent service from very nice, helpful people.
Rujia Wang: 很值得我从曼彻斯特市中心坐车来一趟,就当遛弯了
Paul Harrison: Easy parking quality goods...Sat in car whilst wifey shops!Perfect.
Robyn Wynne: Everything you would expect from Waitrose, excellent quality.
Rob: Good stock levels and nice shop in general ,pleasant staff.
Ryan W: Nice staff. Grabbing my sandwiches for lunch regularly and almost getting £1 voucher for that once a week.
Toby Pett: Good range of products for a relatively small store. There are cheaper places to get your shopping, but they are competitive on essentials and have a selection of premium products that you are unlikely to find at the budget stores.
Zefyra J: Love Waitrose, this store is always helpful
Saul Richman: Easy sufficient parking, good range of products
Sue Rushton: Love the store but not happy about the ‘security guards’ marching around the store. Or the new cameras on quick check out - are we all thieves in CH!!

Waitrose & Partners Wilmslow: what do users think?
Jay Bowden: A fairly good Waitrose with an essential car park that saves a lot of stress whenever I visit here with my friends — you also occasionally get to meet celebrities that don’t want to meet you 😂
Kelly Moses: Great range of products, mostly at competitive prices (though these have been creeping up for some products) and excellent customer service too.
Elizabeth Ainsworth: Very good experience thank you
Kane Coxall: I am a regular shopper at Waitrose in Wilmslow. Staff are always very friendly and the store is always well stocked. However the customer toilets are absolutely horrendous. Dirty, slippery floors, lack of supplies the list goes on. I expect better from a well renowned supermarket. I am shocked that there are multiple reviews about the facilities and it is very clear little has been done. Not good enough! I will be emailing you directly with photos.
赵丽: Very good location 👌 lots of choices
Alison Lodder: Very polite staff. Great choice of products.
Davina Birchenall: Love shopping here and staff are lovely. Free parking for 2 hours
Jeff Yates: No hassle shopping for us nice and local
samantha Zabs: Lovely and convenient to have this locally
Paul Harrison: Never went in just played chauffeur for shmbo 😆 🤣Winner 🏆
Cameron Dick: Friendly staff
Gerald Thorburn: Expensive - and best summed up by a recent "I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue" feature, in a Letter from the mythical Mrs Trellis of Carmarthen, who writes to Jamie Oliver ..."Dear Mr Oliver, after watching your Christmas programme, 'Meals for a Pound' ... armed with £1 I visited my local Waitrose. Unfortunately, however, I shall be going hungry tonight, as on the way home I inadvertently left my brussels sprout on the bus."
Mike P: Nice wide aisles, helpful staff and great reduced counter!
Phil Barton: It's a good supermarket, a wide choice of produce and good quality, but it's very expensive.
Nicola Watson: Always a pleasure to shop here, made even more so being served by a lovely lady at check out, who very kindly took the time to tell me about the app that I didn't know about and told me the feta dip I'd bought was amazing she was right 😀
Diane Marsden: Free parking for 2 hours good quality produce .Bbq range is fantastic
nigel valentine: Always happy to be in Waitrose, quality food with friendly staff
Epic Toby 89: If I could leave 0 stars I would, the voss and fiji water was great, but the toilets need cleaning cause there was poo all around the toilet and it was dirty to the eye
G B: Free parking for approximately 2 hour's?Quite a large store with a wide variety of products.Clean & tidy.Staff were very busy, but went out of their way to help you when you approached them if you were unable to find a product etc or had any other queries!Would recommend this store. This store also has Ladies and Gents Toilet facilities in store which l hadn't known, until l got caught out shopping one day and asked a member of Staffif they knew of any toilet facilities close by and they told me they had that particular facility!
Brent Simpson: Well laid out shop, spacious and great selection
Brian Lowry: Good branch which is not too big not too small. I think it’s good value if you compare like for like- their own brand is better than most “finest” or similar elsewhere.

Waitrose & Partners Altrincham: what do users think?
Tomas Jalowiecki: Essentials range better quality than other retailers 'standard' or premium products. Not any more expensive than other retailers either.
Chelle Scully: Love shopping here its clean and close to me.
Sue Ferguson: Always have food at reasonable prices for all pockets, lovely range of readymeals for that quick dinner.Lovely staff and atmosphere too and lots of varying choice.
Anca Mihalcea: Lovely Waitrose shop with cafe and toilet.Disabled parking spaces. Royal Mail letter box. Other businesses on site. (2023)
Nick Kendall: Everything you'd expect and great offers on occasion but they have the worst self checkout tills of any supermarket!
Lynne Hayward: It's OK when combined with Aldi shopping. Moderate size store with quality choices and part of the high welfare on meat 8f I occasionally buy any. My only gripe are the ridiculously expensive clearance yellow sticker deals as they're more expensive than the buy two deals. So much food must go to waste rather than sell it off at sensible prices.
Steve Barber: Staff always friendly and helpful, good range of products, deep pockets required for some things.
Tara: Excellent Waitrose! The store was very well stocked, tidy, organised with friendly staff. I will definitely be revisiting.
Neil Jacob: If you’re doors are open turn the self service checkouts on.
Kong Ng: 員工雖然表情冷漠,但其實係好熱誠
Allan Garside: Good Food and a Free Cup of Coffee. What's not to like?
berniefb: It's a lovely store with a superb range of quality products, and the best friendly, knowledgeable and courteous staff. Can't recommend enough.
thomas o'sullivan: Warm friendly staff good products
Brian Peirce: Great product range, and helpful friendly staff.
Paul Sutcliffe: Love a Waitrose, need I write more? Staff are always friendly and helpful
Alan Taylor: The go too supermarket, for that something a little different.
Harvey Taylor: Small portions low value
Carol Broomhead: Had everything we wanted, & helpful staff
Paul Edwards: Very good local store, some good offers and good prices, very good opening times, staff helpful and friendly.
Sue Stewart: A good shop at fair prices, the produce always fresh and top quality
Martin Sidebottom: Great storePremium pricesDidn't have what I wanted in stockDohUpdateWent back today and they had all I wanted in stick at more reasonable prices.YipppeeeeeeeM

Waitrose & Partners Alderley Edge: what do users think?
Fran Dorey: Always good quality goods, with always helpful friendly staff.
Calvin Lee: Store was great, bad shopping experience though as a security guard kept following me seemingly because I had a beanie
Fat Cho: Very decent shopping venue with excellent customer service. Highly recommend
Engr Wasim: Awesome place for shoping i suggest that every one visit to this place staff are so copartive😊😊😊
Faheem Ahmed: Parking guy told me to move my car even I go almost everyday for shopping...discusting
Mind AVale: Good customer service. Good Christmas mark downs.
Sue Rushton: Love this store, friendly staff and it’s carries everything I need. Very clean. Car park a bit of a problem but it is everywhere in Alderley.
Birch Kevin: Great supermarket, brilliant choice and super staff
Jason Metcalfe: Bit pricey but ok still
Peter Walmsley: Good sized store but very cold inside & didn't have what we were looking for.
James Ch: Worst customer service ever ,never spending penny with them again
Glenda Dabbs: Not enough choice of food.Prefer a larger store.
David Morris: Staff always polite and helpful
Pee Manning: Lovely helpful lady greeted us at the entrance .......
Karen Bennett: Excellent. Enjoyed my shopping everyone pleasant.
Carole Freeman: Absolutely a lovely day at tattoo park
Brian Lowry: Waitrose is a good shop and good value if you compare like for like goods. At this particular branch there always seems to be a problem with Quick Check, which is different to other branches.
Anna Rebeckah: Debra overheard me tell my partner that i’d like to try a certain vegan food product one day, I put it back and as I went down another aisle she gave me the product and told me to give them a try and that it was on them. I thought that was really lovely, I hope this gets back to Debra how much I appreciate her kindness.
Diane Marsden: Light and airy shop , with a great range of products. The shop always looks clean and tidy. Parking is free for 20 minutes if you display a ticket.By the time you have queued for the ticket machine gone back to your car and displayed it and got your bags and a trolley I think you get about 15 minutes. At busy times the car park is often full.Overall it is worth a visit 7am-8am weekdays is the quiet time .
Andy Whittaker: Good quality supermarket which can be really good value if you notice the offers. Large selection of food and drink available. On a negative note, although it's got a free for 20 minutes car park (remember to pick up a ticket from one of the outside machines), it's one of the worse designed ones I've come across; especially when the "Chelsea Tractors" are trying to park too. 😐
Chris Walden: Nice enough store but the front needs a good tidy up, and the floor by the freezers is a bit of a trip hazard

Waitrose & Partners Buxton: what do users think?
Gabriel NG: always loves they have lots of varieties
Sue Mellor: Clean tidy & well stocked store.
Alan Noake: Good store with wide selection of food, all good quality
Dave Carlisle: High quality food with some yellow ticket madness, always welcome!! And many "yellow ticket" bargains peppered throughout!! No shortage of high quality bargains to be had, every day!
Jamie Ward: Found inside the world's smallest shopping centre. If you park outside you'll have to pay, the car park isn't free. The supermarket itself is fairly small. They do have a nice alcohol section, and a bakery, but the Isles are fairly small and the supermarket itself feels cramped and pokey.A few tills running plus self serve which had a massive queue. Not bad, but I wouldn't rush back again.Considering its supposed to be a top end supermarket , it doesn't feel like it.
Jean Coverley: Not been there. Went in the Works nearby
Joanne Cox: Good selection of items in store
Christopher Blomeley: Eggs are in short supply
Jade Xoxo: This review is not just for this waitrose but for all waitrose’s. First time shopper here and i can say this is the most bland/ tasteless food ive ever tasted. We brought a few things from there including the mac & Cheese, i could not taste any cheese at all let alone £7 worth of it. Will never shop here again, even aldi is better tasting.
Kara Hartley-Higham: Clean shop. Well stocked and very good staff
Danny h Halligan: plenty of fresh food
Jill McKenzie: Proved to be very busy and few staff on shop floor during a busy period so queues were quite long, though they moved quite quickly. I was searching for Cat Soup but none in stock
Anne Froud: The shop was well set out and the sandwiches were very nice
Mike Betts: A great grocery store with excellent produce located in the Springs Shopping Centre, Buxton.
Jaga Panda: Expensive and posh shop for rich people but I love walk in sometimes and buy some random stuff and treat myself. Love almond croissants and variety of products! Staff very friendly.
Babz Hayward: Some of till staff look down on you n think they are better but most are helpful. Only use this supermarket if need something ,I can't get after tried other shops in town
Ange Jowett: Lovely throughout, quirky, friendly staff great locatio
Theresa Jackson: Lovely staff
John Robertson: Waitrose a very good well stocked supermarket. Can be a little expensive but high quality.Excellent range of both food and household goods. very good helpful staff .very popular Busy supermarket.part of John Lewis group.

Waitrose & Partners Sandbach: what do users think?
Chris Smith: Nice Waitrose which has most things but most importantly some really good staff.Even better following the refurb of the store, cafe is so much better and nicer now.Nice cafe and some amazing staff in the store!Sadly only 1 coffee machine.Just wish people would dump trolleys all over the walk way at the front because they are too lazy to take them back to the trolley park.
Stuart Jackson: Excellent shop with a good variety of food
Philip Moss: Excellent store ...they've really upped there game for Christmas..haven't tried the cafe yet but I will do...tried the cafe now coffee is nice I don't recommend the sausage bap nearly took it back it was so empty
Jean Smith: Met friend for coffee this morning in the cafe. Friendly staff, enjoyed our drinks in the cafe area at the rear of the store Usual meeting on Market Day..
Dyslexic_mrak: I am flabbergasted at the negative reviews here! Why do the peasants even bother to complain.Fantastic cheese and wine selection. Some very cheeky desserts too.The charcuterie selection nearly lost you a star. This stores cleanliness is exceptional.
Jane Smith: The bread selection is poor. In other branches there is far more selection. I wonder if some products are sourced locally? The staff although friendly do nothing to help when it comes to packing. Rather they throw items through as fast as possible then sit back and stare into space totally ignoring the customer they are serving and oblivious to the growing queue that wouldn’t have so long a wait if staff used a bit of gumption.
Sylvia L: Friendly staff, nice coffee and sooo good croissant with almonds yummy.
John Goodwin: Very good staff
tracy tams: Shopped today, bought some home made scotch eggs along with black pudding scotch eggs. So dissapointed. They were dry, flavourless. These cost approx £1.75 each. Not worth the money, will stick to making my own. Also how can you price a free range chicken for £20.00 . This was a reduced chicken. The only bargain we purchased was a breast of lamb for £4.60. Whereas is Sainsburys same size is £6.50. Waitrose. Nothing special. Vegetables ridiculously overpriced. Only positive experience was the exit
Tony Oakes: Very expensive compared to other stores it was not value for money.
Roger Pearce: Love it! Really friendly Partners, easy shopping, unlike the 'big stores' where you need a map and hiking boots to get round
Tania Simpson: Connor advised which steak to buy and spent ages trimming it to perfection and also kept my little girl v happy. Will be back!
Grey Ham: The worst WR in my area (Sandbach, Northwich, Wilmslow). Another Saturday afternoon and the fresh meat and fish counter are closed. The meat one was full of produce but covered in a translucent blanket. No one in the store "was trained to serve from them" . . . . "we experiencing continuing staff shortages due to illness". OK, but this has happened several times in the last 3 months. Why can't the management action some training for staff in other roles so they have cover for these "continuing" shortfalls? Also shelves of fresh fruit and veg are poorly stocked while staff are busily filling shelves of non perishable items. Booths at Knutsford is now my fallback option - they don't seem to have a problem.
Joshua: Ok..but best to go aldi
Mark Ellwood: Great place. Usually find what i want. Not so sure about the site makeover Never knowingly underpriced.
Martin Thornhill: Lack of staff on checkouts resulted in long queues which was disappointing
Stuart Thomson: Beautiful
Charl Palfreyman: clues in the name!!!! waited almost 1 hour for service
Gaynor Hart: Good service and clean
Billy J: Disappointing. disabled toilets , no toilet paper, no hand soap. Gents toilets were closed
Michael Cliffe: Quality foodstuffs
