The Eling Tide Mill Experience has stood at the centre of life in Eling for over 900 years. Millers have been harnessing the power of the tides in Eling Creek to grind wheat into flour. The Grade II* listed tide mill, surrounding riverside walks, and visitor centre form The Eling Tide Mill Experience.

A partnership of New Forest District Council and Totton and Eling Town Council have invested in the future of the Eling Tide Mill Experience. They secured a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund for essential conservation works, extending the visitor centre, and improving access to outdoor areas.

Visitors can see the power of the tide turning the water wheel and powering the millstones. They can explore the history in the interactive exhibition, stroll along Eling Creek shoreline, and relax in the brand new Mill café.

The Eling Tide Mill Experience is easily accessible by car, foot, or public transport. There is a free car park located on the opposite side of the toll bridge. Visitors can reach the car park by driving over the toll bridge or following the brown signs.
