Uttam C P: So kind and polite! People were always there to help me. I am new to the UK and did not know how Argos worked. But the representative explained to me how it did and assisted me in the entire process. So I wanted part of my stuff delivered and the other part to be collected at the store. Initially I made the mistake of adding all of them as store collection. But the representative made sure that he erased all of it and re-entered the list to be delivered and I ordered the items to be collected in store separately. Very kind staff!

M H Khan: Zero customer service, really Shocking. I’m quite regular here and do shopping a lot at ARGOS but I been served by a young girl about 14:30 ish today was rude as hell. The way she asked me questions, I felt like I’m in police station and done something serious. I just requested to email me a copy of the receipt of my previous purchase. She just kept asking questions without saying any please or eye contact. She could have done it differently.

Andy AnotherLife: Hi. I would like to share with you my recent experience. I ordered yesterday (13 May 2021) a Foot Spa of £45 which was a gift for a friend. I came home and said to try the product. We had to put water ( on the label it said "do not use without water"). We were disappointed to see that the FootSpa had no heating or massage program as specified but had only some vibrations and that was all. Today (14 May 2021) at less than 24 hours I was back to return the product wanting back only a voucher with which to take another product, not did I ask for the money back. The product was in the original box, packed without any damage and / or water but nevertheless I was told that it is not possible because it was used. Well I will ask: How can I test a FootSpa without putting water in it? I was disappointed by this experience. Thank you Argos!

Anu Rana: Bought men shaver from this store and also insured it for 3 years. When i had issue with this item not working properly and went to store to fix or replace it. I was told that i need to contact D&G insurance company. I asked the young man 2 times that are you sure. His answer was yes i m sure. I contacted D&G insurance company and they are saying me that i need to go back to store and they supposed to sort it out.Such a waste of time. Awful experience

I demonstrated what was broken to the staff and all was well.I opted for a refund and provided my receipt and original packaging. Receipt and packaging, perfectly enough for a return to go through - but not for this store! You have to prove to this store you're not an international criminal organisation.The store refused to give a refund, despite providing my RECEIPT AND PACKAGING because the card number on the receipt was different. What if my card had to be changed because it was lost or stolen? What if I paid by Apple Pay or Android Pay and the card number on the receipt shows different? That's why you have a Blimmin receipt!!!! I even had to go as far as showing my bank statement with the transaction on it and the day and time matching the receipt and they still didn't believe me!!!!After 45 minutes of arguing and being asked to 'leave the store' and refusing to because I knew I was right, I (yes, me, due to their incompetence) had to call customer services, who kindly explained to the store staff to finally end the stalemate and show I was in the right.Absolutely disgusting treatment of a customer. Avoid.
Patricia Baker: I visited Argos Sainsbury Portswood about 10am on Wednesday 7th April and was served by Sam who I have to say was absolutely brilliant. I was returning an item. One replacement was shown to be in stock but had not been put on the shelf it belonged. He bent over backwards to find the item and I returned home so happy. The other guy serving with a pony tail was also excellent. Great service by both.

Disabled and family free parking on the underground floor..large lifts gains access to the first floor that has disable toilet and a separated baby changing room. There are mobility scooters that can be obtained at the Sainsbury's customers service desk, as there is a long walking distance from the main lift to the Argos store at the rear of the supermarket building.Covid controlled entry by staff, hand gel available and free paper face masks obtainable at smart shop wall from Sainsbury's staff.Argos has covid control measures by means of markers on floor, with a one way in and one way out controlled queue system.If you have ordered items online and come to collect, remember to bring your Argos card that needs to be shown at the serving counters.Date 28.11.20.
Holly Pearce: Fab experience at Argos! I firstly want to express how important it is to get product replacement care especially if it’s something you use all the time. It’s under £16 for replacement cover for accidental damage and other cover over a period of 3 years. I rang the team at Argos in Portswood and reserved an item over the phone which was quick and easy and this was recommended when we went into store as they told us when the item was available to reserve. I went in the next day to collect the item I had reserved and got a new one using the replacement care. Les was fantastic, I couldn’t fault his customer support/service and he was more than happy to help and had a great sense of humour too. Thank you Les!

Fortunately, one of the team (Sarah) was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to help me get this item to my car, even after being told there was no ‘resource’ to help me by another member of staff. She was amazing! It’s a shame the other members weren’t!

Nutty Nanny Rita Cove: It's a lot quieter than it used to be.I don't really use it anymore. I preferred it when they had catalogues...it gave the children a chance to have a proper look and choose their own Christmas presents or just to help them to think about what they'd like.It's not the same, less packed I suppose.

I asked 3 times if the woman serving me had applied the discount, she kept asking different things but never answered me. She finally looked and she hadnt given me the discount. They couldn't refund me as I had taken out the argos card and of course the number that they needed wasnt on the receipt! They then gave me the wrong item! Total bslls up!! Chris Wain: Completely useless! Urgently required a printer, ordered for collection on a Monday. Supposed to advise when ready, heard nothing by Thursday. Phoned branch (via call centre) advised that it had been expected each day since Monday and that I should have been notified, and that they had no idea when it would come in and as a result they cancelled the order! Hopeless process and staff (failing) to operate it.

James Ingram: I bought an IT case a few months ago, described as Worlds Lightest Cabin case (£29) recently I took it on my 1st flight on Flybe from Southampton. Flybe staff told me that it was TOO BIG to be classes as Cabin Luggage and that it would have to go in the hold and I would have to pay an additional £40 each way. Why do Argos describe it as Cabin Luggage.?
