Jamie Ley: Fantastic 2 weeks at this stunning property. Was a perfect family break on the South Coast. Will be coming back again next year.
Jayne Ellis: A lovely house, a very enjoyable weeks break here, 2 fully equipped kitchens (the hobbs downstairs is hit and miss, but youll get used to it) beautifully decorated large rooms, with comfy double beds, en suite with showers and baths.. (most with a balcony,) 2 lounges, a gorgeous warm pool , ( with , and a meze floor for fun evenings. We came in winter, so not much sunshine, but underfloor heating was lush. The veiws out the back were stunning, the leaves had fallen,so an array of colour, assorted birds, monk jack deer, squirrels, and ducks on the lake. "Eat your heart out centre parcs !"
Andy W on Gower: We booked this wonderfully spacious, warm and welcoming home for a very special family gathering. It exceeded our expectations! The facilities, the ambience of the home, the layout and decor as well as the lovely grounds were all perfect. The area, easily accessible by train and good roads to Southampton and Portsmouth is an ideal base for exploring the South Coast. The local village of Netley is well equipped. The nearby Royal Victoria Park an excellent space for young and old alike! The Solent Way coastal path is within easy reach of the house.

Wallops Wood Cottages: what do users think?
Jane Taylor: I needed a break from life and my stay in a tin hut was the perfect solution! Wriggly Tin is set in the most beautiful space, peaceful and instantly calming. The Tin Chapel was really well equipped & super-comfy & the en-suite facilities were great. Cooking on the camp fire was brilliant. I truly didn't want to ever leave. Highly recommend if you need an off-grid break away from a busy world.
Lyn Bevan: Loved our stay in Old Winchester with the hot tub, a great way to unwind . The hut is small but well thought out . Toilets / shower facilities always clean. Would recommend a walk to Hambledon vineyard too.Walkability: Beautiful adjacent countryside to explore.
Anna Harriman: We are just back from a wonderful long weekend at Wallops Wood. We were 3 families sharing 2 houses. The accommodation was clean, well designed and extremely well equipped. The hot tubs, the indoor pool and the games room meant that the weekend was a huge hit with the children and all the wonderful additional touches such as the fresh cakes waiting for us on arrival made it equally popular with the adults. We can't wait to return!
Ruth Huband: The scenery was beautiful. It was lovely and quiet with all the facilities of a really good standard. Great quality within the cottage, we loved the pool and the playroom.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value …More
Carolyn Viney: As a multi-generational family of six, we have had another lovely stay in Teal cottage. As usual it was full of little touches that make everything easy from boxes of tissues in each room to plenty of cleaning products as well as a lovely food and drink parcel on arrival. We love coming here - the views are spectacular, lots of enjoyable walks to great pubs and being able to book your own family slot in the pool is a special treat. We highly recommend Wallopswood and think it is worth the cost.
Angharad Phippen: Such a beautiful location and hut. I loved the lack of electricity and the paraffin lights. The weather was a bit grim during our stay but the hut felt so cosy with the log burnerRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Romantic, Quiet …More
Margaret Sheppard: A great few days spent at Wallops Wood for a ‘big’ birthday celebration. Ages ranged from 6-80 and we all loved the pool, the games room, the hot tub and the surrounding countryside. The accommodation is excellent - thank you Wallops Wood team we will be back!
Trevor Lancaster: We stayed at wallops wood for my daughters hen do and had an amazing time the cottages are absolutely spotless , when arriving we were greeted with homemade cake , fresh bread , butter , beer , wine and apple juice. We had a surprise helicopter ride for our daughter which the owners gave us permission to land on there field , the cottages were equipped with everything you could want , would definitely go again and recommend them .
Coastal JJ: We had a wonderful time away with our family at Wallops Wood Scots Pine lodge. It was extremely well equipped, very spacious, spotlessly clean and quite luxurious. We can't recommend it highly enough.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Romantic, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value, High-tech …More
Maria Schultz: Loved the private use of the pool and sauna for an hour a day. Hot tub wasn’t hot enough to use on the first day as we arrived late but that was easily sorted by just turning up the temp for the morning. 🦉 owls were a treat to listen to at night. Absolutely lovely home from home that had a everything we needed, including the lovely cake left! Felt such a delight to be there. Just what we needed. Thanks you W Wood 😀
Carol Lawrence: Stayed at Scots pine, one of the houses on the Grenville site - lovely furnished property - plenty of space to move around - really impressed with the additional equipment provision which saved us bringing our own - extremely well set up for a variety of disabilities without looking clinical. location - peaceful, quiet and hot tub a lovely addition - would certainly recommend a visit for either relaxation or a base to visit lots of places
Tarryn Du Plessis: What an amazing getaway! We stayed at Hedge Hunter and it was more than we could have asked for! It was so clean and the small extras that were provided was so thoughtful and appreciated. The kids loved the games room and the indoor pool was divine! Not to mention the views – a dogs heaven for walks. Will definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway!
Andrew Cochrane: Just home from an incredible stay at Wallops Wood cottage. Everything and more you could wish for while on holiday. Super child and dog friendly. The homemade fresh on arrival lasagne was delicious. Our 2nd time visiting and we'll be back. A must for all!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Romantic, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value, High-tech …More
Diane Cripps: We have just returned from a few nights at Wallops Wood with elderly relatives - what can I say ! The quality of these cottages is exceptional , spotlessly clean with an attention to detail that allows for the less mobile to participate fully in the holiday.Excellent welcome pack - the victoria sponge was delicious .We loved the private use of the pool and the games room was great fun . The views from the hot tub even on rainy day were beautiful. Friendly accomodating staff were the icing on the cake .We very much hope to return. Thank you
Hannah Benwell: Excellent location, amazing accommodation everything has been thought about. Fully accessible for all with a hoist into the pool too. There is a games room and small honesty shop. Excellent walks from the doorstep and fab hot tubs. Looks new but been here since 2017.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Steven Rigby: One of the best places as a wheelchair user I have had the pleasure of staying at. In all my 40years of experiencing second rate service and attitudes that keep taking me back to the eighties when going out or staying anywhere was fraught with bad service and little to no idea of what I as a disabled person needed, Wallops Wood is a diamond, a genuine gem.Noteworthy details: It has everything you would need as a disabled person and the staff are as understanding and supportive as could be.
Liz Ramshaw: Lovely accommodation in a beautiful setting. Many thoughtful items included. Great for children and dogs. We will certainly be back!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Alison Anstey: Just returned from a lovely week in Teal with our 2 sons one who is a full time chair user with learning difficulties. The cottages are so well thought out, kitchen and fully equipped and even tea, sugar, cleaning products are included! Even washing powder for the washing machine. We loved looking at the peaceful surroundings from the patio and hot tub, especially in the evenings for sunset. Our son enjoyed the hot tub in the pool while my other son swam.Lovely peaceful setting and the staff were very helpful. My only gripe is and cant be helped by Wallops Wood that we were a family of 4. A large family group arrived for the weekend who were very noisy ( music playing loudly in the evenings etc etc) which in such peaceful surroundings carried. I can see the attraction for large family groups and when staying again I would probably check if any large groups were staying.

Mill Lane Farm Holiday Cottages: what do users think?
John Wynn: Fantastic location for exploring the surrounding areas. Very quiet, even saw some fallow deers in the field!! Cottage was bigger than we expected and spotless. Nicky knows the local area well and was very helpful in a couple of suggestions of where to see piglets etc. WiFi is not the greatest but 4g was OK. Nice to put the phones down and enjoy the view. Thank you.
Carla Street: Beautiful location. Cottage was perfect. My mother and i had an amazing 3 night stay here.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Quiet, Great value …More
Jonathan Fulwell: Despite showing availability on their website, on AirBnB, and receiving an automated email acknowledging the receipt of my booking and providing a booking reference it took 10 days, two emails, one Facebook message, one text message, and 18 phone calls to reach Nicky and be told that they were in fact fully booked for the dates we were looking for. Cannot comment on the rooms, but would not recommend on customer service.
M B: Loved the cottage . Stayed for a week and we had a fabulous time. The place is clean, tidy, and very well suited for a small family like ours (cot bed, high chair, plastic cutlery). Location is just perfect to visit the new forest with a lot of walks around as well as good pubs.
Helen M: Very clean cottages.Beautiful place to stay in the New Forest. The owner was so helpful. Our family had a lovely stay there.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Charles Bishop: Lovely clean and modern accommodation in the heart of the forest.
Martin Baker: Great place to stay in an idyllic location. Cottages are well equipped, clean and airy
P Woolgar: Stayed here during August and found it very peaceful with horses just outside the gates. Beautifully presented and well maintained. Highly recommended
Dave S: Excellent
Robert Kent: Love this place. Great location. Clean and tidy. Everything you need. Plenty walks and rides from the cottage. Loads of deer to be spotted in surrounding fields at dusk. Also loads of bats around.
Nicola Ecclestone: Our second stay at Mill Lane Farm Cottages & again everything was absolutely perfect. The owner Nicky is extremely friendly & helpful and the location is absolutely perfect for a break in the new forest. 5min drive to Lyndhurst, 20mins to Brockenhurst & easy access to the main A31 which will take you further afield. Cottages have everything you need & extremely clean which is reassuring in these uncertain times. The local pub the Trusty Servant is a 15min bike ride away & is fantastic!!
Steve Smith: Fantastic location, excellent accomodation, super clean!
Esther Smith: Beautiful setting, lovely area in the heart of the new forest surrounded by cows, horses and the farms own donkeys. The cottage itself was fab and gleaming when we arrived. Light too and well ventilated. We stayed in squirrel lodge. A few bits were missing but sorted quickly and we bought some of our own cleaning stuff to keep on top of things during the week. So handy to have a washing machine and small dishwasher and the kitchen was well kitted out. We've decided to come back to the new forest in the Autumn we loved it so much and found so much to do.The only thing preventing us coming back to Squirrel lodge is unfortunately the bed. Neither of us slept very well. It's creaky and feels tired and unstable. The edges of the mattress almost give way, every movement is felt (and heard) by the other person and I ended up sleeping in the twin next to my daughter. There's actually plenty of space in the room for a king size bed, which we would personally pay a premium for! So Nicky if you ever replace the bed let us know as we would love to come back :)A couple of less important points it's worth knowing; towels are small, looked like a hanky next to my tall husband. Bring your own bath sheets. And the bathroom mirror was clearly installed by someone tall as at 5ft3 I could only see my forehead! There's a really nice coffee machine not mentioned on the website, Nescafé gousto capsules I think, worth checking before you go. There is a nice courtyard area outside with an outside tap so we are glad we brought the paddling pool which was nice for late afternoon cooling down for our toddler. The Trusty Servant pub is also fab with ridiculously large portions!
Jamie Allen: A nice, peaceful accommodation set in beautiful countryside (Squirrel Lodge). The lodges are a decent size, with plenty of room for a small family. There are decent facilities, with a dishwasher and washing machine in the kitchen, as well as a cot and highchair for younger family members. The quality was overall good, however there were a couple of things that lowered the quality of our stay. Firstly, the towels provided were tiny. Trying to dry yourself after a shower with towels that are barely bigger than a hand towel is not a pleasant experience. It would be best to bring your own towels if staying here. Secondly, the master bed was quite uncomfortable and noisy. The slightest movement in the bed could be heard in adjacent rooms. I think the mattress and bed frame need replacing. The fields opposite the lodges were alive with wildlife in the evenings, with Fallow and Roe Deer, Foxes and Tawny Owls regularly seen and heard. The resident horses and donkeys on the farm were a delight for the children, who loved paying them a daily visit. We cannot comment too much on the owners, as, presumably due to Covid-19, we did not see them at all over our 7-night stay. A text message regarding the lack of internet was replied to quickly though.Overall, the stay was very nice. We wouldn’t hesitate going back to Mill Lane again in the future (although we’d probably bring our own towels).
Arthur Reynolds: This is an excellent place to go for a breakaway.
Ian Davis: Lovely rural barns in middle of the New Forest. So peaceful, highly recommended. Also a good best for all the other local attractions. We went with a child and still loved it, even though there are no real amenities to speak of.

Sunil Thakker: Great placeRooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 3/5 …More
angie hull: Accommodation is okay, shame on entry to individual apartments not overly clean. My partner has had two spells within these apartments over last few months, some cleaning was not cleaned away from the previous visit. Cooking equipment left dirty. I know owners are not necessarily the one's to complete the cleaning but are responsible. after someone has used the apartments checks should be made on the equipment and cleaniness of the individual rooms of the apartments.
Tak Mavu: Great location.Apartment very tidy and well kept, James was extremely helpful and responded to any queries during our stay efficiently. Would definitely recommend.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Justinbartha 73: Good location, and easy for M3, M27 and City Centre. Plenty of parking and good sized apartment. Enough room for 2 adults and 2 children. Corner bath and lovely balcony. Lobby area was handy to wait for the car on rainy days, and James the Property Manager was extremely helpful throughout - nice job! Will stay again.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Shelll Bee: Lovely apartment, great location conveniently situated near shops.Could do with a few more utensils and cooking dishes in the kitchen .No wooden spoons or fish slice to help when cooking.Purchased some from asda which we left behind.Dish washer but no tablets or liquid to put in it.Fridge needs a new seal as kept shut with velcro which didn't hold the door shut.
Layla Goddard: Could do with some condiments for cooking but otherwise well equipped kitchenRooms: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Timmy Phillips: Very worn and grubby.Owner Very unhelpful about concernsBest avoided.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Mutasem Aldhoon: Very nice and clean. Spacious apartment. Heating is excellent and customer service is fantastic
Sarath Nookaraaju: Excellent and contact-free accommodation!
Dan: Not bad, good place to rent if you need short term accommodation.
luke taylor: The apartment was clean and quiet .James was very helpful and we enjoyed our stay . Kids had a lovely time and it was near everything we needed .Would recommend and come againRooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
stephen winkworth: Good service and good prices
Yannis Vatis: The apartments were nice enough with most amenities one could expect. Parking available for free was a plus. But why the 2 stars you ask? This accomodation, while good on its own, loses 1 star for not delivering on an expectation that they would equip both of rooms with extra beds for our kids. They said they'd do this but we ended up with one room with only a double, leaving my partner, child and myself sleeping on the same small double. The other 2 stars are knocked off because the person on the line tried to make this sound like our fault. Claimed that we should have seen from the photos that it wasn't possible to fit another bed. If it wasn't possible, then the promise should not have been made to begin with.
Nasir Hossain: Wonderful experience. Right from start till the end. We recommend booking them through their website as they give discounts for long stays. The contact is through message or call them directly. The flat has everything from cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, utensils in kitchen, sofa and a table for having food, TV, Wifi, and a good size comfortable bed. A good size bathroom.Peppa pig world is very near to the apartment. M3, M27 and other major roads are nearby. It is near Southampton university. Nearby there are good amount of takeaways in case you don't prepare food. There are good size of car parking at front and the back. Outside there is also a parking on road and can be parked on at night too.
Kevin Gonsalves: Wonderful apartment to stay..Nice and clean very spacious.. well equipped with all the essential items specially when u are with a Baby. Highly recommended if you are visiting Peppa pig's world..

Bluebell Copse Cottages: what do users think?
Becky Pennison-Bates: The ideal holiday cottage for New Forest adventures - very spacious, beautifully renovated and perfectly serene, with countless thoughtful touches for children, including an amazing games barn, and hot tub beneath the stars for parents, post-bedtime
Katie Taylor: Such an amazing place!! Louise had thought of everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay, particularly with a toddler!! We didn’t have to take anything. The house was spotless and there were so many personal touches. We also booked treatments in the hideaway which were amazing, and I would thoroughly recommend. There is so much to do locally for both adults and children. We had a fantastic stay and we will definitely be back!
Hello Magic: We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Bluebell Copse Cottages. Such a warm welcome from Louise and great communication throughout! The cottage had everything you needed, was super cosy and even though we had a rainy few days we still enjoyed the hot tub! It's such a quiet relaxing space and we also enjoyed treatments in the Hideaway which I would highly recommend booking if you stay here! The games room had just opened, we were warned it would be cold but with cosy jumper on we really didn't think anything of it and had lots of fun playing darts, table tennis and board games, such a lovely addition. I would highly recommend booking in here and look forward to booking again in the future!
creativekidsplay kidsplay: Just come back from a magical weekend at Bluebell Copse, the hosts went out of their way to help us in making the weekend perfect. Accommodation was spotless and so beautifully renovated. A great place to escape too. We will definitely be returning.
