Calshot Beach: what do users think?
kris16002: Ok
Anthony Abbott: Awesome place to go on a sunny or rainy day. Paddle boards, canoes, kayaks and jetskis everywhere. I suggest you get their early or before the tide is in.
James Wilkinson: Pleasant stoney beach with cute cabins and ample parking
Annagram Neal: Lovely restful place. Lots to watch and do .Water sports especially. Great for families
Marcus Hull: Great place!
Sharon Riaz: This is one of my favourite beaches. I love this place because it’s not always packed. You know how it is when the temperature reaches 15 degrees in England and everyone with skin heads to the beach. We easily found a parking spot and a place on the beach. There were little patches of sand but mainly rock and shells. There was also something soft, brown and smelly too, so keep your eyes out. When you visit Calshot you can see some fantastic container ships and towering cruise liners. This is great for the little ones but I enjoy it too. They snake their way on a specific route which must be the deepest section towards the Isle Of Wight which you can see across the water. You can also see Portsmouth to the left. It’s a nice walk to along the coast and there is usually an ice cream van parked in the car park. Good idea to stock up on food and drinks when you pass the co-op on your way to the beach.
G: What a nice place to come and either sit and watch the world go by, or (Submarine leaving Southampton) or walk the beach and to the castle. Nice part of the world to be in. Parking can be a little rich as with many places. Some great views out to sea.
Helen Smith: Beach was amazing
Nilesh Paghdal: Nice view this beach with water
Hollybush Camping: Clear water. Easy access. The ice-cream van is a plus. The proximity to the power station is a negative for me. Quite magical to view the big ships looming out of the mist and within touching distance! Uninterrupted panorama.
VIPCLADDING: Nice place for rest
Kretty: Nothing special about this beach.
Joy Bhadra: Best beach I have ever seen ☺️☺️
ruthie smith: Great place, stunning views, nice field for giving the dog a run. Have also spotted seals.Good facilities but gave heard that they might not be there for much longer.
Jeff Pike: Great for views of IOW and Spinnaker Tower as you watch Watercraft come and go, activity centre and stoney beach, great for dog walking.
Yashaswee Singh: Simple calm beach with colourful huts and lots of water activities available with refreshments. But very far from city so own transportation is best because buses comes only every hour.
Nike Anderson: Lovely walk across the beach and across the marshes. Fresh sea air and an ice cream truck for refreshments.
Victoria Hill: Breathtaking Beach views. We enjoyed an early morning stroll across the pebbled beach, not a sight of litter.
The Legend # The Bomb: Great place to watch thunderstorms x
Samiha Shimla: Calshot beach a beautiful beach with pebbles. The beach is serene and you can view Isle of Wight at a distance. You can also sight sailing boats in the distance and ships passing by. There is large parking space, one right next to the beach. And the water is literally a stone's throw away from the parking. Our only downsides were that the toilets weren't very great, and the parking payment machine wasn't working so we couldn't risk venturing far from our car.

Weston Hard Woolston: what do users think?
Альона Векерик: Excellent place in my opinion 😊
Edward Voice: Great view of the port. Lovely, quiet, place
Coco Coco: Nice views😍
Kola Construction: Great stuff
Helen Wishart- Kotthoff: This shingle beach is great for just sitting watch all the ships going in and out of Southampton docks. Bit like a trainspotters Paradies for ships, take your binoculars. The queen mary sailed through when I lived there.I grew up round the corner in upper weston lane and dad sailed racing dinghies (505's) at the sailing club just a bit further up the beach. Just sitting, being at the sea, listening to the shingle in the waves, perfect. If your looking for Mediterranean beach, this is not for you. I adore it myself. The pavilions were there even in the late 60s. A delight.
Виталий Кашин: Отличный пляж
S Howell: Wouldn't go in water with all the fuel in it
Courtney Johnson: Awful beach. Don’t go there.

Too Cald: i forgor ☠️
Dom: Nice pebble beach to walk a long.Free parking, nice pit stop place for a picnic.
Div Prakash Singh: The beach is a rocky beach, although its a very quiet beach and less crowded its not suited for tourists, you can enjoy a lovely walk through the beach 🏖️ but there are no cafes or restaurants near by , not even a convenience store. Its better to bring some picnic with you.
bonishe babu: Southampton mayor must look after but didn't. FOR YEARS A GO you can swim and now its no safe because its disgusting and damp.
Vignesh Dhandapani: Good place for walking. Free parking is advantage.
Jasmine Fourniss: Great place to walk along the beach, and free parking!!

Hill Head Beach: what do users think?
PETER WILSON: Lovely views over the Eastern Solent and Isle of White.
Swan: Lovely walking dog on the shoreline, best when the tide is up when it is stoney underfoot. View across to Fawley and the Isle of Wight.
darrell V: Sunny day, tide was out, lovely place for a walk along the shore
Pierre Needham: Visited with the dog after going to the submarine museum - nice stretch and good views over the bird sanctuary.
Lorraine Quinn: Stunning beach very underused great views ideal for dog walks
Nishanth Sudarshan: Amazing place to walk and experience sunsets.
Carmen _x04: Poo water. But fun. I recommend bringing an inflatable, and going in the sea at the time the current is the strongest! Free trip to the Isle of Wight !!😀😀😀😀
PSOC69: We love this beach. Pity some people don't treat it the same way, we do, leaving their litter behind, and not clearing up after their dogs properly. Luckily they are in the minority. 🤓
Simona Stoina: No shops or places to eat, the beach is moody and definitely not worth the drive unless you are a surfer.
Karen Wilkinson: Great place for a walk, ice cream and watch the waves.
Julie Emery: Relaxing beach walk on the path if dont like stones
Mark Yates: Lovely walk along the cliff at hill head, stunning scenery and a really nice walk, nice to see the open bits have been fenced off for safety,
Alex Dingwall: Love it...
Alan Williams: Interesting plus wonderful nature reserve
Gavin Kirkpatrick: It is lovely but not a swimmers beach.
Tarun Bharadwaj Natam: Lovely place to watch the sunset.
David Woodley: Pleasant location, bit surprised to find that parking is so free at such an isolated spot. It was extremely windy and wet when I visited, so didn't stay long.
Dan Dan: Great place to walk
Alwin Pattathil: Best place to relax in evening..!!
Ter Abite: Lovely place to walk. Can walk on the pebbles or up above. Nothing else around but a great place to walk.

Lee on the Solent beach: what do users think?
Karol Liszka YT: Nice beach
Julie Bond: Great beach for families, fabulous ♿️ access!
mike gower: Great location and great weather. Could do with a deck chair hire stand.
Carrie Wright: Beautiful place to go for a walk whither the nice weather coming, we had chips on the beach it was a lovely day with nice views
Louise Lawson: Amazing sunset I Lee on the solent
TY Fung: Lovely seaside for taking a walk
Christine Perry: Beautiful beach, clean well looked after lovely local eating places
Steven Parsons: Lovely Beach area! Roads can be busy getting there, but there is a good amount of parking at not bad rates either.Pay by mobile, cash or card, sometimes not working as well as they should.Beach is generally quiet, lots of places to grab some food cafés, chip shops, etc.Brilliant amusements there have been going for years! Few pool tables, 2p machines and fruities etc, aslo they have a little cafe there too! There are lots of places for ice cream.Splash Park here is normally closed, but this can get busy when it's open and on this is situated next to a little park. There's not much for toddlers, but there's a swing.Overall, it was a nice place to spend a few hours, a bag of chips on the beach followed by a game of pool and an ice cream.Just a shame how people leave the beach by leaving their rubbish on the floor, even though there are plenty of bins! Please, if you visit, clear up after yourselves so others can also enjoy the beach.
John Bikerider: Nice place to go for a Sunday afternoon stroll. Not many shops there but plenty of cafés
Sam Swindells: I love this beach as it's usually so quiet. There's lots to do with a couple of play parks, skate section and arcade. There are lots of shops along the street too. You can also walk through Brownlee training camp as well.
krithika Raman: yummy i love ice cream i am from hawaii
Sarah Richardson: Everything you need for a quick bumble to the coast; shingle and stone beach but beautiful views of the IOW across the sea. Cafes, ice creams, fish and chips along with so much more. Small arcade next to a park and plenty of parking.
peter silvester: Not much to do down Lee
Mike Anson: Nice walks
Nayeon Yum: 𝕊𝕦𝕡𝕖𝕣 𝔹𝕖𝕒𝕔𝕙𝕥𝕦𝕟𝕘, 𝕖𝕓𝕖𝕟 𝕚𝕟 𝕨𝕚𝕟𝕥𝕖𝕣
Carla Shailes: Fantastic, peaceful, dog friendly, easy parking
Tim Husain: Beautiful beach, not the best for swimming as has pebbles, but great for a walk.
James Stanton: I'd imagine in the summer it's a lot more lively. It's your atypical British seaside town. Parking is reasonable and plenty of it. Bit annoying the machines were out of order however just used the app. However,it was sunny and the views were amazing.
David Lewis: Lovely place.
Elodie Q.: Very nice but you need water shoes as its not a Sand beach and not pleasant to walk to the water or lie down to sun bathe.
