Alex: Absolutely cannot recommend Ryan highly enough. 🤩When we started looking for a wedding photographer we only knew what we didn't want- flat, boring photos 😴 It wasn't until we saw Ryan's work, though, that we knew exactly what we did want. His photography is the antithesis of dull!Neither of us are keen on being at that end of the camera but, from the moment we met on our engagement shoot, Ryan made us feel relaxed and at ease. We were both surprised by how comfortable we felt, and how enjoyable we found the experience.I won't lie, before meeting Ryan I was slightly apprehensive about being photographed whilst getting ready on the morning of the big day. Lauryn Fairclough: We booked Ryan for our little wedding in July, I had fallen in love with his work and a second into our Skype call- him too. Shutter go click was the perfect company for us, I feel like Ryan specialises in anything other normal and that suited us down to the ground. From the minute we met outside the town hall he was doing his thing catching lovely Candids and cracking jokes with the rest of us, he may have been there to photograph but he felt just as much a part of the wedding party as our own best friends. Both me and Conor are incredibly awkward in front of the camera but it came so easy and was so fun with Ryan behind it. He was nothing short of fantastic from the get go, and whilst being very communicative was also super accommodating of us needing to reschedule our date (twice!). He made everyone feel comfortable and seemingly managed to be in four places at once to get every single shot we could have hoped for on the day…the guy is a wizard! He’s an absolute hit with the aunties and I’m sure if we would have booked him for the evening do they’d have had him up on the dance floor! Espen Tran-Thorsen: Based of his previous work we contacted Ryan in 2018 to document our wedding that was supposed to take place in the summer of 2019.As we all know there was a pandemic outbreak that led us to postpone our wedding until 2022.Through all the frustrating and dissapointing postponements there was ONE thing we were sure of, we wanted Ryan to do the photos! Ryan kept us in the loop during the pandemic and made sure to prioitize our wedding date in his calendar.When we finally met Ryan in person in June 2022 he was just as lovely and talented, as we were hoping. Courtney Brown: What can we say about Ryan… what a fantastic talented guy. He Photograped our wedding in April and he was amazing. We did not want the traditional wedding photos and we was recommended Ryan from friends and when we saw his photos we had to book him. We love the unique style that he has and the techniques he uses to make photos perfect. Everyone has commented saying how amazing our photos are and so unique. We also don’t really like photos and he put us at ease, had us laughing and actually enjoying photos and going out on the little photo trips with him throughout the day. Professional when the situation called for it and light hearted when people were feeling nervous or shy. alice dyson: Where to start with Ryan! He is a creative genius! Not only is he unbelievably talented when it comes to photography, lighting and anything creative… he’s also the most loveliest guy! Bob Ingram: I have always loved looking at Ryan’s photographs. When I started wedding planning he was actually one of the first photographers I found and followed him instantly. I ended up booking him for one of his family photoshoot offers and immediately regretted not booking him for my wedding. The family photoshoot was so much fun, the photos were bloody brilliant and Ryan was just the loveliest, friendliest person ever. Hollymae McDermott: We had Alexandra and Calum for our wedding in September for the full 9 hour day package. We met Alexandra earlier in the year for a pre-wedding shoot and to try get ourselves used to the camera as we can both be a bit camera shy! Straight away Alexandra made us feel at ease and so comfortable, it was like we were on a walk with one of our friends.This continued on the wedding day when both Alexandra and Calum fitted into our separate wedding mornings so easily, so relaxed but also still capturing all the photos we wanted without realising we wanted them. The highlight film perfectly edited to include the most special moments we were desperate to relive and the album filled to the brim with beautiful photos that captured all of our day in detail with pictures that look effortless.The package provided was perfection and enabled us to revisit the most special day I'm photo and film - laughing as we rewatch the speeches and crying as we rewatch the ceremony.To top it off we got a gorgeous keepsake box, some prints and USB to keep.Ourselves and guests were BLOWN AWAY from start to end - we could not recommend them as a team more, they work brilliantly together and their fun and thoughtful energy is a welcome addition to the day! They personalised our day to everything we had asked for and we could not have been happier!!

Jade Hooper: From the moment we met Calum and Alexandra (via Zoom) we absolutely knew we had to book with them! Friendly, professional, cheese loving... what a pair! They kept in regular contact from the moment we booked until well after the wedding, advised us on timings and locations for our pre-wedding shoot and various shots on the wedding day itself, always updating us on where they were at with our photos and when to expect them. The end result was incredible, our highlight film made me absolutely sob, and the photos are exactly what we needed to remember the day for what it was, all natural and fun! We aren't big fans of having our photos taken but Alexandra and Calum made us feel totally at ease and in fact on the day they blended in with our guests so well that we've had comments that some of our guests didn't even realise we had photographers there! April McCoig: Lukas and Laura were the videographers for our October 2021 wedding. We initially hadn't planned to have a videographer, but with rising Covid numbers and a worry that some of our guests may find themselves unable to attend, we decided to do so. It was a fairly last minute decision - but it was hands down one of the best decisions that we made as part of our wedding!Lukas and Laura were absolutely brilliant, they were so calm, friendly and it was clear very experienced in what they do. We received our video around 2 months after our wedding and we were absolutely blown away - it brought us both to tears with such fond memories of our special day. Their use of a drone was an extra special touch, especially with all the beautiful autumn colours. After a few emails and having a good old nosey at her webpage, we decided to go for a meeting to meet the face behind the camera to talk about our wedding. After our first consultation in her lovely studio space, we knew that Ellie was the one.We chose the price competitive 10 hour package so that most of our day was covered, and Ellie was so informative and helpful with this. She gave us so much advice on our wedding timings and where we might need to be on the day (we didn’t have a clue), along with advice and the option of an extra hour if we needed it on the day. She gave us a very flexible itinerary with a contingency rain plan too.After the first meeting, we stayed in touch via email, and she was very helpful and patient with all of my questions, some probably pointless now I look back. We met closer to the time to go over our plans and for a little reassurance, and the day was soon upon us!She arrived at the house in the morning, and was straight to it as soon as she arrived. It honestly felt like Ellie was part of the gang straight away, which is just what we had wanted. We had a very relaxed approach to our day, and Ellie made it so that we felt relaxed through the whole process, gently nudging us in the right direction and keeping us to our time frames. Half the time we didn’t even know she was there, the other half she was mingling with the guests and getting some great photos.A few weeks after our amazing day, we received a beautiful little package in the post, which was our wedding photos. I don’t know when she managed to get all these photos but looking back and reminiscing at all the guests, sunshine, flowers and ourselves, it took us straight back to the day.I would 1000% recommend Ellie as part of anyone’s wedding/occasion/photoshoot.
