The Old Workshop: what do users think?

Gareth Harrington: Great atmosphere, excellent service, great range of drinks and lovely food. Definitely recommend this place. I had the chicken burger which was lovely!

Lyn Lockwood: Fantastic food, drinks and great staff. Cool Kelham Island vegan bar and restaurant.

Simon Hudson: Buzzing when we were there.Good craft ales and vegan food easily the equal of any meat meals you might have at a bar. Yummy

E T: Most unique bar in Sheffield! Amazing atmosphere and great interior. Food and drinks are really good !

Oliver I: This place is amazing! Such a wonderful atmosphere in rustic surroundings. The charcuterie bar is great, with delicious tasting food and a friendly laid back chef :)
Emmanuel Njoku: A very friendly atmosphere
Dane Sawyer: Make no bones is great
Jonathan MacRitchie: Mike is the BEST kitchen staff I have had ever had the pleasure of meeting!
Jody Garbutt: Loved this place. Great atmosphere and the food looked delicious even though we didn't eat there
Mirk Robinson: Lovely chilled atmosphere in a stripped back former industrial building. Worth visiting. M
Ian Kellar: Awesome vegan food, amazing beer. Lovely setting and service.
Susan Athanasiadi: Nice atmosphere
Douwi Stewart: Always a nice visit. Food was okay and service was pretty good.
Annie Clark: Love it here. Great little gem in Kelham
Jessica Wilson (sheaf_foodies): Lovley cosy but rustic bar tucked away down a side street in kelham /neepsend. Worth a visit
David Lee: Where all the cool kids go. Overproof rum is very good.
Martin Kershaw: Probably my favourite bar in Kelham. Been in a lot lately, always friendly and a very good vibe. Good selection of beers and although I've not been in to eat, the food at Make No Bones always looks lovely. Had good recommendations for it from friends who have eaten there.
Craig Winter: Nice friendly atmosphere
Ellie: First time coming to the old workshop last night and although the food was great, the bar staff were very rude on a few occasions. There’s a right way to speak to people and your staff last night could use some training. Quite frankly it ruined our evening. I hope the kitchen “make no bones” moves so we can visit them again.
Maria Man: Nice drinks, interesting decor. Plant based food was great (speaking as someone who expected meat on the table!) and music was subtle. Security guy did an awesome job as well (never thought a bar needed security intervention at 9pm!)
Fae Dugmore: Amazing Sunday lunch
ricky lane: Great for a few drinks with friends
Nat pops: Food was amazing. Knowledgeable bar staff. Toilets were clean
Lauren Hubbard: Lovely place on a Saturday night. Obviously the same sorta menu as church, food was good, good selection of beers. Not the place to go for a quiet drink and gets full quickly

The Old House: what do users think?

Thomas Rawcliffe: Beautiful place with incredible service and delicious food. The servers where brilliantly helpful and friendly, the chef was very understanding and accommodating

Chris Wells: Friendly city centre bar, nice interior and very good pint.

Julia Holt: Really enjoyed visiting this pub with my dogs, everyone was really friendly and there is a good choice of beer and cocktails.Food is available and a large choice of Vegan stuff.

Dan Schofield: Absolutely beautiful vegan food. We had the bhaji sandwich and the tandoori kebab 👌🏼

Michael Bossetta: Came here to try the Pie and Peas - it was good! There’s a daily selection of pies to choose from, and plenty of beers and cocktails to choose from as well. The pie I had was beef and blue cheese - good stuff! The pie did take quite a while to come out. Overall I was there for over an hour, which is quite a long time for what I thought would be a quick bite!

Nathan R: A good selection of cask and keg beers (keenly priced, especially during happy hour), a sensitively refurbished heritage interior, and a menu of pub classics makes for a decent destination pub just outside the centre of Sheffield
Steve Bowmer: Good selection of beersl
P Kadiyska: Amazing experience! Definitely recommend! Staff were delightful and very helpful!
Fred Guilbert: Poor food quality and rude staff that looked liked thay didn't want to be there only on their mobile phones and not caring about the customers
Dan Owen: Good atmosphere
Van Zandt: Disappointing since my last visit
Adrian Jones: What an atmosphere ...music fantastic
Dale Atkins: We love it in here. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Great choice of drinks and just a lovely cosy environment. Really homely in the winter months. AND IT'S DOG FRIENDLY !!
Ben Harper: It's an alright pub, drinks are heavy on pricing and you'll struggle to find a seat, never had food but looks and smells great!
Nick Clark: Best range of drinks and cocktails in the area.
Philippa Steventon: Great place. Lovely atmosphere and you can even borrow board games. Highly recommended
Daniel Joseph Bryan: Visited for the first time in 7 years this week. Ale was spot on as was the scotch egg starter haha!
Lucas-jay Woodbridge: Good cocktails and fun games behind the bar! A staff member seemed to get a bit iffy when a cocktail was requested to have less ice in it but overall very nice
Sharon Glave: Friendly pub, good selection of drinks.
Mary Shephard: Went for the Sunday roast, which was so disappointing. Carrots and parsnips were hairy, the Yorkshire was hard, the roasties were soggy, Instant mash potatoes and my friend had 3 bites of cold chicken. Also, No stuffing and they put the gravy on for you. Absolutely not worth the money, Wouldn’t recommend. The staff however were very welcoming and we got our food very quickly. We also didn’t have any drinks, just soft drinks.
Antony Leach: Always has been a brilliant bar which sadly doesn't seem as busy as it used to be a few years ago
iain mulley: Great food friendly staff .Good vegan options and dog friendly. Many thanks
steve bedell: Place ok beer awful
Christine Brightmore: We met friends for a drink before going to BBs for a meal.
Lorraine Booth: Loved this place great beer selection, comfy surroundings friendly staff what more can you ask for
sharon holmes: Excellent pub Excellent food friendly staff definitely recommend

Old Queen's Head: what do users think?

Delazinsky: This 15th-century timber framed pub is the oldest surviving domestic building in Sheffield. The menu, decor, and even some of the regulars could be mistaken for relics from that century, yet it has a certain charm and undeniable character. Always seems to have a decent selection of beers and the food though basic is good value and relatively tasty. Quiet during the day but can get quite lively in the evening.

MADDOGLEP: This historic city centre timbered pub somehow survived all the development around. It is a Thwaites pub so surprised to find guest ales. I had my first ever Nailmaker brewery beer. A plum porter in excellent form. Sat outside in a seated area by the road.

Alice Boot: Staff are lovely and friendly, food is nice enough for pub grub - cheese cakes are gorgeous mind.Always welcoming though and makes an awesome recovery point after a long journey

Sid: Decent beer selection, gorgeous building, decent location. Includes the history of the building written up inside and has lots of amazing carvings done into the wood and timber frames.

Andrew Rycroft: Only been in twice so far, but from my visit, seemed to have a good atmosphere. Thee beers they had on cask were nice too, and well poured.

Patrik Padysak: I am pleased to know about this pub. Very interesting building. From half old from half new. Nice food and beer. Excellent waiters.

Jin Kisaragi: Traditional looking pub with a very nice atmosphere. Plenty of room for large or small groups. There is also a room upstairs available to rent for those looking for a bit more privacy. The menu has a lot of options with the fish and chips being a recommend from me.

Paul Kingston: Lovely old pub, visited for first time since the covid pandemic, plenty of beers available, great food.
Keith Monks: Good local
Alice Boot: Quiet and cosy, having changed hands a number of times the atmosphere seems to be losing its cosiness, and the food quality has dropped significantly over the past few months as a number of people have come and gone. I suspect lower quality ingredients and a number of items being reheated or prepackaged - its a long drop from when I was first a regukar here with fresh pizzas, honeycake, and good belly filling food. With it being up to let again, I'm not confident this rating is going to stay if the pattern continues.
Becky B: Food is good, but please clean the place. Toilets look like they haven't been touched in months.
Martyn Worsdale: Great food
Vicky Precious: Staff didn't appear to have a record of our booking. Service was okay, food not bad but nothing spectacular either. Not sure we will bother again
Alastair Springate: Love old pub
Steven Roffe: Nice pub... worth visiting on a sunday morning
Emma Weatherstone: Love how traditional this pub is very homely just abit pricey but like it none the less
Max M: Went for a lunchtime meal, it was really excellent. Beautiful pub and the food was delicious (a really nice chicken burger & chips which were hot) for about £6.50! We did not have to wait long. Thank you.
nicole pickford: A real shame it used to be a great place to have drinks. Now it's dirty with mice running about and the staff look at them as if there pets.
Justin Boydell: Lovely old pub with plenty of lovely cask ales and good value food
Karl Brown: Best food in Sheffield
Ann Lygo: Great atmosphere
Andrew Parkin: Nice old pub with good beers and nice coffees
Cath Marsland: Friendly bar staff, perfect stop off before catching my coach home
Brad Hancock: A great atmosphere in an old English pub. The service is great and the drinks are reasonably price. I haven't tried the food, however, the prices are really good.
David Taylor: Lovely little pub friendly staff well worth going to
Paul Bedford: Proper pub. Great beers and great value food.
Roy Bentley: Pleasant place for a few quiet beers.
Michael May: Nice ales, friendly staff, only wanted a sandwich and couldn't have helped more, absolutely fantastic from them, would highly recommend..

The Fox House: what do users think?

Paul Wilkinson: Can’t find enough great things to say about this place. We stayed 2 nights in June ‘22 and our stay was faultless. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a good shower and large tv. Beds were firm but comfortable The food was fantastic. Gigantic full English breakfast and outstanding evening meals. Rebecca, the host, was wonderful, greeted everyone like long lost friends. Her energy extended to the young staff, who were helpful and polite. And the entire place was spotless. It takes a lot of effort and skill to put it all together and the team is to be congratulated. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Verity Wolstencroft: I was heading back after a run in the peaks and couldn’t face cooking so chose the nearest place which happened to be The Fox House to eat. We had a warm welcome, the food, service and friendly team was impeccable and we’ll definitely go again. Great staff, fantastic food.

Sharon Glave: Love this semi rural pub. Always feel welcome by attentive knowledgeable staff. Choice of all the drinks you could want. Outstanding food, never had a bad meal or dining experience.

Ann: Rainbow trout was gorgeous, the white wine sauce with it was delicious too, just wished there was a bit more mash though The beef rib was a good portion size and the beef was nice and soft. Their lunch menu is also available until 5pm which is good for a lighter meal, but even their sandwiches in their lunch menu had a good portion size.

Garry Sprackling: Beautiful location, which iam lucky enough to only live 35 mins away. The food was very nice, and tasty, with nice Size portions... If your ever in this area, I do recommend this very popular pub..

Inge Shepherd: Really lovely country pub but only 20 mins drive from central Sheffield. Food was delicious, staff friendly and helpful. Nice that they have a separate bar area if you just want a drink. Beautiful location (a winter wonderland this weekend) and they very kindly let us park our van in the car park overnight. We hope to return in the summer to properly enjoy the views

Louise Blackburn: Came here for my birthday Meal. Staff and food spot on cannot fault it. Great staff especially the lovely John who looked after us throughout. Definitely will be back VERY soon. Thank you so much for making our night a memorable one. Matthew & Louise Blackburn
Derek: A nice meal at a good location in the Peak District. The waitress was friendly. There was a good menu of mainly British foods chicken, duck, lamb shanks, fish and chips etc. Good range of starters and desserts as well. Full bar. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Large car park and free wi-fi. Seating indoor and outdoor.
Ashley English: My husband and I stayed at nine different hotels during a recent trip to the UK, and The Fox House absolutely stood out as one of our favorites. It was one of the first few we stayed at and every hotel after it was compared to it, hoping it would be just as charming. We stayed here while exploring the Peak District and fell in love with the pub and restaurant area. The staff was so kind and wonderful and the food and drinks were delicious. The room was cozy and comfortable and it was one of the first nights I was almost able to sleep through (took a while to get rid of jet lag). I hope one day we'll be able to come back here. I was sad we only got to spend one night here on our trip. We'll forever be comparing hotels to this one! I will also be forever trying to mimic their cozy style in my own home.
Will A: Fantastic pub, visited yesterday for the first time in a few years and still great.
Abby-leigh S: Great pub / restaurant to visit after a long hike!Next to a bus stop, so easy to travel to.Visited on the weekend so it was busy, to be expected, but as it was raining heavily outside we at least expected to be able to find seating inside, which wasn't the case at all. Customers for the bar aren't allowed to sit in the restaurant area if there are no seats available (even if the table isn't reserved)
Geoffrey Wells: Good food. Terrific spot after hiking walking, cheerful and helpful staff
Gemma Hobson: Came for the Sunday roast carvery. Had read some reviews of small portions but these couldn’t have been more wrong. Huge huge meal, really nicely cooked meats (up to 3 choices and you can have 2 different meats), a lot of variety in the vegetables along with classic condiments. If you still have room after all that (we did, just) then there’s a range of tasty desserts on offer. We went for the trifle - a classic. Thanks to Richard and all the staff who were all excellent.
Ciaran Fitzgerald: All alright, nothing especially great unfortunately. Great location, plenty of parking.
Gareth Rees: Friendly staff, pleasant clean room, draught beer and a good dinner and breakfast.
Richard Sarson: The places look nice and food was reasonable if not a tad expensive for what you got. Service was unfortunately slow having to remind waitress of our drinks order.
Christine Jagger: It was nice
Alan Blackham: Excellent meal and friendly staff
Mark Tesh: Lovely choice of food and drink, well needed after a long walk around the Peak District
Mrs Moony: The food was very nice. We had Pie of the day (chicken, pancetta and brie) and Foristerre Chicken. The pie came with a tiny pot of gravy so maybe need to ask for more. The Foristerre Chicken would have been nice with extra vegetables, but both were very nice. We will eat here again.
Profitengineers Cloud: Lovely pub with efficient, friendly and courteous staff. Well worth a try if you're in the area.
Daniel Sinclair: Lovely pub. Can get busy at times especially when the weathers good. Friendly staff and always a welcome sight after a lovely walk round Burbage Edge.
Danny: The food is delicious. The staff are very polite. Great experience!
Autumn Leaf: Beautiful. Very kind, friendly, efficient staff. We were never rushed. Great food choices. Beautifully served.Very clean toilets. Lots of parking. Will definitely return.Thankyou everyone employed there.
Kevin Page: Lovely pub and a great way to end our bike ride👍
Alan Piper: Lovely old historic Inn serving a good range of food and drinks. Situated near the Longshaw estate and the Burbage valley both are good for walking. Recently refurbished inside and bar area, lovely outdoor seating area. Father's day menu available.
Javier Peñasco Morales: Un sitio muy acogedor y agradable y la comida exquisita…
graham greaves: Lovely atmosphere, tasty food.Didn't stay in hotel .Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Carmel Martin: Had a really nice chicken burger. Beer is a little expensive.
Ian France: Nice food. We both had a sandwich: chopped cheese, a kind off Philly cheesesteak affair and a pulled brisket. Both on decent bread. The hand pulled Grindstone pale was in absolutely Tip-top condition.

Lost & Found Sheffield: what do users think?
Maxine Shaw: The food was lovely, lots of choice on the menu. Charlie was excellent, she moved us to a table outside as it was such a lovely day. She also kept checking in with us to see if we needed anything. The service we received means that we will definitely be returning g to the list and found very soon.
Faye Noyland: The food was lovely. The staff were efficient and organised. An altogether lovely experience.
Anna: Food was ok but service was terrible. First waitress was lovely but left us waiting to pay the bill for over 30 mins. When we got up to find someone a new waitress appeared who was shocking... Her attitude was unbelievable. She never apologised for the wait, she never asked how everything was, she was blunt and rude and didn't make eye contact and didn't speak unless spoken to. She was quite literally the rudest person I've had the pleasure of being served by and you seriously need to take a look at your customer service training. She had blonde hair and was about 22-25 years old. On top of this, after paying we thought we would buy a cocktail to drink in the sun. After standing at the bar and being ignored we decided to leave. I've been to lost and found lots of times but this was the worst experience of customer service ever and I won't be coming back again now.
Andrew Young: High quality food with a good range of cocktails. We were well looked after by Grainne and service was quick and efficient. I strongly recommend a visit.
Sheba Kaiser: Staff were so wonderful and helpful, we had an amazing birthday celebration. Everything was so perfect for our day. The birthday girl was blown over with the attentiveness of the staff.Thank you so much for helping to make her day perfect
isobel o'connor: Jess S was a brilliant server and was very attentive and friendly, food was great and so were the drinks!
Mayline Ricci: Amazing mocktails, which made me order twice, I forgot the name but it was the one with the passion fruit! Honestly the best mocktails I’ve had in Sheffield (nice and sweet hihi)Also the ambiance is great too !
Lady Elizabeth Hawkshaw: Lively time, food pretty good but more healthy options on the menu would be good. The waitress who looked after us was great, very attentive and helpful. Lovely visit.
Tina Morgan: Very attentive to service and good options for bottomless brunch.Nice atmosphere and good location. Staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend and would go back.
Elisabeth Johnson: We did have a wait for our food, but we were offered free drinks or another round of drinks free. The waitress looking after us was brilliant. Despite our wait everyone had a lovely meal.
Zoe l: Nice friendly staff Megan was our host . Very friendly yummy food ,clean pub would recommend
RoarR. S.: Perfekte Location....da lohnt sich schon der Anblick. Nette Bedienung und am Wochenende gute Musik. Toller Außenbereich 👍😉
Jessica Pemberton: Gr8 private dining room for a celebration dinner. Good value food. Excellent service from Alesha and the team.
Joanne Lenehan: Gorgeous Sunday Dinner, best cauliflower cheese I've ever had. Service was OK bit of a wait for meal which was strange considering it wasn't that busy. Defo worth the wait though. Vegetarian option for Sunday dinner was nice but defo not vegan as contained cheese. The creme brulee was not good-over cooked. Sticky toffee good, doesn't need the honeycomb, but as with most places never serve enough ice cream. Would highly recommend and if in sheffield again o a Sunday will definitely try to go back. Yummy.
Joanne Deegsn: Excellent upmarket bar and restaurant had the bottomless brunch it was 35.00 for food and drinks it was really nice came and filled your drinks up alot got your money worth would really recommend it
Megan Smith: We had our wedding breakfast at lost and found and we can't thank the staff enough they were so good at looking after us and supporting what we needed. The service was fantastic and everyone gave great feedback on the food! Thank you for helping to make the day so special !!
Burke Burke: The bottomless brunch was fab, the food was excellent and the staff, particularly Jess were brilliant, they kept everyone topped up with drinks, even when only one of our part of 10 wanted yet another drink! Everyone in my party said how much they’d enjoyed it I’m sure when any of us are organising a similar event Lost and Found will come top of the list!!
Frankie Didsbury: Lovely bar staff made us some really tasty mocktails
Julie Sheedy: We attended for an afternoon Bottomless Brunch for my 60th birthday, 26 people in all.The food was very good with a great selection for a Bottomless Brunch. The drink side of things was another experience. We had to find staff each time we wanted a drink, one of the cocktails was not available due to unavailable ingredients but no substitute was offered, which was a shame as there wasn't a big choice of drinks to start with.I have emailed the venue with my complaint and had a reply although I wasn't totally satisfied with it.I have been informed that our final bill showed that our groups drinks averaged out at 7.25 drinks per person in a two hour slot.Yes I appreciate that could be classed as alot of drinks, but it was a bottomless brunch. Apparently the policy is 6 drinks per person. I think that this should be stated in the advert for Bottomless Brunch if this is the case. This maybe the reason each time we had finished our drinks we had to go looking for a staff member to serve us.Yes the venue gave us extra time on our booking but this was after a few of us had made a complaint, about the service.
William Poore: Rude, arrogant staff. Over priced pub food. Won’t be returning.A definite need for customer service training.
Jonny Cambridge: Had a lovely afternoon here! Great food, staff and atmosphere. Will be returning and telling my friends 👌🏻

Mark: Best pub on Earth. Proud to have it in Sheffield. Home to the Owls supporters a.k.a Fledglings, of which I’m honoured to be one. Landlord is a legend of Sheffield, he used to be a union leader from the mining days and the Mayor gifted him this pub for his work.

Dan Rodgers: Not bad for a stop off drink before the dogs. Pool table available. Staff welcoming. Didn't stay long enough to get a good sense but could use a little updating. Easier said than done though with current climate - energy bills etc. Would go again though.
Michael Houghton: Absolutely brilliant place great atmosphere great staff been to the Old Crown many Saturdays for karaoke run by Gary who does a fantastic job both karaoke and disco.....but a few week back we had my partners sons wake there and once again Gary and staff pulled out all the strings and gave her lad a brilliant send off 5stars from me
