The Storyteller, Greene King Pub & Carvery: what do users think?

Mark Seekings: Good Quality food . Quick professional service. Very reasonable priced. Will definitely be returning 👍

David Baines: Even though it was a busy Saturday evening there was a great atmosphere in the pub. Ordered food which arrived swiftly and hot. The staff were very polite and friendly. A great evening meal out. Highly recommend.

Cheryl Haynes: Not had a carvery for a while . Lovely range of meats and vegetables. Excellent customer service. Will definitely try the story teller again. Was a welcome treat after shopping at nearby parkgate.

Paul Eastwood: Typical pub carvery, not bad, and priced reasonably. Ideal for kids, with a play area. Maybe best to book as I saw people turned away due it being full or having to wait if they wanted to. Overall not bad.

Aimee Wan Kenobi: It was cozy, very promptly seated. The food was excellent and wait staff was impeccable. A new favourite!
Graham Gunn: Very helpful staff , good food, quality all round.
Jack Browne: I don’t understand how a pub that supposed to serve fish and chips can’t have any fish and chips…
laura carberry: Ordered starters which was ok at a push but the main did not come for 35/40 minutes after the starters which I was not pleased with me my fiancee and my son was sat waiting. When the mains come there was 1 hair in my food and 2 hairs in my fiancée's food which we was not please with. We come here slot for the wacky warehouse but it will be the last time we eat here
Robert Skidmore: Had a great carvery here. Will have to visit again next time I visit family
Stacey Daley: Had a group of 15 of us pre-booked and we all had vouchers on a Sunday evening.I can assume this was very annoying for them as everyone had to go up with a code, multiple times. However, they didn’t let it show if it was. They served us promptly along with other customers, food came out quick and was delicious. We had a corner to ourselves.Couldn’t of asked for better, thanks for catering to us!
Keith Goulty: Nice meal. Pleasant atmosphere and lovely surroundings.
Philip Docherty: Really great food and welcoming staff very nice
rana claydon: This pub is amazing staff and amazing food and atmosphere too. Fabulous all round. Really worth visiting. 😁😁😁😁
Stan Glossop: Great friendly pub serving pretty good food as well
Thomas Boyle: Food niceBeer niceShame they turned the volume on for coronation rubbish lol
Roger Clayton: Not overly impressive. A standard carvery meal apparently consists of 1 , yep you heard right, 1 slive of turkey. E had to go back to ask fir the pigs in blanks we'd paid for, which turned out to be sausages with no blanket.. the carrots were almost completely raw. Other than that it was fabulous.
John Carr: Nice staff and friendly service. The rump steak we had was very fatty but once I told them they swapped it out for a fresh straight away.
JP H: Clean and friendly reasonably priced
Alexander Ha: Love this place, Emma is a great staff member. Good food and good location, had many meals here. Good selection of drinks too, fairly priced
John Spencer: Great service food was lovely
Clare Pasley: Lovely food
Jacquie Morton: Me & my family often meet up at the storyteller and we never have a bad experience. Food great and all staff are really hard working and very friendly we come back every week for the friendly staff & good value meals
Jasmine Bowers: Visited on a Sunday and it was very busy, had to ask for a table. I'd recommend booking as the carvery seemed very popular. Didn't wait long for a table. Service was lovely, food was nice and didn't take long for it to be brought out either.
donna louise: Went in on a Saturday afternoon and it was very busy and told there was a 40min wait for food .. it arrived in about 15 mins . Really nice food , carvery looked nice but opted for beef n ale pie good sized portions value for money . Will come again
Zoe Craven: food and drinks were nice, but had long que for bar and had to wait almost 2hrs for kids to be allowed access to warehouse play

The Greystones: what do users think?

Ryan Davis: A Thornbridge pub with a great range of their beers on tap. Food served mostly consists of pizzas, which are excellent and served quickly. Plenty of seating on benches outside which is good on sunny days.

Sara Agahi-Murphy: First time at The Greystones seeing Ye Vagabonds for our anniversary. A great venue and really kind, helpful staff. Thank you for accommodating us at the back with our small 7 month old baby. We had a wonderful time - Thank you!

Jan Mowbray: Ye Vagabonds provided excellent entertainment in this venue, which has a great atmosphere and offers quality performances. . Dropped 1 star for the uncomfortable chairs, toilet queue and only 1 draught cider.

Andrew Ward: Great selection of beers, great pizza, and even better live music in the Backroom.

Julia Waterhouse: Fantastic community pub, catering for a wide range of different customers: drinks, pizzas, music, comedy - all fab!

Paul Kirkup: Great pub, great Back Room venue, great beer. John Bramwell and Dave Fiddler were astonishingly good.
Chris Cavill chriscavill451@live.co.uk: The Brothers Gillespie, returning what is lost
David Moncaster: Great band. Disappointed to see seats in what was a standing area.
john bee: Proper pub. With live music that's often mind bending. Example. Young Liam Johnston from Sheffield. His " on a horizon " or really anything he does...It's almost he's playing lead and backing himself...On drums...Blew me away....He's on Spotify.... Awesome.
Deb Taylor: Fabulous venue, good pub atmosphere, good food and excellent live music
Lois Mundy: Great pizza, great drinks (including alcohol free IPA on tap), great gig venue.
Daniel Clarke: Great place for live music and good choice in drinks.
Paul Coggins: Good pizza and beer
Pauline O'Hare: Good pizza, craft beer from @Thornbridge, nice atmosphere. Plenty of room and outside seating. The Backroom is a good size for live music gigs. Good night out
Peter Scott: Great atmosphere. Great artists. And on our doorstep.
Dawn Cowan: Lovely food, entertainment fantastic
Fiona Lovelace: Brilliant small venue to see a band at.
Dawn Davies: Great atmosphere in the Backroom at The Greystones seeing Imar perform. They engage with the audience and are so talented. Love the mix of instruments and the sets were perfectly put together. Well done Imar! Have a great tour.
Glenn Milligan: Outstanding venue, staff and drinks. Some amazing roots bands.
Rhiannon Hopwood: Clean, bustling atmosphere, Staff at the Greystones rang us back to let us know specific times of the bands because of disability without us asking them to call us back after an ok answer! Great small venue, great staff ! Know nothing about drinks or food, soft seating along one side of the room for those that may need and so you can still be close to front !
Karen Hornsey: good
Christine O'Neill: Great atmosphere......loved it
Sam Barthram: Great beers and pizzas
Graham Darrington: It would have got 5 stars but for the fact it doesn't accept cash. It isn't a legal requirement for a person to have a bank account. What makes us a supposedly caring country is the people have choice.
Amy Anne Spiteri Cornish: Really fun place especially if u are in the AS music school community as u get to preform.
Dawn Hynes: Bootleg blondie great night
Phil Beer: Excellent music venue. Good pizzas.

The National Videogame Museum: what do users think?
Mike Naylor: When you walk in, it doesn't look like there is enough to entertain you for 3 hours but once you've in you'll find that peice of your childhood and you'll not let it go.The displays feature some great exhibits of the history of gaming for when you need a break from the screen. You get a 3 hour slot and while it tends to be busy at the start of this it does quieten down a bit towards the end. They don't validate parking anymore and the NCP that is close by (Hartshead) is really expensive.I'd park in cheaper car parks and walk a little way, I recommend the car park at West Bar, its 5 minutes walk.
Luke Parnaby: Great afternoon with a class of Y6 children - all sorts of different games and an excellent workshop about building your own controller. Very nostalgic for the adults, too.
Gail Jepson: My son went here and as an avid gamer loved it. Loved seeing all the old console from years ago and also being able to play most of the games. Staff really nice and the place itself was very clean and tidy. Would recommend to anybody who's into gaming. Also I little gift shop there.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …More
K. Peake: This was an amazing museum to visit, with exhibits about gaming and consoles through the decades! Games can also be played at no additional cost to the admission fee on PCs, consoles and arcades. They were all fun, including well-known ones and more obscure games! The staff welcomed us warmly to the museum, also giving a helping hand when some games were confusing.
Michael Féaux: Loads of fun playing games, really inspiring videos and a great nostalgia element for an 80s kid like me. They even have a power glove- It's so bad!
Claire Swain: Fantastic Place! Full of fun games. I love the retro games. The staff are friendly and helpful. The environment is disabled friendly. The tickets are very reasonable. Highly Recommended to anyone who enjoys video games!Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …More

jBread: Snowball fight goated.Good for what it is but rather lacklustre.Visited on Public holiday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …More
naomi: lots of games, can spend plenty of time here so good price for time :)
Anton Lapinski: Me and my son loved it here. It's great how interactive the experience is, being hands on with so much history and being immersed in the game play was brilliant. Who wants to just look at old consoles through a sheet of glass and read what games they were famous for when here you can play the games yourself either bringing back memories or learning of their evolution. There's lots of space which makes the place feel airy, and unlike most arcades and videogame shops it doesn't have that unpleasant smell.I really enjoyed playing Time Crisis and would love to see more arcade machines like this in the museum.I was surprised to see that they had a range of consoles set up from 1 all the way up to 8 player. Which would be great if you went as a group.Entry fee for 3 hours is good value as you'd easily spend more than that in an arcade for half an hour's play.
Gareth Rawlings: It's a great place to play old videogames. But there is very little museum. We had a really good time and will probably go again to play the games. But there is very little on history.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …More
Charlie Johnson: I went there with family. It was really fun and we took photos with the giant Sonic. Would go there again. Only problem was getting inside the buildingVisited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …More
Cylia: Not a museum. Why don't you change the name to "National Videogame Arcade"? I wouldn't mind tickets being non refundable if they'd been cheaper. Honestly a big waste of time, just a sad room filled with loud children.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …More
Michal B: Great place with a lot to do !! Highly recommended:)Visited on Weekend Wait time 1 hr+ Reservation recommended Yes …More
Beckie: A great day out for adults and kids alike! Brought back some happy memories as a kid! A great way to spend a few hours trying out many different computer and arcade games.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …More
Sammy Conway: Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended YesMore
Dan Brookman: Fun and education together through videogames. What could be better?Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure …More
Barbara T Salgó Cobley: Fantastic place!! Must visit when about Sheffield. All the games included in the entry price. About 100 different games. Great for all ages
pridefuldaisy 14: I was imagining it to be a normal walk around museum but it blown my expectations. The staff are friendly and it's a massive area where you can play all sorts of games.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …More
Helena Binks: Loved it!

The Leadmill: what do users think?
Mallard 4468: Had a few good nights here
Ian Massey: Great venue, decent selection of drinks, staff were friendly
Glynn: Overall a very good venue. However I went to see a comedy show the other night and there wasn't enough leg room at all. My thighs were really aching and by the time it finished my legs were hurting and couldn't wait to stand up, felt like standing up but didn't want the comedian saying something so I felt I had to keep sat still, with me being tall I need more leg room and unless the chairs get to be more spaced out between the rows in future I honestly wouldn't want to go again. My mate said his legs were aching and not as tall as me, so something has to be done. However this is an overall rating as I've enjoyed seeing a few bands in the past here standing. Staff always seem friendly.
James: Bar staff friendly. Good music. Also found the security staff good. Let people get on with their night which was great
Samantha Frickleton: Made a special trip to Sheffield to go to see music at the Leadmill. Amazing venue. Show was sold out but there was plenty of room so as not to feel hemmed in. Felt really safe in the venue. Friendly staff, good sound quality and clean toilets. What more could you want?
Jamie Johnson: Went to see Hannah grae and James Marriott, loved the music and there was loads of room.
Kayla: Really great venue, just a shame the woman running the cloakroom was rude- rolling eyes and huffing and puffing.
Hannah Baines: Faulty ticket - usually have a great time with no difficulty getting in but last time i went they claimed my ticket had already been used 30 minutes earlier (i hadnt sent it to anyone so there is no way this could have happened) and when i showed the guy that it was my name on the ticket he didnt care and just told me wait behind a barrier where no one came to speak to me about it, essentially just leaving me (18F) on my own outside due to a fault in their system. Made me uncomfortable with how i was treated or may be treated again if i go back.
JSB 1: Went 27/1/23 around 11ish, they didn’t accept mine and my mates ticket code and we had to wait other side of the road for over 1 hour before security let 100 plus in. Once in it was all great experience but security needs to do better getting people in as a lot in the queue either tried sneaking in or just started leaving. The men’s restroom at 4am with the 2 security guards trying to break down one of the cubicle doors was pretty good end to my first night out in Sheffield! 😂
Callum Berry: Venue was fine, bar staff friendly. Although, rude and threatening behaviour from the door staff, clearly looking for trouble where there is none. The sort that give doormen a bad name.
Julie Cole: Fantastic venue, great sound/lights, city centre location so parking not great but close to train station and bus routes, please support this venue 😊
Colin Pratt: A fantastic venue. Nice door and bar staff and a good selection of beers. Gets pretty full but it has good wide viewing area. I loved it
Emma Though: My favourite nightclub
D Mark Antrobus: By far the best night out and club in Sheffield, also they don’t rip you of with the drinks. Sensible money.
E. Lewin: Great sheffield night club and live music/comedy venue. Great staff.
Owen Brown: As with any night at the Leadmill, my night seeing Amyl and The Sniffers was amazing, but this was extra special.I had been due to see them in Liverpool (The Leadmill sold out so quickly) with my daughter (her favourite band). However when tour dates were altered it became apparent we couldn't. My daughter is being treated for anorexia and Amyl in Liverpool was a focal point for getting to a healthy weight, which would mean she could attend the gig. Sadly, the changed date was to early. I contacted the Leadmill who went out of their way to help and put us on the guest list. The night was amazing and it gave my daughter a huge boost and was a really important marker in her treatment. The Leadmill has once again proven itself to be more than just a venue. It is Sheffield and we can't let it go.Thank you to everyone at The Leadmill for what you did for my daughter, the gig will live long in her memory, but not as long as your gesture will in mine.A truly amazing venue and staff.
Ruurd Edens: great venue. no cloakroom though.
Heather C: Overcrowding took away the enjoyment of the evening (26/11/22) being shoved all night as people tried to make a path through to the bar or toilets. Didn't feel safe.
Paes Pal: The money drop night is a borderline scam. They claimed to drop 1.5k yet had about 25 balloons mostly containing fivers (think a couple tenners) each. Asked a worker and he was sceptical about the whole thing himself? Me and my friend paid for tickets specifically for this event so complete waste of money. False advertising isn't a good look..
hannah hallas: Please don’t shut the leadmill it’s a sheffield gem!
Jem Alexander: Dont go on a Saturday, pained looks on people's faces because the music mannn.
