The lady at the till took my money through gritted teeth, not even attempting to disguise her disgust at the small pile of tried-on shoes left behind. My son was shocked at her attitude too. I work in a shop too, and i'm SO grateful when someone buys something, I dont care what a mess is left behind at all. Bad attitude, 'lady'.

Ryan Cox: I am absolutely disgusted in a member of staff who claimed to be the manager, but I don't believe she was.I bought 2 pairs of shoes from Shoezone Sheffield Moor - I'd paid on card not realising I needed change for the bus.I went straight back into the store after leaving when I realised and approached the lady who served me - I explained that I'd paid by the wrong tender and asked if I could have a refund, I would then buy the shoes again with cash (so I have change).She said "I can't do that", I asked "you can't issue refunds?" And she replied sarcastically "well yeah, but then I have to do the paperwork" - in shock of her laziness I left the store - angry, obviously because that now meant that I had to spend money somewhere else to get the change.When I was passing again a few minutes later I went back in and asked to speak to a manager, she said "I am the manager"I then asked "if you are the manager, why are you saying you can't be bothered to do a refund, even though the customer needs one?" She laughed again (which was infuriating me!) And said "I never said I couldn't be bothered", I said "you said it's too much paperwork" - then whilst patronising me tried to explain ti me the process of a refund and 'how much effort it is' - i stopped her, explaining I too work in retail, so I know the process... but I am a customer NEEDING a refund, who was willing to then spend that same amount of money again - she then scoffed in my face so I asked her name and started walking away.Understandably getting more and more frustrated I turned to another employee who was smirking the entire time and said "please can I have her name?" She said to me "you don't need to know her name", I said "yes I do because I need to know who I am complaining about" - the rude employee then shouted from the other end of the store "just tell them the manager of sheffield moor, they'll know who I am"And that brings us to here.I have never ever been so angry by a retail employee, i would never EVER speak to one of my customers the way your employee did.I do not believe she was the manager because I don't believe a big brand like ShoeZone would hire such lazy, rude, incompetent managers - that would just be crazy.She was short, very heavy-set woman in her 40s or 50s or maybe a little older with browny-red hair tied back.I don't understand how people who have zero people skills and who think they can get away with talking to people like they're trash manage to get customer service jobs - and I don't expect it from a store I have been spending money in every few months for the past 5 years.Because of this very rude woman I for sure will never be stepping foot inside one of your stores again, I am going to be making very public reviews on your store unless I know it has been dealt with.I had to go spend more money somewhere else to get the change when I had already spent money and was willing to spend that same amount of money again - but couldn't because it's too much paperwork.I would like a response as soon as possible before I take this further.

One of the customer assistant named Chris understood my concern and he happily swapped my slip ons with different footwear which was quite appropriate for me to solve my challenge of arch pain. I would definitely come back again due to its great customer service.

The trainers I bought today are the first trainers I have been able to get on my feet comfortably for nearly three years. I bought two pair. Susan Shawcroft: The Moor Sheffield...We have used this shop on a number of occasions and have always been very satisfied unfortunately not so today. We felt pressurised and unable to spend time choosing. We were approached immediately on entering the store by a nice young gentleman who asked if we needed any help. I explained I was just looking and he said just give me a shout when you are ready. I was then approached 3 more times. (Wondering if the staff are on commission or just wanting you out of the shop quick due to COVID but if that’s the case no one was waiting to enter) On the last occasion I was stood with one pair of shoes but was answering an important text. Another gentleman came up to us and asked if we needed help. I replied could you give us a bit of time we have been approached 4 times. Instead of saying no problem he was verbally rude to us. Leading us to leave without purchasing. My husband would have spent £130 and I would have spent £135 so a loss to sales of £265. We then went to sports direct and bought 4 pairs of sketchers at great prices just above half the price we would have paid at the sketchers shop.

Irisz Tigzirt: I bought 4 pairs of shoes here in the last year. Unfortunately, I don't know the name of the male seller, but he was very kind and helpful. My husband bought me a pair of shoes for Christmas that I didn't find comfortable, so I went back to the store today and thought I'd exchange them for something else. The lady who worked this afternoon, after a visual inspection, claimed that I had walked outside in the shoes because there was a little dirt on the soles of the shoes. I think it may have gotten there from my kitchen floor, or it was already like that when my husband bought it. She didn't believe me that I didn't use the shoes, it was very humiliating for me. I am very disappointed and I will definitely never wear these shoes and I will never shop at this store again. I am sorry because I have always enjoyed shopping here before.

Jerry Parker: I needed a few different photos of the boots I wanted, so I emailed the CBS and within a few minutes I received back an email along with lots of photos of the boots at different angles, after a quick phone call, which was promptly answered I placed my order, the following day my boots "Stars & Stripes WB-53" were delivered by Parcelforce, unfortunately I'd ordered the wrong size and they had to be sent back, my revised order was sent out within about an hour of CBS receiving my returned boots, again they were delivered next day by Parcelforce, CBS is an incredible company who go the extra mile to ensure their customers are completely happy, I'd buy from this company again in a heartbeat, it's just a shame I could only leave 5 stars in the review because they deserve so many more, thank you for all your help.

Christopher Todd: After purchasing some shoes less than a month ago and them falling apart. Today we returned them. The shop was not busy and I approached the counter. I had to wait for the girl behind the counter to acknowledge me as she was busy on her phone 🙄. Once she had finished her very important message she thought she might do a bit of work. She refunded the money back into my wife’s account and my wife asked if we could choose some more shoes ... she turned around and went into the back of the shop. After a few minutes of standing around in the shop where the staff outnumbered the customers my wife approached the manager and she went and got the same girl that initially “served” us. She was on her phone again🙄🙄. Totally disinterested in us she brought some shoes and passed them to us for our son to try on while she watched another member of staff dealing with a different customer. Usually at Clark’s they will fit the shoes check the size etc etc. Not this time. My wife had had enough and reported her to the manager who came up with a poor excuse and was equally disinterested. Not going there again! Having said that when we first bought the shoes the staff were very helpful. Must be the Sunday shift. Poor service. Not impressed.

Lizzy Latimer: Once again received great service and children's shoes. Booked in advance so there was no waiting around. All the staff were well equipt with protective screens, masks and gloves. I felt confident to be shopping there. The summer shoe selection was excellent. Thank you Clarks!

Unix Pro: Poor quality sweaty shoes. To add to that the most miserable and rude staff I have ever encountered. Almost that it was a bad thing that I dared to buy a pair of shoes (that was another mistake as it turned out..). When I asked what the returns policy was the woman blankly said 'norrrr reteorns police' so clearly they also need training in consumer rights as well as customer service. Wont be back

Rasa Dr.: Rude staff. Came to return shoes and sales assistant was very abrupt, not helpful and had a superior feeling. For such a basic and small shop you’d expect staff to be nicer, or at least try to be nicer.I felt like lady behind the counter was making fun of me for trying to return shoes, that completely broke after a month of wearing then.

DreaMing IlluSionS: I always liked the store, mostly I buy school shoes from here. I bought pair of my son's school shoes from here about 2/3 months ago. Their sole came off. Went into this store a bought a new one and tried to make complaint at cashier. Surprise to see the attitude was harsh and very rude, not even basic customer service, she says your son must have wore them alot that's why it happened. I said this is very strange. I asked her twice what she saying and why and her attitude was buy it or leave it, we don't care. She did mention that I can bring it back to them but I'm definitely sure they been worn too much. Funny the receipt she gave has a website address for store review, and it's broken.

Gemma Wainwright: I love this shop, lots of variety... ankle boots knee boots, ballerina shoes, trainers, flip flops, carpet slippers, also for men and children, they do handbags, has a part at the back which is a factory outlet and you can find some real bargains from back there however if you do choose items from the factory outlet you can't return or get a refund, staff are friendly and helpful, easy wheelchair access, no toilets
