John Douglas Longstaff: My 90 year old friend tries to be independent and keep himself active. He needed a new fireside chair. He looked around and found himself one he liked at Next, on the Moor, Sheffield. The computer system for ordering items was "down", apparently, so he was asked to return the next day. This he did. Having selected a chair he produced his Visa card. However, because he does not have a PC or e mail address he was told he could not buy the chair. No explanation was given. Next lost a near £500 sale. Is this good customer service?
Craig Swift: Poor selection of stock. Went of trousers. Size 34, regular. Nothing in stock for 90% of the styles they have. The most regular size in the UK, and no stock. Poor.

Shanelle Clough-Watson: Honestly in disbelief. Never have I ever struggled to buy woman’s office clothes from next until today. I walked in to buy a blazer but instead was given a choice of a skinny sugar free caramel latte in they're in store costa coffee or a 7 night 5star all inclusive couples escape to turkey with pool side view in theyre in store Tui travel agents 🤔 what the hell is next anymore.

Gam A: Great range of clothing for everyone which are decent quality. Prices are not too bad compared to other places such as primark etc.Only downside are the changing rooms. Found them to be a bit grubby, plus no seating in them.
Stacey Daley: Love matalan but since the self checkouts came in you now have to queue to collect a parcel and pay card on self checkout if you pick anything else up. Seems ridiculous no one will serve you and no one to help on self serve either. Very poor customer service.
Jordan Wright: Reasonably priced however clothes (at least the t-shirts i tried on) do not fit well at all, the small slim fit t-shirts felt like a medium if not large. Rude staff also, there was 4 members of staff on the tills and a queue of 10+ people and 2/3 of the staff members were stood chatting about non work related things behind the tills not serving new customers.
SUE Johnson: Sunday afternoon is ideal to visit with car parking available. A range of clothes for all the family at inexpensive prices. Quality does vary. The changing rooms could have done with a good clean but the staff on the entrance were pleasant and helpful.

magdi mussa: Today I treated very unfair in Sheffield store, when I tried to return some Items that I purchased yesterday, they refused to refund me instead they forced me to take a Matalan geft card after long talk as they said we aren't allowed to refund any sale items ( which completely wrong), also this is not mentioned or written on the store or the website, as the website mentioned that they accept any incuding discounted return within 14 days

Reynald Serneo: Wasn’t planning to buy a bike and I was only looking around. So I approached this gentleman working on the bike services “Olivier” - he was really helpful going through with me what I should have looked for in a bike to use to commute to work via train. Whilst he was servicing the bike his another colleague - “Joseph” was going through with me with the paperwork and registering my bike. I was really pleased and happy that I have purchased this bike with the guidance and assistance of these guys at the bike service station.
Madeleine Davis: Decathlon is a lovely place to buy any and all sporting products, they have an extensive range of gear at competitive prices. The staff are very helpful, and the customer services department is well-managed and very helpful with returns and exchanges. Highly recommend!

Adrian Evans: Mixed feelings about this shop. I have been to bigger and better stores in Europe. The shop only offers a fraction of the goods Decathlon sells. Their own branded goods are great value for money,and well up to the job. Sizing is a little bizarre,I tried on 4 different styles of trousers in the store.There was huge variations in the stated size. So be careful when ordering online.
Mary Kinsella: Visited Decathlon today with my husband. We needed advice on waterproof clothing for our daughter. We were assisted by Connor who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We were able to pass on the information to our daughter overseas and subsequently purchase the most appropriate clothing for the trip she is planning which included jacket, trousers and gaiters

Steve Ward: Decathlon caters for all the popular sports & leisure activities. The majority of products are reasonably priced. The staff in the Sheffield store are always helpful & have a good knowledge of their products. 1 hour free parking while shopping in store is a bonus!

Scott Muldoon: Bought a bike from here a few months ago and had a problem with the chain dropping, the mechanics tried to fix it but it didn't work so in they end they did a full upgrade on the chainset free of charge (which would have cost nearly £200). Okay the bike shouldn't have had the problem in the first place but i really can't fault the customer service from the Sheffield store. It's actually the 4th bike we've bought from here and I would definitely go back again 👍

BeastlyHusla: Generally a nice store, has two floors with an escalator in middle which leads to the sports section, GAME, hiking and junior clothing. Ground floor has all your trainers, sport branded clothing like Nike, Adidas etc Been there several times and not had any issue.

Stephen Moakes: Arguably the worst customer service I’ve received in 20 yearsAfter placing an order on the 27th Dec and receiving a despatch confirmation and tracking number it turned out the parcel was never given to the courier.After 5-6 emails to chase throughout Jan I had no reply and was forced to open a case with PayPal. After no response to the case I managed to speak to Customer Services and on 3 occasions throughout late Jan and Feb was promised refunds.After chasing again on Feb 6-8th I was told unless I closed the case with PayPal and said there was no issue with the retailer they would not refund the £155.25. After raising with PayPal this is a clear breach of PayPals terms and conditions and they’re now being looked into for this abuse of the Chargeback process.I can’t recommend using a smaller independent retailer more. Go Outdoors, Millets, Blacks and Ultimate Outdoors are essentially the same company with zero customer service, some clever marketing and no interest in anything other than a quick sale.

Ben Elliott: Very poor experience. The store has got the balance between security and customer service wrong. It shouldn't be so difficult to try on a coat and being watched like a hawk does not make for a comfortable shopping experience. A staff member had a go at me for being annoyed at this.

Kamla Piano: I spent ages trying the perfumes and looking at all the clothes while the perfume testers settled on my skin. It was a treat shopping day. I had looked online and decided I'd try my local Next store instead of buying from ebay or amazon. You need to smell the fragrances for a birthday treat. Wow the Next Pink was lovely just what I wanted. Although Cashmere was also in the running. I finally chose a gift set and went to pay. It was £16. The assistant said it was £18 pay 'when you're ready'. I pointed out the price error and after standing there being ignored and obviously no one cared whether I waited or not - I walked out. Lost sale for the High Street - winner for online. Don't you sales assistants see what's happening and care about the company and your job? Apparently not. Two sales staff were looking after a return. Check your CCTV and see how you're losing sales.
Ryan Thomas Train Movies: One of the Lady staff was fantastic and kind helping my mum dealing what needed to be sorted out with so I really appreciate that.
Jo Warburton: Bought a sofa set from next waited 8weeks paid £1.556 , cash, delivered wrong colour and fabric also wrong size 😑 have waited 10 + days for my money back which should have been today , telling me there is an error on the system 🙃 so now have to wait another 10 days to get cash back, disgusting beware, also they couldn't care less thatI am i an oap need my money 💰am still sitting on garden chairs 💺
Wendy Lou: I love Next, lots of different styles for everyone. The quality is always great. I won't go anywhere else now as nowhere can compete. I can order at home and get free delivery try on without the hassle of a changing room, not to mention those awful mirrors. Returns are easy too. Keep it up Next!!!

Bev Causer (Marmaloid): Clothing over the years have got thin and rip easily. I won't be buying next clothes anymore. Very disappointed with the quality however the shop and staff are very friendly and polite. If I had kept the receipt I could have exchanged them but the problem shouldn't have been there in the first place. Hence 3 stars

However, I have to return my purchase tomorrow, as the cashier told me to keep the box and receipt to exchange the shoes (which were 50% discounted) if I wasn't satisfied.I tried the right shoe on in the store and it was perfect but when I put the left one on at home it felt like it was a size smaller.I know I will get them exchanged to the next size up but it made me wonder why the range had been so hugely reduced.Maybe the manufacturer had issues in making them and more may be returned in due course, but the Retail Shop gives a brilliant service.Alan Cockayne.Sheffield Drakehouse Branch.
