Pat Devine: Fantastic!!I phoned up the Sheffield branch, to get some advise about purchasing a bluetooth transmitter, for our TV, as the reviews for some models (on a famous selling site) were hit and miss, and I did not want to waste money.The lad I spoke to couln't have been more helpful.After the call I went on their website and purchased the mee ones he recommened.Even though there was a free delivery option, I payed for next day delivery because we were going away and I wanted to try it out before we went.It arrived the next morning. I had and email and text letting me know what time it would arrive.I am not technical but got this brilliant little device working straight away.The mee I purchased allows 2 headsets to connect at the same time.I can now lay and watch the TV in bed without disturbing my partner.It is a handy thing to take away with you too.100% will use Richer Sound from now on.Thank you for a great service.

I’m privileged to know that they are my local dealer .. that said I would encourage anyone, whether local or further afield to visit their fabulous showroom .. they have such a diverse product range, properly designated listening spaces and nice coffee too ! My latest purchase from Moorgate of turntable and streamer are quite simply some of the best bits of Kit I’ve ever owned .. Clive Goodman: I have been a customer of Paul at Moorgate Acoustics for many years. Sometimes I email or phone but have often driven up from NW London to Sheffield to visit and make a purchase. I have always found Paul and his staff to be friendly, knowledgeable and have never been pressured to make a purchase. I consider Paul to be a friend. As an aside he takes some pretty mean photos on his travels.

While there I had a discussion (I think with another Paul, hope I have got you name right!) about a possible replacement preamp and this led to an excellent introduction to streaming. I was very impressed. The staff are very friendly, really knowledgeable and not at all pushy. Overall an excellent afternoon and a great experience - I will definitely go back!

Mark Holterman: I recently decided the sound system in my car just wasn’t good enough, but I wanted an installer who could give me a better quality sound rather than just loads of bass. After hearing their demo cars at the North West Audio show (a high-end home audio show) I settled on Source Sounds and following a detailed discussion of my needs we decided I should have a combination of Hertz and Audison components. I also wanted the car to look stock after installation and not to invalidate the manufacturers five year warranty (my car is only a month old). Installation took two days and I could not be happier. To say the sound quality is better is a vast understatement - it is literally transformed. It has gone from sounding like a ‘ghetto blaster’ to sounding like home separates! Poorly recorded music (early punk for example) sounds much better and a lot of fun - well recorded music sounds simply astonishing! I honestly can’t praise the blokes at Source Sounds highly enough. No matter what the level of stock system you have in your car (and I’ve heard most of them), Source Sounds can improve on it.

Dura Gas: We’ve recently bought two ford transit customs and need the extra security adding to them, I phoned source sounds and explained to Paul what we was after he went trough our options and explained every thing in detail. Once the install was carried out we had a little teething problem Chris stayed late and sorted it out straight away. These guys are good at what they do and very knowledgable, the attention to detail is unreal. After the install they went trough the alarm system in detail and was more than happy to answer any questions. Top service guys keep up the good work sure we will be back again.

Danny: I contacted Source Sounds about having parking sensors installed. Source Sounds estimated a 2 to 3 week turnaround as they are super busy at the moment, however Source Sounds said that they would let me know if a free slot was to become available in the mean time. I actually got a call just over a week later with a new timeslot as they managed to squeeze my car in much earlier than originally expected. I am super impressed how they managed to send the sensors off to the paint shop to be colour coded to match my vehicle and then be able to fit me in so soon! Lee was super helpful over emails, answering any questions I had. Paul showed me how to use the sensors when I came to pick up my car which I found really helpful. And thanks to the workshop guys for squeezing my car in in-between other jobs, and you also did an incredible job with my car! The parking sensors are flush and are barely noticeable at first glance, I am more than pleased with the process of having these sensors installed. They also work like a dream! Thanks again for a professional and quick service!

Katie Howe: Brought my Pioneer SPH-DA120 a while ago for help on getting my car’s steering wheel controls to work with the radio. All I got was “Oh it’s a really, really complicated job” and quoted me a whopping £180. My fiancé eventually figured it out and sorted it out with a £10 lead which they’ll of course have known all along. Take from that what you will.
Response: Hello Katie, I thank you for your review and I am not sure of all the circumstances of this as I am not sure if this was myself Paul who spoke to you? However it looks like you have purchased a patch lead for £10 and this means that your vehicle already had a steering/stalk adaptor. I am sorry that your experience has not been the best but I can see that this stereo was not purchased through us and therefore we wouldn't know exactly what item you have already or needed. We do pride ourselves on offering a 1st class service but if in this instance you are not happy then like I said please accept me apology.
