Homebase - Sheffield Drakehouse (including Bathstore): what do users think?

ripleywood10: Absolutely excellent staff and customer service. I’ve got a big garden project on the go and it’s quite difficult as there’s only me to do all the heavy stuff. Any bit of help offered is very much appreciated. I think I’ve got the majority of what I need but in recent weeks I’ve had lovely help from all staff, plus lots of random smiles and Hellos, which is so nice. Special thanks to: Paul, who advised re: weed killer (I went with membrane and a flamethrower in the end); Lauren, who manoeuvred my wayward trolley last week and loaded my car; Nick who helped me get stuff to, and into, my car today but who has been helpful with advice previously too; Clare (Bear) who is a wonderful ambassador for Homebase, with a ready smile and genuine care for customers (even when challenged by unpleasant “customers”). You’re all fabulous and I’ll see you if I need that extra bag of bark…!!

Emma Thomson: Staff nice and friendly, lots of stock in store however none of the paint I required, seemed filled out with overstock. Have some lovely new ranges and wide selection of lightening which was all avaliable on the shelf.

Ian Goodwin: Love this place, cost me a fortune always end up buying more than intended,Obviously they are good at sales

paul bullivant: Great staff a woman was really helpful saved us some money credit to the store keep it up a big thank you 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
David Fairest: Most things you require, but at a price, with the visit
graham wild: Sad faced sales women behind the counter.... bought some fence panel paint and it was more fun watching it dry than watching the sad faced sales assistants behind the counter that sold it to me ...they should stay in the kitchen and burn the husband's tea if they husband's is unfortunately married to these sour faced women
Dale Cheeseman: Didn't sell blinds, you'd expect a large hardware store like this to sell these kinds of things.
Rachael Storey: Terry at drakehouse Homebase should be praised for his knowledgeable advice and customer service approach. We now have a toilet that hopefully will not leak! After 3 trips in one day. He needs a golden staff award for his help and support shown to us today. Thank you Terry.
Teri Wilde: They have what I want at a relatively good price.
Jackie Rodgers: Collect amazon parcels from here so brilliant I don't interact wit bored looking staff
Chris Hackett: Expensive..£6 dearer than Wickes for the same shed paint
Sharron Scholes: Brilliant shop a little expensive but you can buy most things in there
Bryan Hawley: Great place to browse and get ideas, well stocked garden center, bought a large Margareta daisy plant.
C P: Always enjoy a visit to homebase
kailash ravuri: Usual homebase for your diy needs, the place also have a garden centre which is an addon if you looking for it. The place also has dulux decoration centre with various other paint brands. There is ample of parking spaces as it is crystal peaks retail park.
Nicola Whitham: Visited to buy wallpaper and paint for daughters room and was told if she changes her mind we can return. Came In to return at a later date and didn't have a receipt so was told to wait while the lady served everyone else, then was told "well I don't know if you even paid as you don't have a receipt" I explained I wanted an exchange and the lady said no and implied I'd stolen it but then mentioned how I did not buy it all together (i did but she wouldn't know eitherway because she did not serve me) I explained it was part of a very large shop where I'd also bought a few other items and the bill was nearly £200 but I only wanted to exchange the paint and paper for alternatives . At time of purchase I wasn't told a time limit or reciept only for exchange. I won't ever shop here again as the lady wasted so much of my time and it was so embarrassing. There was no need for her to be so rude . I use this shop alot, the other staff are usually polite and helpful but her behaviour has put me off returning. So unprofessional
Chris Holloway: Drab place, staff kind of ok, didn't get a call back as requested
Renars Simenovskis: Perfect shop for house stuff and planting plants/ veggies
Alan Jones: Helpful
Hermione S Vella: Brian from the kitchens department was excellent and worth the extra mention . His customer service skills were outstanding and should be praised by management. I bought more than what I would have if it was just standard service . Thanks
Alan Hewitt: Had the part I wanted in stock so got my job done.
Natalie Calpin: Brian in the kitchen department gave excellent customer service and product knowledge thank you to Brian for increasing my spend ensuring I had everything that I needed helpful advice the best service I have received in years from ANY store and feel this lacks in many places.Praise required by management to Brian thank you again
Lis Osborn: Clean. Friendly staff.
Lara Webster: Had everything I needed.
Howard Stoney: Shop had the item I required at a reasonable price

The Range, Sheffield: what do users think?
Anwar Hussain: A great place to buy all your household essentials, this is an alternative to B&M and has a bigger selection of products to choose from. They have a great garden centre to choose from. You also have the choice of purchasing frozen food from here, so it's pretty much a one stop shop.
Liam Drabble: Great
sajid rehman: Excellent store - it has so a range (hence the name I guess) decent prices too.
Linda Smythe: Never any assistance if you need help and no point calling to check if stock is available as they never answer the phone
Paul M: Found isles round the till area very tight mainly stock in the way of manual wheelchair. Never any staff around to help.o
Jeremy Peck: A good big store compared to others I have been to.Decent amount of onsite parking but very tight bays.
CR: Decent value but very cluttered with that much stock it's hard to find anything
Steve Marples: The range is the new Woolworths and i always enjoy a visit as much as I used to enjoy good old Woolies.
Michael Hayes: Excellent service
Eliot Dawson: 100 time better than the 1 in Chesterfield the manager of chesterfield must be comply rubbish
Linda Whitham: Always buy something here. It's fatal
Stephen Allen: Bought a chair for 300 pounds it was advised with a matching cushion but it came with no cushion false advertisement got no satisfaction from the shop
Angie Kay: Man at till serving 2 customers almost at same time ! Ridiculous!!!!! I was still using my bank card and he was serving next customer, right next to and I had not even packed my shopping, nothing like rushing !
the Happy Mason: Clean tidy and what I expected
Emma stothard: Wide range of items. Love visiting
Lynn Green: good for craft stuff for kids large range of household stuff a nice cafe and garden centre
kelly marie: Fave shop ever!!! Just bought myself a parasol for garden and base! Adult life 🙌🏻
Susan Athanasiadi: Good prices, huge range of products

wilko: what do users think?
Lynne Claxton: Excellent
Cenk Turkoglu: I can find many hardware items here and they are cheap while being good quality. I would definitely recommend you going here if you are looking for gardening, painting, electrical and toiletry products.
Janell Fletcher: Staff in the store are utterly rude and unprofessional. They all need training in how to deal with customers. Tried speaking with 3 different people all as bad. Ended up leaving my goods and walking out. Other Wilko stores are far better.
Lis Osborn: Massive and nice
ለዓለም አለም: Low bugdt improve your house dicoration
SUZANNE WOOD: Wilko. Good as always. Nice staff. Good prices.
Olugbenga Gbadebo: Nice store with good prices
Dawn Thomson: Best wilkos in Sheffield for stock and range of products
c bu: Great shop, good products on reasonable price. Student events regularly on.
Evan Howle: Good selection of items. The staff are always thoughtful and kind
Rita Highley: It was ok but it's very expensive
Patrick Thomas: Some of the nicest staff in Sheffield, great choice of products too at really good prices. Spent about 20 years going in there but stopped going in due to the security. The problems started when i went in wearing rock band hoodies. As a well educated man in my 40's, it never occurred to me it would make me prime suspect shoplifter number one. I had previously got funny looks for walking straight out of the entrance without buying anything. As i only went in to use the post office, there wasn't any other obvious way to leave the store. The last time i went in, i had a security guard following me around the store with his stupid walkie talkie so the whole store would think i was a criminal. I got annoyed and took out my wallet, took all my cash out (about £1,000) and waved it in his face. He shrugged and walked off. Never been in since. Do all my shopping online now. It may be more expensive, but nobody ever thinks i'm a criminal for browsing the moisturiser.
Linda Trix: Staff friendly ,store clean and tidy. It's a pity that the locality of the store has declined in that part of the city centre .
Heather Walker: Great store. Nice staff.
Patricia Barkworth: Okay but needs more stock
Shailesh Kumar: I bought stuff for my bicycle, post office is also inside and passport photo booth is also available but just outside near bus stop the it's not safe at night because of people smoking weed and other stuff..looks shady outside
Richard Banks: Not bad - plenty of space to move about if you're in a wheelchair or on a mobility scooter. Staff friendly.
Frank Silver: Good shop to buy what you want to buy
Patricia Batty: Lot of items not there but ok
Jeremy Peck: Big shop, all you could need under one roof.
Olusegun Aroyewun: Well stocked store

Homebase - Sheffield Chesterfield Road (including Bathstore): what do users think?
Les Day: Nice store but lack of staff on day we were there.
J H: I love it here
Emma Naylor: Good for most diy things
Lara-Michelle Short: Interesting things
Terry Turner: Impressive showroom, filled with great roomsets and impressive design ideas
Cath Guy: First visit to homebase, found it quite expensive and could get the same at home bargains for less. A nice store and lots of choice.
Mrs Moony: Excellent customer service. Called customer service before visiting to purchase something and received excellent customer service when checking stock. Very friendly and helpful staff
Sargol: Friendly staff
Lara Webster: Loads of choice good value
Steve Rodley: Cheapest Cuprinol Ducksback anywhere...👍🏻
Vera: Not professional personal can cancel your order without reason and don't give explanation ((already happened 2 times deleted my order(((((((
James Sampson: Great place for home and garden improvements.
Christopher Perry: For a Homebase this store is very small. It is also falling apart. The ceiling is missing multiple panels and some aisles were closed because of rain. Staff were milling around the front talking because there was no customers. They were very nice when we asked a question though. We couldn't even find what we needed and went somewhere else. Poor.
Warwick Furness: Limited selection of DIY equipment, I. Managed to get some bits I needed but had to go to b and q to get the rest.
GG Vas: Very friendly and helpful staff.
Heather Summerscales: I'm hoping that for Christmas 2023 homebase brings back the turquoise and sliver wire stars ,I hope they will have other colours too ,I also hope they have remote controlled white fiber optic Christmas trees, and a bigger range of tinsel and baubles,
stewart frost: Got some Christmas decks here half price. Bargain
Sam Denno: Excellent customer service when we returned a tin of paint without the receipt. Dealt with it in a friendly and generous way.
Oliver Wilkinson: DO NOT park your car in their car park past 5pm. The time is now 6:10pm and they've locked my car in here (despite them saying the car park is open until 7:10pm) after I shopped here before nipping next door to dunelm. The sign says the car park is open until 7:10pm but the Dunelm staff told me they lock it up at 6pm everyday and I'm apparently not the first person to have fallen victim to this. Awful service.
Ian Goodwin: Love this shop everything you need to do your diy
David Howkins: Went to buy some storage - they had a good selection and the 2x2 cube unit we bought was on offer (bonus) - been again today and picked up a click and collect - great service

B&Q Sheffield - Penistone Road: what do users think?
Jean Jones: I love going here for plants always manage to get a bargain🙂
Nathan Walsh: It's a B&Q not the cheapest prices but it's handy enough and the staff are really helpful
Alfred Keen: Handy local diy store. Not the biggest and sometimes a little understocked on the diy side. So check online before you go if your wanting plaster cement etc.
Alicia Ali Rishab: Usually find all we need there, good parking and 2 parent bays to park in too which is appreciated!
Luke Green: Often has more option than the bigger b&q in the city, would recommend
Patricia Batty: Didn't go there
Aiden Williams: Bad staff bard me for bit small off cable and staff are glad am bard over abit of cable by lew they should give the person a warning and if they do it again get police Involve they have lost my customer now all together and telling others b&q aswell over bit of cable soon I rang them off the staff said on the phone said good on the phone that I am bard bad staff and Rude I wood never trust them again 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
lee potter: Ripped me off today wrong advertising strimmer wire said it comes with cutter as advertised on the photo on there site came with no cutter. For the same price feel abit chested as id only gone for that one because of the cutter included.
Adam Gardner: Helpful and always plenty in stock
Christopher Lamb: Excellent parking and close to fast food restaurants and shopping precinct..
Gillian McGrath: Went to the store to get some plants for our hanging baskets. We knew we wanted some trailing plants but initially couldn't find any. Eventually asked ALAN, for help, what a help he was, took us to the right area, discussed various plants etc and gave us some great ideas. Also explained about the prices this weekend ie 20% off. He spent awhile with us and was so helpful. We made our choice, said goodbye and made our way to the tills. We'd just paid when Alan came up and said that one of our choices he found in multi colours so we stopped them over. I can only B+Q that this gentleman is a great asset to your store don't lose him.
محمد الكامل: very expensive
John B: good variety of products
Chrissie Heavey: Bought a lamp shade for the ceiling but the rose was not big enough. Straight to B&Q for light fittings. Sorted.
Patrick Mee: It's a typical medium sized B &Q DIY store
kian lee: One use of my paint roller and it broke. I wasn't doing anything extravagant, just painting some drawers and it broke.
amanda Birks: Very friendly helpful staff very knowledgeable always happy to visit this store
Diane Patchett: Quite hard to find what you want and lack of dtaff
laura bonnington: Great choice and very helpful
Garth Revitt: They had everything I needed to get some DIY completed
Deb Loasby: Helpful staff

B&Q Sheffield Drakehouse (Located in Asda): what do users think?
Russ Bradbury: Handy for collecting
Jade Jules: Only a small store but convenient if you need a few bits
Daniel Hunter: CONVENIENT STORE
Penny Simone Bell: The staff was very helpful. not a lot of choice and does stock more than and handful of some items. But ok though
Denise Harris: Small but handy.
Andrew Slack: Great friendly staff
noel mcgrath: Expensive now way too much
Adrian Lee: Too limited a range
DejaunMK: Quite a small selection and a lot of the cheaper items aren't there so you can save money going to a regular sized b&q
Ian Taylor: Good staff. A handy shop if they haven't got it they will get it within 24 hrs if B&Q sell it
Terry Bartholomew: The staff we're really helpful couldn't asked for anything more superb
Anna Zielinska: Really good
EBW&NCWA: Small express store
Walid Adebayo: The place is awesome
VsUK: Photos are misleading & I'd argue not of the same B&Q store. I've never seen such a pointless store in my life. It's small & didn't have anything I needed. It resembles a small family owned hardware store that only has the things you don't need. Certainly not the store for someone looking for building supplies. Maybe a pack of screws, wall plugs & the odd screwdriver.I had to ask the staff at counter, is this it... I'll stick to my normal store in future, only popped in because I was passing.
Tonto Kimosabi: Very helpful staff who sorted out a mistake made by the Sheffield office. Particular appreciation for John who processed the order correctly.
paul grayson: Sells stuff that you need for your home
Roger Searle: 👍👍👍
Brandon Whitham: This is tiny
Daniel Fox: Bought a circular saw from here. Cut my finger open with it. But at least it was a very clean cut. Would recommend their circular saws
Petko: Not a real BQ.
