The Three Tuns, S1: what do users think?

Bob K: Cozy and comfortable joint to get a beer and catch up with friends. The triangular front seating region that is elevated with windows on all sides offers a fun spot to drink. Really enjoyed the Titanic plum porter on cask.

MADDOGLEP: Been here a few times on my way to and from Kelham island. I love sitting in the triangular corner watching the world go by. This is a CAMRA heritage pub serving a range of excellent real ales. I had their house bitter; three tuns. Well worth a visit.

Nicholas Rutter: Recently reopened very clean and very welcoming landlady great place to call into if your this end of town only a short walk from Kelham Island area if you fancy a change live entertainment at the weekend

Laura M: Excellent pub. Good beer, wine selection. Pies are absolutely amazing. Had the steak and ale pie with chips. The pie was delicious with lots of meat and very flavoursome. Staff were all very friendly. The doors are open so lots of air and outside seating too

david watson: A little bit quiet when we visited last Friday 2/09/22. But the staff are very friendly. Excellent DJ. Apparently they do the best chips in their local area. Just off West St. So local workers around Silver St. Get your.selves to The Three Tuns and support your local. Works pub.

mark green: Good old Sheffield pub. Great choice of beers. Called in after finishing work for Christmas. Shame no food was available.

Toni Pequena: Lovely atmosphere and great staff. Did a gig here and was made to feel very welcome. Thanks for a great night guys xx

Philip Walker: An absolute gem of a pub, warm and cosy with traditional feel.Friendly staff and a good selection of beers

Heather J: Had a great time as always been going to this pub since the 80s and it always has a great atmosphere

Sheffield Tap: what do users think?

Bryan Kearney: Great station pub in a beautiful building. Excellent selection of craft beers and sold at decent prices. Friendly staff too. I highly recommend this pub should you ever go to Sheffield.

Aco C. L. Hsu: We both love this pub, right next to the train station. Great selection of ale, stout, and craft beer. Lovely space too!

David Danner: Olde English traditional pub with over 20 beers on tap. Actually adjacent to the train station. One extra ace from the road and another onto the station. At least 2 beers brewed here at the adjacent Tapped Brew Co. More beers in anyone place I have visited in Sheffield!!! Friendly wait staff, will provide samples when requested. Terrific select of beverages. Including tea & coffee. No food here. All on one level, so accessible by wheelchair. Rest

Paula Positivep: What a gem of a place, situated on the train station platform but also a central rear entrance too... Many happy faces, suitcases and locals, very welcoming staff and great selection and price... If your ever traveling near here or visiting Sheffield I recommend here... Wow beautiful old place.

John Gallagher: Good pint of Kentish Cider, very sharp and not too high on the ABV front. Attentive staff, nice atmosphere... What more could an imminent rail user ask for?
Tom Gibson: Great selection of traditional ales. Great venue with nice outdoor seating area in the sun. Ideal starting point for a Sheffield classic pub run
Jeff Llewellyn: Great pub. Located in the old First Class waiting rooms. Lovely venue and brilliant range of beers. Great place to start or end a session if you're travelling via train. Can get busy with lots of after work drinkers but you can usually find a space.
stephen degnan: Awesome selection of beers. Great staff
K. Peake: This was a great pub to visit before catching my train, with a throwback design including the counter and pub logo. The staff were friendly and served me quick; I had a refreshing pint of Berry Cider! Prices were a bit much, although the seating and table were up to standards.
Samantha Samantha: Friendly, polite, efficient staff. Went last thing on a Friday and the seating areas were still reasonably clean and welcoming.Either I was unlucky, or the toilets need checking more regularly, but it was usable. The range of beers here is unusual and varied. If you're a real ale lover then you will appreciate these and good luck trying them all and being able to walk later!
Sian Hopkins-Smith: Loads of beers, massive place which you wouldn't think from the outside
Kevin Scott: Good beers and bigger than I thought.
Clive Walmsley: Super convenient for station and superb beers- what's not to like!
Andy Barker: Alright place. Good selection of beers and service is quick and efficient. Different to a branded vanilla pub chain
Tom causer: Not a bad spot tomiss ya train :-)
Anthony C: Great place, amazing selection of constantly changing ales. If you go here and can't find anything to drink, go tee total because it's not for you.
Kevin Preece: Ask for 3 gin and tonics no gin glasses only wine glasses lack of tonics no ginger beer no standard tonic2nd round no gin glasses no choice of tonics this after a 40 mins gap this at 1800 at night really poor service staff totally dis interestedEmpty glasses all over tables really poor not what I had to come to exspectNo worries wull go elsewhere
Ben Hilbert: Nice place to wait for a train I suppose
Stuart Allen: Good beer selection, Pleasant staff. A bit on the chilly side but tolerable.Apr 2023 update. Situation mch the same.
Mikael Torstensson: Mycket bra pub, bra utbud.
Duncan Wilde: One of the largest selection of draft and bottle beers anywhere. Great old building, with good old Sheffield style. Just can't beat the place for real ale drinkers.
Elysia Kelland: Great service, great beer, great building
Kieran Blogg: I got threatened at the bar and the bar staff turned a blind eye and pretend nothing happened.
Matt Thomas: Really nice and atmospheric pub.
Ger Malcolm: Don’t like old folks here, you won’t get past bouncer!
John Carr (Corinne and John): Excellent pub on Platform 1b of Sheffield Station. Ten cask beers - and 1 cider - on handpump when I visited including a mild and a stout. Was the 1st class refreshment room in days of yore. Big garden with a few tables and chairs to the rear. The pub also hosts a microbrewery "Tapped Brew Co."

Walkabout - Sheffield: what do users think?

BEN SID: Great atmosphere every weekend! The staff are very friendly and helpful, always greeted my and my friends with a smile. The security team look after everyone and keep a safe environment for everyone. The management team do their best to make everyone happy! Couldn’t recommend enough

Sandi Harabin: Lauren and Cat are incredible! So friendly and nice to all customers. Always happy to help and have great drinks suggestions, me and my friends always come back here for the atmosphere and the smiley faced staff

Hannah Watson: Came in for drinks with my friends for some Christmas drinks. The bar staff were very friendly and helped us to pick the best cocktails and explained the deals on shots. Will be back again soon and looking forward to the new years eve party!

Janice Watson: Went in early doors before a gig. Great atmosphere. Staff very friendly and polite. Drinks reasonably priced.Lovely old church building.

Adam: Went for the World Cup match with some friends. Unbelievable atmosphere, great view of plenty of screens and easy to get served. Will be going back for sure.

Lauren Edwards: Great atmosphere, place to be for the footie and the after party always proving strong!
kerene bailey: love walkabout we always end up there on a night out
D M: Walkabout is a great venue for meeting friends and having a bit of a knees up
Stephen Zandrowicz: It is what it is but staff and customers alike were helpful
Stuart Bentley: Attend to watch footy on a Sunday afternoon during break from the snooker. Very random venue....attended several walkabout bars over the years and this appears very basic and run down, we ordered a burger and chips and i wasn't expecting much but in all fairness it was very tasty.staff friendly
chris marrow: Big busy bar
Wesley van Driessen: Nice location, nice place to spend the evening
ivan Ellis: Love this place ,great atmosphere especially when rugby on like the six nations great banter
Joe Davison: Emily at the bar was lovely, and poured a lovely Guinness. She was so friendly and chatty
Mark Simcox: Staff were nice with great amenities, shame theres a part of the clientèle that has loud potty mouths, clearly audibly dropping the c word in front of staff who did nothing to curtail it. We left early because of the potty mouths.
Steve Davis: Was ok a bit packed out when we went in but atmosphere was electric nice venue bit off a wait to get served but was ok
Andrew Thomson: St Patrick's Day/ night, no atmosphere, plastic glasses and for the 4 of us most expensive pub out of the lot we went in, same round about £6 more expensive than the Church House which had a atmosphere 2nd to none, had a live Irish band on and was rammed to the rafters
Ava Clark: We always go to Walkabout to see Cat, she’s our favourite! Sweetest girl in the world 💚
Kai Allen: Its brilliant place
Owen Kynman: Great place 👍

Beth Howell: Charley was very lovely, a great server would come again :)

The Head of Steam Sheffield: what do users think?

MADDOGLEP: Large bar next to the Crucible. We wondered when the World Championship snooker starts. Next day apparently so they only served in plastic. Assume snooker fans get rowdy. Very noisy as a disco was on. Large central bar. The real ale selection however is fantastic. I had a best bitter from Hops and Dots brewery. New one for me. County Durham I believe.

Michael Dixon: Really good pub food ( burgers/hot wings etc) with fantastic Yorkshire, UK and European beer selection. Very spacious seating and big outdoor seating area. Bar staff friendly. Good place for food in the city centre

Paul Johnty Johnson: Triple burgers, ace assault on taste buds...Best tasting yet and chips god dam lovely..every beer u can think of and so many..too chose...loads of space too sit in or out, great staff and great service...definitely...see u soon x worth every penny x

Mark Hoad: Good service and a great range if beers. This burger is an into the furnace. Also I like the sauce shop sauces gives a bit more premium feel

Gwendoline Shirtliff: Lively pub, good mix of ages amongst patrons. Good selection of drinksOnly criticism was, cold night & all doors pegged open so was freezing at the tables near the doors. Which were the only empty ones. Should have first door open & inner door closed where possible.

Rob Sheeran: Good choice of craft beers and different lagers so I would definitely recommend. Nice atmosphere as well. Only went for a couple before visiting O2 accademy as it is probably closest decent pub to it. Great also if you are going to the Crucible or Lyceum Theatres.
Joan Mangle: Not all staff but one female bar staff needs training on bar service. After waiting for 20 minutes she decides not to serve waiting customers but goes straight over to just walked up to the bar customers. She only served us because some new customers said we were before them.
Ian Blackwell: Good selection of real ale available, well worth a visit if that is your tipple of choice.
Francesca Tinker: Gorgeous food, brilliant atmosphere, friendly staff and an excellent array of beers and cocktails.
Simon Bennett: Good bar lots of hand pulled beers and all the usual, good for the sport and the food looked brilliant.
Andrew Brown: Superb venue whilst the snooker is on. (Don’t know about normally, can only comment on this time!)Quick service, an excellent selection of lagers, ales and gins. The menu has some of the best plant based options I’ve seen for a pub and the food was excellent, far better than a normal pub grub.Staff were amazing, friendly helpful and even let us plug in a phone behind the bar as we didn’t have a cable. They also had a magician going around doing tricks for people who were interested. Checked that we factually wanted to see some tricks first or would have left us alone to our drinks. Great fun, taking the mick out of himself and his act this was a really nice touch. Will definitely visit again.
Jane Fisher: Love this place wish the bottles of wine were cheaper...
Sue Lumb: Great pub, big place! Lots of outdoor seating. Food looked nice although we didn't eat there but we enjoyed some drinks while watching snooker on an outside screen. Loved it in there, very cool place
Colin Mcalpine: Good ,selection of beers. Plenty of seating
Oliver Wilson: Great bar, great beer selection and a great atmosphere.
Samantha Samantha: Sat outside here to watch the snooker on the big screen, but didn't actually buy a round so didn't see how it has changed in the last few years... There are picnic table and bench seats with parasols on a pleasant pedestrianised square. It isn't posh in any shape or form, but perfect to watch the snooker on the big screen!
Alex Albertini: Good music, friendly staff and incredible selection of beers.
Kerry Moon: Used to love head of steam. Now it's just over priced and a little underwhelming.
Amy Linton: You need to get a new music system. Paying for djs and it sounding terrible. Could do better. Good drinks choice. Nice decor. Bad music was pretty loud during the day didn't fit the vibe. Made this a 2 star rating.
Marina Zelenoy: It's a good pub, but it does get very busy at times.
Matt Hicks: Was one of my favorite pubs in the Sheffield city center. Decent beer selection. Terrific menu with vegetarian options. Beer prices are high, especially compared to the Brown Bear next door.Recently visited and was charged $15.99 for a small gyros on the lunch menu. Unbelievable price gouging due to the snooker next door. Used to be inexpensive but I can no longer recommend. There are far better options in town in the same or better class categories.
Tammy Eaton: Always come here everyday year great manager the best ever
Ludger Koslowski: Nice place to whatch the snooker worldchampionship semi final. Very good beer, nice audience
Alison Silcock: Meal for 6 and cocktails on Saturday afternoon. Enjoyed the food, the magician ( Greg )and the service was very good. We preordered so was served on time.
RoarR. S.: Tolles Lokal....coole Bar....perfekt zum Sport schauen.👍
Julian Donaldson: Good food great staff and they have a chess board nice place to go
Francis Murphy: This place is a stone's throw from the crucible - I am here during the snooker semi final and they turned off the snooker and put on the football - shocking during the world championship. Also the food menu is only OK (which I wouldn't have cared about if the snooker was on!)

Extra Time Sports Bar & Grill: what do users think?

Richard Perry: Never been here before and when I walked in it felt like an amusement arcade which sold drinks. I presume that is the vibe that it is supposed to create. Very good selection of beers and other drinks. Quite lively, mainly younger people. A couple of large shuffle boards, which looked fun, plus pool tables and a basketball game on the ground floor. I did not try the food but it looked okay, if a little costly. My group had a good time and I would go here again.

Neil Boote: First time going in but a good atmosphere with football on the screens and sports to play around the venue. Although it was busy, the service was good so getting served never felt like that long. Would go again.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

The Brown Bear: what do users think?
Sarah Bartov: Good, inexpensive beer, wonderful, unique atmosphere, highly recommend!!
John Smith: Orhanic lager nice pint old fashioned pub
Christopher Hara: The one aspect of the bar is no electronic devices, you can talk , very nice bar and very friendly
AnneMarie Chamberlain: Great little pub for a night out, no music or other distractions so you can just sit and chat.
Nigel P: No phones allowed. Pathetic if you’re on your own having a quick pint. Nothing to look at except the miserable landlady. Won’t return. I was allowed to pay using my phone though…
Karl Smedley: Nice pub...nice to sit in a pub where phones etc are not allowed as well as swearing ..encourages people to talk
Liz L: It's a really lovely traditional Sheffield pub. Recommended if you like chat not IT devices
Peter Page-Mitchell: Excellent staff and superb interior. Very good beer!
Darren Hyndman: Great pub, clean, good prices, centrally located. However, the single worst customer's possible. I have never felt more uncomfortable and unwelcome by the people who frequent this establishment. I took my phone out of my pocket and put it on the table. Two customers instantly pulled me up. I wasn't even making a call. A great pub spoiled by elderly phone police. Do not enter if you live in the 21st century. My review is for the customers, not the pub. Avoid if your under 50 and have a life. This place has a no phone use rule. The perfect brexit voters pub. Very white and elderly. First and last visit. If I could give a minus review for the customer's then I would.
griddywinks: Mobile free area - it's a nice idea. Did see someone get shouted out for having their phone out because they didn't know about it's. Seemed a bit unsure when I please put your phone away would have done. It's seems a bit of a locals pub. It's not a nice inside.
Christine Burke: I love it in here. Very traditional. No phones. Good prices. Tried to take a photo, but dropped my wine glass in the process! Well worth a visit.
Jillian Parkinson: Proper pub!! Excellent.
Jim Ward: No mobiles allowed. Brilliant for all except millennials
Na Omi: No wheelchair access
ivan Ellis: Never changes, thank god a real pub.
Philip Lamb: Was too scrared to get my phone out to pay as I assumed that this was not allowed and ended up paying for 3 pints instead of two as I am no longer used to using cash.
Kim Rydelewski: Our husbands favourite because of how cheap the drinks were 😂😂But it was lovely and cosy with excellent staff.
marc dunks: Very good place to have a drink
Stephen Baillie: Traditional pub, centrally located. Clean and nice decor. Very good service. Customers encouraged not to sit on their phones, which was refreshing.
Steve Davies: Needs some life
Matt Keen: Cracking hidden gem of an inner city pub with great Sam Smith ales and real fires.

The Big Gun: what do users think?
James Morphet: Cheap pint. Old pub in need of a bit of TLC and a toilet door. Staff are friendly enough as are the locals.
Jeff Sheffield: Awesome little pub, fantastic people, fantastic atmosphere as well...the owners were very very friendly and ornery in a fun way...lol...thank you Julia and Teddy
sue gray: Clientele we're friendly but place was cold and expensive and a bit rough.
Shawn Torrance: Ĵust passing through and was made to feel very welcome proper pub
Michael Warner: Fairly run down in prominent Asian restaurants area
Kyle Wilson: Nice boozer was here 3 years ago with work mates pool table slot machine and good banter
Lee Shentall: Very poor place to have a brink avoid at all costs
Douwi Stewart: Very traditional pub.
Mark Pearson: Great night.
Tim woolven: This guy is always at the big Gun think they named it after him
Rachel Labas: Had a fantastic time at the karaoke night. The staff and locals made us feel very welcome and we will certainly be returning. If you're planning a visit then it's cash only.
Robbie Williams: FIRST CLASS...GREAT PINT. GREAT CRAIC
Craig Johnston: It's 2021 & they don't take card. Ridiculous behaviour.
Jon Sams: Decent pint proper pub with proper people
Kathy H.: Lovely area, disappointing to find no cafes open for coffees, soft drinks. We didn't want alcohol from the puns there.
Jane Bailey: Our local pub whilst staying at air bnb for tramlines music festival. So glad we went for a few drinks and game of pool. Very reasonably priced drinks tho limited selection. Obvs a locals pub but we were made to feel welcome. Give an old school independent pub some business to stop them closing down!
Alan Devine: A pub serving a standard range of beers. No hand pumped beers but it's a friendly pub with a traditional atmosphere.
Kevin Hanson: Having a family weekend break (6 of us) we dropped into the Big Gun on Friday night for a drink, ended up stopping 3 hours, fantastic night made very welcome by everyone, infact we went back Saturday night, This is a proper pub can't wait for my next visit.

Barry's Bar: what do users think?
Damien Martin: Pool table was out of order, amazing dance floor!
hugo dog: Called in the bar last night to see my old friend Baz, we have know him from the very first day he opened ( approx 22 years) . I was hungry, and asked if he could feed me, what you want he said, the usual rice and ox tail plus a couple of his famous patties, this was a takeaway, and it did not disappoint.I asked Barry to do me a batch of meat and veg patties ( for the freezer) always good to have in, it was a allways good to see him, and can't wait to go back and collect my order... Tomas
Ian Potter: Terrible service
Paul Andrews: Proper pub
James Magill: I discovered Barry's bar with my partner and daughter while visiting Sheffield and found it to be an absolute gem of a pub! Serves probably the best Jamaican food I have ever had! Absolutely delicious! Great pint too. Barry is super cool and friendly as we're the other patrons and we were made to feel very welcome. The bar itself was very comfortable with an authentic Jamaican vibe. Great tunes too! I'd highly recommend the place. lm really looking forward to my next visit. Much love:)
RawJola: Such a lovely staff at bar. Thank you for the cuppa x
Mira Toncar: Really nice local pub with nice selection of drinks with friendly staff.
Jordan Kennedy: lovely owner and a quality selection of Jamaican beverages and cuisine
northylad1: Wow. Brilliant bar. Keeping to the Jamaimcan vibe.
Sammy Perry: Lovely place, cosy, warm and friendly and Barry is really warm and welcoming. Serves delicious Caribbean food and plays reggae music, if you want a nice relaxed vibe, Barry's bar is the one.
Van Zandt: Called in sat evening very quiet but it was relatively early I would expect it to liven up later pint of red stripe and a Jamaican pattie was rather nice!
Albert “Albertphotos” StClair: Nice caribbean pub
Wendi: Picking up a takeaway and having a drink whole we wait
Alexander Thornton: Best Gunniess ive ever had and the lamb patty was great, all just for £5 - thanks barry
James Roberts: Best atmosphere for a pub in town. Great staff
Jim Frodsham: Great experience and nice to see a classic bar experience. Not a restaurant where you can buy a pint but a proper boozer. The landlord Barry is a top bloke. Looking forward to visiting again in the near future.
Jack Bryan: Unreal gaff
Elizabeth Davis-Fowell: Do you like hostile patrons, angry staff and flat beer?Kid-friendliness: It isn't.
Rory McVicar: A review of a memory from many years ago. First up: the sign on the door saying "What you do here, what you see here, what you say here, when you leave here, let it stay here, or don't come back here." Good first impression (clear guidance flaunted in this review). Next: the family watching Poltergeist 2 on a telly in the corner of the bar. Now we're talking. Then, the jukebox - calypso/celtic crossover tunes like "No more beer / so severe" and "I want to dance with a big fatty woman". Capped off with serious pool playing in the back. The maddest bar I have been to in my life. Highly recommended.
Emma Scully: Grubby little place, don't go here if you like to feel safe on a night out because the guys who go here are creepy
Amy Mcmillan: Love the place no trouble good music great bbq food

Old Queen's Head: what do users think?
Keith Monks: Good local
Alice Boot: Quiet and cosy, having changed hands a number of times the atmosphere seems to be losing its cosiness, and the food quality has dropped significantly over the past few months as a number of people have come and gone. I suspect lower quality ingredients and a number of items being reheated or prepackaged - its a long drop from when I was first a regukar here with fresh pizzas, honeycake, and good belly filling food. With it being up to let again, I'm not confident this rating is going to stay if the pattern continues.
Becky B: Food is good, but please clean the place. Toilets look like they haven't been touched in months.
Martyn Worsdale: Great food
Vicky Precious: Staff didn't appear to have a record of our booking. Service was okay, food not bad but nothing spectacular either. Not sure we will bother again
Alastair Springate: Love old pub
Steven Roffe: Nice pub... worth visiting on a sunday morning
Emma Weatherstone: Love how traditional this pub is very homely just abit pricey but like it none the less
Max M: Went for a lunchtime meal, it was really excellent. Beautiful pub and the food was delicious (a really nice chicken burger & chips which were hot) for about £6.50! We did not have to wait long. Thank you.
nicole pickford: A real shame it used to be a great place to have drinks. Now it's dirty with mice running about and the staff look at them as if there pets.

David Taylor: Lovely little pub friendly staff well worth going to
Paul Bedford: Proper pub. Great beers and great value food.
Roy Bentley: Pleasant place for a few quiet beers.
