Susan Grindle: This place is massive nearly got lost🤭 went to look at display cabinets. I had seen some on line but went to see some in the flesh so to speak. What i like is they do the displays so it looks like a room it gives you great ideas. Has a large cafe and at least 2 sets of loos. Upstairs is mostly displays , the ground floor is the shopping bit and there is everything you could want to set up a home and i thought it was reasonably priced. Could do with more signs to find your way out but i suppose the more you go the more you know where to go 😄
chr: Decent hangout spot to get new furniture for an affordable price. Nice range of selections. However, the food is inconsistent, the meatballs are always good but I tried the salmon once and it came with a horrendous side. It looked like pesto and barley… and I’m still not quite sure what it was… It was so bad, it smelled and tasted like plastic, I could not physically swallow it. On a positive note though, the salmon and the dill sauce were good. So other than expanding my flavour profile, the trip was pleasant.
Daniel Booth: Huge IKEA store that is very modern, bright and clean throughout. Good store with a good atmosphere and friendly staff. As per usual the restaurant and the takeaway food offerings were brilliant value for money and tasty. Enjoy coming here.

The cafe is mainly self service but well organised and very cheap the coffee is really good. Easy to get a little confused with the layout only due to the size of the store.

Jeff Deveaux (HG): The goods and products from IKEA are very good and most often competitively priced but visiting the stores (for me) is a nightmare. The last store I went in, I ended up coming out of the emergency exit because I couldn't cope with following the arrows and not going to look at what I wanted. On this occasion, I went to collect some "furniture items" with my teenage grand sons and I waited in the car listening to Andrea Bocelli. The boys messaged me to say they were at the loading area so I drove over and parked. Unfortunately I was parked under 3 speakers that were emitting an awful noise, even the boys thought it was awful. In addition we had to cope with trolley people pushing loads of trolleys, the din from the wheels was ear shattering. Trying to communicate with the boys how to load their purchases was neigh on impossible due to the noise. For me, if I never visit IKEA again it will be too soon. Shopping on-line is the way to go :-)
Darren Harley: Normal ikea stuff as you would expect. Easy to get to, easy to park. Store layout is over a couple of floors making it a little annoying if looking at different things.

Had something to eat in the cafe, very tasty and came away with a number of books which are donated and sold for £1 to raise funds for charity. Brilliant idea. The staff were friendly and helpful. The item I went in for was out of stock but we will definitely be back again.

David and Jax Parkin: Just called in Dunelm Mill store for a new clothes basket and came out with 6 x cushions, a bedroom stool, a flickering candle and some artificial ivy 🤣 oh dear, im a shopaholic I think. They have some lovely Christmas decorations and lots of gift ideas. Prices are reasonable. I could spend a fortune, whoops I have.

Caroline Gardner: We went mainly for the cafe to meet up with family members. A lovely spotlessly clean cafe with pleanty of room and pleasant surroundings. They have an amazing choice of delicious cakes and pastries and the coffee and hot chocolate is fab. Its my new favouite meet up place.

The assistant informed me it hadn’t even been ordered yet my money had been taken, she suggested ordering another one but I decided to have a refund and go somewhere else. I got in touch with the head office but I haven’t had a reply from them either. I won’t be using this company again!

V Heath: I ordered made to measure curtains in Moon Aspen 100% wool fabric, triple pinch pleat header - good choice as they look amazing. Very impressed with the quality, both my curtains and the matching cushions are very well made, with quality stitching and workmanship. The service was professional from start to finish and they were delivered quickly and within the promised timescale. I would not hesitate to use Bryella again.

sarah jayne Scott: Usually this is my favourite go too store but they seem to be struggling with essentials stock at the moment. Lots of empty shelves on my last visit. But may have just been due to them replenishing christmas stock. Prices have also increased quite a bit too which is disappointing. But staff are helpful and polite. Store is always clean and well laid out.

I only have one complaint there are never enough tills open and the queues can be a nightmare.

Christopher Perry: For a Homebase this store is very small. It is also falling apart. The ceiling is missing multiple panels and some aisles were closed because of rain. Staff were milling around the front talking because there was no customers. They were very nice when we asked a question though.We couldn't even find what we needed and went somewhere else. Poor.

The sign says the car park is open until 7:10pm but the Dunelm staff told me they lock it up at 6pm everyday and I'm apparently not the first person to have fallen victim to this. Awful service.

Geoff Ancliff: We recently purchased carpets from Ponsfords and the service was just perfect. The fitters (Graham and Connor), were polite and excellent at their job. (Thanks for the special finish on the bottom step Connor, it looks lovely). They were so good at finishing everything off I didn’t even have to vacuum! Thanks also to fitters Dave, Paul & Will who jumped in to help on the second day to ensure that the job was finished on time. Our carpets look amazing, thank you. We would never buy our carpets from anywhere else.

Barbara Mitchell: 12 months ago, I purchased a 3 piece suite from Ponsfords. I have always shopped for furniture here as I can usually rely on good quality furnishings. However, on this occasion the 3 piece suite was of an inferior quality. The foam , although not faulty, was of a poor quality and within weeks the cushions were sagging and looked as if it was 10 years old rather than new. I complained to Ponsford's and they contacted the manufacturers and they replaced the foam with what was supposed to be superior quality foam. Within weeks the cushions had deteriorated again and were looking old and saggy. Again I spoke to Ponsfords who gave me the name of an independent upholsterer, who I contacted and had the foam replaced with a superior quality foam at the cost of £348.00, which I am extremely satisfied with. I spoke to Ponsfords after this and asked if they would contribute towards the replacement cost. I was told that as the foam was not faulty they would not give any re-imbursement. I am unhappy that Ponsford's are now selling furnishings of such inferior quality and I shall not be shopping with them again.

They took great care of our furniture and helped use replace all the furniture we had removed prior to the carpet fitting. Carpets all cleaned by them and all rubbish taken away. Would certainly recommend Ponsford.

graham wild: Sad faced sales women behind the counter.... bought some fence panel paint and it was more fun watching it dry than watching the sad faced sales assistants behind the counter that sold it to me ...they should stay in the kitchen and burn the husband's tea if they husband's is unfortunately married to these sour faced women

kailash ravuri: Usual homebase for your diy needs, the place also have a garden centre which is an addon if you looking for it. The place also has dulux decoration centre with various other paint brands. There is ample of parking spaces as it is crystal peaks retail park.
Nicola Whitham: Visited to buy wallpaper and paint for daughters room and was told if she changes her mind we can return. Came In to return at a later date and didn't have a receipt so was told to wait while the lady served everyone else, then was told "well I don't know if you even paid as you don't have a receipt" I explained I wanted an exchange and the lady said no and implied I'd stolen it but then mentioned how I did not buy it all together (i did but she wouldn't know eitherway because she did not serve me) I explained it was part of a very large shop where I'd also bought a few other items and the bill was nearly £200 but I only wanted to exchange the paint and paper for alternatives . At time of purchase I wasn't told a time limit or reciept only for exchange. I won't ever shop here again as the lady wasted so much of my time and it was so embarrassing. There was no need for her to be so rude . I use this shop alot, the other staff are usually polite and helpful but her behaviour has put me off returning. So unprofessional
