sadie purcell: The plants I received look really great and healthy, I’m very happy with them, the local delivery service is really good, I would definitely order from here again!
Alexander Fieldsend: A genuine service, executed precisely and honestly. You couldn't go to many garden centres and ask for a specific species of plant and they go to the effort to order it in for you. (or at least they usually make out they will)Mark and Gisela went that extra mile for me and ordered me some Thalictrum Delaveyi 'Hewitts Double'. All this through Facebook messenger.Once they established that they had it in stock I used their secure online payment system through their website, and opted to collect it myself.Their premises is their own home so don't be worried when you land in a residential area. It's got a lovely oak garage door. When I went inside the premises there was a lovely lady who offered my little girl some grapes from their vines and was very enthusiastic about her plants/products.Like I said, a great overall experience!!Strongly recommend if your looking for some of the rarer herbaceous perennials.

the potting shed: what do users think?

Karine Nohr: Great little Nursery, with good range for its small size, and friendly advice. Sourcing peat-free plants. All plants that I have bought there have done well. Part of a youth development charity that runs nature based projects to promote wellbeing, reduce isolate and develop employability skills in young people, so worth supporting on those grounds too.

Rebecca M: Lovely little plant nursery with a great selection. Buying online and picking them up in person worked really well and you can even get some advice on the best location for your new plants.

Caroline King: Great service! Lovely plants and quick turnaround.

Ferndale Garden Centre Sheffield: what do users think?
Crispin Barton: A really good garden centre with a great cooked breakfast option at the cafe!
Andrea Tait: Service bad ,toast missing from breakfasts,Sunday dinners cold,no call back to see how our food was ,will not go back waste of time and money .
Andrew Slack: Visit regularly and always a good meal there
Katie M: I've been coming to this garden centre for yours and looked forward to bringing my toddler.Having visited over the weekend I'll not be going back anytime soon. There are new tables in the outdoor area of the cafe however they are somewhat ridiculous. There's a curve on them so be warned if you put anything on them. As plates and cups will slide off! Then I attempted to try and look at the plants. This was pretty impossible. I'd put my little girl in a trolley to keep her amused and out of trouble yet unless I wanted to take her out the trolley that wouldn't push along the gravel it meant I couldn't view 80% of the plants available. When trying to make a quick exit I then saw a fellow spraying weedkiller everywhere.Incredibly disappointing overall in this climate of accessibility.
Diane Temple: The external of the centre doesn't reflect the interior. Great indoor plant section, gift shop, outdoor plants and cafe with great service
Steve Thornton: Excellent service.
Jan Hedge: Friendly place, friendly people, knowledgeable service, especial thanks to Alison
Alan Piper: We are regular visitors to Ferndale. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The coffee shop is excellent, great food and a wide range of drinks. They are just stocking up with new Spring bulbs, plants etc recommend a visit.
Judith Birju: Very poor compared to the other garden centres in the area. The range of plants seemed quite limited. Used the coffee shop but it was quite cramped and extremely noisy. Don't think I will be back any time soon.
Tanzil Shafique: Fabulous fish and chips now, on top of being a great garden center and cafe.
Jenny Sloan: Lovely place, helpful staff
Iona Tenner: Best scones in the world!
gobbl degoop: Good selection of quality plants and gardening supplies, but can be on the expensive side so worth comparing on some occasions. Items on offer are usually very good value.
Zinc Alloy: As always - got exactly what we wanted - seems to have got the garden centre balance just about right. I like this place around Christmas time especially but anytime works for me too 👍
Laura Coleman: Lovely garden centre, becoming a regular visitor with the bestie
David Wilson: Definitely a centre for gardens
Peter Sheedy: Very good had coffee and cake went round garden part lovely enjoyed
rodney stuart: Always seem to have what we want .staff really helpfull.
Janet Richardson: Large selection of plants. Coffee Shop very busy serving delicious food
Cheryl Parrett: Shopping for a birthday gift, wonderful 😊
Angela Goodwin: The 2 stars are for the cafe I'm afraid to say. Called in today with mum for a spot of lunch. It was busy and I had a look round for a table there was one being cleaned by a member of staff great I thought we have a table how wrong I was.We were stood just inside the entrance the table not far away. A member of staff came matching over and said if your waiting for a table can you wait outside (please and thankyou would have been nice) I replied that we were waiting for the said table to be cleared to which she replied this gentleman (who was inside the cafe not waiting outside) is before you!!Not a great attitude for customer service. Needless to say we didn't stay and gave New Leaf our money. Perhaps during busy times a polite notice at the entrance to the cafe advising people to wait to be seated.

Seeds to Stars Daycare Nursery: what do users think?
Stacey Wheatley: Positive:Quality,ReliabilityMy daughter started here recently and she loves it. She always comes out so happy and excited. The staff are all lovely. Overall our experience has been good so far. I would definitely recommend this nursery ☺️
Zoe Spivey: Really lovely nursery, my daughter loves to go, ample parking, lovely outside play area, bright airy rooms, staff seem really relaxed with the children, great communication. My daughter is happy when I drop her off and happy when I pick her up. I would highly recommend this gem of a nursery.
Alisha Khan: My children go to the nursery they settled in really well they love going they have the best time when they are there they love the outside area too and the staff are very friendly and settle the children really well if needed definitely recommend to others
Kevin Ogbuage: My daughter goes here and she loves it She settled in straight away and happily goes every morning (such a relief as problems with previous nursery) she enjoys the food and raves about the outside area. The staff are always plesent and my daughter says they are very kind.
Matt Price: Positive:Professionalism,QualityOur son has been at the nursery for over a year now and has settled really well. Always comes home happy and the staff are great at keeping us up to date with his activities and progress
Romina Jerez G: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueOur daughter loves this nursery. She has lots of friends, enjoys going so much she asks to go on the weekends 🤣. Staff is caring and professional.
Dalal A: My son has been attending this daycare for the past months.Spacious (like no other place I viewed). There is an outdoor space. Staff are friendly and adaptable and flexible if issues arise.
Neil K: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,Value
billiejo macdonald: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,Valuebrilliant nursery, my daughter is really enjoying her days here. The staff are so helpful and accommodating. Great communication between staff and parents. lovely open plan playrooms, excellent outdoor play space too. a hidden gem!
Bare Birthing: My 14 month old is very happy at Seeds to Stars! The staff are great, always happy smiling faces and give great updates of what she’s been up to throughout the day. The outdoor play area is particularly great and parking is really easy for drop off and pick up!
Madelaine Hoskin: My daughter has been attending Seeds to Stars since December 2020, and after a year at home with just myself and my husband, she was very clingy at first. The staff were great, very reassuring with us and always welcomed her with warmth and affection. We received updates on the Tapestry app so we knew what she was up to and that she'd quickly settled after we'd dropped her off.Now only 8 weeks later, she loves going to nursery. She smiles and waves as we leave her and goes quickly off to play. Obviously we can't go in and see her playing at the moment, but from photos we can see the range of activities and resources is fantastic. It's nice to not have to worry about crafts and messy play at home, because we know she gets lots of this at nursery. The staff always make time to speak to us and let us know how her day has been and what she has been enjoying, how long her nap was etc. The communication is extremely reliable and if I ever need anything I simply email and get a response very quickly. On the occasions where we have had to make changes to our week and have her in nursery for an extra day or swapped a day here and there, the team have been extremely flexible.Knowing that our daughter is having a great time at nursery and is being so well looked after makes our lives so much easier. I would definitely recommend Seeds to Stars.
pim haigh: My son have a very good time at Seeds to Stars Daycare Nursery, Such an amazing place nice and clean and full of activities for the children to learn and play! staffs are very caring and professional I highly recommened! and I'll bring my son back again thank you very much for give him such a good time.
