TILLEYS VINTAGE MAGAZINE SHOP: what do users think?
Rod Laughton
Rod Laughton: Made a special journey today (Friday, 22nd Feb, 2019). The shop door shutter was up but the door locked. Hung around and knocked twice and phoned but no reply at 11.15 am (shop claims to open at 11 am). However, there was a car parked outside, the number plate of which suggested it belonged to the owner, so I assumed someone was in. I was just going to GIVE the shop the FIRST 200 issues of a late 1970s UK boys’ comic... gratis... but they can go in the recycling now! Very disappointed. (I have edited this review at the owner’s request as a courtesy and make no comment on the quality or nature of his business or products. However, my comments above are an accurate record of my visit and serve to illustrate my disillusionment from making a half hour trip on public transport and a half hour walk to the shop after coming across the shop and a good review online).
The Master Trollz
The Master Trollz: Do you sell batman comics please because I am looking for these comics and not many shops sell them.

Matthew Fooks
Matthew Fooks: A wide range of manga and comics at pretty reasonable prices. Staff are really friendly and happy to help, I can absolutely recommend this place.
pokemaster2331
pokemaster2331: Very large selection both of comics and manga. It seems to be that they have only a few volumes of a series in order to have more series, as the shop itself is rather small. Nonetheless, they will order in ones that are not in the shop, which is a useful service. Also worth keeping an eye on their clearance section. Furthermore, they have a decent selection of merchandise and a wide range of CDs. It is a little cramped though, so try to avoid busy times, or else looking at the items may be difficult. Could also do with some reorganization
BENMAN ZXL11
BENMAN ZXL11: a damn great shop, 10/10

Kirsty Linacre
Kirsty Linacre: plenty of manga to choose from.
RenegadeFox
RenegadeFox: The best place for manga if you're looking for somewhere in the Sheffield city centre area, and the first store I started my anime and manga craze from. It was a few years since my last visit, but was glad to return during the New Year to see they were still trading. Of course, they don't just cater to those who enjoy anime and manga, and have an excellent selection of comics, books and some choice items of memorabilia, both near the counter and at the back of the store. If you're looking for something in particular that they don't have in stock, be sure to chat with the friendly staff. Oxfam Bookshop: what do users think?
Aparajita S
Aparajita S: Small, quaint second hand bookstore in Sheffield City Centre on the main road. Very helpful young ladies at the reception. The entry is level and i faced no problems going in with a pram. Steps inside. In the front of the shop are some books, a dvd collection and a vinyl collection. Some other items as well such as containers, cups, scarves. Inside is a properly labelled section containing a decent collection of books. Nice shop.
Sooraj Ashraf
Sooraj Ashraf: Really cosy and cute book stall. I use to volunteer here. My colleagues are amazing.
india
india: I love this bookshop, don’t think I’ve ever walked out without buying anything! Great range of genres from classics to contemporaries, all quite fairly priced. Small music section and the usual Oxfam bits at the front, loads of books in the back.
Brigitta Hoffmann
Brigitta Hoffmann: The schedule for Christmas was not updated on the Google map, and we came on Monday but it was closed, :(. It would be nice to have the schedule as it 8s for holidays updated too,
Abby Mason (abception)

Dain Smart
Dain Smart: So surprised to see a book and record shop as a charity shop very good for students and the other learned person
Just Jaye
Just Jaye: I gave an extra star because there are a lot of books but they can be quite pricey for a charity shop. They have resold books that were already priced from other second hand shops at half the price they're charging (or more than half the price sometimes). I've even seen the same books that cost the same or less brand new from places like the Works. I know it's for charity but if you're on a budget are you really going to pay more for a used book that you could get brand new for the same price or less??
Lucy Branford-White
Lucy Branford-White: Respectable Oxfam shop specialising in books especially.
Jason Leigh
Jason Leigh: One of the cheaper Oxfam stores
Peter Marley
Peter Marley: A very good book shop, especially if you are in university A's this shop caters specifically for students.

Oxfam: what do users think?
J Mast
J Mast: Too expensive.
india
india: Nice charity shop, best for books which are all justly priced but not the cheapest. I’ve found some good ones in here, usually within a great range of genres and all in good nick. Lots of quality furniture but never been too impressed with the clothes selection, often a bit pricey too.
Gabe Brown
Gabe Brown: A wonderful variety of stuff
David Stacey
David Stacey: Visited today to donate some valuable electical items and lady on reception was quite rude and no thank you either. May donate somewhere else next time.
Rose Bryant
Rose Bryant: Avoid. This charity shop seems to have lost touch with what a charity shop is and fancies itself as a bit of an antiques store it used to be great this time last year. The furniture is great and fairly priced but anything other than that is so overpriced and half of the stuff is in bad condition. £10 for a used supermarket mug? So sad that they seem to have forgotten what a charity shop is about.
Tim Logan
Tim Logan: Great selection. Very helpful and polite staff.
Maria Dixon
Maria Dixon: I was not impressed when I visited this Oxfam branch. Whilst browsing, a lady tried to pay for her items but her card failed several times before payment was successful. The sales assistant was polite to the lady but as soon as the lady left, started talking badly about her with a colleague. There was no one at all in the queue so I thought this was very unfair. When I approached the till, I pointed out that the packet of socks I wanted to buy only contained five socks. I was not offered a discount but was told I would have to "hop around" by the sales assistant who had just been rude about the other customer behind their back. I presume this was a joke. The sales assistant implied that I was pedantic and silly to point out that there was one sock missing. However, I would expect a discount to be offered or that this shop checks how many socks are in a packet before putting them on a shelf (there would be no problem in them just selling four socks as two pairs - that would be more professional).
Just Jaye
Just Jaye: Okay. Could be better. But big store with lots of things to look at.
June Shaw
June Shaw: We love going into our local shop. We like to support it by giving and buying. They always have lots of good books and maps . And you never know what you will find in there. :)
Peter Price
Peter Price: Best charity shop around
Jayne Garner-cottam
Jayne Garner-cottam: Nice stuff good social distancing and hygiene
Samuel Timson
Samuel Timson: The shop is brilliant, and would really recommend it for the wide variety of second hand books. HOWEVER, one worker who appeared to be the manager had very poor communication skills, not giving anyone any warning about the closing time, and became quite hostile quite quickly. Honestly at a time like this I am a bit disappointed by her actions.
Noha Bayoumy
Noha Bayoumy: Unfortunately, the salesperson was rude to me.
Eliot Collins
Eliot Collins: One of the best charity shops in Sheffield. A wide range of second hand books, clothes and furniture in good condition.Prices are often very reasonable, and there are regular sales.
Carolyn Keer
Carolyn Keer: Helpful and friendly staff, good atmosphere, a great place to volunteer
Thomas Rattican
Thomas Rattican: It's gooooodddd
Peter Marley
Peter Marley: It's a great place for quality second hand goods, and if you like books,it has a good book department which is worth the trip by itself, it's not the cheapest of charity shops, but if quality is your thing it's the place to go to, I've had some amazing finds there.
Olivia Butcher Chapman
Olivia Butcher Chapman: The shop has a great range of items for brilliant prices. The layout of the shop floor is amazing for disabled and wheelchair users would find it impossible to get around the shop.
Gilberto Miglio
Gilberto Miglio: Wonderful occasions.
