Lee Smith: Great friendly brothers who own the place. Very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They will spend as much time as you want, to give you the advice you need. Always a good stock of food etc. Not got a massive amount of reptiles to buy due to size limitations of the shop, but would do all they can to get in whatever you need at a reasonable price. Some good deal packages to be had if you buy the whole setup from them, or their quality second hand products.
KieKie Harrison: An amazing place to go if your seeking any new additions to the family, they range in all different types of reptiles and really friendly staff and really good prices, If you ever find yourself seeking advice on any type of reptiles (even if you havnt bought from them) not a problem they are always willing to help out!

James Wood: I’ve been looking for a Hog Island Boa for months, and I went to Snakes N Adders today on the off chance they had some in. After having a look around Pixie asked if there was anything in particular I was looking for and when I told her she said she had some baby’s in the back! Pixie was so helpful and knew the answers to every question I asked about the snakes history ect so I purchased a stunning female, can’t wait to pick her up in October! Would 100% recommend these guys and their extremely diverse stock lists.
Craig Trembath: Great shop and excellent staff. Visited the shop today to get my daughter her first tortoise, the shop had everything we need and more. The member of staff who looked after us “chaz”couldn’t do enough to help. He spoke to my daughter as it was her pet and made sure she knew everything she needed to know to look at it. Overall a great experience and we’ll definitely be back.

Russell Boulby: Visited with my wife and 2 boys on Saturday. All reptiles kept in clean and ample enclosure. Staff were excellent, attentive and friendly, especially with our 2 boys. Most likely will be returning to purchase in the future based on experience so far.
Our Life: I have been following Snakes N Adders on Facebook for a while and was keen to visit the shop despite it being a good few hours drive away. We combined the journey with some other shops but this was definitely one of our favourite places on the trip. The shop is way smaller than I expected but they definitely pack things in and they have some impressive animals in some equally impressive enclosures. The animals are clearly well looked after and they all had clean homes with clean water dishes. Our dog was welcomed too. The woman working was great, really friendly and knowledgeable and probably best of all, in no way pushy when it came to sales. If I lived closer I would definitely be a regular and if you are looking for a reptile, or just some advice, then you should definitely pay Snakes N Adders a visit.

Hotmess Black: This is a great place to visit if you love your reptiles / amphibians and much more.. There was a very handsome bearded dragon who I could have watched and talked to all day long! Little “littlegrizzlybiggins” Grizzlybiggins: By far the best reptile shop I’ve ever been to. It’s so good to see a reptile shop actually house their animals in a proper environment and treat them as the living thinking animals they are. Danny (apologies for the name drop) was absolutely fantastic! So incredibly helpful and passionate, he went above and beyond to help with any questions we had along with just being super friendly and he really made our day. A genuinely lovely person to talk to! Exotic pets will most definitely be out number 1 shop for reptile related purchases from now on. What a truly wonderful shop!

James Wood: Really happy with the service provided here, I made an error on my first order and forgot something so had to make a second order, I called up and they waived the delivery cost on the second order with no questions asked and they told me my lamp guard wouldn’t fit my ceramic heater so I could change it which is fantastic as well, most places would just leave it and not tell you. Would 100% recommend and use these guys in the future.

klixc 101: The animals are expensive!!! I have never seen a corn snake priced at nearly 100 quid… I would say though the animals are extremely well looked after and you can tell that those who own it have a passion for the animals. Wouldn’t buy from her personally as it’s way way over priced but the animals are well looked after hence 3 stars.
Response: Hi, Thank you for your review. Our prices on corn snakes start from £65 for CB22. Pricing is dependent on the morph and age of the snake available at the time. I think if you factor in the high standard our animals are kept at, the experienced staff you can speak to when visiting our store, and the huge increase in overheads businesses like ourselves have been subjected to in recent months, they are actually very reasonably priced. Rebecca Handley: So happy to have found exotic-pets. My partner bought a bearded dragon from a friend who was moving. The set up was old and wasn’t suitable for our home. The staff at exotic pets were so helpful in advising us on the equipment that was needed and explaining everything to us. We didn’t feel like we were being pushed into a sale and we felt listened to throughout. The staff here are very knowledgeable, friendly and so helpful. I love the rewards card as well as we have already racked a few months worth of free food. Our beardie definitely looks happier in her new home

Well, what a time to be alive !!!! I met Fennec Foxes, which I've always adored.. what a dream!!Then I met a skunk, a tiny owl, a host of baby meerkats and tons more beautiful animals. The event clearly put a smile on every visitor's face and the atmosphere was brilliant. Not to mention being able to find out lots of information about all sorts of animals!I was having a rubbish day and this event, and the people hosting it, completely turned my day around. Thank you for a wonderful experience and for being such a great store!I would recommend the store for a huge range of products, knowledgeable staff and great pricing.See you again soon.

Brad “The Manimal” Watson: Great products and very speedy service. All my order was delivered swiftly and in my case still perfectly frozen. I will definitely be doing business with them again.
The Snake House: Had an absolute mare with Blue Lizard Reptiles. I placed an order for a vivarium that was showing as being in stock and paid the delivery charge as per the website on 26th May. On 31st May, with no dispatch notification received I emailed the shop and was advised by return email on 1st June that someone had been trying to contact me. I received no email, or voicemail in this regard so I’m not sure how hard they tried, but at this stage I was advised that because I ordered from Northern Ireland I would have to pay an extra £9 for delivery! I felt that this should have been covered by them, given their error, but I duly paid by PayPal on the same day. 8th June and still no dispatch notice. A number of calls to the shop with no answer or a promised call back not received and the shop advised that the supplier had sent the wrong item and the vivarium was not even in stock! They offered me a larger version of the tank at my own cost or a refund. Needless to say, I took the refund, but I had to chase this a number of times. The cost of the vivarium was eventually refunded but I had to make another few calls to chase up the additional £9 delivery fee which I paid for a product that wasn’t even in stock! I eventually received this final refund, closing the matter on the 14th July!!! No apology or any kind of compensation offered! Not good enough! Eventually ordered from Internet Reptile and received my order 2 days after my order!

Wren Latimer: The most incompetent online retailers I have ever had the displeasure of ordering from. Two months for my order to be dispatched and most of it was missing when it did arrive. Customer service take a week to respond, if they bother at all. Also, what did arrive was damaged! WORST COMPANY

I placed an order for some frozen rodents as the website claimed they were in stock and even with the delivery charge it would still save me money. There was no sign of dispatch after 4 days so i cancelled the order and was told 10 days for a refund. I rang after 10 to be told its 10 working days and to ring again today to then be told it might be tomorrow. Refund turned up at 21.10 hours. Mmmmmmmmmm . I will never order off this company again no matter how desperate i am for a product also to be told that the refund has been issued and the reaon it is taking so long is because of my payment method i used paypal who I find very reliable unlike blue lizard AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID
Response: For frozen orders we contact our customers to arrange a delivery day. Your order was in stock and we just needed to arrange a convenient delivery day - as with frozens we do need to make sure someone is there to accept the order. When we contact you to arrange delivery you advised you requested this be cancelled instead. This was cancelled as requested and the funds refunded. Worldpay refund timescales are outside of our control. Once the funds leave us they advise it can take up to 10 working days to show. These are their timescales and not ours and are unfortunately outside of our control. If you have an issue with the length of time worldpay take to refund, we would respectfully as you take this up with them.
