lu le: I have been visiting this place since around 2016 and it never failed. I now live in Wakefield and I still come once twice a month to eat. 40min drive. The sushi are the best you can get. They’re always freshly prepared and delicious. Service attentive. I like how small the place is, it makes it special. I also had hot dishes in the past and they were also good. I have tried sushi in many other places around UK, more expensive but nothing come close to this. I have taken many of my friends here, family. It’s the only place that never disappoints us. Saying that, we often visit finer places and regret paying ~£100pp for poor food. Cash only never bothered us, don’t get how others can put 2 stars because of that. Bernardo da Silva: Really disappointed. Came in and was told that they only take cash and not card. Then I was made to order online and pay extra. The miso was warm at best. Ordered unagi Don but the unagi could fit in my palm. Food was alright but very poor customer service. Lots of talking inside the kitchen. 2 stars cos the food was alright.

Adam Stuff: Ate here bank holiday Monday and it was probably the best sushi I've ever had. Chose a real mix of 4/5 different types of sushi along with the teriyaki salmon and the Korean spicy chicken - all superb. Will be back and will definitely recommend to friends.

Wez Pilkington: Went for dinner here mid week. The staff were great, greeted with a smile and shown to our pre booked table. There is a good menu where you can choose from sushi or a set meal. The sushi is categorised by colour dishes for price. You just help yourself to the food from the revolving serving belt. I choose a set curry. The portion was enough for the table. Everyone from our party enjoyed the food and would come back. Vegetarian options: A great selection can be found. These fall in to the lower tier of payment category.
Purp P: Had the tofu poke bowl delivered for a treat. Beautiful, tasty and healthy. Tofu, edamame, seaweed, sushi rice, pineapple, ginger, sesame sauce and avocado. My friend had the raw tuna. Definitely worth it and can throughly recommend. Will definitely be ordering again. *****

Lucy Stockwell: Love this place! I had the laksa curry ramen and it was HUGE, with fake shrimp, fake chicken, tofu and an egg- luckily they provided takeaway containers for what we couldn't finish. My ramen was really tasty, staff are super helpful/friendly and the prices are really low for what you get! Definitely will return.

A: Today i went with my friends and was asked how many people we had, and we said 6 by mistake, then we got our table then sat, I heard the workers judging us in Cantonese which i could understand and lady 1 said “is it 5 or 6” in a very judgmental tone, after that me and my friends felt rushed to order, after we ordered, the same lady that was judging before this collected our menus’, very aggressively, as if we did something wrong. Which we didnt we were quiet the whole time and minded our business. For context we are 5 asian teenage girls and 4 of them wasnt chinese. The whole process felt really judged and lady 2 was walking and looking at us randomly. Although the food was good the service of that one lady was poor.

Florence Rai: The place is nice and cosy. Japanese cuisines are usually on a pricey side, however, I find their prices, quality & flavours pretty well priced. We tried three different sushi rolls and they all were cheesy, crunchy and bursting with fun flavours. The sashimi (salmon & tuna raw fish) tasted fresh too. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience to have outside Sheffield city centre. By the way, if you pay cash, then you’ll get 10% off the total bill.
Alex Webster: One of the best restaurant experiences my wife and I have had. The traditional vibe, excellent service and most importantly - delicious food, made our visit an absolute pleasure. Definitely coming back to Dokidoki to sample more of the menu! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Billy Holbrook: Amazing, authentic food brought to you by lovely wait staff. The decor is bright, modern, and airy, while still bringing that feeling of culture. The atmosphere is like nothing else in Sheffield, and the selection of dishes is great. This is a brilliant example of a new small business setting itself it from the competition. Definitely high up on my favourite restaurants in Sheffield list.
Matthew Allen: Good food, reasonably priced. I had a complicated order, katsu chicken with curry extra spicy and it was delicious but not spicy. My wife had pork Ramen with extra egg and extra spicy, the noodles and broth were delightful and it was spicy. We had chicken gyoza, and it was really good. Will come back again.

The noodles perfectly cooked plus the broth full flavour and warmed me up. Definitely a place I will be going back too.

Guy Jacobs: Would not recommend. Food was good, but hey forgot part of my order, luckily never charged me for it. The East Asian female staff was nice, but the white female staff was rude. They kept trying to take our plates before we were done, but took ages actually bringing us our check. We ended up getting more food across the way where they were grateful to our custom.

Jiu Y Ren: Poor quality food. The seafood ramen used to be my favorite, and now they change the octopus to fish balls which is much cheaper and easier. I understand you want more profit but at least change the menu! All the meat that we had (beef Ramen, chicken Ramen, wagyu steak) was not fresh and very, very dry. Even the gyozas (we had pork gyoza, chicken gyoza & vegetable gyoza) which were usually lovely, today seemed overly dry & crunchy, like if there were reheated a couple of times... We paid £80 for 4 adults and a child, apologies given by the waitress but no charge taken off the bill, which I would expect as a gesture of good will. Such a shame. Won't be coming back.

Chi Man Chan: No deco, no services but they can serve you one of the best beef noodles from China. 8 pounds something and you get a huge bowl....very well done. Definitely a re-visit.
BLIBIB x Beast: This place is a gem of a find! Their style is Lanzhou ramen. This is handmade hand-pulled ramen which the chef does front of house for everyone to see. Amazing atmosphere and cool authentic experience. They have a small menu which shows they have perfected the food they make. I ordered the braised beef noodle and my friend ordered the beef noodle. These are number 2 and 1 on the menu and it is what I recommend you to try. Very authentic to its cuisine and the service is friendly and speedy. They allow you to add some chilli oil to your dish when it is ready too. The restaurant is usually quite busy and has a student vibe. The food is unmatched, the noodles are chewy in a good way and the soup is bursting with flavour. The beef is the perfect combination of meat to fat and everything in the dish complents eachother. They mention they are halal on the outside but I would ask them to double check. The Lanzhou area in China is known for being halal. I highly recommend you try this place out. 10/10 would come again!

Anirudh Kumar: Decent lunch spot in Sheffield on Brook Hill. Went with a friend to get hand pulled noodles with beef. Simple setting with ample seating. The beef noodles were a massive helping, with delicious noodle texture and soup broth, interspersed with soft, tender beef. The portion was large enough to satisfy both of us. Flame Kho: I have revisited this shop after 5 years. I can confirm that they maintain a consistent taste for their handmade noodles. The chef is continuously hand pulling the noodles from fresh in the background while you eat, great to see. Well worth a visit. Daphne D: It’s a lovely restaurant. This is the first time I’ve been to this branch, and the service is pretty good! We ordered chilli squid for starters, which is good but a little spicy! Crispy outside!! Beef brisket ramen is spicy too😅 taste nice! I like all ramen here! Grilled duck with rice is sweet. Definitely will come back one day!
Jack Lee: I actually ate here 2x in one day because it was convenient, and the menu was enticing. Lunch was the cod ramen. Dinner was the spicy mackerel with brown rice. Both are well thought out with great flavours, but both were also incredibly SALTY. I ended up dumping half of my glass of water into the ramen and it was still quite salty. The mackerel was equally very salty but impossible to correct. Service was efficient, but please reduce the salt in your dishes. Customers can easily add salt themselves.

Will: A lovely dinner here, quick service and a great choice of food. The Lucky Buddah lager is lovely and goes down a treat with the spicy dishes! Not a cheap dinner considering it is a chain but it’s always busy and reliable. The drinks are where the cost racks up so save your pocket and go for a drink after. The spicy hot dishes are certainly that!

The waiting staff are very attentive, they are all doing so well, and this place is quiet aswell which is absolutely perfect for me, the staff clearly aren't run of their feet like they are in meadowhall too, of course the food is amazing. I plan on making more visits. The toilets are great too, they're upstairs but they still manage to be cleaned often. Well done to the restaurant manager!

The salmon is delicious just the rice is just too much for me so I took it away to home. The waitress are kind and helpful as I asked her to take pics of us and she did it. I like the interior of the restaurant it feels so Japanese, just the space is quiet narrow, it is not spacious enough for many people to dine in.

Matt Finch: On an absolute session with the lads and it started off in the best fashion with a taste of Japan at Sakushi. Closest I’ve been to Japan was when I met Junichi Inamoto at a football game. Sitting on the tram on the way into town, I was that hungry my vision was starting to blur. After a few Asahis, we were served with Bao Buns, Gyozas and Yaki bowls. It was as if the meal was served in Milton Keynes Bowl, and the noodle crowd was going crazy at the chashu pork headlining act. The only downside was that I accidentally pressed the 20% tip instead of 10% so I’ll have to go to Aldi for me food shop tomorrow. All in all, a cracking meal and you’d be silly to miss this.

Mike Finbow: Overall this is a superb restaurant and experience. The all inclusive menu is good value as is the a la carte one. Taking the kids for the first time, having told them all about the robot waiters, we were a little disappointed to find that they'd been retired. I had the impression that management were prioritising the bottom line over the customer experience this year. How much the robots saved I don't know but things like the soap dispensers hanging off their mounts or already fallen off and just sitting on the side which would've taken little more than 5 to 10 minutes and a Philips screwdriver smacks at low quality management more than cost savings. Food and service good, management skills in need of a tune up.
JandA Challenges: My wife and I lived in Japan for two years, so have a pretty good idea of what Japanese food should be. Tsuki is more a case of form over function. Passable Japanese but a long way from being genuinely authentic, good Japanese. The soy sauce was insipid. Takoyaki should be a feast for the senses but it was also a bit of nothing. I make it better at home. Tsuki isn’t bad but there are better places in Sheffield.

Peter Nelson: Visited last night for my daughters 21st birthday (8 of us in total) we asked for a table for 8 and was told they normally ask for a £10 deposit for tables of 8 which is odd, I understand being asked for a deposit if you pre book a table but I don't understand why we'd be expected to pay a £10 deposit when we are present in the restaurant, after all we're not going to cancel the table if we're at the restaurant???.... The tablet ordering service doesn't work well for large parties, paper menus should be made available for larger parties as it takes too long to order with large numbers. Another flaw with the ordering system is the side dish, appetisers and mains come out at the same time. I want to eat my rice with my main and preferably warm not cold. The food was ok, tasted fresh but again nothing special. If you are looking for a venue with a nice ambiance and decent food give it a try but if you are expecting food that you'd find in a restaurant rated at 4.5 and above you'll be disappointed.
