Mosborough Kennels: what do users think?

Dawn Shearwood: We have been taking our dog here for years and I think that is testimony to the staff and the way he is cared for. He was a rescue dog and has always had a bit of a growl with strangers but the staff have been amazing with him and like many other reviews he pulls me up the path to reception and then trots to the kennels with whoever takes him. I always book well in advance because I don’t want him to go anywhere else. The staff are so friendly and approachable and just great. I can’t praise them enough.

Susan Kitson: My loves this place and the staff so much he did not recognise us when we collected him thanks

Angela Jackson: Friendly staff, good outdoor walking area, a separate room inside for the dogs to play together

Stephen Cuckson: Took our dog for 11days and was well looked after

Chris Bronsdon: Excellent kennels. Clean and well run. Staff are friendly and seem to genuinely care for our (ex-rescue) dog.We have used them 3 times, having discovered them this year. Can definitely recommend.

Claire Heard: Always used them, always will. Brilliant people and loving towards your pets
Alan McGauley: Excellent well run kennels
Catherine Wilcockson: Absolutely amazing such caring and loving towards the animals, I would never take princess anywhere else 5⭐️ fitted me in last minute due to me having to start chemotherapy such a lovely manger and princess come home looking happy . Thankyou so much x
Julye Bott: our cat seems to love it there she normally hisses at me when I go to collect her and I have to prise her from the heated box they have for each of the cats. She always seems well fed and any treats I take are given to her and when she comes home she is immediately settled unlike another cattery I took her to. Food is included again unlike the other cattery and the price is very reasonable. This time our formal has been naughty overlicking a big bite so is on cream and medication and the staff just said right what we on and when no problem at all they are brilliant.
Lindsay McPupps: Been using these kennels for over 30 yrsFriendly owners, dogs well looked after, and comfortable
Bionic Blade: Worth a visit
Beverley SPRIGGS: My cat has been holidaying here since 6 months old, she loves it and I can honestly say I wouldn’t leave her anywhere else. Thank you Aimee and the team. 😃
Nathan Howell: I have recently moved to Sheffield and just acquired a lab pup currently at 13 weeks old I booked hime here after seeing the reviews and today I decided to pop by to see where my dog was going to stay. Well that's where it all changed, after been around the sight around 10-15 mins with no member of staff in sight, to me massive theft risk I could have taken any dog I pleased. We was then approached by a female member of staff who was reasonably respectfully but through questioning found out that my dog would only get (1 small walk) per day!!!!!! We talking about a large bread with reasonable drive only having 15-20 min walk a day and in what I discribe to be small runs for 23h and 40mins of the day. I have returned to my usual dog genial as they really are superb but it's a 90min drive.
victoria Jarrett: Absolutely fantastic. We'll be taking our girls here everytime
Pat Donnelly: been using these kennels for more than 20years staff are always friendly and helpfulWouldn't consider going anywhere else
Gill Podoski: Looked after our cat no problem well looked after
Andi Mac: Great place wouldn't take my dog anywhere else
Sam Parsons: Booked my dog in for his first stay with Mosborough Kennels and only his second ever stay in kennels and I can't rate them enough because I picked up a very happy dog at the end of his stay and therefore highly recommend. Thank you!
Maxine Radford: Great kennels staff great thanks for looking after our pets
27 Shacks: Always served with a smile
Helen Thompson: We have been using mosborough kennels for 15 years .Our dogs are very well looked after .The staff are very dedicated and helpful .This gives us peace of mind when we go away .
Richard J: Been here half a dozen times now and our 2 dogs seem to love coming here- so much so they pull us up the drive to get in quicker! They always look great when we collect them and the staff seem to be knowledgeable and are very amiable. It doesn't hurt that they seem to be the cheapest around too. You can park really close by and I noticed for those who have trouble walking there's a place to drive up and Park outside the office.

Cliffe Kennels & Rescue: what do users think?

Ami Scott: Cannot recommend Roz enough. We have adopted two dogs from her now and she is always at the other end of the phone to give support and advice.

Richard Amos: Extremely impressed with Jackie who looks after the rescues. We adopted a rescue from here solely on the back of meeting Jackie and seeing how knowledgable and caring she was about the dogs here. It’s a commercial kennels and has all the usual challenges of a day to day business, but there is no doubt the dogs here are well cared for and needs taken seriously. Our little Rue is very happy and clearly had been given a good bit of love before we took her.

Mike Redmond: Great experience, adopted a mixed breed Romanian rescue. I am so impressed at the obvious care and attention that must have been given to this beautiful dog. She has settled into the family so quickly and easily, she is fun and happy. Thank you Ros, Jackie

David McDonnell: Very friendly and helpful we got Malky a beautiful cross breed lovely dog

Garry Picken: Our first time and for Buddy (the dog) and it will not be the last. Thanks a lot.Glenda & Garry Picken

Gill Clarke: We collected our Romanian rescue dog from this Kennel and it was a lovely experience. Someone came out to greet us at the car and sent us to the correct building. Roz guided us through the information we needed to know and brought our little dog out to us. She was really lovely and she carried our dog out to the car and fastened her in. Roz had been so helpful during the whole adoption process I would definitely feel comfortable using this kennel if I wanted to board an animal

Claudia King: Roz & the team are fabulous. Such a lovely kennels. Clean & tidy. So thankful that "Duke" could come home with us today. My mum is over the moon.
ruth oxtaby: Always got all our rescues from cliffe kennels, wouldnt go anywhere else. We have recentley adopted a staffy called Rico and he's the best, lovely around people and other dogs. Thank you Cliffe kennel you have made one family happy again.
Giles Davies: Been there many times. Drop cat off and pick up cat later. Tick.
Emily Walland: Our two german shepherds come here regularly. Wouldn't use anywhere else, our boys are always looked after and come home happy.
simon horlock: Lovely freindly people who really love the dogs there
Tami Jade: WOMAN AT RECEPTION THREATENS PEOPLE WHO RING TO QUERY WHY THEY HAVE ALLOWED A DANGEROUS DOG TO BE HOMED WITH ME AND MY FOSTER CHILDREN.
Gracie Dyson: Avoid at all costs. Our dog was taken to Cliffe Kennels by the dog warden after she had managed to escape the back garden. When we picked her up (thankfully she had only been there a couple of hours) she was absolutely covered in cobwebs and VERY mucky! She also developed kennel cough within the same week!
Martha Collins: They take good care of my Roomie, always use them.
Tracy Kemp: Lovely team very caring thanksAnimal Ark Pet Transportation
Vicky Tindle: Excellent.
Rosemarie Lee: They didn't have any dogs that were suitable for me
Caz Hurst: I got my 🐕 from here, best £250 I'd spent in a decade 💕❤💛💜💓💚💞
Barry Conolly: Went to meet our forever dog and he will be coming home with us soon, great set up nice easy process and very reasonable fees, they do a fantastic job and would recommend more people come and give some more dog's loving homes
paola davies: Great place. Taken good care of 4 various cats for us over the past 20 years.
Jeff Whetton: We have adopted Labradors from cliff kennels 4 times over the years
Thomas Conroy: Looked after my dog whilst I Was ill and dog seemed happy there... Thanks
swirl world: Critical:ProfessionalismI found the lady ( I believe to be manager) extremely impolite, unwelcoming, patronising and very unprofessional. I have had contact with rescue centres for many years and I would definitely not recommend this one. Shame for the animals.
Diane Demers: Do you remember Ivy from 4 years ago

Blue Cross rehoming and advice unit, Sheffield: what do users think?

Will: Appreciate what they do, but not a fan of them calling door to door for a "chat" when people may be working from home.

Lisa Cook: My son and girlfriend adopted a guinea pig from here and were delighted with the care and time taken with the adoption ,, the Guinea pig (keith) arrived with food insurance and information necessary to integrate him in with there other 2 Guinea pigs . These guys do fabulous job and the care these animals receive is second to none. Thank you to blue cross Sheffield .

Pauline Mclean: Really lovely staff.my granddaughter adopted a Guinea pig he is really loved and spoiled thank you X

Zoe Burton: Great run charity, have lots of fostering options, do not put a healthy dog down unless extreme behaviour that cannot be rectified. They try so hard. They offer flexible fostering options which is great. You can drop the foster dog off before work and pick it up again after work and also can borrow foster dogs for the weekend etc, not all the time but fantastic idea if the dogs get stressed out in kennels.

Phyliss Anita Cole: Made me feel I was doing the right thing via my pets didnt judge me one bit was very understanding of my circumstances rehomed 2 cats and in process of rehoming our 3rd cat with them I love how u keep them with you up until a home is found for them they dont point finger if you havent kept up vaccinations of ur pet they sort all that out making the whole process easier.

Bethany Rigby: Really non judgemental and felt really reassured that my cats were going to be well looked after whilst they were rehomed. Thank you blue Cross 💙

Mill House Animal Sanctuary: what do users think?

mark Morss: We when there too raise some money for them and we raised £287.71 on the day

Phoebe Simpson: It has an amazing atmosphere all thanks to the wonderful, polite and well mannered staff. All the animals are treat to the best standard of care and are very well cared for!

Katie Lee: We fell in love with a dog from the sanctuary and will be taking him home in 3 days!

Caitlin MacLeod: Mill House is chaotic, crazy, and wonderful. The volunteers clearly care so much for the animals despite not having the funds to make the place look like a 5* hotel!

Amir Al-Sheboul: Great place run by lovely people. You can borrow dogs for walks as long as you bring them back before £2. The scenery around that area is absolutely fantastic

Tim Longson: Probably the most caring animal rescue centre in the country! All they care about is altruistically helping animals, not profits. Lovely people. If you want a pet go there first!

Angela Marie Morss: The staff work really hard with the little they have please try and help this place all you can x
Lesley Ashmore: Just looking for a lil doggie found website ok
Lucia Green: Unfortunately they make it quite hard to try and adopt a dog. I enquired about a dog via text and asked questions to see if he would be a suitable fit for our home and I received one reply which I responded too but I was then ignored
Tracey Hill: The people they have walking the dogs do not clean up after them. The dogs are nasty ,and dangerous, and should be muzzled when out on the lead .
joanna smith: Loved it
Julie Patilla: Excellent place.
Zoe Hulbert: Amazing local animal sanctuary
Maggie Dudley: Amazing people, do alot for animals!
Bethany xo: yes they was kind enough to take my dog in after my family couldn’t care for him no more but they didn’t handle it the right way. The old woman took the lead out of my hands and wouldn’t let me have him back and when we was filling in the paperwork she disappeared with my dog and when we asked to see him to say goodbye the young rude woman said we couldn’t because of another dog living in that house. I admit i went into a fit of rage and argued but the unprofessional young woman argued with me saying it wasn’t my dog anymore, my younger siblings was distraught they didn’t get to say goodbye to our dog of 6 years and neither did ii.
angela kilner: Beautiful place and beautiful people
Debbie Ingham: Went to look at the dogs, didn't have a clue didn't know what dogs he had in, thought he would know seeing has he worked there
insomnia Sue Sadler: Great place , doing a fantastic job! Always need help so get in touch .

Patricia Hobson: Lovely place to visit and see the animals, take a dog for a walk .Please make a donation to keep this place going. Every little helps

RSPCA Sheffield Animal Shelter: what do users think?
Lis Osborn: Nice and clean. Friendly staff
louise Dalton: We met a really helpful member of staff today when we met the dog. She was great
Karen Yates: I love buying from there
Jill Copley.: The people were very nice so I felt more than fine to leave my pet here for an operation.
Christina Cawthra: Adopted a female tabby and white cat who was called Whisky from you guys in 2015 and the experience was great thank you and she's honestly the most loving cat I could ask for.
Alan Garnham: I went this morning with some tins of dog food and no I was there I drove round And waited another 10 mins till a van turned up and the young lady took them of me
Paul Cosgrove: Found a staffie in middle of bawtry road no collar, managed to get it and put on a lead, had no joy finding owner so nanaged to get it to rspca. The dog was all over the car it definitely wasn't a safe situation. Rspca said no we cannot take it and if I let it go I'm on camera and will be prosecuted for abandonment. Thankyou rspca no more charity drops from me. Terrible service I'm discussed
Neal Holden: I'm an idiot
Martin Martinov: Unreachable, these who are working there are obviously not enough.
Craig Flem: Great shelter the staff are so friendly but also very busy there are lots of animals to care for and there's a lot of land to take care of.
Sam A: Rang them to help a pigeon which could have easily been helped at it was minor injuries... they nevertheless decided it was easier to put it down. This is despite the fact I asked them to let me know if they planned on doing that as I have rehab experience and would have happily taken care of the bird.In my experience they are terrible and always put animals down. I will never call the RSPCA for help again. If I could give them less than one star I would have.
Gwyn Watson: Contacted about house clearance , as advertised. Really rude, generally not interested as they only have small shops!! So why advertise house clearance?
Clare Green: Dawn is absolutely fantasticHelpful and friendly
clare radford: I can't say enough about the team who run the RSPCA centre in Sheffield. I try and donate when I can, if you have donations, please check out their website to see what they can take.
Cliff Latham: Very helpful 🐱
Naveen Sharma: I went there twice, stood and waited for the reception but no answer. The phone number at the entrance door is switched off..There is no way to contact anyone at this branch...I am really disappointed.
nau: I was told my lost rabbit was put here idk when the contact numbers are
Debra Albinson: Please support the animals, they all need you. X
Malcolm Broomfield: Good service
Matt P: Great people doing a great job under the toughest of circumstances and deserve all the help they can get.

Helping Yorkshire Poundies: what do users think?
Jen Stott: HYPS are such a wonderful rescue. They are only small but do so very much for the dogs in their care. I have been lucky enough to foster and adopt from HYPS and they are super supportive, friendly but most of all make sure they match the needs of the dog to their forever home, this is so important especially when the dogs haven't had the best life experiences. Huge thank you to HYPS for all you do!
jo crossley: I have rescued three dogs through this charity and have found them to be really supportive and helpful making sure that I had behavioural support when I had issues with introducing a new dogMy current dogs both had extensive health care needs whilst in rescue and this was all managed in the dogs best interests and not down to costsHyps is a tiny rescue working so hard to help as many dogs as possible and always support those in need, they also work hard so that the new homes found are the best ones for the dog
Amber Williamson: Don’t respond to applications, emails or Facebook messages - such a shame for the dogs having to stay in the shelter longer than necessary or not be adopted at all
Beverley Upcraft: Such an amazing small charityamd team, helping lots of dogs.
Jodie: Never gets back in contact with you via email or Facebook messages or phone. Useless.
Wayne Lightfoot: V good
Gillian Bladon: Lovely people very caring towards the animals very helpful x
Julie Cooke: Looking to adopt a dog and found this site helpful
Allison Allen: They do not advertise dogs fairly at all and clearly don't look at applications in depth. This will result in people being put off rescuing dogs which is a real shame
Andy Thomson: Amazing, loving kennels rescuing poor pooches.
Sue Eaton: Fostering Mr WilsonHe's first night hereSleeping Beauty
Lucky One: Critical:ProfessionalismI hope you remember Fraser than you left with Zara Rooney have emails proving it. It’s time you stood accounted for that dog. You sent him to his death. This is his last picture. I hope it’s embedded in your brains. I will make sure you stand for what you did to this dog.
Julie Bradshaw: ANDREW BRADSHAW
Kim O'Reilly: I was lucky enough to be considered to adopt a beautiful staffie called Buster recently. I lost my own staffie 3 months ago and am desperate to adopt again, but at the last minute I panicked, thinking I may not be quite ready afterall yet so chose not to give beautiful Buster a home, which on reflection may not have been the right choice for me. The staff at HYPS were understanding and didn't try to rush or push me into a decision. I know the staff at HYPS will get Buster a get him a great home with someone else, and that's my loss. The staff were really great, professional, it was obvious they care deeply about the dogs in their care, I can't praise them enough. If you are thinking of adopting a dog I would recommend trying HYPS.
Deborah Whittaker: Lovely clean rescue. Really care about the animals in their care. Friendly, knowledgeable staff.
Helen Poole: Fabulous rescue made rescuing our wonderful Alfie so easy as we were not local to Yorkshire they really accommodated us and the whole adoption process was really easy and really pleasant thankyou ever do much HYPS xx
juliet thompson: Rescuing dogs from Deathrow. Enough said.
Sallyann Arnett: They never give up on any dog and find the best homes or permanent foster for every dog it's a small team of lovely kind selfless people with alot of lovely supporters ! Always need more though so take a look you will be smitten !
Scott Knutton: Nice shop plenty of parking
Jane Bishop: They do such amazing work and we adopted one of their rescues 5 years ago
Stephanie Brown: Lovely cottage xx
